that was just a little bit just college students. Dude, Okay,
all right, we don't have to yeah yeah. But anyway,

(04:29):
So the reason.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Why I'll do that in confidence, I mean the secret service.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
The reason I wanted to bring this dude on is because,
you know, he and I pretty much bonded over, you know,
geeking out on CONTs and old cartoons and stuff like that,
just the way you you guys do with me, and
I just figured it could be a fun uh uh
contributor to uh to what we would will be discussing.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
I feel like your mic check your mic source, because
I hear a lot of echo. I feel like it's
coming from a different mic.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Do I not have it on? Use your er, everybody.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
It's okay, it's Ryan's first day.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Everyone, but we do start off every with an all
alcoholic memory of some sort.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
We'll start off with, well, and Ryan, what is this better? No?

Speaker 7 (05:15):
Ricky? Uh? Well, last week I talked about how I
was trying to to just stop drinking alcohol for the
month of January to give my body a break because
I've been drinking a lot happen and then uh, five
days into it or six days into it, the world
went to ship again. So I'm drinking again.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Triple I p A. Oh big dog, hello that this.

Speaker 7 (05:43):
Is a triple I p A. It is ten ten
point three percent and it's delicious.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
It's just a regular triple. It's not like a hazy
or anything like that is.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Any it is hazy a if.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Oh dang, fancy mm hmm, I like that all right? Uh, Ryan, Robert,
what are you guys drinking? Are you guys drinking the
same thing?

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Oh? No, no, but o g stuff. Man Robs over
there with the do sekis.

Speaker 7 (06:14):
No, but just leave it. Why don't you say.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
It sound echoe? Hold on?

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah, like it sounds like from a different source and
not you're the mic in front of you.

Speaker 7 (06:23):
How about.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Huh?

Speaker 4 (06:27):
How about now at the time? What I don't know,
but just tell me drinking and then then work on it.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Well, here I'm drinking a I found well, the the
sculp and you know, a Loha skulp and it's the
hazy one.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
So I found this down the street and I just
grab this.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I hadn't have a I haven't had a sculpin in
a long time.

Speaker 8 (06:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
I found this at my local craft beer store.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
I know it's a little late, obviously being January, but
this is the brewery portrait in a pear tree.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Belgian style quad brewed with.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
Spices, is what it say.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Anyone that has followed the show for any little bit
or just knows me, knows that I love Belgian beer.
Quads are actually the first Belgian that I can remember
having because I actually worked at a place called Quadrupelle,
and this one specifically is eleven point three percent alcohol.
So no especially, I'm also drinking less too.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I'm not not. I didn't stop drinking, obviously, but I've.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Had a lot less alcohol in the eleven twelve days
of twenty twenty one than any twelve days of twenty
twenty that's for damn sure. I'm also let's see, I
gotta open this baby up and then I'll choose you guys.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
All right, all right, cool, cool, okay, Hello, Hello, how's this?

Speaker 7 (07:55):
That's better?

Speaker 5 (07:56):
That sounds better. Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I think it's just because his mic was too hot,
because he was too far away from it.

Speaker 7 (08:03):
It's all good. It's all Ryan's fault.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
That's good though.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Now we're good, perfect, We're all fine here. Now, how
are you good?

Speaker 5 (08:15):
I'm great?

Speaker 7 (08:16):
All right, cheers.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
Boys, Hey, cheers man, and to the.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Audience that are drinking with us, we salute you as well. Cheers.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
Oh ship jee, suck me in the ass. That's good. Okay,
got anither way there.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Okay, it's been a while since I've been surprised by
a beer, and the entire time we've had a podcast
and every single time someone says a while we go there,
every single time.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I still don't have that as a sound drop. I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
I saw I saw a meme about it, and I
forgot to send it to you guys, but it was.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Get to you on Facebook. But yeah, it was.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
It was like a picture was his name, Aaron Lewis,
and it said every time. Every time, it's like, how
long have you done this? It's like it's been a
while my brain.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
It's a picture.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
You cannot uh, every A lot of beers that I've
had from the brewery, not been a big fan. This
one's really good from the brewery, the one in La
It's called the brewery. Yeahs back, I'm not gonna well,
yeah whatever.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Tradition and innovation, consider this the learned and we innovated
by staying the course inspired the rich and welcoming flavors
of certain pair, dessert of a certain pair, desert. This
quadrupille hell sings traditionally familiar notes of dark sugar, caramel,
and spice.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Season of seasons is meant to be shared over special
occasions with family and friends, and I consider this a
special occasion.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
So I didn't tell the show to drink it every.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
Tuesday is a special occasion.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I agree, I like it. You are right, Ryan, So
I got, I got. I got accidentally hammered. Yesterday.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
I accidentally drunk a whole keg of beer.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Yeah, I really didn't.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
I didn't expect to, but like it was like, uh,
and I didn't realize how long I had been drinking
for too. It's like because because convinced my my other roommate.
He was like, oh, I'm going to run some errands
and then uh and the I'm gonna head overdue to
the Bell, which is this little dive bard on the street,
and I go and I was like, h stinking about

(10:48):
taking a walk over there. Later he's like, well, I'll
pick you up. I'm all way back. I'm like all right,
but and he was like out and gone for like
maybe fifteen twenty minutes and he came right back picked
me up. And so we were at like three the
afternoon and then I saw you there at like.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
Dude, I got there. I think it was like a
little bit before six.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeah, and I was already pretty buzzed buzz and then
and then uh, and they have they have that voodoo
hazy ranger Hazy Voodoo Ranger. It's like seven point eight,
you were telling me. And I don't know why I
decided to have those at the end of the night,
because because by the time I was done with.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Like the last and I was like, fuck, I'm fucked up.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Hazy Voodoo Rangers are one of my favorite I think
me one of my favorite beers that you can find
most places, like the routs, local routes right here, they
always have the Vooto Rangers and stuff.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, so that's why I didn't buy those that I
saw him at the liquor start too, and I was like,
I don't know these are good, but yeah, So I
fucking stumbled home last night and drunkly made some fish
and chips, and.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
To me, he's like, I don't remember the walk. I
remember the walk.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
I just I just remember drunkenly making food at like
and then I was like, man, it must be late,
like ten o'clock, like.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Frozen fish and chips. So you're like, I'm going to
be a chef right now and start batting chips.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
But I didn't have tartar sauce, So then I thought
I was like such a chef. I don't know if
you saw my my story. But I didn't even remember
making that, but I was so drunk. I just I
was like, how do you make tartar sauce? So I
just like googled it and then I went into my
friends and I made my own tartar sauce.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Came up pretty damn good.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
I also made a wonderful like lemonaeoli that that paired
so well with it.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
And now I'm a chef.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
So yeah, yeah, it was funny. It made it reality
because you posted it. They did.

Speaker 7 (12:52):
Yes, it happened.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
It happened. Yes, yes, that's awesome. That's good night, don't
it was nobody.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
And then I passed out. I passed out at eleven.
And then I woke up at five a m. Like
a fucking.

Speaker 5 (13:07):
Normal person, wake up.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
I don't know. I just well, you know what I don't.
I still don't have a bed. And now that I
got paid, and that's what happened, was, oh, that's what happened.
As I checked, I checked, and I noticed that I
got paid. So I went I went straight to pay
all the fucking bills that I hadn't paid, and I
ordered some ship and then uh and so so I
just ended up staying up and kind of like I
made some food and then like paid some bills and

(13:35):
ordered some ship on Amazon that I needed, and and
then I and then contemplated ordering a bed, which I
think I'm gonna do next.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Are you still on an air mattress?

Speaker 5 (13:44):
An air mattress?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
And it's really and I'm starting to realize that that's
why I'm fucking having such a hard time sleep and
it's I can't sleep on that thing.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Man into your bed? You just decided you probably.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
I'm a fucking nice guy, and I gave it to
my sister.

Speaker 9 (13:58):
Oh well, now you fucked up. Yeah, I know, I'm
fucking mad about it. I should have taken it a mattress.
I had nothing. I had, I had stuff in my grandparent.
I don't know if I told you what happened, but
it's a whole long story. But I basically got forced
out of wore I was staying.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
And then I just was like I was so upset
and just wanted to quickly get my ship out that
I was like, you know, I'm not even to move
the fucking bed.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
You keep it.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
I would check my roger. I think I have a
bed frame in there. I got a frame to outline
you out and then lay in it like on the floor,
but in the outline of a bit o funny.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Wait what what I said?

Speaker 4 (14:37):
If you want like a frame, I have those like
old school metal frames with like the wheels on them,
and they just.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
I found one on Amazon for like sixty bucks. They'll
just ship you like pieces of this this steel frame
that you can just set up.

Speaker 7 (14:49):
Cool sixty bucks.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
You don't, you do you? But I'm just saying, like
I could just give you one.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
I A, it's like it's such as it's like a
it's a huge I don't live just fucking fifteen minutes
from you anymore. It's not like it's a whole hour
and a half. That's a three hour day for.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Me and the postmate to come get it.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
And I'd rather spend the sixty dollars and have somebody
ship into my door.

Speaker 10 (15:16):
Yeah no, I hear you.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
Like not having a truck or anything that is kind
of like a major pain in the ass too.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Because like exactly you know, and my grandpa doesn't have
the truck anymore. They fucking traded to them. Oh yeah,
so I don't have access to under this I call
my dad, but he's kind of busy and shit.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
You know, yeah I heard that.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
Yeah, well now you got ship going for you?

Speaker 5 (15:38):
Good for you?

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Well yeah, I mean I can actually fucking live like
a normal person and not be such a hermit, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
I feel better. Like it's just like every.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Time, you know, like when fuck, I've been so stressed
out about everything because because like I've been so uncertain
about when I was going to get this money to
fucking pay my bills and ship. So it's like now
that like I just like I'm like, oh, thank god,
I'm back track. And then like the and then and
then like you know, just my I was thinking, just
my luck, they'll just cancel my fucking They'll just cancel

(16:07):
my uh my benefits. Like that's just what I was thinking,
because why not, because I'm Ryan.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
That's what they do to me.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
You know, Like Ryan's like the fictional character in a
movie that all every time something happens, he's like, well,
at least it can't get any worse, and then it
gets worse.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Stop saying that up, say that that's awesome. That's that's
pretty cool, that's true. That's all right. I'll try to
help you out, you know, just don't be like that guy.
There's this dude, I can't what's his name, Scuba Steve,
the guy at the bell. I don't remember you.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
I thought you were talking about the actual character from
from Big.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Daddy, who's a dorky guy. Which he's a white guy
with glasses. I mean, that's that's all everyone. It doesn't matter, dude,
it doesn't matter. But he was telling me a story.
I mean, I have no problem with helping people if
you know they need help, but like it has to

(17:09):
be with like if it's if it's funny, I'm gonna
laugh first and then I'm gonna help you. So this
guy was talking about what's like he fucking fired up
a seizure because he thought about he was thinking about
having a seizure, which almost made him have one, and
then I started laughing. The reason why was because he
walked He walked into a room of his as he said,

(17:32):
his friend's wife had like a room where it was
just her room to decorate, and everything on there had
flower roses on it. And just by looking at everything
that had flowers and roses on everything, he thought about it.
He was like, I gotta get out of here. The dude,
he was like, I'm gonna have a seizure right now,
and he was almost like he almost like he gave

(17:52):
himself like a little panic attack. Looking at he just
that's weird thebody's abilities that I'm laughing at. I apologize.
I am so sorry. You look like I don't know, dude.
I think that'sh It's funny, dude, Like you know.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Off the subject, there's some things that are just funny.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
Oh god, damn. Sorry, continue, no bed anyway, I'm going
to new bed boy. One of those purple ones that
is like it has a little purple the cubes and
they're like cooking trap heat and ship. You see that.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
My my brother just ordered a cushion seat because they
make like seat cushions too, So like he drives for
a living and so he ordered a purple fucking cushion
seat him and sitting on it is so weird, like
if you ever sat on memory film, it's nothing like that.
It's so weird. It's it feels he said this. He's like,

(18:52):
it's like you're sitting on three pass and for stay
on like a trip. It's squishy, but like also somewhat comfortable.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
And supportive. Oh weird, really fucking weird.

Speaker 5 (19:07):
And I've heard pillows.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
I haven't had fucking pillows to support my neck, which
is why I haven't been sleeping well either.

Speaker 5 (19:13):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
The last time you had a good night sleep?

Speaker 1 (19:18):
H The last time I've had a good night sleep
when I was when when I when I when I
had my uh when I had my uh my fucking
mental breakdown and went to Temecula for for three days.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
So it was like induced sleep. Yeah, yeah, cool.

Speaker 7 (19:36):
On the on the desert floor.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
He's like got buried.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
I was in a hotel room like when it was
really and it was really nice and it was a
comfortable bed, and I just and I had been.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Crying and panicking for three days.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
So by the time by the time I actually lied
down I went to sleep, I slept for like an
entire for like twenty four hours and it was fucking amazing.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
Wow, And you did well. You should have one of
these couch fills to recreate that.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Dude, I'm like one of the weirdest fucking people when
it comes to sleep. And you guys know this, But
for the audience, like I, actually it's hard for me
to get to sleep, And even in the hotel when
it's like the most comfortable ship, I'm like, I can't
get comfortable because I just feel like I'm in a weird,
strange place and like every sound is like weird and
foreign to me, and and I don't know why I
just can't.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
I don't like sleeping at other places unless I'm used
to it. Obviously I can get used to something, but
for like a handful of days of sleeping, I can't
do it. It's it's it'll have the worst sleep unless
it's like my best.

Speaker 5 (20:38):
It's interesting here. These kind of topics I find interesting
because I can sleep anywhere. Yeah, I can kind of,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Uh, that's what I'm saying. It's just not the first thing.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Like I've been to jail and I've slept on a
fucking metal rap and after a while, yeah, you get
used to it. But like when when someone's like, oh,
just sleep over, I'm like, I'm not going to sleep
but okay, yeah I've been there.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Before too, but like only in situations where I don't
really want to stay there. But I'm like, but I'm like, uh,
I am drunk.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
Yeah, you start weighing the option. Yeah. Absolutely, Yeah, that's
cool though, I mean eventually you get there, right, you
got enough sculping, that's right exactly.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
I have a I have a vate pen too that
that I got now that it helps me, especially.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
When yeah I just got one too. There you go,
they'll help you out. Yeah, you got to do that.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
I think that I need some real thc oil and
stuff like that to kind of I mean, not TC oil,
fucking CBD oil. I know the difference now, I fucking
how I thought I was gonna die on I like
scorted some thhd oil into my mouth.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
I think it was.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
It was kind of like not because I had done
because my my my aunt had this like dropper that
I would drop cb cbd under your tongue and that
would help with like my my my muscle spasms and stuff. Right,
So I was. I had my neck and backward hurting.
So I decided to just squirt this tc oil into
my mouth, and I thought, dude, I thought aliens were

(22:15):
coming to get me. My legs stopped working. I threw
it twice. I had an army crawled to the bathroom
to throw up because I could not stand up the
room was spinning pretty much, and every time and every
time I closed my eyes, aliens were in my.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
Room too much, too much and keeping it. Really I
had cold sweats.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
I was like shaking and I was and I just
had the biggest like I thought I was going to die.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
And then.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
I almost woke up my grandma just to hold me.

Speaker 5 (22:46):
That's like how bad it was.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Like I was panicking and crying and fucking sweating and
just like I ended up just falling asleep, just a
little land laying with my dog with let me on
the floor. That's why I ended up getting away, getting
away in my head, that's what it was, getting away.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
That's aw.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Yeah again, that's like the time my friend he and
I were doing mushrooms, but I'm still I was very
new to mushrooms and it was nighttime, so I was
like I was having like a great time. And then
I was like, all right, I'm going to sleep. He's like,
you're gonna try and go to sleep. I'm like yeah,
He's like I wouldn't do that. I'm like why, He's
like I.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Don't like that. I'm gonna go try and go to sleep.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
I went in my bed and just like Ryan was
almost like almost just what he was saying.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
I'm like it was like demons, like every shape started
to change.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
And then I was like too hot, then too cold,
and I was like, what is going on?

Speaker 5 (23:44):
That's mushrooms.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
But that was just because I tried to go to sleep.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
I was so happy when I was just like chilling,
like I had a house plans and like it was
it was like thinking to me and then and then
it's like I'm gonna go to sleep, and then the
world changed.

Speaker 5 (24:00):
But the world. But did he leave though? He left
you by yourself? Though? Right?

Speaker 3 (24:05):
No, he was well, I mean I went to my
bed and he slept on the couch.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
But he didn't oh oh oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
I would have just gotten back up and been like
never mind, this is working out.

Speaker 7 (24:13):
Don't go.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
By yourself. That's what it tiggures, that bad ship. You know,
when you're when you're lying there by like alone, you know,
that's that's when like the real bad stuff starts to come.

Speaker 5 (24:28):
That's crazy. I came out.

Speaker 7 (24:30):
I came out.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
He's like I transformed into it. He's like my face
became a lion's face. And I was like, let's not
do mushrooms at night anymore.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
I love.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
I do.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
I told you that that they are good. You just
have to do them. I would I would highly recommend. Well,
there's not this, do them in the morning and go
on a hike or something.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Yeah, that's fun. Yeah, the daytime is the best time.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
So I was so I had somebody over that was
like really into like E d M. And we split
this like chocolate truffle like mushroom thing and she puts
on this fucking like E d M concert like on
my on my TV. And this is when I was
still in ALMANI. So I'm on my grandparents room and
I'm fucking just tripping balls on this like you know,
light show and ship. But then it starts to become

(25:24):
so anxiety deuce inducing, like it's yes, somebody is here. Oh,
it becomes so anxiety like the.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
Fucking I'm about to lose my life.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
I was like what the.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Base was hitting so hard and the lights were just
too much, and and it was just all the same.
It's just it's all the same beat over and over
again in it, and it fucking made me crazy.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
So it's and so like so I just.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Ended up lying down on the floor and she's like,
are you okay. I'm like, yeah, I just need to
not look at this, look at we're talking, just like
I was like, I was like, those lights are just
too much for me right now.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Hold on, Ryan's just in the well the blood is
writing down.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
What you mean, man? That was too much? Man?

Speaker 1 (26:25):
And then like I don't know, you know, I was
hanging out just checking her. A lot of her friends
listen to it too. It's like, fucking man, I'm like.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
How do you guys? This this is I mean all day,
all day.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
I'm like, even even when I hang out with my
metal head friends, I'm like, you guys want to hang
out and like not feel like the shrine ship right now, Like,
let's just chill. I want to hear something, just change
your paces.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
Yeah, I do find that interesting when I talk to
a lot of my friends that are like they seem
like they're into like one type.

Speaker 7 (26:56):
Of music only and all the time.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
Yeah, I'm like, if I on my playlist right now,
it is the most it is one of the most
eclectic fucking things, right, and are in that same boat
similar It's like Metaca, megadev A c D c Adele
fucking scrillics And then like, you know, just like whatever, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
That's cool. I'd say, all three of us arn that boat.

Speaker 7 (27:19):
Yeah that's the weird ass music.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
Well, Ricky's Ricky's on a whole of their playing field.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Ricky could go all day with stuff I've never even
heard of.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
So yeah, whereas uh, I mean, I don't even know
where the fuck you would hear any of this new ship.
But Ricky Ricky's turn. Actually, Ricky back in the day
used to We used to fucking trade music all the time.
It was like I'd go over to Ricky's house to
hear about some new ship, and then I'd bring some
new ship over.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
And yeah, for sure, I agreed.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
That was back in the day.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
He was always always on top of it, always on
discovering new music too.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (27:54):
I still try to be, but you know, just I
don't have that much time anymore.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Well, most of the bands that I listened to now
are because of you, Okay, nice, Yeah, I mean at
least that are outside.

Speaker 5 (28:03):
Of metal, I think.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean I still love
the sounds. They're like, you know, looking and I know
them because of you.

Speaker 7 (28:15):
Well, I think we just step it together.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
Yeah. So yeah, that's how I found out.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
About them now A lot of the times too, if
I'm just like trying to get work done or whatever,
I'll just put on like a random radio radio station
that just has things like not any artists that I
have I would ever even know to look up, but like,
uh like just random things like this one's is the
good Life Radio where it's just like nice, relaxing and
I'm like, I don't know, this is what it sounds like.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
It's just it's background noise.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
That's the ship that I listened to when I go
to sleep. So I have a Google I have a
Google pot my I have a Google pot in my
in my room, and I don't have a TV in
my room. So so Google's now like now since I
use YouTube for music so much, now like like can
here like Google now pretty much makes a playlist for
me of ship that I like and ship that I

(29:07):
would like, and it's pretty great, you know, Like I
just ask it to put on like a chill playlist,
and based on all the things that I like to
play on YouTube, it creates this collection of songs that
like are fucking awesome.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Probably the only person I know that pays for YouTube
premium because I would.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
I forgot that I had premium for so long, and
then when when I couldn't pay for it because I
didn't have any money in my fucking account.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
It like fucking ads.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Ads.

Speaker 7 (29:41):
Yes, if you if you browse YouTube on like a computer,
the first thing, yeah, I do is get like a
good ad block around there because I see zero ads
on YouTube. Dan, I don't pay for ship really yeah
I will. I will blast this out there. It's called.

Speaker 5 (29:59):
At the end of this. Well, I pay for premium,
so I don't get ads anyway, but I like.

Speaker 7 (30:02):
I like who doesn't have premium doesn't want ads.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
And I like premium because well, yeah one no ads,
but too there's like there's also you can get like
free movies and and then it also comes with YouTube
music and you can hear listen to podcasts and stuff
on it too.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
When your phone you can you can lock your phone
still play.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Yeah, oh cool, Yeah that's cool.

Speaker 7 (30:24):
But yeah the add on. I use Firefox. I'm sure
they probably have one for Google Chrome. If you use it,
they're just called you block Origin. Oh you yeah, I
get zero ads on.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
YouTube that's awesome, doesn't block my ship?

Speaker 4 (30:40):
Why do you use Firefox over Chrome ricky because I
don't like Google. Oh okay, Google's like saved everything for me,
Like I use Chrome. I got it's all, everything's all
linked together, So I just don't like fuck it, you know.
I that I got that Google Pod and then the
and then everything I have.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
I have all my h.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
I have my backup files on fucking Google Drive and
all that stuff too.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
So yeah, Google drives pretty and all the academic systems
are using it right now. Yeah, all my college classes
right now are using Google, Google Docs and everything they
bought into the system. So you know, you it's free. Yeah, yeah, exactly,
Like I don't have to pay for any to.

Speaker 7 (31:22):
Pay for it, if you're like if, I mean, they
give it out for free, but the actually college have
to pay for it and stuff.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
Right, That's what I mean. Yeah, the colleges pay for
and then they give it to us. I mean somebody's
getting there money somewhere. Absolutely, yeah exactly, yeah yeah yeah,
so but yeah, no, I know what you're talking about.
I didn't actually start messing with any of the Google
stuff until like all the school things are happening.

Speaker 1 (31:40):
I wouldn't get a Chromebook unless unless I got I
mean sometimes they're pretty cheap. Like if I got a
Chromebook and then then maybe used it for like like
you know, travel, podcasting or streaming or something like that,
Like that's the only reason I would get one.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
Yeah, what about the like the surface windows. Uh, the
service was very nice. Yeah, my my ex had one.
I would I was.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
I was using it for for some ship, which is
why she Uh she was still logged into my Instagram
and found out I was talking to other chairs.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Surprised motherfucker.

Speaker 5 (32:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Well no, no, no, no, this was after we broke up.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
This was her funny I'm away.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
This was after we broke up, and then she was like, oh,
he's cheating on me. He's been cheating on me. Like, no, dummy,
you left, and no, this is this is the precaution
you left.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
I need to other things.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
Yeah, absolutely, that's funny. It was because I've been looking
for like another like travel laptop. Yeah, you know, surface
is great.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
Yeah, I still have like a regular laptop, but I
think if I were to ever buy another like portable thing,
probably a surface or something.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Surface only because it's still it's like a yeah it's
a travel piece and it has those USB ports you know. Yeah,
even even though you know, I love Mac, I would
never fucking get an iPad.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
Never ever, ever in my life will I ever get
another like Mac computer laptop unless it was either given
to me or I needed it for a very specific thing.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Because I just did not have a great time with
my my Mac experience.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
I don't know, I love mine. I just uh, it's
just not not great for streaming. For game streaming. Yeah, yeah,
I thought, which is why I haven't really been doing it,
because I've been trying.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
I wanted to, but.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
There's a there's a it's just it's not it's not
the same because I can't plug direct like you know,
with like a like with a PC, you can like
directly plug in your your console somehow into your PC. Right,
so that way like when you stream your streams.

Speaker 7 (33:53):
Probably something like an adapt or something.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Well, yeah, exactly. But that's the thing is, like, it's
it's fucking virtually impossible for Mac.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
So I have to I have to.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
I have to do it, uh wirelessly, So I have
to stream. I have to cast my Xbox to my
Mac and then stream that. But it gets choppy because
there's much going on, you know.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
Yeah, interesting h sounds chipping yeah, it does. You're probably
probably gonna have to buy an adapter. I mean I
did it.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I used to do it with my with my my PlayStation,
my Xbox all the time when I was when I
was living with Vicky, because she would bitch about me
being on the TV and playing video games. So I
would just we only have one TV, so she'd watch
TV and I'd be on the Mac and I'd be
playing video games.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
So I'm like, fuck it.

Speaker 7 (34:36):
Oh yeah, that's right.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Yeah anyway, yeah, yeah, Ricky, Ricky and I are just
part of the PC master race and we just do
whatever the folk we want.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Yeah, I mean if I could, fucking you know, I
don't know. One of these days I want to. I
want to build a gaming computer and just have it.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
You know, pretty awesome, man, like like the things that
you like, the graphics card and all that good stuff,
you know. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
The best part about them is you can always change
any part of them. They're entirely modular.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
Yeah, so it's really like you don't have like with consoles,
you don't just have to get another console or another PC, like, oh,
new graphics cards out boom, get a new graphics card
and like everything you could just pieces of my pieces
whatever then you feel like doing.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah, I mean the only thing I did was I
maxed out the RAM on this and that's the only
thing you could really do.

Speaker 5 (35:33):
Yeah yeah, building building your own I don't know, maybe
that might be something you want to do, build your
own tower or something.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
That's what I'm saying one of these days.

Speaker 7 (35:43):
Well I want to, you know, once I go mine,
and then I built Garretts as well, so I can.

Speaker 5 (35:47):
Definitely that's cool, man, That's what I'm doing Cisco and
networking right now. So I just learned, Yeah, yeah, it was.
It was kind of like my secondary skill that I learned.
And when I was in the Army it was munications
like satellite Cat five, Cats six super nice, that's cables,
all those good stuff. Yeah yeah, but yeah, no, I

(36:08):
didn't know. I just I didn't know how to build
any of the computers. I just knew they worked, you know,
like what we needed them for for the operational we'll
just say operational programs that they were using. Very special. Yeah. Yeah.
So but in Fortnite, I didn't know how. I didn't
know any of that until I got out and like

(36:29):
started doing the classes here, so like A plus security
and all that, and Sisco yeah, d R four and
all that, like all these interchangeable stuffs. Man, I mean great,
do whatever you want to get into that.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
I mean you, I think this is a very simple
thing that I think we can all give a quick
opinion on. So, so I wants to know what's better
Mac a PC. She's thinking about getting a laptop, and
I would I would my quick answer is it entirely
depends on what you're using for.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
Yeah, that's exactly what I was.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
Yeah, if you're going to get a laptop, so that's
basically any sort of Windows laptop or a MacBook, it
just really depends on what you're gonna be using it for.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
I would say, uh, you're you're in the comments section.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
Let us know what the hell you're gonna use it for,
and then we're going to give you a better answer
that otherwise I'll just like start going out quick. Off
the top of my head, though, I mean, obviously, if
you can afford it, like a MacBook would be a
good choice, especially for someone like Sienna, just because if
anything goes wrong with it and you don't really know
how to fix it or anything, you do have a
dedicated store that I mean, other than if it was
a you know, pandemic that we're living in a dedicated store,

(37:37):
we can always take it in. You know, they're always
super happy, happy to help you out. And you know,
it's more of like when it comes to like Apple,
MacBooks and stuff like that. It's just like the reason
why things are so expensive is because you're also paying
for like that back end where they have a dedicated
store everybody, you know, a bunch of people who can
fix it for you, no questions ask And.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
And also you could just mail whatever you have to
Ricky and he'll fix yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
And also exclusive software that they have for certain things too,
you know, like yeah exactly, you know, well pro tools
and uh and uh you know fucking final cut, you know,
depending on what you're doing. Like I love final cut
and I'm self taught on final cuts. So that's so
that's always why I'm always going to do Mac, because

(38:26):
because like final cute movie are pretty much the same.
You know, my movie is is just a dumb down
version of a final cut, you know, so like and
I've I've always had a version.

Speaker 5 (38:36):
Of final cut that I've always.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Liked so yeah, you know, even though Adobe is just
as good, I I just prefer the layout of.

Speaker 5 (38:45):
A final cut, you know.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
Yeah, says that she like likes to use it for
Mickey music, putting sound effects on and going live.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
So going live on something doesn't really matter.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
It's that's gonna be much more about like the power
of your computer, especially like you know, if you get
a weak computer, it's not gonna matter, Like you just
can't do good things live when it comes to actually
making music and putting sound effects and stuff. That's all
about like your your what you're gonna be used to
as far as software, and I don't know exactly what

(39:16):
you're used to.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
I just know a lot of garage Man. Garage Man
always comes standard and it's very fucking simple. So if
you're gonna be using uh, but if you're gonna be
the thing is if if you're gonna be doing stuff
like that, the lower end max are not even worth
it if you're not gonna if you're not gonna pay.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
For that extra. Honestly, I think right now it's coming
down to what what what she says she's gonna be
using it for, and you know, to be I think
it's coming down to hard drive space, I think you're
gonna have to make your and the processor. Yeah, yeah,
I think it's gonna have.

Speaker 7 (39:45):
A good thing about those too, is that you can
at least if you want to go to the lower end,
you can change those out yourself for a lot.

Speaker 5 (39:50):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
So that's so that's what I would That's what I
would do, is I buy a lower end Mac and
then and then swap out the RAM, but make sure
you have anice as seven process all.

Speaker 5 (39:58):
The Devil's advocate and say, the money that you spend
on switching things out, just add it to the computer
already so you don't have to switch it out. It's
out of the box. So maybe get a put that stuff.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Yeah, yeah, for sure for Apple at least at least
you only switch out the RAM on Apple. But but
when you pay for the extra RAM, it's yeah, it's
fucking it's it's it's there's a huge price difference.

Speaker 8 (40:22):
I don't know, you know, because I'm a console guy,
so I don't mess with PC at all, Like laptops
are for work, and you know what I mean, Like
I don't so like for me at home right now,
I have a Dell.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Dude, I'm doing like office work. I'm like office space
Dell computer Dude. It has like like nine hundred gigs
on there, you know, and it's all literally just for
like Microsoft Office, just office stuff and you know, administration.
That's it. Yeah, That's all I needed for is just
to write reports and stuff. Yeah, you know what I mean, Like,
I have more than enough space, but I think for
what we've got going on here, I think it's to

(40:54):
come down to that. And like I don't know, I
don't know what kind of programs it, like what it
entails or what will be used, but I'm sure they're
going to take up a lot of hard drive space.

Speaker 7 (41:03):
Right.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
So here's my question then for you, Like, so for
like Sienna, I would imagine she's not used to being
able to swap things out like that. What what do
you think will be a better, easier MAC thing, Just
to know, like if you were just buy one thing
that will be good for whatever she needs to do.

Speaker 5 (41:20):
Just ja. Yeah, I'm not saying I'm not saying it, man.
Apple doesn't have any of my money, So I'm gonna
say it's honestly, it's I mean, whatever user friendly, man,
whatever you're comforting I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
I'm saying because Mac comes standard with with garage Man,
and garage Man is very user friendly.

Speaker 5 (41:42):
Right, but you might I mean, what if she never
used the Mac before? Then't going to reteach yourself how
to use Windows.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
But I'm sure she's not a moron. You can figure
it out, right.

Speaker 5 (41:52):
It's all going to come down on what you want
to spend and how much you want to put into it.
If you're comfortable with Windows. With Windows, like I said, man,
I use it, Dell, I'm not doing anything crazy on there.
And I go on you know, Microsoft Word and fire
out a paper in five pages or less.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
And yeah, but that's what I'm saying. You're not You're
not doing the stuff that that she's asking that.

Speaker 5 (42:12):
Whatever you're familiar with. Man, yeah, boom there about it's
all about and this good money. Have very much.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
But I mean, look, I I I found I found
a fucking solid I'm at pro that or I'm act
that I that I uh that I upgraded off of
offer up so here. I mean, if you could find
somebody selling one that's like refurbished and then I just
upgrade it, like you'll save so much money.

Speaker 5 (42:42):
There's something else to look into. You might you might
be able to get a refurbished Mac, you know, maybe
one of the higher end, that's what I'm saying. And
spent a little bit.

Speaker 7 (42:51):
Yeah, I know they have like a store on eBay
that they use and like it's actually like run by Apple,
but just new do something like that anyway, does it too?

Speaker 5 (43:01):
Yeah, something like there's something to look in too there
yeah mm hmm. Yeah, so she'd be good on that.
Yeah there. You know.

Speaker 4 (43:09):
She does use the iPhone and iPads already, So go
for a Mac, get them back. Just uh look into
the specs the base specs that you would need before.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
And then upgrade the RAM and order them on Amazon.
Order the sticks on Amazon because.

Speaker 5 (43:24):
They're very cheap.

Speaker 4 (43:26):
Yeah, but definitely know what what you need first, So
I would I would do do your homework and find
out what you need first.

Speaker 5 (43:32):
Then do that.

Speaker 7 (43:32):
Oh yeah, music stuff doesn't doesn't like I feel like,
wouldn't need like the most powerful thing. Uh, Like I said,
probably like it's just gonna be like coming down to
like storing the actual music files and stuff. So it's
just gonna be sized.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
But it's you can always get an external Yeah, terrible
so like fucking sixty bucks now.

Speaker 7 (43:51):
Yeah, externals are crazy cheap.

Speaker 5 (43:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
I had to put a terriblet on my Xbox. Yeah,
because five hundred gigs is bullshit these days, bro, I
mean order my PS four.

Speaker 4 (44:05):
Like being in there, being in this world, like the
age that we are is so fucking weird because we
lived through a thing where we were in elementary school
and one hundred and like twenty eight megabytes was a
big thing to have as far as an empty m
P three player just before.

Speaker 5 (44:24):
Yeah, dude, absolutely, Yeah that's cool, dude, I got twenty
songs came out, you could shuffle.

Speaker 4 (44:36):
Now we're over here, like, yeah, terabyte is uh is
like about whatever terabyte was invented?

Speaker 7 (44:43):
Yeah, yeah, seriously, Yeah that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (44:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Everyone's like how much space can you and then you're like,
I need at least six terabytes? Can someone give me
six terriors?

Speaker 5 (44:51):
Well here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
Well, because technology and the quality of everything has has
required so much more space, that's why, you know, so
like so these fuck video games now, dude, they're taking
up one hundred gigs even more, you know, ridiculous. So
war Zone is constantly updating and it's taken up. I mean,
Modern Warfare has taken up at least two gigs in

(45:13):
my fucking memory space out of five hundred.

Speaker 7 (45:15):
It's like a name and how much it needs for
like no reason. It's like, why is this sopiing huge?

Speaker 5 (45:22):
And so I couldn't.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
I literally had to delete all of my other games
to have one game.

Speaker 7 (45:28):
People will complaining so much about it. I think, I
don't know. I think it's only for PC where you
have the option to like take off a bunch of
things to free of space, like within the game. So
if you only want war Zone, you can just check,
like I only want war Zone and everything else.

Speaker 5 (45:43):
I can do that on on PlayStation four and five.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
I can probably put it on the Xbox. I could
probably do it, but but I have but I purchased
the entire game, you know, so so I have all
that space, I mean just for I mean, I played
halfway through the campaign and I haven't even touched it.

Speaker 5 (46:00):
But but here it's good. You know.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
Sometimes I like playing the campaign, you know, sometimes I
get the mood and I'm like, fucking I'll just I
don't play campaign. I want to talk to anybody.

Speaker 5 (46:09):
I kind of liked, uh, having played the first one,
first Modern Warfare. When it came out, I didn't play
them all. I started. I stopped playing when once jump
packs started coming in and he super Boost. Well that
was that.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
That was more of the advanced warfare and the infinite warfare.
Infinite Warfare was fucking sick because it's like Halo kind
of Yeah, I like that one.

Speaker 5 (46:32):
Get out of here.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
So Fantasy shooter guy like, hail Halo is my ship
right there, and.

Speaker 5 (46:40):
That's what you want to go over there?

Speaker 1 (46:41):
Hey, So, speaking of which, I wanted to talk to
you guys. I don't know if I don't know if
you guys have guardians.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
But but we but we're all adults here, right, we
don't need.

Speaker 1 (46:56):
Halo five guardians. Uh uh we Hit the Mics got
challenged by Cold forty five to uh to do a
team what is it called fucking Slayer right slay? Team
Slayer Slayer? Okay, to do team Slayer. Hit the Mics
got challenged by Cold forty five podcasts Team Slayer Halo

(47:19):
five Guardians.

Speaker 7 (47:21):
Yeah, I wanted I think I have micro.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
We're recruiting members if you guys are.

Speaker 7 (47:26):
Ready to play a long time. But I'm down to
like fucking spruce up on it.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
The last Halo game I played.

Speaker 5 (47:33):
Was Halo three.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Yeah, sorry I was reading the comment, but you know, yeah,
it's the same fucking.

Speaker 5 (47:45):
Thing, man, it's.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
But also that was on console. So are we doing this?

Speaker 7 (47:52):
I meant, like a cheap fucking USB Xbox controller.

Speaker 5 (47:56):
You'll plug right in, Will it work? Will it work
that way? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (48:00):
Absolutely, that's cool in.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
Their cross platform though.

Speaker 7 (48:03):
On Halo I believe there's a Halo five. Yeah, most likely.

Speaker 5 (48:07):
I'm pretty sure on Halo five you out of work.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
Okay, I'll find out.

Speaker 5 (48:11):
I'll find out.

Speaker 7 (48:12):
But but it's one of the good things about like
the Xbox is like the reason why I never would
buy one anymore because with the Microsoft or Windows ten PC,
they've made like a lot of the compatible with all
of Xbox games.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
Now, which is absolute. That's really cool.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Yeah, so so yeah, so so, Steve and I are
going to start training.

Speaker 2 (48:31):
We're gonna do.

Speaker 1 (48:33):
A little training montage and like fight night fucking promo
and stuff. But I don't have a date yet, but
after after we uh, once we start kind of getting
getting brushed up on it, then then.

Speaker 5 (48:43):
We'll figure it out. That's awesome.

Speaker 4 (48:44):
I'm pretty down because it's been a long time since
I've played a Halo game for sure, and then it's
definitely one of my favorite.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
Uh but we did ask if you if you too
would be down to.

Speaker 3 (48:54):
So yeah, how many? Like how how many versus how
many is it going to be?

Speaker 1 (48:59):
I think four on four?

Speaker 3 (49:01):
Four on four? Okay, Ricky, have you played a game
on your PC with a with a controller, like have you?

Speaker 7 (49:10):
How does it feel like?

Speaker 3 (49:11):
How's the chansfer?

Speaker 4 (49:11):
Because I've been playing console games or not console PC games.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
It seems like for a long time.

Speaker 4 (49:19):
My last fucking console was a Xbox three sixty that
we played in high school.

Speaker 7 (49:24):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean like, yeah, So the
thing for me is like in the beginning, like I
really like in early days, I started like playing in
PC like games with mouse controller, but then also I
took like a long break from it, and like I
had like an x Plus three sixty, I think I
got like and then I got my PS four and
up until about I want to say, maybe four years ago,
I got really back into PC gaming again. So I

(49:48):
don't know, it's for me, it seems like it's really
easy just to get back into it, especially like either
one controller or missing keyboard. I do prefer mouse and
keyboard over it. But even in a controller, it's still fine.

Speaker 5 (50:01):
For me.

Speaker 7 (50:01):
It seems like just turning on I.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
Think, I think to even the playing field, we're all
gonna have to be on controller.

Speaker 7 (50:08):
Yeah, it's super easy to at least at least when
it comes to like you know, like I said, when
it comes to like a wit is ten PC. If
you plug in any USB controller that's like Microsoft or
Xbox certified, it just plugs right and easy.

Speaker 1 (50:18):
So that's I mean, even if it has I think
if I think the newer ones, if they have they're Bluetooth.

Speaker 5 (50:25):
They're Bluetooth.

Speaker 7 (50:26):
So so if you're if you computer as Bluetooth, you
can do that.

Speaker 5 (50:29):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 7 (50:30):
Ye God controllers can do it too if you want.
If you feel better with the PS four controller PlayStation.

Speaker 5 (50:36):
Controller all right.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
I think my brother has an Xbox, a newer one.

Speaker 1 (50:41):
Not well, I'm pretty sure you guys have the same
one I have, which is the like the first gen
Xbox one, so maybe I don't know.

Speaker 3 (50:50):
I had an old one that broke.

Speaker 7 (50:51):
I just had to get a cheaper one off of Amazon,
like twenty bucks.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
As long as the controller I could use then and
then and I'm I'm fine, it's fine.

Speaker 5 (50:57):
There you go. Yeah, well that's pretty man. Yeah, you guys.

Speaker 1 (51:02):
So that's so that's a cold forty is another podcast
that we're like kind of friends with them there and
they're in Houston.

Speaker 5 (51:07):
Yeah, there you go there, uh and they they do.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
They're a movie review podcast that that all of us
have think I think all of us have guessed it on.
You guys haven't guessed it on there yet. I have,
all right, you guys haven't I have, Ricky hasn't. Well
you should. It's fun.

Speaker 5 (51:28):
Basically we'll know.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
They'll give you like a you know, cult movie to watch,
and then you watch it, take some notes or whatever,
and then the next the next day or whenever you have.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
To watch it.

Speaker 1 (51:39):
So no, I've been fucked up many times watching the movies,
you know, drag movie. Yeah, and then and then you
break down the movie with the guys, you know, and
they you know, they do it this way.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
So you're on you're like on a call with them, and.

Speaker 11 (51:58):
I think that'd be awesome, you guys get to get
But yeah, but they've been doing they've been doing these
things where they're they're they're calling out other podcasts because
they're streaming too, so they're calling out other podcasts to
like to like play games with them, you know.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
So I'm like, fuck it, dude, it'd be fun.

Speaker 7 (52:12):
Let's fucking do it, guys. Yeah, okay, okay, I'll give you.
I'll give you a link to with like sucrition service
for Microsoft for liken or ten bucks now you can
get I think they have Halo in there for free.

Speaker 5 (52:27):
I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
Yeah, well I haven't downloaded, like my Xbox came with it.

Speaker 5 (52:33):
Yeah, I got the bundle thing.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
Well I bought it off somebody who I think got
the bundle thing, so that was already on there.

Speaker 3 (52:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (52:44):
Anywhoy, I'm like, totally vibe into the fucking Halo song now.
I think what it was is after I played and
it went through Halo three last, and then uh, Halo
four came out, my brother had it, and I think
I borrowed it, but I never actually played it. And
then and then I just ended up watching all of

(53:04):
the cut scenes in the story on YouTube and stuff,
just since I hadn't hadn't had a new console for
the for the next one. I was like This is
pretty cool, and I'm like, after watching the entire story,
I'm super excited for whatever is gonna come next, which
I believe Halo Infinite.

Speaker 5 (53:20):
Yeah yeah. One.

Speaker 1 (53:22):
Now there's the you can get the Master Chief Collection,
which has one through four I think, which I have
now remastered. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (53:30):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. I kind of like, I kind
of liked that they're rebastering the old end like I
did the I'm a PlayStation guy, so I did the
Final Fantasy seven remake. Yeah. Yeah. The Final Fantasy Seven
was like one of the very first PlayStation games I
ever played on PlayStation one. When it came out with

(53:50):
the bundle you got four Yeah. Do you remember the
member cards? You got the bundle with the memory cards.
Oh yeah yeah. So when the remake came out, I
got a little all giddy, dude, I gotta get it.
I gotta play it, you know, like, I don't know,
it's a I don't know. I think it's pretty cool

(54:12):
what they're doing to like like the Castlevania's you know, yeah,
all the double I think it's pretty cool. And you
know what, what what games resident able to when they
when they remastered, you know, like I understand, like I like,
I played the first one, and I played the original
one PlayStation one. I remember playing the director's cut, and

(54:34):
I mean, I understand that there's you're not experience. Maybe
you're not experiencing the nineties pixelation and drinking memory cards, and.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
I mean, have you tried, like if you try playing
those games now, like those old consoles, Yeah, they're so
hard to.

Speaker 5 (54:55):
You're getting the hallway all along and your back is
now controls all glad ship. Damn.

Speaker 12 (55:03):
That was that's cool back then, exactly. That's what I
don't miss, that part, like being stuck on a puzzle.
You know, why am I so stupid? Why can I
figure this out? I think when the when they remade it,
I think they you know, it's a lot of the
same thing. They just kind of shut the box up
a little bit. But I mean the upgrading graphics is awesome,
and you guys can't do that, yeah for sure, you know,
especially even play the TVs are out now.

Speaker 5 (55:24):
They had a.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
Remastered Earthworm gym oh cool, and I played that. Oh yeah,
I played that on the Xbox and I got stuck
on the same fucking level.

Speaker 5 (55:34):
In fucking ninety five. Now you're stuck up yeah, exactly.
That's so cool.

Speaker 7 (55:44):
Some way figure it out.

Speaker 3 (55:46):
Graphics got better, but I never got better.

Speaker 5 (55:50):
That's cool, man, I like it exactly. But I don't
mind the I don't mind the remakes. Like I mean,
the Final Fantasy seventh one was awesome. You know what
they did, squaring Enix, what they did with all their
like their cinematics. Yeah, like you know the cut scene. Yeah,

(56:11):
oh yeah, sometimes we watched it.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
Yeah. I never really got into those Final Fantasy games
too much. I mean I played ten, and what ten to?

Speaker 5 (56:19):
I only played seven. I only played seven. I only
played seven man, Oh no, no, no, well, I mean
I didn't own it, but I but whichever one came
out for PS three, when one of the guys came
out on full caliber, I.

Speaker 1 (56:32):
Think that's ten, isn't it ten? There's a double desk,
Yeah it was. And they played like like a weird
soccer game like Underwater I needed.

Speaker 5 (56:39):
I only played a couple levels on it, but that
was when they first started. I think that was when
they were opening up that little side menu, like you
could hold the button, hit the button and like a
little side man you command came in whatever. Anyway, that
was the only one I ever played until seven, so
I like them. They're cool. Yeah, and I played FIFA,

(56:59):
but I don't rage.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
I do not write, dude, I can't play it.

Speaker 5 (57:03):
You know what.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
I played the I like playing the show.

Speaker 5 (57:06):
The show.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
The show is great. And NHL NHL hockey I did
two and.

Speaker 5 (57:13):
Six was my first FIFA. I haven't played in league hockey,
Mutant League hockey. Apparently they're remaking it.

Speaker 7 (57:21):
No, I don't know that.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
That's yeah, Mutant League hockey and league soccer and and
mute league football, all three of them.

Speaker 7 (57:28):
Man, oh damn oh.

Speaker 5 (57:30):
Yeah. There were Blitz Football that Blitz Arcade went. It
was my only favorite football game. I hated Madden.

Speaker 1 (57:38):
I hated Maden that but yeah, Mutant League football and
uh it's been Blitz were always fun.

Speaker 5 (57:46):
Yeah, Blitz Blitz was ridiculous. You can kick people people.
Those are fun, man, those old arcade games to.

Speaker 1 (57:57):
Fucking hangtime, NBA Hangtime, remember that one.

Speaker 5 (58:00):
Yeah, yep, I want to hear about this MCU news man. Yeah,
what's going on?

Speaker 7 (58:08):
Sorry?

Speaker 5 (58:09):
Some beer?

Speaker 7 (58:09):
You guys like.

Speaker 3 (58:12):
I like beer?

Speaker 5 (58:13):
Yeah? No, that's first.

Speaker 3 (58:15):
I feel like I got rid of like a bunch
of like my favorite soundbites.

Speaker 5 (58:18):
I don't know you can hear what we're talking about.
I like just a bunch of nerds.

Speaker 3 (58:26):
Mm hmmm. All right, let's get into some some newsy stuff.

Speaker 4 (58:31):
So first and foremost, I mean, uh, the internet in
entertainment news sector isn't like brimming with stuff, but we
do have MCU stuff to talk about, and that is
that WandaVision will be coming out this Friday, and the
early reviews have already come in started pouring in, and
they are overwhelmingly.

Speaker 3 (58:50):
Positive and really overwhelmed.

Speaker 4 (58:53):
So I mean, it's not a big surprise at this
point that an MCU property is doing well, but they're
saying that it's really good and that it's going to
start taking uh the MCU into a place that it's
never been before, uh, something that we all kind of guess,
at least from the multiverse aspect of it, and what
we know will be coming with the whole Doctor Strange

(59:14):
Multiverse of Madness, which will include Wanda maximof who is
Scarlet which no word yet on the future of Vision
past this show, but with a lot of people, you know,
getting at least exposed to the first I believe the
critics got the first three episodes.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
Uh, they are. They are saying that it is worth
the weight and worth the watch.

Speaker 4 (59:36):
Absolutely. I believe the rumor is that we're going to
get the first two episodes this Friday, and so we'll
be able to give our opinions on that next week. Yeah,
that's how That's how it works in a lot of
our families. It's like I got Disney Plus, my mom
has Netflix, my fucking friends as the HBO Max. You know,

(59:59):
you got to share codes or share loggins. But I'm
curious to see what you guys think about this. It
has been over a year since we have gotten any
sort of menthview property.

Speaker 5 (01:00:10):
Since Endgame, we still don't know anything about Black Widow.

Speaker 4 (01:00:16):
Uh, not much except that it's it's it's it's coming,
and they're not gonna put it on streaming, which I
salute them.

Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
It's so weird.

Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
So that's what I'm saying, Man, That's what I'm saying.
I think the only I mean, this has been my
theory is the only reason they're not doing it is
because there's there's gotta be some sort of after credit
scene that really sets up Phase four.

Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
Well, the whole thing with this, if you look at
the scheduled timeline ahead of that. This was already supposed
to come out way before WandaVision, So you might be right,
But the whole thing is why, like it should have
already come out, We should have already seen it. So
am I My question is would any of this have
anything to do with Black Widow or is it are

(01:00:59):
they have they reached reach?

Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
I'm gonna I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say this, this
is why I think I think, I think this is
just uh, this is just what whatever. This is just
a side story of what's going on with with with
Wanda and and and her connection to the Soulestone or
what is it, the U Mindstone the mindstone, and and

(01:01:22):
we're gonna get like.

Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
A which by the way, is present in all of
the the trailers in Vision, so we're all like, how
does that even exist anymore?

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Right? So, like I told you, guys, if you haven't already,
go check out the New rock Stars breakdown of of
the trailers and stuff. It looks great that they have
so much insight on on what what this backstory could
mean and all this stuff. So I think it might
be just a little bit of a like a subplot
and a bigger thing.

Speaker 5 (01:01:48):
So that's why.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Yeah, So that's so that that's why I'm saying, that's
why I think that Black Widow has this this uh,
this some sort of big reveal that sets us up
for Phase four, and One Division is connected to it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:04):
But but they're not.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
It's not that big of a fucking drop the way,
you know, because they expected this movie to be in theaters,
right and Wan Division was already prepped to be on
a streaming service, So it would make sense that that
that they would make this big announcement in the fucking theater,
you know.

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Yeah, I actually believe it.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
In the opposite of what you what you just said,
I think that the Black Widow movie is going to
be less less consequential to the overall MCU as a whole,
but it gives you much more of the backstory and
a little bit as to what's gonna happen with characters,
whereas One Division is going to have much more of
a heavy impact on what's going to happen plot wise

(01:02:42):
going forward in the MCU.

Speaker 7 (01:02:44):
Okay, that makes sense, I think too.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Yeah, Like I think a.

Speaker 7 (01:02:48):
Story, I think there's literally no reason why they haven't
put that out on the fucking streaming service. It's fucking dumb.

Speaker 4 (01:02:54):
I don't I don't necessarily agree with that one because
I think that, yes, it's an origin story, but I
don't I believe that it's also going to eat a
We're going to get a new character that's going to
join the Avengers after that, which could possibly even be
a new Black Widow, but it's not going to overall
change the plot, whereas WandaVision seems to be able to

(01:03:17):
do do something that if you're a comic fan and
you know Marvel Comics, it could change the entire landscape
of the MCU as we see it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:27):
We already know we're in the direction of people of
young Avengers. We already know that, right or or.

Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
I don't know if they're going to call it that,
but yeah, so we're already getting, you know, the next
generation where you you've seen behind the scenes stuff of
like Hailey Steinfeld in the new Hawkeye series. Yeah, and
you have Miss Marvel who's a Kamala Khan and a
bunch of other ones that I can't remember off the
top of my head. But yeah, so they're definitely recruiting
younger members. But we haven't wrapped up, and I don't

(01:03:53):
think we're going to wrap up.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Well Ironheart too obviously move.

Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
Yeah, we have a lot more characters that are coming in.

Speaker 4 (01:04:01):
But but but besides, you know, if you haven't already
seen it, besides Iron Man, everyone else pretty much is
still in play.

Speaker 7 (01:04:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
Yeah, well and Captain America, even Old Cap.

Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
He's not dead, he's just old.

Speaker 5 (01:04:16):
True true?

Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
Is that? Okay, let's talk about this for a second,
because because what does that mean? So what kept him
young was being was being frozen, so he would still
age like normal people would age, even though he's got
the super serum.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
In the in there.

Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
Yeah yeah, yeah, so that that was never an effect.
The serum had no effect on his aging. The only
thing that kept him young was essentially freezing, and so
you can kind of equate it to cryogenic freezing. So
if you've seen trauma, they cryogenically froze fucking fry and
he came out to but yeah, the exact same way,
and the normal human would.

Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
After Okay, at least in that story.

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
Okay, So so theoretically, Captain of my it's still as
like a five year old man can still function.

Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Up, yes, because that's one thing he is still very
fucking strong and enhanced, so there's no reason to believe
he's the same level as he was.

Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
But he's still gonna be He's gonna be able to
kick you. I don't think he's ready to try and
choke out Ultron again.

Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
Yeah, yeah, which I love that meme where it's like
this motherfucker tried to choke a robot.

Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
Yeah uh and tighten if you if you remember on
end game he tries to choke.

Speaker 5 (01:05:43):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
But but at least the at least Fantos has a tricky.

Speaker 7 (01:05:50):
Yeah, true, Yeah, he actually needs a breathe there.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Can you imagine fucking Captain America just like he's like
trying to trying to yield justice in the retirement home,
nazis out of Thomas.

Speaker 7 (01:06:12):
What's her name?

Speaker 5 (01:06:19):
So that's pretty cool. That's what That's how the universe
is going to be going now.

Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
Huh. I'm very g because there's a lot of stuff.
There's there's so many like little easter.

Speaker 4 (01:06:28):
Eggs, which Marvels very very good at so far at
just putting things that that may be consequential, but they
just basically leave the door open. We still don't understand
wet we don't know the characters besides Wanda Envision, we
know the actors for some of these. So you have
Catherine Hahn, who is an unknown character but is already

(01:06:49):
speculated to be someone who plays a major role in
Wanda's life in the comics. Uh yeah, Maria Rambo is
going to be in there as as an adult, and
you saw her as a kid in the Captain Marvel film.

Speaker 3 (01:07:01):
She was the daughter. Uh and then let's see.

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
Who So for whatever reason, Cat Dennings is also back
in WandaVision as Darcy, which is everyone's character really yeah,
and if you're she's my character.

Speaker 3 (01:07:17):
I love Kat Dennings and I don't like like.

Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
Bro, which was this bro but can was the the
science assistant to uh.

Speaker 5 (01:07:30):
To what she can?

Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
That's right, we're like miil Nore.

Speaker 5 (01:07:36):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah movies.

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
And so for whatever she's back in this one, which
I from what I haven't I haven't seen anything like
Natalie Portman or anything, so she I don't know what
she's doing specifically. But also we have if you're a
fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, very randomly this week,
it was revealed that Emma Coulson was also going to
be in there, and she was having to keep it
a secret for some reason.

Speaker 3 (01:08:02):
So that's gonna be.

Speaker 7 (01:08:03):
Something that's very interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
And I know she's not Buffy, she's not a household name,
but she played Anya, the vengeance demon that later on
when she was introduced, Yeah, yeah, Okay was part of
the main cast, and so I was like, why would
she have to be kept a secret?

Speaker 3 (01:08:18):
So I'm very curious as to what role she's going
to play in.

Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
This, right Well, Okay, so I know, I know I
talked about it before, but I told you just based
on that New rock Stars review that I watched, or
breakdown that I watched, what do you what do you
guys think is going on in Wanda Vision? Because because
like I said before, there's this this theory that that
it's a it's a track. It's like she's in some

(01:08:41):
sort of prison and this is what she's this is
what she's doing to either cope with the prison that
she's in or or she's actually trapped in this in
this reality that doesn't really exist.

Speaker 4 (01:08:54):
I'm gonna I'm gonna see if Ricky wants to go first,
and then I'll give mine because mine's probably gonna be
more long winded.

Speaker 3 (01:09:00):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:09:02):
I haven't heard any of these theories. I'm trying to
stay away because I want to go in fresh.

Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
And I respect, I would love to, but I'm also
I'm so curious and because I know, because I'm so
interested in the comics itself, and they all have some
sort of of precedents where it's like in the comics
they did exist, and they're going to pull from that
and change it, which they have, which.

Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
They have time and time again. You know. I was
just they're parallel, yeah, a lot, or they're at least
pulling from the comics and following it. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
Yeah, you have any sort of theory as to what
you think is going to go on and have.

Speaker 5 (01:09:38):
The theories that you guys are That's why I was asking.
Some of these theories right now are like the first
time I've ever I mean, I saw that most most
of my research was just the trailer, but I didn't
know where it fit into that, Like I didn't know
where it was in the timeline. So you know, so
that that's but it's all making sense on everything he
has are telling me. But I mean I can definitely
see I can definitely see because the stone doesn't make sense. Yeah,

(01:10:02):
so you definitely see that, like you're through your interpretation,
like you know it's her mind. Then also I can
see like depending on where it is in the timeline,
it could be before or after.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Well, it's definitely her creating this this this this sort
of reality that that's not necessarily happening. That's that's what
we've established. But we don't know whether it's it's just
it's just because she's she's depressed and she's like and
we don't know what, we don't know what time she's trapped.
She's trapped in this weird sick Coomi fucking you know,

(01:10:35):
and and the Mindstone, and there are there are shots
in the trailer that show her in her cell from
when they found her an age of Ultron, which means
we might get a fucking backstory about how she got
her powers from the Mindstone, which is why we're we're
led to understand. The reason she's so connected to vision
is because vision's powered by the Mindstone, and so it's
she So is she?

Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense there, Yeah, I
think that. I mean, obviously, the MCU can do whatever
they want. That's going to be completely could be completely
different than anything that had been set as a president
in the MCU but in the Marvel comics. But what
I love about it that they haven't even tapped into
that they started to kind of allude to in Endgame,

(01:11:21):
is how powerful Wand actually is.

Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
She could take herself.

Speaker 4 (01:11:26):
Yeah, one v one her versus Thanos No, no infinity stones,
she wins. Yeah, absolutely, And so the the thing is
that that was just her on a physical power level
that she was. But they haven't even shown like the
reality warping things, which I think this is one thing
in the comics. Marvel has so many fucking reality warping characters.

Speaker 3 (01:11:50):
It's really weird. Like if you look at just just.

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
You have DC and you have Marvel and and a
lot of times people are like, oh DC DC characters
are overpowered because they got Superman and Wonder Woman. I'm like, fuck, no,
have you seen the characters that nobody talks not nobody.

Speaker 7 (01:12:07):
But like no one is that familiar with, Like they're
not string.

Speaker 5 (01:12:12):
Yeah, you have so many reality.

Speaker 4 (01:12:14):
Warping characters in in Marvel, And the thing is that
the way that they actually tackle it is not as
as grounded as DC. So just like how in Endgame
and in Infinity War, Fanas does things with a snap.
Tons of characters can just snap things in Marvel in
the comics.

Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
Whereas in d C.

Speaker 4 (01:12:34):
Usually they're vastly powered like Superman. But Superman is gonna
take a while to you know, get shited done. He's
not gonna snap and the planet or destroy the life.
He can punch through planets and then in the comics,
of course he can do ridiculous shit, but it takes
time and it takes effort versus a snap that many
characters can do in Marvel, which is why they actually

(01:12:55):
have so much that they can pull from for the
future of the MCU. And I think this is just
the yip of the iceberg as far as any sort
of reality changing things that they could go down the
route of being.

Speaker 7 (01:13:06):
Someone that can.

Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
I think this is going to be the back door
that will lead to the introduction of mutants for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
Yes, absolutely, and and and yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
There is just so much.

Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
I think this is gonna bring a lot of that
stuff in there Deadpool, which is also another thing that
happened this past week is that Deadpool three is confirmed
to be in the MCU and righted R, which is
great for everyone.

Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
One more thing about One Division. Here's why I think
we're definitely getting a little more mutants. We're not sure
which ones, but because it's because I mean, there's no
way we can just totally just uh, I think that
they only got two, you know, right.

Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
Out of they're miracles.

Speaker 1 (01:13:55):
Okay, but listen, that's what I'm saying. Is what I'm
saying is in that same fucking place, could have been
testing from the Mindstone and others with with Loki Sceptor,
all all kinds of different people, so we could know
they definitely did They said it, they said yeah, so
so uh so we we could definitely have way more
mutants and and enhanced you know humans in the next

(01:14:18):
uh in the next phase you know.

Speaker 7 (01:14:20):
Yeah, absolutely for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
Absolutely, but hearing something in your background.

Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
Sorry, that's Doug, just talking ship. We're gonna move forward
from that.

Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
I can't wait to see the first two episodes or
I mean, we're assuming we're getting the first two episodes
of One Division this Friday.

Speaker 3 (01:14:42):
Fucker, that's so much a guess you're but yeah, so
we will give our input on that.

Speaker 4 (01:14:48):
Let's give a little quick input to I know that myself,
Ryan and Ricky also a soul.

Speaker 3 (01:14:54):
We didn't really get.

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
I have to pee real quick, so if you gotta
talk to anybody, talk to Rob. Did not watch it,
whatever you guys, Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:15:05):
For a couple of days now, huh weeks.

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
It's taken out Christmas.

Speaker 7 (01:15:10):
Christmas?

Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:15:14):
Who who made that one?

Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (01:15:17):
Uh? Pixar? Yeah pretty good?

Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 4 (01:15:22):
I mean I think I've seen to date every Pixar
uh Pixar slash Disney film except for The Good Dinosaur,
because I have either of you seen The Good Dinosaur
was all right, Yeah, that's the only one that I
hadn't seen. Not not because I mean I did hear
it wasn't great, great, but I also just never had

(01:15:43):
the opportunity or took the opportunity when it was out
to go see it. And then even though I have
Disney Plus now, like nothing about it made me think
I really need to see this. But I've loved most Okay,
I took that back. I haven't seen like cars too, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:16:03):
Well not all the way through all. My sister's nine
years younger than me, so it's kind of my default,
you know it and like it's on and it's residual,
so either I'm not watching or paying attention, but it's
still there.

Speaker 3 (01:16:14):
I kind of know what's going on still, you know,
So how old are you if I'm an asked.

Speaker 5 (01:16:19):
Oh, thirty two? Man, okay, I got to high school
and O seven, So you guys were like.

Speaker 4 (01:16:25):
Yeah, yeah, I thought you meant like because you're like,
my sister's nine years younger and she's like it's on.

Speaker 7 (01:16:29):
I'm like, what's you an infant?

Speaker 5 (01:16:32):
I mean, because you know, that's that's the whole reason
why she wanted to get Disney Plus. I was like, oh, dude,
don't like you know when she was younger too, obviously,
Like yeah, that's that's the only reason why I'm familiar
with most of the Disney things that are going on,
Like you know, between my little sister and all like
the girl cousins that were around like that, you know,
it was always on. It was always on, like you
couldn't know, I couldn't avoid it. So but like the

(01:16:54):
whole Disney Plus things, man, the whole like Disney Plus
thing too. Like she wanted to get it, and uh,
she had a smart TV and then I'd let her
have my uh PlayStation three so they can put it
in the living room. Okay, yeah, so she put she
put the Disney Plus app on there on, you know,
on my PlayStation, and she was like, oh, hey, I

(01:17:15):
got Disney Plus. You can get it through your PlayStation. Literally,
I just watched The Mandalorian so many reason why I
wanted to watch it. That's the reason why I need
a Disney Plus. So I was like, oh, thanks, yeah,
I mean you liked it. It was awesome, Like you
would you would recommend it to somebody who wants to,
like you a movie night or something. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:17:35):
Yeah, so we'll definitely that right now then, I would say.
So for me, Soul was something that I didn't really
know what to expect. I feel like there wasn't a
ton of information given in the trailers that I had
seen prior to them putting on the streaming service Grant
and and and that's the thing too. We're in a pandemic,
so I'm kind of paying attention to a lot more stuff.

(01:17:55):
Soul is not what I expected, but I loved it.
But it wasn't as hard hitting as edit things. So
there's like, yeah, there's a lot of there's there's stuff
going on that I'm like, Okay, that's cool. Every Pixar
movie seems to be like pretty good at tugging at
your heartstrings and teaching a lesson. I I this is
This is definitely in that same category. I loved it

(01:18:18):
very much. So it just wasn't something that I think
was as as heartbreaking as as a lot of edit
things like I remember watching Inside Out and like a
lot of things and like fuck that, like, huh, movie
you haven't seen inside.

Speaker 5 (01:18:38):
Watching again, that's another thing, Like movies like that they're
on and I know I just hadn't seen it inside Out.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
Actually, I think it was one of the most underrated ones.

Speaker 5 (01:18:50):
That one too. Yeah, yeah, there's dreams. I hate to
get off subject because but just so I get my
my senses straight. Yeah. Uh does DreamWorks also do things
with Disney or the choice Pixar DreamWorks is dream Works
is through? Okay, there you go? All right, Yeah, okay,

(01:19:11):
that's an apping question. Back to where we're talking about.

Speaker 7 (01:19:14):
We're all good.

Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
We're here to answer everyone's questions.

Speaker 7 (01:19:16):
We're here for that information.

Speaker 5 (01:19:18):
I kind of like you guys know a lot about
You guys know a lot about I would say I'm
more of like a little not. I wouldn't say I
read a little bit of the comics in the Marvel universe,
but I was more of a Batman guy myself. So uh,
but I was like the in depth, like these are
the questions that I always have when I see trailers,
and like when I read stuff online or you know,

(01:19:39):
or you see like on YouTube, when you get trailers,
or like when something comes out of your little news feed.
You know, I never know who to ask any any
of these questions, toupid. Now that I met Ryan, I've
been asking you a bunch of Yeah, that's why I'm here, man,
I asked him a bunch of stuff. I was like, hey,
what is this mean? What was that? Because I only
know everything I know because again, oh right, but I

(01:20:02):
think it's all interesting, man, I think it's all great.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
Uh yeah, Like like we all have our own like
niches or whatever niche technically and like I love movies.

Speaker 5 (01:20:14):
I love movies.

Speaker 3 (01:20:17):
Thanks, you know, I love that that that Ryan doesn't love.
But you love movies. Trust me on that one.

Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
I've been getting into it because Garrett loves movies, but
he will he like refuses to watch like classic movies.
I don't refuse that it's just like like he had
never watched The Shining before. Okay, it was so we
sat down and watched The Shining. I made him watch
The Shining and The Thing, which are two of my
favorite horror movies. They're two very vastive, you know, they're

(01:20:47):
fast different. He loved the Thing, yeah, hated The Shining.

Speaker 5 (01:20:52):
Okay, but he does.

Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
I'm just saying, like there's a lot of he's never
seen The Godfather. He doesn't like that, man.

Speaker 2 (01:21:01):
You know, you know, sometimes it's just like.

Speaker 5 (01:21:11):
It is like those crime movies, fucking Casino, like, uh,
I love, I know what it is. I think it's
because you know, and you know what, there's a lot
of people who are from those communities who do not
like those movies either.

Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
You know, I mean, at least a Bronx tail at
least hold on, yeah, yeah, right right, Okay, I know
we're getting off topic here. I'm signed you, but but
at least you got to watch a Bronx tail. A
Bronx tails is great.

Speaker 5 (01:21:39):
You can write you know what if Yeah that was
interesting because you know, if you like stories, because it's
a love story. Absolutely, it's a it's a love story.
It's not it's not. It's on the Netflix s you
might want to pick that up.

Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
I'm actually very curious about that.

Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
The the the science, not the science, the psychology behind
what make a movie appealing to somebody and overall, I mean,
there are a few that I'm trying to think of
and I honestly can't right now.

Speaker 3 (01:22:08):
Granted I've finished this bottle of beer. You see a
big Yeah, I know it.

Speaker 5 (01:22:15):
Is it almost done now, it's gone, man, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:22:22):
But no, when it goes off.

Speaker 4 (01:22:25):
Also, movies and like crime movies, I'm like, I've never
been It's not it's been appealing to me. Really, I
do enjoy a handful of them. It just it just
kind of depends on certain things, I guess. But when
it comes to older movies, and I've said this many
at times, it's like I do appreciate certain things, but
a lot of times things have been made better over time.

Speaker 5 (01:22:48):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (01:22:50):
Let me ask you something, when's the last time you
watched The Exorcist?

Speaker 7 (01:22:56):
I have seen it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:56):
I can't remember the last time I saw it. I
can't give you a date when I was a teenager.
Sometimes that movie still freaks me out. It's like one
of my it's still one of the best.

Speaker 5 (01:23:08):
Fucking watched it one of the halloweens before all this started.

Speaker 3 (01:23:11):
Yeah, I'm also not a horror buff either.

Speaker 5 (01:23:14):
Yeah, me either. I mean, I just I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:23:16):
But it's still it's still. What I'm saying is that
movie came out what seventy fucking four? Doug, what year
did that movie come out? About? Seventy four? Okay, so
uh it's and it still holds up with the with
the the message, the story, and and the fucking effects

(01:23:37):
are are.

Speaker 5 (01:23:39):
The makeup amazing?

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
Yeah, it's it's still holds up as one of the
most terrifying horror movies of all time.

Speaker 4 (01:23:46):
You know, it's like, what do you seventy three? Yeah,
seventy three, what do you guys can see? I was
a year off one of the scariest movies you've seen A.

Speaker 2 (01:23:57):
Month after it came out.

Speaker 5 (01:23:59):
That's cool man in and it was what the movie
ticket was? Somebody drugged me to it? I seen it? Yeah,
but yeah, no, that's for what was the question? This

(01:24:22):
also comes with the old movies.

Speaker 3 (01:24:24):
What do you think is like one of the scariest.

Speaker 5 (01:24:27):
Scariest Exorcists, the one that freaked me out? Well, I
would see the Exorcist and and the nineties.

Speaker 1 (01:24:35):
Uh it for some you know are on this same
uh the same level there.

Speaker 4 (01:24:41):
But that was scary, especially when we when we were
when we saw it because we saw kids decided that
that was a good idea to show up.

Speaker 1 (01:24:51):
Well, I was tortured by it. My older brother locked
me in every room and uh and and at the time,
I was on my grandparents and they had a TV
in the kitchen and the fucking background. Every bedroom had
a fucking TV, so everywhere I couldn't get away from it.
And so every time, so my older brother, every time
I would try and leave the room because I didn't
want to watch it, he would he would lock me

(01:25:11):
in the room and turn the TV on and put
it on that channel.

Speaker 5 (01:25:14):
And force meat. I would say that, well, that freak
as a kid, that was freaking Yeah, for sure. You
know you know which ones they don't. They freaked me
out because it's like the whole like, especially now everybody's
doing like all these space you know, these space movies
and stuff, like you get launched out and fucking zero

(01:25:34):
gravity and you're like floating off into oblivion. That freaks
me out.

Speaker 1 (01:25:38):
Okay, so we're talking about what we're talking about. Scary Okay,
floating off into oblivion? Yeah, like gravity, Yeah that scares me.
I guess okay, no, that is that's a horror kid
horror concept.

Speaker 5 (01:25:54):
As a kid, I definitely think what about you? What
about you were here?

Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
I know you don't watch many horror movies because too
many scariest, but what's up?

Speaker 5 (01:26:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:26:03):
The last scary one I guess was probably be wasn't
one of the clapping I read the name of it all.

Speaker 5 (01:26:08):
The conjuring, conjuring. We all we all watched that one together.
That was great. I hated that like that.

Speaker 4 (01:26:15):
That was at that point I had already developed my
my way of being able to like I was like,
all right, I know something's gonna happen, so I just
start looking at the bottom of the room, like.

Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
Happened.

Speaker 4 (01:26:30):
I know it's gonna happen the bottom of the room.
And I'm like, I'm not gonna I'm not, I'm not,
I'm not gonna look straight at it. And I look
straight at it.

Speaker 5 (01:26:38):
Oh, dude, I want to watch scary movies that you
guys so fun.

Speaker 4 (01:26:43):
Here.

Speaker 5 (01:26:44):
Here's the thing is, I'm a I'm a huge.

Speaker 1 (01:26:46):
Wimp when it comes to watching movies. Wat horror movies. Yeah,
I was just I want to see but I love
horror movies. Yeah, so I went to see it chapter
two and have you seen it? No, So there's a
part where you know they're they're the adults, right, So
part two they're they're adults. And and so Bill Hayter's
characters is like in this area where he remembers seeing

(01:27:10):
the clown, like in this in this area right and
right where there's this fucking giant Paul Bunyan statue and
he's staring at the Paul Bunyan statue and he sits down.

Speaker 5 (01:27:22):
And I knew this was coming. I like I knew
it was coming, but.

Speaker 1 (01:27:27):
I had I was I had just gotten my snacks
like I had because like I had an amc A
list and so I would So from my seat, I
ordered a pizza and and so I went and got
my pizza.

Speaker 5 (01:27:37):
I came back my flatbread pizza. You were in public.
I thought you were at the house and in a
packed theater. We're a packed theater.

Speaker 1 (01:27:47):
And so I'm so into my pizza and I'm watching
this fucking and so like I'm so I'm like mid
bite and and the the Paul Bunyan statue comes to
life and it.

Speaker 2 (01:28:01):
And he just turns and I legit, I screamed. I
screamed like this, yes, I like and.

Speaker 5 (01:28:13):
It was legitimate. It wasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:28:14):
I wasn't fucking around.

Speaker 5 (01:28:15):
That's how.

Speaker 1 (01:28:16):
That's how I screamed that loud in the theater. And everyone,
everyone on my fucking road jumped because I yelled. I realized,
and I was so embarrassed. I just kind of put
my head down and just and I just turned red.
But all my friends who were in the room in

(01:28:38):
the theater movie, they were just fucking dying.

Speaker 5 (01:28:40):
This is awesome.

Speaker 13 (01:28:41):
When this is all over, When this is all over,
I would like, Oh, like, we're gonna go, uh watch movies,
you guys in the theater so I can hit the table.

Speaker 5 (01:28:52):
That's all right, We're good.

Speaker 3 (01:28:56):
I love when like, like big guys are scaredy cats.

Speaker 4 (01:29:00):
There is a guy that that he was on one
of the shows that I used to watch, and he
is known for being like the biggest real life for
the fact for the like to the point that people
think he's faking it, but he's not.

Speaker 3 (01:29:13):
And and I remember because he was.

Speaker 5 (01:29:15):
That's just funny.

Speaker 3 (01:29:23):
He was doing a morning show and and and they
they didn't tell him, but this was to promote what
was it us, the you know that movie? And then
and then they.

Speaker 4 (01:29:37):
Brought one of the tethered in and he fucking flipped out.
I'm trying to find the clips I can show you guys. Yeah,
I'm gonna show you right now. There it is, okay,
cool'n I'm gonna I'm gonna show you, show you just
just this clip because I fucking love it.

Speaker 10 (01:29:49):
And and okay, all right, oh collet, okay, yeah, what.

Speaker 3 (01:30:00):
What's the guy in the blue shirt?

Speaker 5 (01:30:01):
Guy in the blue shirt?

Speaker 3 (01:30:03):
No, this is I've got five on it. It's what
it sounded like, very quietly wrong. But I didn't sound
like that didn't sound like us. Yeah yeah, so him.

Speaker 1 (01:30:15):
Yeah, and seeing him know just the middle of that
back when that meant you're walking through life and then that.

Speaker 3 (01:30:22):
Just watch the camera, so we just had.

Speaker 5 (01:30:54):
Happened from it for you.

Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
Yeah, that is I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (01:31:07):
Oh she's dressed like the oh the girl.

Speaker 5 (01:31:10):
Okay, I didn't notice that scissors.

Speaker 7 (01:31:19):
I have a little too much.

Speaker 5 (01:31:22):
Although I'll tell you what, she's definitely doesn't look like
she likes you very much.

Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
You want to open this on the floor, Josh, you
want to come to the Big Boys table.

Speaker 5 (01:31:35):
Chair.

Speaker 1 (01:31:36):
You're like protecting him there no, God, no, he that's
an act, bro.

Speaker 5 (01:31:43):
He can't be acted like.

Speaker 3 (01:31:46):
Trust me. There's like footage of him like it, like
they took him the Horror Nights.

Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
They they literally had him like he hates scary movies,
like probably more than way more than Ricky for sure,
and made him the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:32:01):
As I know for a Facty likes scary movies. Ricky
Reaky does like scary movies. It's just that he's literally
to somebody who won't let him watch scary movies talking to.

Speaker 7 (01:32:10):
A boy, I don't watch them by myself.

Speaker 5 (01:32:12):
What the fuck.

Speaker 3 (01:32:15):
By myself?

Speaker 1 (01:32:16):
But you love like Horror Nights and ship like that,
like you know we got Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Don't tell me you don't like scary movies.

Speaker 5 (01:32:25):
That's bullshit. No.

Speaker 4 (01:32:27):
But it's like it's like me, I am not gonna
put on a scary movie by myself. It's a group.
Horror movies are a group of thing.

Speaker 5 (01:32:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:32:34):
One of the worst, one of the worst movies I
ever did was watch Watch on Citius by myself in
a haunted house.

Speaker 5 (01:32:41):
Yeah, I kind of feel we're telling you guys this.
I sit at home by myself, and I watch scary movies.
You know, I have, I have.

Speaker 1 (01:32:49):
I pay for Shutter on fucking on Amazon.

Speaker 5 (01:32:53):
I'm weird.

Speaker 1 (01:32:54):
No, No, I watched scary movies all the time. But
these guys, but like, I don't know, I appreciate it
for the art form, you know, not really like it's not.

Speaker 5 (01:33:03):
I just find some of the stories interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
Yeah, those of are fucking whack.

Speaker 5 (01:33:07):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:33:08):
I see why Garrett hates them. I see why Ricky
hates them.

Speaker 4 (01:33:11):
I like seeing them with people, so like we we
like you said, we watched The Conjuring, Seen Insidious. I love,
I love watching all of the paranormal movie paranormal activity movies.
But with people, it's a group thing.

Speaker 5 (01:33:29):
I just don't want myself. Yeah, well I watched I
think I watched most of those again with my sister.
My sister found all those movies interesting too.

Speaker 1 (01:33:37):
Yeah, they are more they're they're like they're almost like, yeah,
they're they're a group setting movies, I guess, you know,
But but I feel the same way about about the
big blockbusters you know, like I mean, but I although
I could watch you know, like Endgame like a thousand
times for myself.

Speaker 4 (01:33:53):
But I did a whole rewatch of the MCU. Like
all those things, I happily watch by myself. When it
comes through scary movies specifically, I don't care to watch them.

Speaker 5 (01:34:04):
Is it because you don't like being scared?

Speaker 4 (01:34:06):
Because it's because afterwards I get really like I have
a very active imagination and even though I know it's
not real, I picked it as being a thing to
this day. Like I told you, the last scary movie
I saw was Hereditary, and just god, I can picture
things in my head and even though I know it's
not real, it's just there.

Speaker 7 (01:34:28):
I don't like it.

Speaker 5 (01:34:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:34:31):
I want to be around people so that we can
talk about things later, we can talk them to watch.

Speaker 1 (01:34:35):
Did you watch Midsommer?

Speaker 5 (01:34:37):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:34:38):
I will at some point, but I haven't.

Speaker 1 (01:34:41):
It's a pretty fucked up movie too. Yeah, it's the
same director writer for Hereditary. Yeah, I've heard some.

Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
Some I've heard.

Speaker 4 (01:34:48):
I've heard about it and I like it because I
don't think anything about Midsommar has really been spoiled for me.

Speaker 3 (01:34:54):
Uh what Hereditary was a little bit Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:34:58):
Yeah, Midsommer's it's kinda it's and it's a very interesting
story too, which keeps you fucking really like invested, you know,
and it's and it's again, it's not one of those
like it's it's more psychological than it is like paranormal.
You know, you're kind of like, you're like, what the
fuck is up with these people?

Speaker 5 (01:35:15):
Is this ship? You know?

Speaker 1 (01:35:18):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's what I see what you
mean though, Like the paranormal stuff is the stuff that
freaks me out the most, that that that would give
me an overactive imagination.

Speaker 4 (01:35:30):
But the uh, the laster fixed that Slasher picks I
have I have never had an issue with. Once you
start getting paranormal, it's it's literally what is my brain
and my imagination? It's this makes no sense, but it's happening.
And that's the thing with paranormal it gives it a pass.
It's like it doesn't make any sense because it doesn't
obey any of the laws of science, but it's happening.

(01:35:52):
That's why I'm like Freddy Jason, Freddy Jason, Michael Myers,
I don't give a fuck. Those are whatever. When you like,
I started watching a nightmare on Nightmare on Elm Street.
I'm like, fuck, if I fall asleep, he can do anything, right, right, Yeah,
that's actually one of the things that I think was.

Speaker 3 (01:36:09):
Like, I need to look into lucid dreaming and being
able to control myself.

Speaker 5 (01:36:12):
While I'm dream.

Speaker 1 (01:36:13):
Well, they did that in uh A Nightmare too, right.
They pull them out of the dream and beat the
ship out of They.

Speaker 5 (01:36:19):
Do that in all the movies.

Speaker 4 (01:36:20):
But what I'm saying is like, if I'm in my
own dream and I can actually control things, then I
have a much I feel safer.

Speaker 3 (01:36:26):
I just I just feel safer. And I haven't really
had nightmare like full on nightmares, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:36:31):
Once I figured out I can do that, I've had
weird scenarios that are kind of weird and sketchy.

Speaker 3 (01:36:35):
But I'm like, no, there's a dream, and I just
fucking change it.

Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
If you can, if you can move in my brain
for a day, man, it'd be fucking I don't want
to and my night my nights have been wild.

Speaker 7 (01:36:51):
You already already gave me crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:36:54):
I would have dreams, Ricky say again.

Speaker 7 (01:36:58):
I was on blood pressure medication and it gave me
just crazy. Really had to switch my medication.

Speaker 5 (01:37:05):
Oh it was. It was a side effect to the.

Speaker 3 (01:37:09):
Yeah, possible side effect may see satan.

Speaker 5 (01:37:15):
Crazy as we know.

Speaker 1 (01:37:17):
It's what's weird is is I'll fucking flail out of
a dream and and and in my room is a
full body mirror. So when so so when I like
fling up out of bed, I'm staring at myself and
then I freaked myself out even more like in reality
because it's all dark and there's just a silhouette standing

(01:37:40):
in front of me, you know, so you.

Speaker 7 (01:37:46):
Move your arm and it doesn't move off.

Speaker 5 (01:37:51):
I'm gonna buy you a thumbs The tinkers the night anyway,
were before we were on this tangent.

Speaker 4 (01:37:58):
I'm sorry, guys, I was gonna say, I act, you
have a footage of Ryan. I don't know, Rob, have
you have you slept over at Ryan's house or like been?

Speaker 5 (01:38:05):
I have my own house.

Speaker 4 (01:38:07):
No, we all grew up together, so like we we
know each other's sleep patterns kind of, And I actually
have footage of Ryan sleeping.

Speaker 7 (01:38:15):
It's it's it's.

Speaker 5 (01:38:19):
Is this a bit?

Speaker 3 (01:38:20):
This is a Ryan's slagrond let me, yeah, that's Ryan
and Letty this is actually.

Speaker 7 (01:38:36):
Yeah, turned up a little bit.

Speaker 5 (01:38:41):
I fucking love that movie as much as it goes.
It lives on Netflix.

Speaker 4 (01:38:50):
Now, Yeah, yeah, actually Ryan sounds better? No right, Ryan
actually said Ryan actually sounds worse, is what I was
gonna say.

Speaker 7 (01:39:06):
Sorry, yeah I do.

Speaker 4 (01:39:09):
I don't know if I still have that video of you,
but like so we went funny enough. I don't know
if it was that funny, to be honest, but I
don't know why I.

Speaker 3 (01:39:16):
Said that we would a funeral to a funeral. And
then Ryan and I came back.

Speaker 4 (01:39:26):
He chugged one of my energy drinks and then passed out,
and then it was just it sounded like the word
I've ever heard in the car. No, well, you were
in the car, but no, when we got here back
to my house, you chill it on my drinks, passed
out on my couch, and he's like, like, you sound

(01:39:50):
like a fucking walker from the that's just.

Speaker 1 (01:39:52):
My app noa but but but when I have my
night terrors, you guys, don't you guys that?

Speaker 5 (01:40:01):
Yeah? What did I start screaming too?

Speaker 1 (01:40:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:40:09):
Okay, even my recordings weren't the best, weren't more like
the craziest.

Speaker 3 (01:40:14):
You you fucking went through some weird ship yeah, it happens.

Speaker 7 (01:40:19):
It's very bad. I ape real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:40:22):
So actually, actually this is kind of a sad story,
but it's funny at the same time.

Speaker 5 (01:40:30):
But uh.

Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
Uh, the weekend after I caught my fiance cheating and left,
I was, I ended up crashing at Matt and Amanda's apartment,
which is my brother and his girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (01:40:44):
Right, So they picked me up. That was a fucking mess, right,
So they picked me up and and.

Speaker 1 (01:40:51):
We go out and we have drinks and I just
just blow all my money on like just fucking shots
and you know, hanging out and getting drunk. And I
wind up back place and I'm blackout drunk. I have
no idea, and so I fall asleep on the hardwood floor.
But it's like nine pm and Amanda and yeah, and

(01:41:14):
Amanda is like in the back and the balcony smoking
a cigarette. But she's like filming the sky. But you
can hear me in the front. You can hear me
in the bedroom going or in the in the living
room going, but you're laying on the ground.

Speaker 5 (01:41:31):
I'm asleep. I was completely screaming, screaming at the ground.

Speaker 1 (01:41:40):
I gotta say those were the times where it was
the absolute worst because I.

Speaker 5 (01:41:45):
Was very much in pain.

Speaker 3 (01:41:47):
Yeah, I can see that for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:41:50):
And when that funeral happened, that was around that same time.

Speaker 3 (01:41:55):
Okay, yeah, I think it was. Yeah, yeah, shit happens.

Speaker 4 (01:42:01):
Bro, It's just it's fucking weird and like, but you've
always been up a really bad storm, like our entire
lives too, for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:42:08):
So it was Ricky.

Speaker 4 (01:42:09):
But yeah, well, I mean, I can't remember the last
time I slept in the same room as Ricky, but
I remember the last time I slept in the fucking
same house as you.

Speaker 3 (01:42:19):
I was like, I can hear you through the walls.
Oh sho, yeah, you made me sleep with earplugs.

Speaker 5 (01:42:25):
Da. Yeah, you're welcome now, I know the bitch. No,
it's bad.

Speaker 1 (01:42:30):
I know it's bad. I gotta and and you know
what we were talking about this is that I think
we're talking about the last time I was actually gonna
go get sleep studies done and uh COVID.

Speaker 5 (01:42:40):
Yeah, get you one of the mouth guards.

Speaker 7 (01:42:42):
Due.

Speaker 1 (01:42:43):
I had a mouth guard, and I fucking somehow in
my sleep took it out of my mouth and threw
it somewhere and I never found.

Speaker 3 (01:42:51):
Maybe let me eat it.

Speaker 5 (01:42:53):
I don't know what happened. To it. It disappeared. Bro.

Speaker 1 (01:42:55):
Like, I was like, Jesus, I hadn't molded to my
mouth and everything, and.

Speaker 3 (01:42:58):
Yeah, I was like, if you can't find it, especially
after movie, yeah, maybe let me aid it.

Speaker 5 (01:43:03):
Yeah, we definitely I should get another one. Though it
didn't help. The mouth card helped. I had one for
a while.

Speaker 7 (01:43:09):
That's good. That's good.

Speaker 3 (01:43:10):
Yeah, all right, Uh, last story on my end. This
is all about streaming and stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:43:17):
Today, Netflix kind of dropped a little bit of a
sizzle reel that basically kind of gave their twenty twenty
one film slate, which is actually pretty cool because I mean, dude,
Netflix has definitely become a definitely big player in the
whole cinematic sort of of game because before, like I mean, obviously,

(01:43:40):
Netflix is actually you guys, remember when Netflix used to
just be about the fucking DVDs.

Speaker 3 (01:43:45):
In your mailbox?

Speaker 5 (01:43:46):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:43:47):
Now it's a full on movie studio.

Speaker 1 (01:43:49):
I was one of the first fucking signer uppers.

Speaker 7 (01:43:52):
Yep, signer uppers.

Speaker 5 (01:43:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:43:55):
Okay, Well, they released a sizzle reel about their upcoming
things that they're saying, basically that they're gonna have a
new movie every single week.

Speaker 3 (01:44:05):
On on that next street, and just some notable ones.

Speaker 4 (01:44:11):
You have Red Notice with the rock Galbo and Ryan Reynolds,
who love Ryan Reynolds. Uh, and then you have this
random one that that dude I didn't see coming or
I haven't heard anything about, uh what what? I'm trying
to find the name of it, but it has Leonardo
DiCaprio and and and fucking Jenla what is it?

Speaker 3 (01:44:34):
Jeniffer Lawrence? I haven't seen the Jennifer Lawrence.

Speaker 7 (01:44:38):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
She like she she like blew up and everyone was
talking about her, and then I think she did it right?

Speaker 7 (01:44:45):
Person, what's what's your.

Speaker 5 (01:44:54):
She's just like she wants pizza.

Speaker 4 (01:44:58):
Back back in the day I loved like we all know,
we all know for sure, but uh yeah, I don't know,
bro either way, she she duck.

Speaker 3 (01:45:09):
She fucking laid low for a while, which I mean
is a smart move because.

Speaker 1 (01:45:12):
Of she was because she was a huge advocate, like
anti Trump, like fucking what four years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:45:19):
Right, not just four years ago? She was has been
like gone gone.

Speaker 1 (01:45:26):
But she also hasn't had anything to promote.

Speaker 5 (01:45:28):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:45:28):
She's been on for like four years, That's what I mean,
like three or four.

Speaker 3 (01:45:30):
Years when did Mother come out? Mother?

Speaker 4 (01:45:41):
But either way, like there was a thing with her
and and and Leonardo DiCaprio, and that being a first
of all, you hear those two names, you know, that's
like a gonna be an Awards contender, because first of all,
Leo DiCaprio doesn't do things that aren't going to be notable.

Speaker 7 (01:45:55):
And then it's a Netflix film, So.

Speaker 1 (01:45:57):
I'm like, what nobody once upon a time in Hollywood?

Speaker 3 (01:46:02):
I think that, to be honest.

Speaker 5 (01:46:05):
When the fucking fuck? What? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
All right, so Mother was twenty seventeen, but Dark Phoenix
was twenty nineteen.

Speaker 3 (01:46:11):
So you lay low for about a year.

Speaker 5 (01:46:15):
What else? Whatever?

Speaker 7 (01:46:17):
Yeah, she was in Dark Phoenix last year.

Speaker 1 (01:46:20):
Yeah, you lither. It was fucking dog shit too though. Yeah,
there's a steaming pile. Have you seen We're fucking new Mutants?

Speaker 5 (01:46:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:46:35):
Where is it again? It was on Amazon?

Speaker 5 (01:46:37):
Right? Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:46:38):
I don't I don't even remember.

Speaker 7 (01:46:39):
I didn't check it out yet.

Speaker 1 (01:46:40):
I think it's on Amazon. I have not watched it.

Speaker 5 (01:46:43):
I planned to.

Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
Mutants.

Speaker 1 (01:46:47):
Isn't that funny that they had the two chicks some
Game of Thrones who played sisters, both by mutants in
the same universe.

Speaker 7 (01:46:53):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, it was the bigger show at
one point and then completely dead off.

Speaker 1 (01:46:59):
Yeah, but I mean, dude talks about Game of Thrones anymore,
not all that's.

Speaker 7 (01:47:05):
Just gone that last season completely real.

Speaker 1 (01:47:09):
Yeah, except that's what you Fox talked about, which finally
got me on board. I fucking I fucking steamrolled through
seven seasons or six sees.

Speaker 7 (01:47:18):
It has a great show up until the last fucking.

Speaker 1 (01:47:20):
Season and then and then I went, what the fuck
is this bullshit?

Speaker 4 (01:47:25):
Yeah, that's why no one talks about it anymore at all.
It's definitely I think it's it's it's a great thing.
You you should go out on your own terms because
then I think that you are going to be remembered
even if you don't set out great whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:47:40):
But if you can go out in your own terms
and do it.

Speaker 4 (01:47:43):
Well, then you did a great job, didn't that what
they did? You're gonna be remembered for doing a great job.
You can go like Game of Thrones, you could be
amazing until towards the end and then people are like me.

Speaker 1 (01:47:54):
I mean, just like The Sopranos. People still talk about
The Sopranos. People still talk about that show.

Speaker 5 (01:48:00):
A lot of modeled after that a lot of movies
model I'm sure there's gonna be shows. They're gonna be
modeled up again.

Speaker 1 (01:48:07):
Well, there's a Game of Thrones like spinoff. Then we'll
talk about it again. That's what's gonna happen. None, everyone's
gonna talk about it again. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:48:17):
But I think so Red Notice, I think it says
don't look up, which is the one with Leonardo DiCaprio
and Jennifer Lawrence.

Speaker 7 (01:48:24):
You have a bunch of other things like Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:48:27):
Malcolm and Marie, which the trailer dropped last this week
with Zendia and John David Thing. His name is John
David Washington Washington, He's Denzel Washington son, and of course
he was in Tenant, he was in Black Clansman. He's
doing a great job. That trailer looked right out in
my alley. As far as like an indie type of movie,
it's not a blockbuster by any means. It looks from

(01:48:49):
the trailer to take place entirely in one location, which
is the type of thing that when I start getting
like into that sort of realm I love. I love
that sort of character piece where it's just about the
characters and there's one location and that's it.

Speaker 3 (01:49:03):
But I really enjoyed the trailer for that. I want
to check that out. Yeah, just a ton of shit.

Speaker 4 (01:49:09):
But if you, if you, if you're literally Netflix is
about to bring us a new movie every week, including
apparently something with Octavia Spencer and melisab McCarthy.

Speaker 7 (01:49:19):
They seem to have superpowers. That was random.

Speaker 5 (01:49:22):
That sounds fun.

Speaker 1 (01:49:23):
Yeah, a bunch off. So what about what about the
morbius uh uh that keeps bringing up?

Speaker 3 (01:49:34):
I know he does, do I love you? You keep
bringing me a bunch of random like information that doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (01:49:42):
Like movies in a pandemic are going to get pushed
back no matter what, depending on a thousand different reasons.
So it's not really what about I ask you guys,
what do you guys think about a movie being pushed
back again? Like we started this in the beginning of
the pandemic, there's not really a reason to talk about it.

Speaker 1 (01:49:58):
Hey, So I actually read something it's it's all about
it's all rumors and uh and and you know, fucking
hears and and uh which also love to talk about
and things we want for sure as a as a
as a as a fan base. But I've read this
thing about Okay, so Flashpoint has confirmed Michael Keaton, Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:50:19):
Talk about the penguin. Uh yeah, yeah, so there's that.

Speaker 1 (01:50:24):
And also what they're speculating, which is your favorite word
is uh, is that they they are gonna use that
that universe of Michael Keaton's Batman to then have a
Tim Burton Batman Beyond. Is what's uh, what's being what's

(01:50:45):
being talked.

Speaker 5 (01:50:46):
About and Tim Burton Batman Beyond.

Speaker 4 (01:50:49):
Yes, so yes, that has been speculated over and over again.
There was also things that kind of refuted that later on.
So when it comes to stuff like that, which I
did hear about and d brought it to my attention
and he's like yeah, he's like look at this, I'm like,
that's not confirmed, Like that's a confirmed that's not confirmed,
but it would be dope, and it's what we want
I think, of course.

Speaker 3 (01:51:10):
But we've had before before the d c EU even existed.

Speaker 1 (01:51:13):
I want to I want to say, we've all been
talking about Batman Beyond.

Speaker 4 (01:51:17):
Yeah, but it's it's always been what if we made
a Batman Beyond with Michael Keaton as Old Bruce and
then a new Batman beyond it, that'd be great.

Speaker 3 (01:51:27):
But it happened, absolutely, is there any basis for that
to actually happen already? Also? Has d C EU been
going well? Also, fucking no, I don't even know.

Speaker 7 (01:51:38):
What I want to wonder woman, what the fuck happened?

Speaker 5 (01:51:43):
Talked about that? Have you seen Wonder yet? Yeah? Watched it.

Speaker 7 (01:51:50):
Yeah, I just watched it for the first time, and
I'm just like, there's at one point where I looked
over at my wife.

Speaker 5 (01:51:55):
I was like, what is happening? Yeah, yeah, I watched it.

Speaker 1 (01:52:01):
I watched it with Steven Gerardo and like where I'm like,
wait wait, So I'm like, I'm like, so he's dead,
but he's not dead, and then uh yeah, and I
can fly a jit and uh there's weird choices.

Speaker 7 (01:52:19):
Like too much. It was just too much. It was
too much of the just choose something and go with
it here.

Speaker 1 (01:52:25):
And then I was like, I thought, I thought she
had to like unwish her wish, but she just ran
away from him.

Speaker 3 (01:52:32):
She thought about her wish.

Speaker 7 (01:52:34):
Yeah, I think that was technically yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:52:36):
And then she wants to fly because then all of
a sudden she can fly.

Speaker 4 (01:52:39):
No, I don't Yeah, that was that was also okay,
So that's the whole there's the entire thing. Yeah, if
you've seen it, then you know, if you plan on
seeing it, I think it's gonna ruin it for you
because I think I wrote it for you.

Speaker 1 (01:52:56):
Like I was like, I was like, holy ship man,
like they fought this whole time. And then and she
had been swinging on these these hot wires and then
she decides to electrocute her in the water.

Speaker 5 (01:53:07):
Why didn't she get electrocuted?

Speaker 3 (01:53:09):
That's that was the thing. I was like, is she electricity?

Speaker 5 (01:53:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:53:17):
So much about that movie that it was like, wait,
what the fuck? Like that doesn't make any sense at all.

Speaker 1 (01:53:21):
How about did any of you catch the ricky? Did
you catch the kid dummies?

Speaker 5 (01:53:26):
Yeah? I did.

Speaker 4 (01:53:27):
I saw it.

Speaker 1 (01:53:28):
I was just like, oh, ship, he saves two kids,
and she like she swings over on her last and
grasps them. And and too, by the way, two kids

(01:53:49):
just happened to be played in soccer in the middle
of the highway that there's a there's a ton of
tanks fucking storming pass and for.

Speaker 5 (01:53:55):
Some reason wouldn't just move, and so she goes to him.

Speaker 1 (01:54:00):
Now she goes to save that, but she like, so
she knocks over these two kids and she she hugs
them and rolls into the road, but the shot lasts
just just long enough for you to realize that those
are two kid dummies that she's just rolling around on
the floor with.

Speaker 5 (01:54:18):
But it was like they're just moving.

Speaker 7 (01:54:21):
Yeah, he stay completely like this whole time.

Speaker 5 (01:54:28):
Yeah, there's so many weird and again they say Batman
has no superpowers, but yet you know who pulls DC.

Speaker 1 (01:54:36):
Out of you know, but you know what Batman? And
that's the thing is that the bad.

Speaker 5 (01:54:40):
Realized on Batman is always going to be the moneymaker man.

Speaker 4 (01:54:43):
Also, let me ask you this, what what is your
take on Man of Steel? Because I have mine, but
I'm obviously diet Rob. Yes, okay, Rob, what do you
think about a Man of Steel? Because I'm biased, I'm
a big Superman fan. My my two favorite DC characters
are our DC heroes are Superman and Green Lantern.

Speaker 3 (01:55:05):
Those are kind of my guys.

Speaker 4 (01:55:07):
And I saw I mean, one, it was the beginning
of the DCEU, but two I was like, this is actually,
I think really great.

Speaker 3 (01:55:15):
Does it have problems?

Speaker 4 (01:55:16):
Yes, Shitty even saved his dad, But besides that, I
loved it, Like, what do you think about it?

Speaker 5 (01:55:24):
Definitely the dad one for sure. I'm more like I definitely, well,
that's why I like talking to you guys, especially because
I like how they pull it from the comic. They're
pulling it from the comic. It's almost they're making it
their own, but at the same time they're following the
somewhat of the original story. I mean, I liked what
they did with it. I mean the suit was pretty cool, right, no,

(01:55:45):
his uh oh yeah, his actually influence he actually got
his suit and everything, like his reveal, you know, like
that was pretty cool. The way they did it. I
definitely think they did a lot of it. Like you said,
there's things in there that you can take out of
it that could be better. There's things in there that
I think they did well. I mean, I definitely I
didn't want an afflect to be Batman when he fought Superman.
But you know, you can't have everything. But you watched

(01:56:06):
Man of Steel. I did, I did, That's what I mean.
But lead all the way, leading all the way up
to that it was. I mean, I thought it was
pretty cool. I think I don't I don't remember the
most the most I ever got out of Superman, Like
my I read some uh some of the comics of
some of that's cool.

Speaker 7 (01:56:26):
Little screening out there.

Speaker 5 (01:56:27):
I read some of the comics because my cousin Joe
had him, but most of it I got was from
the animated show what was it the nineties Superman animated?

Speaker 4 (01:56:37):
Yeah, so d C and there whoever was and is
probably still running their animated department amazing, like before.

Speaker 5 (01:56:47):
All those movies that they're coming out with right now
are really cool. Huh.

Speaker 4 (01:56:50):
I would say this that that what I believe Marvel
has been doing with the d C. You if their
animated department was as well funded and and and like
people knew about it as more, they would be going
ape shit. As far as their their animated movies. The
the DC Animated Universe is by far, in my opinion,

(01:57:13):
their strongest sort of thing that they brought out and
for the US as far as anything you watch, not
not comics or anything obviously and definitely watch, but the story,
the animation and and and and everything like about it
is like great, just amazing, And I think I think
that is their MCU as far as like, if people

(01:57:35):
knew about it more, they would be ra raving about it.

Speaker 5 (01:57:38):
But it's it's you have to go looking for it, though,
I like, you know, I kind of look at that.

Speaker 4 (01:57:44):
Yeah, like like so you obviously had Justice League and
Justice League Unlimited and Batman the animated series and all
that stuff. Then they started making basically and it was
straight to DVD movies. But these were by far the
best movies that they've done. Hood, Justice Boom, all of

(01:58:05):
their whole lineup. Yeah, fantasm, Yeah, they're animated movies are
so good.

Speaker 5 (01:58:12):
So now are the movies so in the DC world,
are the movies pulling content I don't want to say content,
but like storyline from the animated shows.

Speaker 4 (01:58:22):
Well, you know, this is what I believe is the
worst thing going on right now. Whoever is in charge
of continuity on the DCEU is fucking up because they're
they're I don't want to have to relate it to Marvel,
but that's the biggest example of people doing it right.

Speaker 3 (01:58:42):
And I'm not saying you have to follow.

Speaker 5 (01:58:43):
With verbatim, but that's that we can see.

Speaker 7 (01:58:47):
And like, yeah, the thing is, I can show.

Speaker 5 (01:58:49):
You what they're doing wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:58:51):
And the major thing that they fucked up in the
beginning was that they just started with something with characters
that no, no, okay, No.

Speaker 7 (01:58:58):
Let me put that.

Speaker 4 (01:58:59):
They started with actors who you don't care about, you know, Batman, Superman,
Wonder Woman.

Speaker 3 (01:59:06):
Do you care about these iterations?

Speaker 4 (01:59:08):
No, because you didn't see their progression, and so you're like, Okay,
these are them, but they're also not how I know them.
And they're also they look different. It looks like people
that are wearing costumes that I'm aware of, but it's
it's different where it's like iron Man one like some people, yeah,
new Tony Stock and iron Man, but you knew Robert.
You started to get what Manny Juniors Man was from

(01:59:31):
there and saw that progression of the entire universe. And
because you went on that journey with them, you were
more invested. They didn't have any reason that they ought
to be invested in the dc EU and then start
doing way too much, way too fast, and it's it's
like everyone already checked out, so now you can hope

(01:59:54):
for is a blockbuster event movie and they're they're just
doing poorly because they're not making a reason for you
to care.

Speaker 3 (02:00:04):
Are they sure?

Speaker 7 (02:00:06):
Do you care?

Speaker 2 (02:00:07):
No?

Speaker 5 (02:00:07):
You know?

Speaker 4 (02:00:08):
And that's actually why I liked Man of Steel the
most because it was the closest yes to an Iron
Man where you're like, this is Superman's first day as
Superman is the first day?

Speaker 5 (02:00:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:00:22):
Yeah, people are like, oh, he fucking look at all
the destruction. He could have done this, He could have
done that. Dude, he just figured out he had fucking
the ability to do all this stuff. I think I
had to fight someone who was militarily trained and had
the same powers as him.

Speaker 5 (02:00:38):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (02:00:39):
Yeah, I've said this many times before, but the Wonder Woman,
the first wonder.

Speaker 5 (02:00:46):
Woman I thought, was I any drink?

Speaker 1 (02:00:49):
Sorry, but well before that, before before the first Wonder
Woman came out, I was, uh, the first in the
in the DC EU we were talking to I said,
Man of Steel was the greatest Superman movie I'd ever seen. Yeah,
uh yeah, because there have been so many, and you
know there's the classics in the seventies. Yeah, I mean,

(02:01:11):
we hold him up to a standard for sure, But
Man of Steel was like the perfect fucking uh execution
of that storyline that I had ever seen. And and
and what what would really happen if we had if
we had some some alien like that, and then you

(02:01:33):
know what I mean, And and the struggle and the
everything fucking made sense to me.

Speaker 5 (02:01:38):
Well there you go. There it made Yeah, it all
made sense. Yeah, sure, and it was very uh it.

Speaker 1 (02:01:43):
Made it made Superman for the first time, in my opinion, relatable. Yeah,
because for the for the for the for the most part,
growing up, I fucking hated Superman because he was he
was too perfect. Everything was always just it was like
he had all these superpowers and his only his only
downfall was.

Speaker 5 (02:02:03):
What a rock from his planet? Get the funk out
of here, get out of here. Person who always has
that at all times? Batman Lois.

Speaker 1 (02:02:21):
Was his other.

Speaker 5 (02:02:24):
You. That's right, that's right, rock, a rock from his
planet and a rock. Absolutely. Yeah, Man.

Speaker 2 (02:02:50):
Fight crime until nine p m. The world needs me, Okay, okay.

Speaker 5 (02:03:04):
Yeah, not for sure. That's something that we don't address
what we need. That's why.

Speaker 1 (02:03:10):
That's why, that's what makes Batman such a better fucking
hero is because he's always a bachelor.

Speaker 5 (02:03:14):
Yeah, he's always telling them where did you go? Where
did I go? Why are you still here? All? You're
asking too many? Yeah? Yeah, she was a cat burglar. Yeah, absolutely, Yeah.

(02:03:38):
Every man has his krypton. These are the things that
we need to address. For facts, man, that's why everybody
has money in their.

Speaker 1 (02:04:03):
But wonder wonderful and you know what, just in the
same fucking way, like, yo, how and uh and wonder
woman eighty four, This dude has been dead for seventy
five fucking years. Move on, bitch, what do you are
you kidding me that she needed to bring this.

Speaker 5 (02:04:21):
Dude back to life after even need some good dick
between nineteen.

Speaker 1 (02:04:27):
Fifty four fucking or whatever, nineteen twenty whatever the fuck
woman's in World War one.

Speaker 5 (02:04:32):
I don't know, twenty three, nineteen twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (02:04:38):
Three, and uh, and in nineteen eighty five you couldn't
get before, you couldn't have met some good dick.

Speaker 5 (02:04:47):
Come on, get get out of here.

Speaker 3 (02:04:49):
And there's the whole thing about like it also wasn't
Steve Trevor's dick.

Speaker 5 (02:04:55):
It was another man's dick, right, that's.

Speaker 7 (02:04:58):
My thing, Like why did they decide.

Speaker 3 (02:05:01):
To Yeah, I'm like, yo, that's kind of rape.

Speaker 1 (02:05:07):
Yeah, I mean, I mean, I'm because, let's be real, homeboy,
raped that dude's body would.

Speaker 7 (02:05:15):
Be a part of it.

Speaker 5 (02:05:18):
You didn't have consent.

Speaker 4 (02:05:19):
So so here's my thing, Like did I I didn't
notice it. I'll be honest, I didn't notice that. But
I'm also we grew up watching stuff like you know,
thousands of bodies switching movies, uh, the Hot Chick, you know,
ship like that, and like I'm like, okay, it didn't
really matter. It wasn't like I don't really care.

Speaker 3 (02:05:37):
I didn't think about it.

Speaker 4 (02:05:38):
But then somebody brought it up, like, oh ship, Yeah
that's pretty fucked up. Yeah, like if you if you
actually think about it.

Speaker 7 (02:05:46):
And this is the thing.

Speaker 4 (02:05:47):
This is not the Hot Chick. This is not something
like that where it's like matter. It's entirely fake. It's
trying to be look at this real story about uh,
you know, Superhero, but it's grounded. And that's the point.
If this was a rom com, probably wouldn't care because
you're not meant to believe that it's in your world.

Speaker 5 (02:06:06):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (02:06:07):
And even though like and it's so weird to say that,
but it's like it's treating as if it's in your world.

Speaker 7 (02:06:15):
Same thing.

Speaker 3 (02:06:15):
And I would say this if this was in the
MCU one, just in case anyone is going to go there.

Speaker 4 (02:06:20):
Those things are treating it as if it's like a
real thing, just with different rules, whereas rom coms and
stuff like you don't expect it it's a B movie,
Like those are B movies that you're like, all right, whatever,
there's magic and you know people switch bodies.

Speaker 3 (02:06:35):
We all know that if we switch bodies. Yeah, do
whatever the fuck? It's fun.

Speaker 7 (02:06:38):
Presidents show up under the tree. The parents don't buy them,
they just accept it. No idea. These prisons just showed up.

Speaker 5 (02:06:56):
Mister mccallisters. Two Turtle books, disease.

Speaker 7 (02:07:01):
I do love.

Speaker 5 (02:07:02):
These businesses are dopey anyway, funk Where were we? Wonder
Woman eighty four?

Speaker 1 (02:07:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:07:15):
So, uh ricky?

Speaker 7 (02:07:16):
What so?

Speaker 1 (02:07:17):
What else did you have problems with?

Speaker 5 (02:07:19):
I don't know what I like?

Speaker 3 (02:07:20):
Can you give us a review?

Speaker 5 (02:07:21):
Like?

Speaker 3 (02:07:21):
Did you like stuff about it?

Speaker 5 (02:07:23):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (02:07:25):
No, I mean there's some stuff that was okay. I
guess a lot of it was just confusing, and I'm
just like I was just like the whole time in
my head, I was just like, what is happening?

Speaker 1 (02:07:36):
Yeah, there's a lot of Yeah, there's a lot of that.
And then but plus when he comes back and his
whole confusion of ship, it was very frustrating to me
because I was like, it's just stairs that go up before,

(02:07:57):
what are those?

Speaker 5 (02:07:58):
And then he flies into him? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:08:01):
Yeah, yeah, are you playing what I can kind of
get because like he saw planes like in the beginning,
so it's like, yeah, like seeing a modern plan, Okay, a.

Speaker 1 (02:08:09):
Fighter jet gonna get you all the way to fucking
Saudi Arabia.

Speaker 5 (02:08:11):
I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (02:08:12):
Also, I find that flying fighter jet in World War
One is entirely it's entirely different than nineteen eighties fighter jet.

Speaker 3 (02:08:24):
Look at all these fucking switches.

Speaker 1 (02:08:25):
You didn't have those no no, and then and then
to fly and then I don't like, I'm not a
fucking I've never I've never been in the Air force,
but I would think you wouldn't want to be around explosions.

Speaker 5 (02:08:37):
But he flies into a fireworks show.

Speaker 7 (02:08:41):
M hm yeah, Like I get like they had disability.

Speaker 5 (02:08:46):
I mean.

Speaker 7 (02:08:48):
They couldn't get shut down either, Like what was the.

Speaker 5 (02:08:54):
I get?

Speaker 4 (02:08:55):
I don't know either way, Like it's it's something that
I want to watch it again to be like, did
it's not that bad?

Speaker 3 (02:09:02):
It kind of in my memory it's sucked a lot.

Speaker 5 (02:09:05):
So they took the comics in. Other than that, she's
a fucking Amazon princess. That's about it.

Speaker 3 (02:09:11):
The whole other thing.

Speaker 5 (02:09:13):
Yeah, Okay, so so we're.

Speaker 1 (02:09:16):
Just continuing that we're just continuing that, and uh, very
fucking it's just very odd choice I watching.

Speaker 5 (02:09:23):
I'm interested because I definitely because I definitely agree about
the d C, the DC movie, the cartoons that they're
coming out with Batman and Justice. Yeah, exactly. But I
don't understand why we can't like why why, I mean
we're talking, we're talking about the same thing. Why can't
we all be on that? Don't I don't know what
it is. What are we doing wrong? Like you said,

(02:09:45):
someone's sucking up, someone's up. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:09:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:09:48):
I don't know. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1 (02:09:50):
But Warner Brothers just tends to just like just funk
off with any of the original content that we already have,
Like we already have, we already have these fun, great
stories that we can use and all this stuff. I mean,
they're already they've already been written by people better than you.

Speaker 5 (02:10:06):
Yes, you know, people who have created these characters better
than you, and then they just off. The best thing
I can say is like they're trying to they're trying
to reinvent the wheels. The wheels already done. I understand
that we can modernize it. I'm not saying we have
to be traditional fucking old testament. I'm not saying that.
I'm saying we can modernize it. But I mean, listening

(02:10:27):
to you guys, it's like, what are we doing? You know,
we had something that was a pretty good idea. We
just completely jacked it up.

Speaker 3 (02:10:32):
Yeah, and we haven't even started talking about Star Wars yet, bro, but.

Speaker 5 (02:10:38):
We started on Disney. Oh god, oh lord. I like
how we all did something. I like we all did something,
and I like it. I like it. You know. You
know what I like to say is I started, like
to I watched Star Wars before it was cool, but
we all did before, before it was on T shirts,
before anybody knew what the hell was going on? What

(02:10:59):
the hell was that? Nothing?

Speaker 1 (02:11:01):
Well, you know what, I watched this thing about Night
Member before Christmas too, and and Night remember before Christmas
was uh was apparently it was?

Speaker 5 (02:11:12):
It was?

Speaker 1 (02:11:12):
It was destined to be a flop and yeah yeah,
so so h really?

Speaker 5 (02:11:20):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (02:11:21):
Tim Burton was not the director of Night Before Christmas
as much as a lot of people fucking assume. He
was the creator of Jack the Creator of the Universe.
But yeah, but he was off directing Batman Returns while
they were working on Night bemb Before Christmas, and he
would only show up as a producer and and just

(02:11:43):
yell at people for what was what was going on
and things going wrong and stuff like that. But it
was destined to be a flop, and he and the
funny thing about Night Before Christmas was he was already
an animator at Disney and he got fired for having
his dark humor. And then they read and then when
he was going around pitching to Warner Brothers after the

(02:12:06):
success of Batman Returns or Batman who was pitching that
Remember for Christmas to like Warner Brothers and all these
different places, no one wanted it. Disney said, we'll take it.
It won't be it will back you and we'll and
we'll take all these old drawings and stuff like that
that that you already They're like, how about we hold
onto this and we and we make a deal with
you because we already have all your ship on file.

(02:12:28):
And then and and since since it did flop, Disney
didn't have any wanted anything to do with it. Wow,
until until uh, distribution, sales, merchandising and all that stuff.
Now it's Walt Disney's tim Burton's on that member for Christmas.
So before that it was not so.

Speaker 5 (02:12:48):
You're seeing in the VHS and the VHS cover, it's
not going to say, well you will not say Walt
Disney do. People probably can't. Now that's pretty awesome, but
I mean, I mean, that's that's I don't know. Somewhere
in DC. We got to start figuring it out, man.
I think on Doug has a story.

Speaker 7 (02:13:12):
All right.

Speaker 5 (02:13:14):
Yeah, yeah, we don't got a video of me.

Speaker 1 (02:13:24):
But that's all right.

Speaker 5 (02:13:26):
When my kids were little, I took them to the
world premiere of A.

Speaker 14 (02:13:32):
Nightmare before Christmas and they had all of the animation
characters and stuff that were used in the film, you know,
and I got to let my children, uh hang out
and see that stuff. And it was fucking outstanding.

Speaker 5 (02:13:54):
And uh, I love that movie.

Speaker 7 (02:13:56):
It was beautiful.

Speaker 14 (02:13:58):
My most favorite movie of all time that I've ever
seen in my whole life is The Big Fish by
Tim Burton.

Speaker 5 (02:14:06):
H that movie, Yeah, I have. Yeah, what do you
put your reviews on that one?

Speaker 14 (02:14:13):
Because I swear I cry every single god damn time.

Speaker 5 (02:14:17):
I s' that's a really cool movie and that's enough
for me. That's it. And he's dead that's a cool movie. Dude.
