Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
Hawtral Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
a new mindset, and another day. If you'd become the
Hawtrail Energy you want to a track. Hello you guys,
Welcome back to another episode. Today is most likely Thursday
because with vologmiss going on, I'm posting every second day

(00:36):
on Instagram and TikTok, along with obviously getting work things
done on top of doing stuff for the podcast. So
I apologize if this is up a day late, but
right now we're going in with the mindset of just
getting an episode up a week. So if it's a
daily or a few hours late, you know why. It's
because I'm literally running around like a wild woman, just
trying to get things submitted and things just up running

(01:00):
for my job. But I always feel good showing up
on the mic and talking with you guys, because obviously
it's something that I look forward to every single week.
We have a very exciting episode today because first off,
it's a new month. Happy December. Cannot believe we are
in the last month of twenty twenty five. We have
a lot of exciting episodes coming up this month. I
definitely love to talk a lot about our plans for

(01:22):
twenty twenty six and how we're going to end our
year off with reviewing our goals, reviewing the things that
we accomplish for ourselves to end off such an amazing year,
whether it's small goals or big goals. I think every
single year we walk away with something to be so
proud of and something that we did for ourselves or
something that we achieved. So definitely going to be a

(01:43):
lot of talking about reflecting from twenty twenty five things
we're going to be doing in twenty twenty six all that. So,
as you can see in today's episode, we are going
to be talking about glow up habits and rituals I'm
taking into twenty twenty six. And I actually have twenty
six things here that I list it off, all these
things that I either do daily or things that I

(02:04):
discovered this year that I'm obsessed with that I want
to keep doing throughout twenty twenty six because I truly
feel like these things that I do on a daily
basis have made me feel so good on the inside
and out When I do these things. I feel good
going into my day. I feel productive, my energy levels
are good. All that like just things that I really

(02:25):
try to strive to do every single day that when
I know I'm doing these things, I feel good mentally,
I look good physically, I just feel like my absolute
best self. And so there's going to be a lot
of these things that I've talked about obviously in previous episodes.
But the point is that this is like my ideal
list of the twenty six things that I'm taking into
twenty twenty six that you guys can reference if you

(02:47):
ever are in a funk or you need some motivation
when it comes to becoming that version of yourself that
you want to become. You have this episode to look
back at, listen kind of just remind yourself these things
to do to make yourself feel good, to make yourself
feel like you're that person that you've always wanted to become,
all that this version that you just really want to be.

(03:09):
So this is why we're gonna do this episode. It's
going to be the perfect episode to listen to to
look back on whenever you're feeling like you need the
motivation or boost of confidence to know that these little
things truly do make a huge impact in your day
to day life. So before we even get into talking
about the rituals and habits of going into twenty twenty six,
I want to give a little update on my end.

(03:30):
Lots of stuff going on with logmis obviously, so that's
been my main priority. If you guys didn't know, I
am doing vlogmis on TikTok and Instagram where I film
basically full day in the life from six am to
ten pm. I do every second day because if I
did every single day like that, it would definitely be
very difficult for me to manage other things. There are
some people that do it for all twenty five days,

(03:51):
but a lot of those people only manage one social
media account, whether it's just TikTok or Instagram, just YouTube,
or just have a podcast. Because I like to do
it all and I like to be active on all platforms,
I really take a step back and I realize, Okay,
what can I actually do that's still involved with vlogmiss.

(04:12):
But I'm not overdoing it and I'm not burning myself
out while trying to manage other things like the podcast YouTube.
You know, obviously, we have the house going on, which
has been a huge thing. That's been a huge time
consumer for us with designing this house. So I'm doing
twelve days of log miss where I post a full
vlog every second day and if you guys listen to
the last episode I mentioned it, but I do a

(04:33):
giveaway for every vlog miss where you have the chance
to win a gift card. So if you don't follow
me on social media and you want to enter the giveaway,
please make sure to follow me. I have my handles
in the description down below. So obviously that's been going on.
As I said the house update, we have foundation, which
is super exciting. I just posted a YouTube blog if

(04:54):
you want to go watch that there. I have a
live reaction of me actually seeing that we have foundation.
And I was not expect that at all. I went
with the intention of going to see the lot like
literally nothing was going to be done, like no progress whatsoever,
just because we're still so early on in the journey
that I just didn't think that we would have anything up.
I didn't think anything would be up honestly till January.

(05:16):
So that was a really nice surprise and I just
was so excited to see some progress and we have
a lot of deadlines coming up for this month for
the house along with January, so I do think these
next nine months are going to go by really fast.
But I'm very excited to share everything with you guys,
and I've been sharing little sneak peaks of what our

(05:36):
designers have done for certain rooms in the house. So yeah, again,
if you want to see some sneak peaks of the house,
it's all on my social media. I wanted to talk
about some December goals because I used to do monthly
goals where I would share with you guys things that
I'm making a priority this month or each month that
I go into and I feel like I haven't done
that in such a long time. And my December goals

(05:59):
are very different than goals that I've had in the past.
A lot of the goals that I typically do are
health related, but I kind of wanted to change it
up for this month specifically because I feel like December
is such a special month when it comes to the holidays. Obviously,
we try our best to spend as much time with
family and friends, and you know, maybe if you you know,

(06:20):
don't spend time with family, spending time with just people
who you truly care about, or just friends that you
might be super close with. I think it's so important
to be surrounded by people that you care for. And
this December, one of my main goals is to spend
as much time with friends, family, honestly just enjoying more
quality time with my husband. Zach and I were actually

(06:42):
talking about this last week, and we were just talking
about how we are both so work driven. And I
love that about Zach and I love that about myself,
is that we both are very work oriented. But sometimes
I think we kind of forget that we do also
have a relationship that we need to obviously make a priority.
And you know, so I feel like every relationship kind
of goes through funks where you kind of forget that, oh,

(07:05):
we should probably keep dating, or oh, we should probably
still do fun things together. Right. So Zach and I
had a bit of a conversation last week and we're like,
you know what, we need to go back on dates,
Like when was the last time we went on a date.
So we ended up going out for dinner last weekend
for the first time since like August. That sounds so bad,
but obviously he's been super busy with work, and we've
obviously been saving money for the house, so we've been
kind of avoiding, you know, going out for dinner and

(07:26):
all that. But we're like, you know what, we need
to get back into it, even if it's like dates
that don't involve like a heavy price tag, right, Like
it could be the smallest thing like going to the
movie theaters, going bowling, going mini putting, Like just think
of like the little things that could be fun to
do to get out of the house and all that.
I feel like when you live with someone, obviously, like yeah,
it's great you get to live with your partner or
your husband, like it's obviously the best, but things almost

(07:50):
feel very like repetitive because like you do the same
thing every night. You cook dinner together, you clean up,
you go to bed, and that's that. Like there's nothing
that's really spending quality time together, if that makes sense.
So we both wanted to make it a priority this
month to get back into dating, you know, spending time
with family, friends, doing fun things at home like building
a gingerbread house, watching Christmas movies together, all that. So

(08:12):
something that we're really making a priority this month is
spending more time with friends, family and quality time with
my husband. Another one is starting to plan out my
twenty twenty six vision board, my goals. What do I
kind of envision for my new year. So that's definitely
something that I want to start planning. Once Christmas is
over with December twenty sixth or twenty seventh, I'm going

(08:34):
to be on Pinterest, I'm going to be scrolling. I'm
going to start planning out things that I want to
achieve for myself for the new year. So that's something
I always try and make a priority in December. And
then my last December goal is really just focusing on
not burning out and overdoing it this month. This month
is always very busy for me, and I feel like
I always overdo it and then I kind of have
a bit of a crashout. So I really want to

(08:56):
make sure that I prioritize the little things that obviously
manage my stress levels, help with my anxiety, all that
taking time to do stretching, taking time to do a
little bit of meditation, like just finding ways to really
calm myself down, going for walks, like remembering to focus
on myself and not too much on the work overload

(09:17):
or whatever. So really just trying to focus on my
mental health this month, and yeah, that's kind of like
my December goals. If you haven't done goals for yourself
for the month, this is your reminder to do so,
even if it's just writing it out in your journal,
It's so important to do monthly goals, and I just
wanted to bring that back into today's episode as a
little reminder to set goals for yourself every single month. Okay,

(09:39):
so now let's get into the most exciting part of
this episode, which is talking about habits and rituals and
taking into twenty twenty six. So I've found twenty six
things that I've done consistently or things that I've discovered
this year that I truly feel like makes me feel
like the hottest version of myself. I feel good while

(10:00):
I'm doing it. It feels like it's the version that
I've always wanted to become. And I feel like doing
these things, either daily or weekly or monthly, has truly
made me feel like the best version of myself. The
first one being putting on makeup and dressing cute for
myself every single day. This is something that I've talked
about many, many times, especially in episodes when it comes
to like the winter uglies, or just wanting to have

(10:22):
a mini glow up or just feel good about yourself.
It is amazing how good you feel every single day
when you actually put a little bit of effort in yourself.
I feel like the days where I feel really low
and just like not myself. It's usually the days where
I'm still in my pajamas all day, I haven't done
my skincare, I haven't done my makeup. I literally feel

(10:42):
like I look like a beg of shit, like not
gonna lie. Those are days where I don't feel motivated.
I don't want to do anything in the house. I
just want to curl up on the couch and do nothing.
But when I actually force myself to go take a shower,
do a little bit of skincare, put literally the smallest
amount of makeup on. I'm talking like a little bit
of concealer, a little bit of a a little bit
of blush, put some lipliner on, add a little bit

(11:03):
of a lip gloss, and you're good. I don't wear muscara,
I don't wear foundation. I literally do the most minimal makeup.
But I feel so confident in myself when I do
put the effort of putting on that little bit of
makeup and then obviously putting on a cute set, whether
it's a matching workout set or a matching sweat set,
or again putting on a pair of genes with a

(11:24):
white basic tea. Like literally as simple as that. But
I feel good going into my day and I feel
more productive when I actually put the effort in myself
because I feel good, I feel like I look good,
I feel more confident. So it's a small little thing,
but that's one thing that I feel like has made
a huge difference in my year is actually putting in
the effort every single day of doing those little things

(11:45):
to make me feel good about myself. Another thing that
has changed my life, and this is something I've taken
into many years, which is waking up early and actually
focusing on myself before I start my work day. If
you are not a morning person, maybe this is your
sign to be come one. I truly feel like the
mornings are the most crucial part of your day. Spending

(12:06):
an hour, two hours, thirty minutes. It doesn't really matter
finding any time in your morning to do whether it's
one thing or two things. For yourself where you feel
like you've started your day in a great way. I
personally feel like the way you start your day is
the way that your day's going to go. It could
be making your bed, it could be dedicating ten minutes

(12:27):
every single morning to meditation. It could be reading a
few pages in your book before you start your day.
Whatever makes you feel good that you did before you
started your day. You consistently do that for a week,
you're gonna feel so much better about yourself. You're gonna
feel so good going into each day. So I talk
about it so many times about how I think mornings

(12:48):
are so crucial to have a morning routine, to actually
focus on doing the little things that make you feel
really good before you start your day. Maybe you're the
kind of person that doesn't like to work out in
the morning, that's so fine, But there's other things that
you can do in the morning to set yourself up
for success. Whether it's journaling, planning, like, there's so many
little things that you could do in your morning that
doesn't involve working out. It could be going on a walk,

(13:11):
a ten minute walk, like literally, it could be the
smallest things, but all those things that you're doing before
you start your work day. As I said, it could
be one to two things. It doesn't really matter. You're
still doing that for yourself, and you're doing that before
you start your work day. So this is your sign
to maybe wake up thirty minutes earlier than you typically would,
focusing on things that make you feel good about yourself
before starting your workday. This one kind of goes hand

(13:32):
in hand with the one I just talked about, which
is obviously waking up early and doing little things that
make you feel good before you start your work day.
But I feel like making my bed every single morning
has changed my life. Like I'm not even over exaggerating.
I feel like I feel clean, I feel organized when
I make my bed every single morning. My husband looks
at me like I'm crazy. Sunday morning, I'm like, okay,

(13:55):
get get your bed out of bed, like I'm making
the bed, and he's like, what if I'm gone on
a train and I come home after a week, is
my bed made? Absolutely not. My husband does not make
the bed. I get upset because I'm like, why didn't
you make the bed? Like it takes five minutes to
literally make the bed, And I'm telling you right now
I've heard Mel Robbins talk about this so many times

(14:15):
on our podcast episode. But making your bed is the
smallest task, but it's one thing that you could do
every single morning that makes you feel like you started
your day in the right way. My mindset immediately makes
me feel like, Okay, I made my bed, I'm already
feeling productive. I'm putting in the effort to make my
space feel organized and clean. Sometimes we'll even spend like

(14:36):
ten minutes in the morning after I make my bed,
I put on my workout clothes five ten minutes before
Pilate's class. Sometimes I'll even just do a quick tidy up,
like making sure the house is all set to go,
you know, putting away dishes that we wash maybe the
night before, Like making sure the house is all tidy.
That way, I don't have to worry about it later
in the day. I feel like it just gives good
energy going into my day when I feel like my

(14:57):
space is organized and when my bed is made. So
it's a small little task, but I do think it
makes a huge difference going into my day. Another thing
that I love that I'm taking into twenty twenty six
is daily ice rolling. I loved ice roll my face.
You could order something from Amazon for literally twelve dollars.
It's not expensive, but I don't like to do the

(15:17):
whole like dip your face in ice water. That's not
for me. I've also heard mixed reviews about that, where
people are saying that it's not really the best for
your skin, like putting your face on direct ice cubes.
But I will say that if you get an ice roller,
you take it out of the fraser five minutes before
you use it. I usually like to rub it on
my hand before I apply it to my face, just
so that it's a little bit warmer, because obviously it's

(15:39):
pretty cold. But I feel like my face has looked
so much more defined, and it deep puffs so much.
Because when you wake up early, or when you wake
up in general, when you're sleeping obviously for like seven
eight hours or nine hours, however long you sleep, you
feel a little swollen. Sometimes I don't know about you guys,
but sometimes I wake up and my eyes are a
little puffy, my cheeks are just looking a little swollen.

(16:01):
So I find when I do an ice roll every
single day, I just feel like it literally depuffs my
face immediately and the bonus to it if you do
wake up early. I feel like it kind of wakes
me up because obviously cold compress on your face is
going to wake you up. So I love doing this.
I do this every single day. I love it so much.
But again, this is something that you can get on
Amazon for like twelve bucks. It's not expensive, but it's

(16:23):
just a daily habit that I truly love that I
will be taking into twenty twenty six. All Right, this
next one, you guys are gonna be like Kaylee. You
talk about this all the time. We get it. It
is so good for you. Blah blah blah. Okay, Yes,
walking eight to ten thousand steps a day has changed
my life. I will say it is truly the best
feeling ever when you actually hit your step goal for
the day. Too. But I've always been that kind of

(16:45):
person growing up where I felt like I always had
to do intense cardio always, So I always felt like
I had to go on a treadmill and sprint for
ten minutes, or go on a spinning bike and spin
for an hour. I will not lie. I hate intense cardio.
I did it because I thought I had to do it.
I thought Okay, Well, if I want to feel my

(17:06):
absolute best self, I need to sweat my butt off
and do these really high intense workouts. These past two years,
I've discovered how important walking is and how walking can
be your cardio throughout the week, and I personally feel
like walking has just been the best way to clear
my mind to get outside. It's truly a free therapy

(17:29):
session in my opinion, like literally just walking outside listening
to a podcast, like right there and then I'm already
feeling so much better going into my day knowing that
I've gotten fresh air, I've gotten to walk in all that.
I used to be a spin co girly Okay, loved
my spinning classes. Recently, I haven't been loving it. I
don't know why I've stepped away from it. I have
only done pilates and strength workouts at home for like

(17:50):
the past two to three months. I would say, but
I would say spinning is considered a hit workout. Obviously,
it's a cardio session. You're pushing through it for an hour,
And I would just say these past six months, I
was just not feeling it anymore. I just felt like
I was forcing myself to go just to get a
cardio session in it wasn't something that fulfilled me, and
walking was something that I feel like this year specifically

(18:13):
really transformed how I felt about walking. I got a
walking pad, you know. I spend thirty minutes daily going
on it, sometimes an hour. Sometimes I'll do two different
thirty minute times, Like I'll do a thirty minute walk
in the morning at thirty minute walk in the afternoon.
Like it really allows me just to destress, take my
mind off of things, just walking, relaxing again, still getting

(18:35):
a bit of cardio in. But yeah, walking has changed
my life. I'm telling you right now, if you're not walking,
get on a treadmill and walk. It is life changing,
and it's cardio. It's the easiest way to get cardio in.
And I feel so good doing it, and I don't
feel the stress of doing you know, a hit workout
or a hit cardio session. I feel like walking is
the best form of movement for literally anything, and anyone

(18:59):
can do it so easy and you feel good doing it.
Another habit that I love that I'll be taking into
twenty twenty six is doing workouts that actually make me
feel good and things that'll actually stick to because if
you start working out at a plate studio and you
hate pilates, please stop it. Do not do it if
you don't love it. You want to wake up every

(19:19):
single morning, or you want to wake up every single
day going into your workout class and actually enjoying it.
You want to say that you love what you're doing,
you love the movement, you love the way you feel.
If you don't love the workout, you're not going to
be consistent with it. You're not going to have a
routine for yourself to do on a daily basis. So
this is your sign to maybe try different workout classes out,
try different things. So if you're not loving what you're doing,

(19:41):
currently find something that you'll love. Because when you love
a workout so much, that's when you're actually consistent with
it and you're actually motivated throughout the week to do it.
I get so many questions asking how do you do it?
How are you always feel motivated? And obviously I have
my days where I don't feel motivated, But the one
thing that keeps me going is knowing I wake up
every single morning, I do the workout that I truly

(20:03):
enjoy and that I truly love, and I can go
into each day, knowing that I feel good about what
I did, Like I don't think about it all day,
thinking like, oh, I hated that workout class. I wasn't
enjoying it, and then guess what, I'm probably not going
to go the next week because I didn't enjoy it.
When you actually enjoy it, you're motivated to book the class,
you want to go again, you want to pay for
a membership. You start meeting friends, you start getting close

(20:25):
with the instructors, you start loving the community that you're in,
like it's an environment that you'll actually enjoy going to,
and you'll feel motivated to go because you actually enjoy
the people you're surrounded with, the workout that you're doing.
I don't know. I don't explain it, but I feel
like that is the best way to describe it. Is
when you create a workout routine for yourself and you

(20:45):
go to workout classes that you actually enjoy, you'll actually
stick to it and you'll actually achieve your goals. So
that's that. Another thing is taking supplements that support my
gut and overall health. I think this is something that
some people skip out on, and I think it makes
a huge difference in your mindset and how you feel.
I personally feel like since I started taking a prebiotic

(21:05):
and probiotic every single day along with some colostrum, I
feel like I've been so good mentally, I feel again
like I have more energy. I feel like, I don't know,
like I go into my day with a better mindset
knowing that I'm taking these supplements to better my health.
And the gut plays such an important role in so

(21:27):
many ways, in your skin, in your hair, like everything
is related to our immune system, So you know, I
think putting your gut first is a huge priority, so
finding ways to support it, like taking supplements, talking to
your doctor. I just had a doctor's appointment yesterday. I
literally brought my supplements in because I'm like, I want
you to tell me that I'm doing the right thing,

(21:47):
Like are these things good for my body? Should I
stop taking it? Am I okay to take this if
I ever do get pregnant? All those questions that I
was just asking her, and she's like, no, taking a
probiotic and probiotic is incredible. It is so so good
for you, and she thinks everybody should be taking that.
And then colostrum is a new thing that she actually
has never heard of, and she was like really impressed

(22:09):
that I actually had that. So anyways, but she's like,
you know, it's so important to make your gut a
huge priority when it comes to your health. So taking
supplements consistently I feel like has been a huge game
changer for me. And yeah, I just think it's so
important to focus on your gut health along with obviously
your overall health. Next one is having a consistent skincare routine.

(22:30):
I think the key to clear skin is using the
same products, keeping your skincare routine very basic. You don't
need eight products to put on your face. I feel
like when I use four or five products, literally that's it.
I cream, moisturizer. I usually use the milk glazing, which
is kind of like an essence kream. I don't know

(22:51):
if I said that. And then sunscreen, like I literally
don't do much. I do not do any retinol. I
do not do any tip of like acid, you know,
on my face. I don't know even know what it's
called hyaluronic acid or wherever it is. I feel like
that just doesn't work for me. I do a retinal
actually that's a lot. I do a retinal in my
nighttime routine once a week. That's it. I don't do
it more than that because my face just doesn't react

(23:14):
well to retinal. But I try and do it very minimal,
like a very minimal skin carroutine, and I feel like
that's what works for me. But just having a consistent
skin care routine in general, I think makes a huge
difference in your skin. Your skin will thank you, and
I do think that plays a huge impact on your
clear skin. So having a consistent skin care routine I
think makes a huge difference when you're actually obviously consistent

(23:36):
with it, And I feel like using the same products
makes a huge difference as well. This is a new
one for me this year, and wow, am I obsessed
with it. Magnesium before Ben Wow, Wow Wow. I cannot
explain to you how this has changed my life. Like
I feel so much more well rested while I'm sleeping.
When I wake up in the morning, I'm up, like

(23:58):
I am up and atom I am ready to take
on the day. I feel like my sleeps have just
been so much better since I started taking magnesium. On
top of that, if you're someone like me, that works
out pretty consistently, Okay, my muscles have not felt as
sore because of me taking this every single night. Like,
I don't know why I took so long to take magnesium,

(24:21):
but wow, wow, wow, it has changed my life. I
was talking to my doctor about it yesterday and she's like, no,
this is literally everybody needs to take magnesium like it
is life changing. I don't know why I didn't start
doing this before. I'm so mad at myself because I
feel like this has just been such a game changer
in my mood and energy and everything since I started
taking it. But obviously, again, any tip the supplements who

(24:42):
take chat to your doctor about it. As I said,
I literally brought all my supplements to my doctor's appointment
to make sure that everything I was taking was okay.
But magnesium is so so good, and I feel like
it's been a huge game changer for me specifically. This
is another great one that I will definitely be taking
into twenty twenty six is positive self talk. You have
no idea how many times my husband will catch me

(25:03):
talking to myself, Like, not in a creepy way at all,
but if I'm in a negative headspace, I will literally
whisper to myself and talk myself out of that negative headspace,
and I truly feel like having positive self talk really
does like take your mind off of those things that
you were thinking about before that put you in that
negative head space. Like really saying those positive things and

(25:25):
putting just a positive aspect into your mind, you see
things so differently and you feel so much better about yourself,
about the situation, everything. When it comes to anything, talking
to yourself in a positive way is so so crucial,
So especially if you're someone that may have a bit
of mental health issues. I go through, you know, periods

(25:46):
of really high stress or anxiety. I feel like when
I talk to myself in a positive way and I
say positive things to myself, I just feel like I
feel like a whole new person and I feel better
about myself, I feel better about the situation all that.
So really focusing on practicing positive self talk, I think
is crucial. Okay, this is something that I actually haven't
talked about yet, But since September, I have not really

(26:10):
had alcohol at all. I think I've had maybe two drinks. Yeah,
two drinks. I think I've had two drinks. For one
was at a spa and then the other was at
a dinner, that is it. Like I literally have not
had any alcohol since. I do think cutting out alcohol

(26:31):
has been a huge thing for my mental health and
how I felt. And again, I've always been the kind
of person where all of a balance, Like I've always
been like, you know, odd time, I'll have my drinks whatever,
But there has just been something that I I don't
want it anymore, Like I just I don't crave it,
Like I would rather order a mocktail than order an

(26:54):
alcoholic beverage. And I feel like restaurants have been making
that so much more of a you know, common thing
that people do. Like I feel like it's so common
to see mocktails on restaurants menus and all that, and
I've just been a mocktail girly and I feel like
I've really been embracing that. But I don't know, I
just like haven't had the need to have a glass

(27:17):
of alcohol. But I do think it's actually improved my life.
Like I do think it's been a huge thing for
me mentally, I've been feeling really good. And again, alcohol
is not for everyone, and sometimes if you think it's
best for yourself to not have it, that's okay too.
So I feel like, as long as you're with people
that fully support it or you know, people obviously don't

(27:38):
care if you drink or not. I think it's important
to be in friendships that people will support your decision
and understand your decision as to why you're not drinking.
But that's kind of what's been going on. I guess
for me is yeah, being a mocktail girly. Something else
that I'm taking into twenty twenty six that I feel
like has been a huge game changer for me in
twenty twenty five is brain dumping everything. Any idea that

(28:03):
comes to my head, anything that I've visualized or things
that I want for myself in life. I will always
either write it in the notes in my phone, take
a screenshot of something that I visually like, go in
my journal, write out something that I specifically visualize for
myself in the future. It is so important to constantly
brain dump every single day because let's be honest, there's

(28:24):
ideas coming in your head all the time. If you
don't write it down in that moment, you will forget.
You will. So doing a brain dump every single day
I think is so so important. This is why I
go on Pinterest daily because I think Pinterest is the
most amazing app. You're constantly visualizing things for yourself that
you envision for yourself, your future, your goals. It makes

(28:45):
you think of ideas that you may have never thought
of that you want for yourself. Just constantly visualizing your
dream in life, your dream goals, the version that you
want to become. It's just so so important to constantly
find ways to write things out that you're thinking in
that exact moment, and it just kind of like structures
out how you want your life to look like, if

(29:07):
that makes sense. So yeah, I think it's important too obviously,
write daily goals, write weekly goals, and write anything that
comes to your mind that you are passionate about or
things that you see for yourself. Another thing that I've
done this year that I got back into that I
want to take into twenty twenty six is meal prepping.
I kind of chatted about this in a video a
few weeks ago about how I'm like ninety percent sure

(29:30):
that I was under eating and not even realizing it
because ever since I started to meal prep, the energy
that I feel throughout my day versus having a small
little lunch or a small little snack plate. I feel
so so much better actually eating a full meal and
going into my day with enough energy till my dinner.
And it sounds so bad because lunch was always that

(29:53):
kind of meal for me where I'm like, oh, I'll
just skip it, or oh, I'll just make something quick
because you know, I just never knew what to make.
You know, I work from home, so I'm kind of like, oh,
I don't need to make a big meal. I can
just have a big dinner, a big breakfast, small lunch, whatever.
Ever since I started meal prepping and actually making a
meal for four days, four to five days is usually
how long it lasts me. I used to hate eating

(30:14):
the same thing every single day, but I've actually started
to find recipes now that I really do enjoy, and
I actually enjoy eating every single day, and I just
have so much more energy. I'm seeing food as fuel,
and I just never really realized how much our bodies
really needed full meals to be fully transparent. Like I
thought I could survive off of either skipping lunch or

(30:35):
you know, having a small meal. But ever since actually
eating a full balance lunch, my energy levels and productivity
levels have just been so much better. So that's just
coming from experience from someone who was like literally under
eating for the first half of this year, and then
I started meal prepping this summer and then I feel
like everything changed for me, like energy wise, productive level wise,

(30:56):
like everything. And I truly do think it's because I'm
actually eating a well balanced lunch for skipping out on
the meal. Okay, this next one is very much a
girly thing to do, but actually putting in the effort
of doing in everything, shower once a week and doing
a blowout makes you feel so much better. Like I
love blowing out my hair once a week. I love

(31:17):
doing a little bit of makeup, you know, putting on
a cute outfit, having my hair fully blown out, and
I feel good about myself. And you know what, every
time I actually do that, now that I think about it,
my husband usually compliments me. He's like, oh, you look
nice today, because usually I have my hair up in
a ponytail. You know, I have very minimal makeup on,
I have a cozy outfit on. Again because I work
from home, I still like to put a little effort
in myself. As I said, still look put together. But

(31:40):
you know, my hair is not really done. I don't
really care what I look like whatever. When I actually
do my weekly blowout and I like put the effort
of my hair, my husband will always say something and
I do find it funny because again, it's just putting
in that effort every week to like do something for yourself.
And let's be honest, having your hair freshly blown out,
it's truly the best feeling. It's a girl feeling that
no guy I would ever understand is having a freshly

(32:02):
washed blowout, and just like you want to leave the house,
You want to get out, you want to go out
for dinner, you want to see the girls. Like I
don't know how to explain it, but like I feel
like when my hair is freshly done, I'm feeling good
and I want to leave the house. Another one is
planning out your day before the next day. I always
always talk about this, but having a little to do

(32:23):
list of knowing everything that you have to do the
following day makes you feel already going into your day,
like you know what's about to happen and you're ready
to be productive and you have all this shit that
you need to get done. Like planning things out makes
your life so much easier. It's such a small task. Again,
could be in your notes on your phone, could be
in your journal, but writing out everything that you need
to do the next day just makes yourself feel so

(32:45):
much more organized. You know exactly what you need to do.
You don't need to stress about forgetting something or if
you had an appointment that you forgot about. Like if
you prep everything the day before, you'll know what you
need to do going into the next day. So it's
a very small task, but it does make a huge
difference going into your day and going into your week.
Another one is daily gratitude. It's so crucial to be

(33:09):
grateful every single day for the light that you've created
for yourself, the people that you're surrounded by, your parents,
your loved one, your sister, your life, everything, Like, it's
so so important to be grateful for things that God
has given you. I feel like I've definitely leaned into
my faith a bit this year and definitely like realize

(33:29):
how appreciated I am for the life that God has
given me. And when you're thankful for things that have
come into your life, I do think more good things
come to you. And just yeah, practicing daily gratitude I
think really makes a huge difference in your mindset, how
you feel about life, how you see life, and just
makes you realize how grateful you are to be able

(33:51):
to do the little things like moving your body, your health,
the people that you surround yourself with all that. Oh,
this is another one that I feel like I've grown
so much this year You're in and that is saying
no to plans without having to over explain why if
I don't want to go out, I am okay with
saying I'm not going out like I feel like last

(34:12):
year I would have felt forced like, oh, I need
to get out of the house though I need to
see people whatever. If I don't want to go, then
I'm not going. I definitely don't have FOMA anymore. I
truly enjoy the times that I have here at the
house with my husband, with my dog. If I want
to go out, though, I'm going to go out. If
I don't want to go out though, and I don't

(34:33):
want to do whatever my friends are doing, I'm okay
with not having to explain why I'm not going. I'll
just be like, hey, can't make it, but thanks for
thinking of me, you know what I mean? Like I
don't care. Like, at the end of the day, it's
so important to just say yes things you actually want
to do, because then at least you're there and you
feel good about your decision. You're not there because you
felt like you forced yourself to go right. So I

(34:53):
don't know, I feel like saying no is okay and
I don't have an issue with anymore. And when I
do say yes, it's to things that I actually want
to go to. This is another thing that I talk
about all the time. But something else I want to
take into twenty twenty six is really just continuing to
romanticize the little things in my life. When it's you know,
making my coffee, lighting a candle, drinking out of a

(35:15):
fancy glass. Maybe it's buying yourself flowers, putting flowers in
the house. Maybe it's wearing a matching set. Maybe it's
drinking water out of a wine glass. It could also
be putting on music while you're cleaning. Like doing the
basic things in your life, but making it a little
bit better by romanticizing it, by making it just a
little bit more elevated. You feel so so much better

(35:37):
about how your little life is. And yeah, just spending
the time to actually romanticize it and make it feel
a little bit more elevated. Is something that just makes
you feel very classy. Another thing for twenty twenty six
that I think is a non negotiable is habit stacking,
doing multiple things at once. It is truly going to
be your best friend if you're able to do two

(35:58):
things at once, whether it's driving in the car and
listening to a podcast or walking on the treadmill and
reading a book. Like, there's so many things that you
could think about that you could do two things at once,
but habit stacking is so crucial. I think it's been
a huge game changer for me going into twenty twenty five.
I love doing this and it's definitely been easier to
obviously get everything that I want to get done in

(36:20):
a short period of time, Like in my morning routine,
I'll habit stack. I think it just is a huge
game changer and is great for people who maybe have
a early start to work. If you can do multiple
things at once early in the morning to get everything
that you want to get done before you start your day.
I think habit stacking is key. Okay, we have five
more things here, but laying out your clothes before the

(36:43):
next day. I don't need to explain that, but I
do think having your clothes all set and ready is
another thing, kind of like when it comes to making
your bed every single morning, it's just kind of like
a daily habit that's easy to have all set and done.
Every time before you go to bed, you grab the
clothes that you're going to wear. It makes things fast efficient,
you don't need to think about it. You know exactly
what you're gonna be wearing the next day. So I
feel like that's the key to starting your day off,

(37:05):
is knowing everything that you're gonna wear that day. Another
thing is regular stretching and being more mindful about wanting
to relax. So finding ways like listening to meditation, taking
ten minutes out of your night to stretch and just destress,
and just actually being intentional and forcing yourself to relax,
I think is so so crucial, especially for people who

(37:25):
might be constantly working out or in a job that
keeps you on your toes and you're on your feet
all the time. Like, actually spending the time to stretch
and relax before you head to bed is super super crucial.
Another thing is consuming content or TV shows that actually
fulfill you. I get caught so many times watching things
on social media that have no purpose at all or

(37:47):
has spiked my anxiety or has spiked my stress. And
now I've been really intentional with things that I watch
and things that I actually want to consume on social media,
especially when it comes to TV shows. I talked about
this and my most YouTube video, but I feel like
watching old TV shows have broughten so much light into
my mind, and like watching things that I watched as

(38:07):
a teenager and almost TV shows that I would consider
my comfort shows have brought me so much joy, And
I don't know, I feel like I just feel better
mentally when I'm watching comfort shows and watching things that
I watched in my teens, and I'm consuming things that
I actually want to consume. So being really intentional of
what you want to watch on social media or what

(38:29):
you want to watch in a TV show, I think
plays a huge impact in your mind, your mindset, and
how you go into your day to day. Another one
is having coffee after breakfast. We've definitely talked about this
in the past, but your cholesterols definitely spike when you
drink coffee before breakfast or just on an empty stomach
in general. So this is your sign to eat a banana,

(38:51):
eat a granola bar. It could be the smallest thing,
but just having your coffee after breakfast will be a
huge game changer for yourself. And again, it really helps
with your energy levels, it helps manage your anxiety. I
feel like when I have a coffee on an empty stomach,
my anxiety literally spikes immediately. So I always make sure
to eat something before I have my coffee. And it's
just something that's been a regular thing for me now

(39:14):
and I feel like it just has been a huge
impact in my day to day life. I'm a big
girly girl, as you guys know, so for me, monthly
beauty appointments is a non negotiable. Getting my nails done,
getting my eyebrows done, getting the odd spray tands. Sometimes
I feel so much more put together when I do
these appointments. And I know it's not for everybody, but
I do feel really good when I get a manny petty,

(39:35):
when I get my eyebrows wax, when my hair is
freshly blown out. It's the little things, but I do
think it makes a huge difference in how I feel
and how I want to see myself, Like, I just
feel good when I do those little appointments, and I
just feel a lot more put together. And the last
one that I wrote was eating at home eighty percent
of the time, home cooked meals over takeout. Obviously having

(39:58):
the odd takeout meal on the weekend or going out
for dinner, whatever the case may be. But I do
think eating at home and having home cooked meals plays
a huge impact how you feel your mood everything. Obviously,
cooking everything yourself, you know exactly what's going in the food.
Obviously it's a healthier lifestyle choice as well when you're
eating home cooked meals. And I don't know, I just

(40:18):
feel like you feel good when you actually make a
home cooked meal versus ordering takeout every single night. But
those are the twenty six things that I'm taking into
twenty twenty six that I think are non negotiables for
me that have either changed my life or have made
such a huge positive impact in my day to day life.
So I hope this episode was inspiring for you or

(40:40):
it's almost like a reminder to do these little things
that allow yourself to make you feel like you're the
best version of yourself or you feel good when you're
doing these things and actually being consistent with it makes
a huge, huge difference in your day to day life.
But I'm going to end this episode off here. I
love you guys also much. I hope you guys enjoyed
the start of the twenty twenty six episodes for December.

(41:04):
Really just gearing up for the new year ahead. But
I love you guys allso much. Thank you guys for listening,
and I will see you guys in next week's episode.
