Morten Dahlin var »frådende ateist« som ung, og han har været stærk fortaler for at adskille kirke og stat. Men nu er han kirkeminister, og ”åndelig oprustning” er det nye sort på Christiansborg, hvor Dahlin har formået at skabe debat om kristendommen og de kristne værdier i Danmark på den ellers ofte usynlige post.
Han har skabt overskrifter om, at danske soldater skal kæmpe for kristendommen, og på Venstres landsmøde var han på talerstolen for at forsvare sætninger om kirken i det nye principprogram.
Men hvor vigtigt er det med kristendommen og kristne værdier helt konkret for det liberale parti? Og skal det fylde mere?
