Speaker 1 (00:01):
Stay tuned for a special message from Amber Silence Ministries
administer Jody, So check it out, y'all. In the various
situations that we face, no matter where we're at, no
matter what we're going through. It could be a financial situation,

(00:24):
it could be a relational situation, it could be a
health situation, it could be issues on a job. No
matter what we go through, how we choose to deal
with it matters. It matters. Being negative in any situation
is a choice. You can choose to be positive or

(00:48):
you can choose to be negative. It's a choice. It
doesn't matter what anybody else is doing around you. They
them you, so you can choose how you look at
a situation, how you address a situation. Right. So, I

(01:09):
always say that God has given me a double portion
of joy. I've always said that the joy of the
Lord is my strength. And it may I always be
trying to steal my joy, but I'll be fighting back.
I'm like, Nope, you can't have my joy. You can't.
I don't care what I'm going through. Like I joked

(01:30):
through stuff, I smiled through stuff, I laughed through stuff,
even in pain, even like when I was in the
emergency room early this morning. And for why I was there,
I was still positive. And because I was still positive,
it affected those around me who had to deal with me.

(01:50):
And like I had a really good experience, Like everybody
was nice with me. I didn't have no problems, you know,
and I got favor. But the favor started with me
because I came with even though I wasn't feeling good,
I came with that positive sitution, that positive energy. So
like even when I went in, when I first went
into the hospital and I was trying to explain to

(02:11):
the people at the front, that's what was going on,
and I had to keep telling them that this ain't COVID,
This ain't that you know, this is what's gonna This
ain't that. But I also understood, like from the feedback
of some of them, I also understood that this is
all a see. So a part of your being able

(02:32):
to deal with the stuff that you go through is
knowing and understanding that somebody else might be going through something.
The person that is in front of you that is
coming at you some type of way, they might be
going through something and you might not understand what they're
going through, so they're coming at you with that negative energy.
But you don't got to pick it up. You don't
have to pick it up. So what happened was even

(02:53):
though they was you know, and you know they was
kind ofever, they was when I actually get to the
nurses that were dealing with me, you know, it was
a positive from the first guy that took me back.
You know, it was a positive situation. And for everything
I said, thank you, you know, thank you, thank you.

(03:13):
You know, I appreciate it. Thank you. And so that
that's what whether no matter again, no matter how somebody
come at you, that's what you What you get is
from what you give out. So if you're gonna project negativity,
then that's what you're gonna get back. You gonna get
back negativity. You need to be positive. So I want
to share this situation because this this situation here, this

(03:35):
is John chapter five. How much time I got oh
I got tied. It's John chapter five. And it was
the first thing that I was caused to see yesterday
morning before I left out to go to the hospital,
was the situation of this man right at the pool
of Bethesda. I always said, wrong, but it's Bethesda, And

(03:56):
I'll usually say best say to something like that was Bethesda.
So it says after this there was a feast of
the Jews, and this happened on Young Kapoor or doing
a feast of Taberna, because this happened in right, and
that's the situation we end now. So yeah, I was like, okay, okay,
Holy Spirit, I see you. So it says after this
there was a feast of the Jews and Jesus went

(04:18):
up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by the
Sheepgate a pool which is called the hebrew Beth Bethesda,
Bethesda having five porches. In these lay a great multitude
of sick people, blind, laying paralyzed, waiting for the moving
of the water. Now that meant a lot to me too,

(04:41):
because this was an issue like everybody around you was sick.
So everybody around you is like not feeling well or
going through something. Right, So it says in these in
these porches lay a great multitude, a great multitude of
sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of
the water. For an angel went down at a certain

(05:04):
time into the pool and stirred up the water. That's
how I knew that this was Yon Kapoor because yam
Kapoor or the day of atonement, which was Thursday. Well
it ended Thursday. It started Wednesday, ended Thursday. That that
is everybody's annual doctor appointment. So that's how I knew
that this is what it was. So anyway, it says

(05:24):
he stirred up the water and then whoever stepped in
first after the stirring of the water was made well
of whatever disease he hit. So, baby, let me tell you,
I was determined yesterday morning, like I'm stepping he at first.
I'm getting my attitude right. I'm making sure I step
at first. So it says, now, certain man was there

(05:46):
who had an infirmity thirty eight years. It didn't say
how old he was, it said how long his infirmity lasted, right,
thirty eight years. And when I sat and I counted
back from my age thirty eight years, I'm like, yeah,
this this guy is me. I'm like, speak, Lord Jesus,
I hear you speaking to me. Talk to me, Lord Jesus.
So it says when Jesus saw him, this is verse five, No,

(06:08):
this is verse six. When Jesus saw him lying there,
lying there. You know, he's sick, he's got an infirmity.
You know, people like tell you rest, you know, get
some rest. So Jesus saw him lying there. He was
getting him some rest, it says, and knew that he
had already been in that condition a long time. He
said to him, do you want to be made well? Yes,

(06:31):
King Jesus, I want to be made well, so the
sick man. But this this, that's my answer. My answer
is yes, King Jesus, I want to be made well.
But listen, listen how this sick man answered. The sick
man answered him, sir, I have no one to put
me in the pool when the water is stirred up.
But while I'm coming, another steps down and before me. No,

(06:54):
you're that negativity, that pity. That's pity pot. That's pity pot. Okay,
that's pityby Because my whole frame of man is, if
I'm right here at this water, I'm gonna start rolling over.
If I know that it's coming soon, I'm gonna start
rolling over so that I can be at the edge
of the pool. So when that angel comes down and

(07:15):
I see that water beginning a stir I'm just gonna
roll all over into the water. I'll be first to
get in. Babe, back, it's how you deal with the situation.
So this man has been sitting at this pool for
thirty eight years. For real, dude, for real, thirty eight
years you sitting at this pool. You got an infirmity.
It didn't say what it was. It didn't say you
was lying, lame, It didn't say you was paralyzed. And

(07:36):
even if you was blind, you could get to the
water because your senses are heightened. So you this dude,
his attitude was, sir, I don't have number one. I
don't have no man to put me in a pool.
So now you've been lying on somebody else. You don't
have no man to put you in the pool. Baby
back then says, when the water is stirred, but while

(07:58):
I'm coming, another steps down before me. So not only
are you re laying on somebody else, you also looking
at other people who are getting the blessings and you
feel in some type of way because baby, I ain't
got time for that. So Jesus says to him, rise,
take up your bed and walk, okay. And that's what
you see me doing with the posting and with the

(08:19):
positive attitude. And even as I'm posting and I'm sharing,
me going through. Y'all know I'm going through. You know,
you know I'm going through. I took my little tabs.
They forget to take these little taps off of me.
Yesterday I had an EKG yesterday. I mean this morning
EKG is CT scan another X ray. So y'all know
I'm going through. You know, you see the bandes and everything.

(08:41):
You see the stuff, y'all know I'm going through. But
he said, rise, take up your bed and walk. This
dude wasn't already healed. He was going through. He had
an infirmity and he's been dealing with this infirmity for
thirty eight years. Jesus said, rise, take up your bed
and walk. And that's what you see me doing. And
immediately the man was made will took up his bed

(09:02):
and walk. So so look when Jesus said, rides, take
up your bed and walk, he healed the dude first.
Dude didn't get up. First, it said, immediately the man
was laying well, took up his bed and walked. So
immediately his attitude changed, Immediately his thought processes had to change.
And he took up his bed and he walked. And

(09:23):
that day was the seventh. Now I'm not gonna go
ahead on with the rest of this. This is what
I'm about to go to and this is what I'm
about to share with y'all real quick, Jesus saying, look,
chapter six, verse forty six, Why do you call me lord? Lord?
And you don't do what I tell you to do?
Jesus told you the rides take up his bed and walk, right.
What if he wouldn't have did that like the other
dude that they had to lower him down? Right? Baby?

(09:44):
But and James, this is James chapter five. This is
what Jesus tells us to do. He says, My brethren,
count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But
let patience have this work perfect, have this perfect work,
that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Okay,

(10:09):
he tells us what to do. They y'all, I got
to get my bed up and walk, see y'all,
