Jesper Marcus er en af det stigende antal danske mænd, der har mærket mundsvælgkræft på egen krop. I dag kan han kalde sig kræftfri, og nu har han kastet sig ind i kampen for et større tilbud af gratis hpv-vaccination. Et opråb, som flere eksperter har tilsluttet sig i Jyllands-Posten.
Hpv-vaccinen kan forebygge mod den seksuelt overførte virus humant papillomavirus, som gav Jesper Marcus kræft, men selvom alle piger herhjemme tilbydes gratis hpv-vaccination, når de fylder 12 år, så er der flere glemte drengeårgange, som aldrig har fået samme tilbud.
