Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
a new mindset, and another day for you to become
the Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
Happy Wednesday, Welcome back to another episode. I apologize that
this episode is either a day late or a few

(00:34):
hours late. But your girl had to watch the Summer
I turned pretty finale. It just was a muss. I
woke up this morning and I'm like, Okay, I'll probably
just watch it tonight, like no big deal. And then
I was like, you know what, No, I actually need
to watch this now. I cannot think about this all
day and just like not know what the ending is.
I know some people that stayed up till midnight when

(00:56):
it got released or one am, whatever the time was,
and they watch that night. Like I just felt like
it was something that I had to watch and thought
we could do a quick little debrief about the episode.
So if you haven't seen it, skip past his part.
I'm only going to talk for like five minutes about this,
but oh my goodness, I just have to say that
was probably the most incredible finale ever. I'm not even

(01:19):
over exaggerating. I've seen all three seasons. Obviously, I was
obsessed with the show, and I felt like these like
last few episodes, we were all kind of like really
unsure about how the ending was gonna go, because I
really felt like they kind of made it seem like
Belly was gonna choose herself and not end up with Conrad.
And then the ending like everything about it, like him

(01:41):
showing up, making you know him and her basically about
the entire episode, you know, their freaking love scene for
like what three minutes from the you know, uh cab
ride to the freaking staircase to the bedroom. Like I'm like,
oh my goodness, like literally incredible, and then all of
a sudden, a complete turn of events taken to place

(02:02):
where Belly's all of a sudden saying yeah, she's not
sure she loves him or not. It's like, oh, okay,
why did we change that direction? Like I literally shared
my live reaction because I felt so confused, Like the
last fifteen minutes of the episode, I'm like, Okay, they're
in love, They're gonna go back to cousins everything's gonna
be great. And then all of a sudden, no, that's
not the case. Belly basically was like, yeah, well, I'm

(02:24):
not sure if like I can commit to this, and
I don't think I want to go back. It's like, oh, okay,
So now Conrad's getting on a train to fucking Belgium,
and it's like, are you freaking kidding me? Like the
fact you're letting him walk away right now, I was
so pissed in that moment. I'm like, this cannot be
the way it ends. And then all of a sudden,
she obviously changes her mind. She starts running after him.
I'm freaking out by myself in my house, like, oh

(02:47):
my god, she's running after him, Like what if she
gets on the wrong train. She needs to get on
the right train to make sure that, you know, they
see each other and that she's willing to, you know,
fight for him and take him back or whatever. And
she gets on the train and they had the most
passionate kids on the train, and I'm like, oh my goodness,
I am so beyond happy. She goes back to cousins

(03:08):
after a year later. You know, I'm sure obviously we
didn't see like clips of them in Paris, but I'm
sure they did like a year of distance, you know,
probably went to go visit her all that, and then
now she's back and cousins, and I just like hope
that they're obviously like in Susanna's house and they get
married and anyways, I just cannot believe how good the

(03:28):
ending turned out. A lot of people on TikTok are
talking about some things that we still don't know about,
like Belly opening the letter that Susannah wrote her. I
think that's a big one in my opinion, like we
have no idea anything about that. We don't know if
they get married. Like obviously at the end, they just
showed like a photo album of them, you know, in
Paris during Christmas, So it would have been nice to
kind of see, like the future, does Jeremiah go to

(03:50):
California with this girl? You know, Taylor and Steven, how's
their life in California? So I kind of wish there
was a little bit more maybe like seven months later
or a year later, of kind of like what was
going on. Like I know they showed them obviously being
back in cousins like Belly and Conrad, but I wish
we kind of knew a little bit more information about

(04:10):
the characters. But anyways, that's my shpiel. I just wanted
to like let that out of my system because I'm
sure maybe some of you have seen the show, or
you know, watch the finale, or you haven't seen the show.
I feel like it's such a big thing on social
media right now, So if you have not seen the
Summer I Turn pretty I highly recommend you do. So.
I feel like, obviously if you haven't seen it, like yes,

(04:31):
I kind of gave a spoiler away, but also you'll
be able to kind of like get the whole storyline
from the beginning to end in the best way possible.
So I still think it's worth watching. But wow, wow,
wow wow, I'm so happy with how the ending turned out.
And yeah, I just wanted to do a little debrief
on the podcast because I was pretty happy about how

(04:53):
the finale went. In this episode this week, we're going
to be talking about some fall trends along with some
September favorites because I have purchased a few things this
month and I'm already loving these things and just things
that I may have done for the fall season. Along
with sharing some fashion trends, just because I talked about
it in the Things to look forward to for Fall

(05:13):
episode where I said I would talk about things that
I'm really looking forward to styling this fall, along with
just like things that I'm looking forward to purchasing. So
almost like a little wish list of things that I
think is like the ideal thing to have for fall.
So again, wishless, this is not something that you all
need to buy. It's just more so trends that I'm
loving for the fall season that might inspire you for

(05:35):
fall fashion and all that, and then again some September
favorites that I think you guys would love as well
for the fall season. Also, a few of you guys
have actually messaged me because obviously I've been trying to
get into TV shows for the fall, and I talked
about how I wanted to watch a fall TV show.
I'm definitely very into The Gilmore Girls now, which I'm
so happy about. I think it was just the first

(05:56):
few episodes that I couldn't get into, but now I'm
very much loving it. So that's been a great show
to watch. And then another one that I just found
on Amazon. It's actually a new show. It's called The Girlfriend.
If you like like a psycho thriller kind of vibe,
you guys need to watch this TV show. It's about
a mom who's kind of like obsessed with their son
and then the girlfriend who kind of seems psychotic. And

(06:19):
you see it from two different perspectives. You see it
from the mom's side of how she feels about the girlfriend,
and then how the girlfriend sees the mom. And I
don't know, it's just like really hard to see, like
who's the psycho one, Like, at one point you think
it's the mom, and then another point you think it's
the girlfriend. So it's kind of cool how there's just
like so many different perspectives of seeing the situation. And
I just love how they portrayed the show and how

(06:41):
they've done it so far, and just how it's kind
of like into spooky season with it being a bit
of a thriller. So if you're looking for a new
TV show to watch, highly highly recommend The Girlfriend. I
think I'm almost done the first season. I think I
have one or two more episodes, but very much into it.
Don't want to give any spoilers, So if you have
Amazon Prime, it's on that along with The Summer I
Turn Pretty, which was the show I just talked about

(07:02):
that I watched the finale of, and then Gilmore Girls
I believe is on Netflix. So let's get into today's episode.
We're going to start off with September favorites, things that
I've been loving for September so far, along with some
fall trends that I'm obsessed with for the fall season.
All Right, the first September favorite that I've been loving
is cherry red nails. I actually just got my nails

(07:23):
done on Monday, and I'm obsessed with this color. I got.
The specific color name that I got is winter Wine
by the brand DND. So if you're looking for the
perfect cherry red shade for your nails, highly recommend trying
out this shade. Legit perfection in my opinion. I posted
an Instagram story of the color that I got, and
I feel like I got a lot of dms just

(07:44):
saying like, what's the exact color all that? So that's
the exact color in the exact brand. I'm obsessed with it.
I definitely want to do dark brown nails as well
or navy nails. I feel like dark nails in general
during this time of the year is just so fun
to do, and I feel like I never do dark
nails in the summer or in the winter, so I
feel like, if you're wanting to try out dark nails,

(08:07):
this is the time to do. So. I've done dark
brown and navy in the past and both loved those
colors as well. I did also change my nail shape,
which I think I talked about in a previous episode,
but I did go to square French, which I loved, Okay,
absolutely loved it. But I did change back to oval
for this time around, not because I didn't like the square.

(08:28):
I did love the square. It's just I did these
exact nails this time last year, and I just loved
the way it looked. So I didn't want to do
the square and be disappointed because I felt like I
loved them so much last year that I might as
well just do the exact same thing. So I'll probably
go back to square either the next time or the
following appointment, with either doing dark brown nails with a

(08:49):
square shape or maybe the navy. I just really loved
my nails last year I wanted to replicate it. So
if you're looking for a fun color to do for
the fall season, I highly recommend checking out Cherry Red
and try out the winter Wine by D and D.
Another thing I've been loving for September is swayed anything
swayed like swayede jackets, swayed begs. I actually just ordered

(09:12):
this chocolate brown swayed toute that I'm very excited to receive.
But just anything swayed right now, I feel like has
been calling my name. I feel like it's just a
very like common trend as well for the fall season.
So if you feel like you need something swayed, there's
so many things that you could find. There's swayed tops,
there's swayed shorts, there's again swayede jackets like bomber jackets,

(09:35):
swayed bags all that. There's also a lot of cute
swayed bags on Amazon that I've seen, like cute little clutches.
I'll link some of the things that I'm talking about
as well on my LTK, just because I know sometimes
you guys want me to link things when I talk
about it in a podcast episode. So everything that I'll
be talking about here, I'll link it if it's linkable.
But yeah, swayed anything has definitely been something that I've

(09:57):
been loving for this month. Something that I've purchased recently
that I also love is my chocolate brown water bottle.
I just got a new one because guys, I lost
my water bottle at the wedding I was at two
weekends ago and was so sad because I really did
love it. But I was like, you know what, maybe
it's my opportunity to try something different. And I got

(10:17):
this bottle and the brand is called Bink, and wow,
the quality of these bottles are insane. I love that
it's like this silicone material on the exterior and it's
a glass bottle, and then it has the top where
it's you can close it or open it, which is
nice so you don't have to worry about it like leaking.
But they also have one with a straw top, so

(10:39):
if you wanted to buy the additional piece for it,
you could do a straw toop as well. But I
do really like this because I could throw it in
my toe bag and know that it's not going to leak,
which is great. So really really love that. That's a
purchase that I've been loving for September so far. Another
thing that I love for September is I've definitely changed
up my routine. As you guys know, I've definitely been
romanticized my morning and night routine by like lighting candles,

(11:03):
turning on the fireplace, making a coffee, having slow mornings,
like truly just taking advantage of the fall season and
romanticizing the shit out of my routines. And it just feels,
honestly so good to change up my routine and also
just you know, really try to feel like I'm in
the fall season by making my space just feel extra

(11:25):
cozy all that. Obviously, I decorated the entire house, which
I feel like it just looks so good, and I'm
just obsessed with how the house looks right now. So
definitely make that extra mile of decorating your space or
again just romanticizing your mornings by lighting a candle, turning
on a fireplace, whatever the case may be. Like it
truly does feel better doing the smallest task and the

(11:47):
littlest things in your morning or in your night. And
by doing the little things, like you know, creating a
whole ambiance and romanticizing your nights by actually making the
effort of doing those little things just makes you feel
ten times better doing those things like having a candle
it while making dinner with my husband. I love that shit,
Like I freaking love it. I feel good, have my

(12:07):
fireplace on, have a good TV shown in the background.
You know, if I didn't do any of those little
things that kind of like make the dinner experience more enjoyable,
then you know, it's just like it's just cooking dinner
with your husband. It's just kind of like whatever, like
doesn't really feel enjoyable. So if you make it enjoyable
by doing those little things, it just kind of makes
your night feel better, you know what I mean. So anyways,

(12:31):
DEATH recommend trying to romanticize every little thing, even like
going on walks or anything like that, like put on
a cute workout set, you know, maybe go to a
coffee shop and treat yourself, like make the walk more
enjoyable than it sounds, right, Like going on a walk
just sounds basic, But if you make it more fun
by doing those little things really just makes you enjoy
it even more. So definitely romanticize your mornings and nights

(12:53):
and just your life in general, obviously, but I feel
like for the fall season, you might as well enjoy
it and create a little fun ambiance while doing it.
Other things I love to do in September is usually
go apple pickings. I feel like this is the prime
season to go apple picking, and I feel like it's
just such a fun fall activity to do with a
girlfriend or husband. Going on a walk in the trails.

(13:17):
Zach and I have been doing that every Sunday, honestly
since September has started, and we've been walking in a
trail by our place, going to treat yourself to a
coffee and just like seeing the leaves change all that. Again,
something that's small but feels really enjoyable and just yeah,
I really enjoyed doing it with him. And we also
went to the farmer's market and again just picked up bread,

(13:37):
picked up like homemade treats for Freddy. Something that's a
fall activity, but doing it together just made it more
fun and more enjoyable. So highly recommend doing that if
you haven't had a fall weekend with your boyfriend or
your sister or your best friend. The last September favorite
that I could think of that I recently have been
doing is darker makeup, So just kind of doing like

(13:58):
darker eyeshadow, darker blushes, like a burgundy or a plumb shade.
I've been loving the Road Espresso lip gloss. I feel
like that's like a darker lip gloss than I typically use.
So just kind of changing up my makeup for the
fall season has been fun to do. I feel like
it's always nice to kind of change up your routine
going into a new season. Feel Like, in the winter,

(14:19):
obviously I'm paler, so I feel like I really try
and create like a bronzy, golden look by enhancing my
skin tone to more of a tanner look. In the summer,
I try to do more of a natural makeup routine
because I feel like I already have so much color,
I don't need to put too much makeup on my face.
So I try and take advantage of my tan and
just kind of enhance the makeup by just adding a
little bit of bronzer, a little bit of blush. Don't

(14:40):
typically wear mascara, and then like a light nude lipstick.
Whereas now, going into the fall, I feel like I've
been doing more darker makeup, you know, darker lipstick, darker bronzer,
darker blush all that. So just kind of playing around
with my makeup's been kind of fun. And yeah, as
I said, I've been loving the Road Espresso lip Bomb.
I actually just reach and started using these Summer Friday's

(15:02):
New cream blushes in this like I forget what it's called.
It's something like it actually has something with plumb in it.
I will link it on my LTK for the exact
Summer Friday's blush I'm referring to. And then for an
eyeshadow palette, I've been loving the makeup by Mario. I
think it's just like his classic palette with honestly a
bunch of different brown and golden shades and I've been

(15:25):
using that just to kind of like darken up my eyeshadows.
So those would be my September favorite so far that
I've either purchased or things that I've been loving for
this month. So now let's start talking about my fall
wishless or just fall trends in general that I'm obsessed
with that I think you guys will also love for
the fall season. I personally just love scrolling on social

(15:46):
media finding ways to kind of like enhance my style, right,
So I feel like there's always ways to make yourself
feel a little bit more confident, and I feel like
fashion is something that is always difficult for some people.
I think it's hard to know how to style yourself
or how to dress. I've had so many circumstances where,
you know, I buy certain things, I try it on,

(16:08):
you know, because maybe someone influenced me and I really
liked it on them, and then I tried it on
myself and I'm like, this is just not me, you
know what I mean. Like, there's just certain things that
I think certain people can pull off, and there's certain
things that I'm like, yeah, Nope, this is just not
for me. And that's okay. So I think finding fashion
and fall pieces can be difficult and it's very much

(16:28):
trial and error. I just did a recent Zara hall.
I ordered two jackets that I thought I was going
to love. It was a short trench coat and this
leather brown jacket. Hated both of them. Thought I was
going to love it, absolutely hated it. Saw it on
another girl though, and I was like, Wow, that looks
amazing on her. So it really just depends on what
suits you. And I think it's okay to know what

(16:50):
you love and what you don't love, and that it's
always going to be a hit and miss when you're
ordering these things. Obviously, ordering online is always going to
be a hit and miss as well, Like trying on
in store definitely helps, but I usually order all my
things online. So one thing that I absolutely love that
I personally feel like anybody can pull off, and it's
a huge fall trend that I think a lot of

(17:11):
people have been doing lately is Cowboy boots. I love
wearing a brown sweded Cowboy boot with a mini skirt
or a pair of shorts. I think it totally just
elevates the entire look. If I wore those shorts and
a chunky sweater with just a basic pair of sneakers,
the outfit would look like shit. Like I'm not even

(17:32):
over exaggerating, like it literally would not make it feel
like a fall outfit. I feel like the Cowboy boots
or any dark brown swede boot just really makes an
outfit feel more fall inspired. So if you're looking to
get a good pair of boots, I highly recommend getting
Cowboy boots. I think it's very cute for the fall
season and honestly just a fall trend that I really

(17:54):
do love. Another fall item that I love for fashion
is barn jackets. I'm sure you guys have probably seen
the barn jackets. It's hard to describe, but I feel
like it's a pretty common thing that people have been
posting a lot about on social media. They sell them
at Zara, they sell them at a Ritzia. I feel like,
honestly everywhere sells a barn jacket at this point. But
it's a really good fall jacket to have because I

(18:16):
feel like it's very casual, but you could also wear
it with like a workout set. It's something that just
like really elevates a look for the fall season. So
definitely check out barn jackets if you've never heard of it.
And I think it's just a really good jacket to
own for the fall season and just a trend that
I've been loving. Another fall trend that isn't fashion specific,
just because I'm trying to talk about more than just

(18:38):
fashion here, but pumpkin maple butter lattes. You guys know,
I love a good pumpkin coffee, and I recently came
across this reel of a girl making this maple butter
pumpkin coffee and I'm like, oh, interesting, Like I want
to watch it. Maybe I'll try and make it. Whatever
went to my grocery store this weekend and I found
the maple butter and the only ingred was pure maple syrup.

(19:01):
It's just in like butter form. So I literally bought
it and I put pumpkin pure pumpkin spice, a little
bit of salt in my shot glass obviously brewed my
espresso shot and wow, wow wow. If you are looking
to try a new coffee recipe for the fall, trust
me on this. You need to try the maple butter
pumpkin coffee. It is incredible. I will try and make

(19:22):
a TikTok this week if you guys want to see
the recipe and how I did it. But it is
very good and definitely something that I fell for for
a fall trend, and I definitely think it's worth trying out,
especially if you're the kind of person that loves pumpkin
and wants to try and create a fall coffee recipe
for your everyday coffee. Another fashion trend that I'm really

(19:42):
loving right now is lace satin shorts. So these shorts
almost look like pajamas. I would say, like it just
kind of looks like a white pair of satin PJ shorts.
But girls are styling it with like chunky sweaters or
chunky jackets. I've also seen people style it with like
a leather jacket, like very very cute, and then they're

(20:05):
pairing it with a pair of like cowboy boots or
black leather boots. And I just find the style looks
very very effortless, but also very chic because of the
satin material. So search it on TikTok search satin shorts.
You can also search satin lace skirts. I think anything
satin right now as a bottom is really really trendy.

(20:25):
So either a lace satin skirt or a lace satin
pair of shorts paired with like a chunky sweater, you
guys will see what I'm referring to. I think it's
just so so cute for the fall, and I mean
you only wear shorts and a chunky sweater for a
very short period of time in the fall, since it
is very warm now. But I do think obviously when
October rolls around, it's gonna be harder to wear a

(20:47):
pair of shorts or a skirt, So definitely take advantage
of styling you know, shorts and skirts now when it's
actually warm out. And yeah, I just think it looks
really really put together and just kind of different than
typical outfit that I would personally wear. But I like that,
Like I like how it's a bit different and unique
and it's something that I find really flattering on everybody.

(21:08):
Another thing I've been loving for a fall trend is stripes,
like stripe mugs, stripe robes, stripe sweaters, like anything with stripes.
I'm obsessed with. Some of the decor that I actually
got has stripes in it, Like if I could buy
stripe pillows, stripe blankets, like I would. I just think
stripes are very very in. And finding stripe colors that

(21:29):
are like in the dark brown shade or light brown
to kind of go with the fall season, or like
a burgundy or cherry red, I feel like it's just
very very in. I know H and M Home has
a lot of good stripe decor along with stripe betting.
If you guys want good fall betting, you need to
go to H and M. Home. So affordable, I have

(21:51):
the dark brown betting. It was maybe fifty dollars I
think fifty or sixty bucks for the duvet cover worth
every single penny. And if you're someone that knows how's
the betting is? Like usually betting I think is it
could be up to like three to four hundred dollars
for a douve cover, which is wild. Furniture in general
is just so expensive or anything related to a house.
But H and M Home has really really good fall pieces,

(22:13):
really really affordable, especially for fall home decor. And Zara
Home is also really good. But definitely check out H
and M Home if you're looking for an affordable fall betting,
because I talk about it all the time, like finding
ways to enhance your space into the season always just
feels so much more enjoyable. So I've obviously changed over
my bedding to make it feel a bit more fall inspired,

(22:34):
and I got the dark brown betting and I really
feel like it makes a huge difference in my bedroom
and I just love the way it looks. So Yeah.
They also have stripe betting, so if you are looking
for a stripe douve cover, H and M Home is
your girl. She has everything, it's affordable, it's cute, and
we'll make sure to link it an LTK if you
guys are interested anyways, love a good stripe anything, stripe mugs,

(22:56):
stripe betting, striped shirts, anything stripe right now, I'm absolutely
obsessed with this. Next one is something that I used
to wear religiously in high school. Okay, yes, uggs still
wear them to this day. Love my ugs. But Hunter
rain boots. This was something that I think became really
popular last year. Correct me if I'm wrong, But I
feel like I saw a lot of girls on Pinterest

(23:18):
and a lot of girls on Instagram starting to style
like red Hunter boots or green Hunter boots with like
a cute fall outfit, and I just love the way
it looks like going apple picking with the cute little
Hunter boots, or you know, if you're the kind of
girl that likes to go to cottages on the weekend,
again whipping out the Hunter rain boots. Usually fall sometimes
has some rainy days, so it doesn't make sense to

(23:40):
have a good pair of rain boots. But I do
just love a colorful rain boot, like in a fun color.
I've been on the hunt to pick them up in
either red or green. I feel like they're always sold
out in my size whenever I want to order them.
But it's a very very cute boot and it's very practical.
You can also wear them in the spring, so I
just feel like a good pair of rain boots is needed,

(24:01):
and I personally do not own a pair. I used
to own a pair of the Black Hunter boots back
in high school and more than religiously, as I said,
but I got rid of them and now I'm like,
I need them again because I love the way it
looks so anyways, but that is something that I've been
loving for fall as well. This next one I get
so many DMS about because I wear them pretty consistently.

(24:23):
But I really love the Tortoise oval eyeglasses. So they're
actually blue light glasses that I wear whenever I'm editing
or on the computer or anything like that. And I
believe there were the mew Meu dupe. I think Meumeu
was the one. I'm sure you guys have heard of
that designer, but they were the original one that actually
I think started this trend, to be honest. And then
I saw Amazon starting to sell dupes, and then the

(24:45):
one I bought is from an actual eyeglass place called
Bonnie Clyde. But I've also seen a lot of eyeglass
or somenglass brands jump onto this trend and create their
own like Tortoise oval eyeglasses. I really like them. I
think blue light losses for everybody is pretty practical because
I'm assuming a lot of people do work on a
computer or work on their phones. Some of you may

(25:08):
actually need a prescription. Like my sister, she has a prescription,
so she gets the prescription in those glasses so she
can wear them. Just because it's such a cute style
on but really really love this. I think it's a
cute fashion piece but also very practical for someone who
works at an office and just like needs blue leg glasses,
and it just looks very again, very effortless, very cute,

(25:31):
and I just really love the overall style. Another thing
that I feel like I constantly love during the fall
season is slippers. I feel like I don't really wear
my slippers during the summer. I don't know why, but
soon as cozy season starts, I'm putting the slippers back on.
I'm getting comfortable in the house, I'm feeling cozy. The
slippers that I have, I think are from I want
to say our Den, maybe I love our Den. Our

(25:53):
Den is actually a really good place to find really
cute fall pieces if you're someone that's like more on
a budget. You need to check out our den. I'm
telling you right now, it's so so good. But a
good pair of cozy slippers just hits different in the fall. Obviously,
the brand UG has a lot of amazing slippers and
amazing quality as well, but yeah, slippers in the fall,

(26:14):
I just feel like hit different. Obviously, everybody needs to
be wearing a chunky knit sweater for the fall season.
I don't think this will ever go out of style.
Feel like every single year I'm gravitating towards the sweaters
that I've bought in years and years and years ago.
I feel like I still have a lot of pieces
from Aritzia that I bought in high school that I
still wear to this day that are just, you know,

(26:35):
really good chunky knit pieces. And that's why I feel
like it's worth paying the price for some of these
knit sweaters because I just think it's something that's never
going to go out of style. I do love these colors,
I would say for fall, when it comes to a
knit sweater, like a dark beige, a gray, a navy,
or like a burgundy, I feel like those are the
colors that I always try and stick to when I'm

(26:57):
obviously black or cream. I think that's also another basic
color that I feel like everybody needs. But it's a good,
you know, transitional piece going into the fall season, you
obviously always want to try and stick within a color
palette that's not too out there, you know what I mean. Like,
sticking with the basics like black, cream and beige is

(27:18):
obviously the best way to go. And gray, I love gray.
I feel like I wear gray so much because I
don't know, I just love the color gray. But yeah,
a chunky KNT sweater, I don't think we'll ever go
out of style, and I think it's always a must
for the fall season and just a fall trend that
I don't think will ever go away. Another trend I
love is pops of burgundy, So like ballet flats or

(27:39):
handbags or even accessories like sunglasses or headscarfs or whatever
the case may be, a burgundy red or a cherry
red with like a dark denim or like a white top.
Just the pops of red I think looks so cute
for the fall. And yeah, I just love cherry red.
I think it's just such a beautiful color and I
do think it's very flattering with a lot of fall outfits.

(28:02):
And then the last fashion item that I would say
is trending right now that I love is brown sneakers.
So the brand like Adidas or New Balance, they have
so many cute different styles of brown sneakers, Like there's
the brown Sambas, there's the New Balance sneakers. I think
they have a new dupe to a designer sneaker called

(28:23):
the Mewmu sneakers. It's like this dark brown sneaker. But
New Balance is now selling a pair that is very,
very similar to the Memu ones. I actually think it
was a New Balance and Mumu collab and basically what
they're doing is that they're taking the Meu Meu out
of it and just doing it as New Balance, and
it's way more affordable and it's very very cute. They

(28:45):
have like different colored laces that you can pair with
the sneakers, and it's just a very fun fall shoe
to own. So that's something that I think is very
cute for the fall season. So those would be like
the fall trends that I would say I'm currently upset
with when it comes to like fashion, are just things
that are going on, like nail colors, as I said,

(29:05):
and then you know, trying out different coffees all that.
When it comes to like an autumn bucket list, I
didn't think I would do an episode this year, just
because I feel like it's been pretty repetitive with the
same type of things. But things that I really love
to do that I feel like is something that everyone
should do for the fall season is creating a fall
playlist on Spotify, so finding songs that you think reflect

(29:27):
the season. I tend to lean towards like a lot
of country songs I find during the fall season, so
creating a little cozy fall playlist is really fun to do. Obviously,
I also love making comfort meals or baking. So comfort
meals to me are like making homemade tomato soup or
chicken noodle soup. I also love baking, so baking things

(29:49):
like you know, an apple pie, banana bread, pumpkin bread,
like pumpkin spice cookies. I actually made that the other
night with my sister and my girlfriend. We made these
pumpkin spice cooies which were incredible. It was so so good.
So just kind of like finding things that you know
taste like fall or just like a little thing to
do like baking or cooking just makes I don't know,

(30:12):
the fall more enjoyable as well. Another thing that I've
actually been wanting to attempt myself is making a chai
latte from home. I've gotten a few chai lattes from
like Starbucks and other coffee shops, but I've never actually
made it at the house. So maybe that's something that
I can attempt doing. I don't know if it's hard
or not, so don't hold me accountable for that, but
I will investigate and see if it's worth doing. But

(30:35):
I do love a good chi se latte. And then
obviously we're in the fall season, which means also football season,
so I feel like every Sunday, Zach's been having the
football games on in the house, and you know, we're
whipping out the crock pot, We're making crock pot dinners,
like doing just a lot of kind of like football
foods as well. So it definitely feels very cozy doing

(30:57):
that as well. But that's kind of been my September
in a nutshell. When it comes to things I've been
trying or trends that I've been loving. I've been doing
a lot of shopping obviously, because I feel like going
into new season. I always want to like not like
rebrand myself, but in a way kind of like revamp
my entire wardrobe and just kind of feel like a

(31:18):
new version of myself going into a new season. I
don't know, I think it's fun to do. I do
really enjoy it. I feel like everybody could use a
little bit of a confidence boost. It just always feels
good doing those little things that make you feel kind
of new again. So whether it's buying a few new
pieces for yourself for the fall season, or you know,
redoing your entire routine. So in the last episode, we

(31:39):
talked about creating a morning and night routine, so maybe
it's about evaluating your routine and making you feel, you know, new.
So for me, I've created a slower routine for myself
and just kind of unwinding, you know, at the night time.
So it's kind of nice just to kind of like
change things up a bit and not feel like you've
been doing the same thing over and over again. You know,
making a fall bucket list is always because it allows

(32:01):
you to have these things look forward to. It makes
things exciting, and honestly, I think people just need a
bit of a change when they go into a new season,
I think things just kind of feel a bit repetitive
and sometimes you just need a little bit of a
revamp when it comes to anything, as I said, clothing, routines,
whatever the case may be. So I definitely think just
doing a little revamp or rebrand for a new season

(32:21):
is always needed, and I think it allows you to
stay consistent and it allows you to look forward to
your weekends or days when you have fun things planned.
