Det borgerlige Danmark ser ud til at være længere fra magten end nogensinde. Hele 7 borgerlige partier slås om vælgerne, og to af partierne sidder i regering med Socialdemokratiet.
I Under Gulvtæppets sommerserie sætter politisk journalist Cathrine Bloch og politisk analytiker Niels Th. Dahl fokus på den borgerlige krise og spørger, hvad der egentlig er gået galt for de borgerlige partier, og hvad der skal gøres, hvis der skal dannes en borgerlig regering igen.
