Man siger nogle gange, at døden er det sidste tabu. Forskere forklarer det med, at den er blevet usynlig i vores moderne samfund. Men én ting er også gået op for journalist Lasse Momme, mens han og fotograf Stine Bidstrup har mødt de børn, der har mistet en far eller en mor. Vi er ikke født dårlige til at tale om døden. Vi bliver dårligere til at tale om den. I fjerde kapitel af ”Børn under himlen” er han derfor taget til Haderslev for at møde Johanne på 15 år. Hun elsker nemlig at tale om ham, der er død. Om hendes far. Det bedste kompliment, hun nogensinde har fået, er, at hun minder om ham. Og måske kan hun lære os alle noget vigtigt om at tale om det, der er svært.
