Speaker 1 (00:01):
Stay tuned for a special message from Amber Silence Ministries
and Minister Jody. So I believe what the script should say.
I believe God's word, and God's word clearly says that
there is now no condemnation for those who are in
Christ Jesus. But check this out. Let's finish that verse out,
(00:23):
because later manuscripts went on to say, who do not
live according to the sinful nature, but according to the Spirit.
So hmm, let's go back to that now, there is
(00:43):
no condemnation in Christ. We like the PLoP it right there, right,
even when we are even when we Christian is doing
something we have no business doing. On first thing, we say,
there ain't no condemnation in Christ, like I can do
whatever I want to, no condemnation of Christ. But let's
finish that verse, who do not live according to the
(01:07):
sinful nature, but according to spirit. So therefore there is
condemnation to the Christian that is not walking according to spirit,
that is not walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
There is condemnation to the Christian who is not living
(01:34):
by the word of God, who is still on the fence.
How do I know, Well, let's see, there's no condemnation
in Christ. Right, But yet we're gonna use something that
most of you guys would know. We're gonna we're gonna
use a person with a title. Okay, we're gonna We're
gonna stop it there, a person with a title, because
(01:56):
we know that a person with a title is a Christian.
And right now, this is not this is this is
not no story about nobody that that I know. I
don't know if anybody doing anything. Okay, I'm just using
this as an example. Okay, So we're gonna use the
example of somebody with a title, because when we start
bearing these titles, we're now at the forefront of showing
(02:20):
the world or saying to the world, you know, call
me minister this, or a profit this, or apostle this,
or pastor or bishop or whatever other presiding elder or
whatever the title revend that you want to use. You know,
you're saying, you know that I'm a Christian. You're just outright.
It's plastic right on, It's plaster over our fore head. Right.
(02:41):
And then we go and do something or we're involved
with something which requires the servants of the mess Higham
who haven't put into their positions and sub positions. According
to revenation, it says everyone's summing himself to the governing authorities.
(03:03):
For there's no authority except that which God has established.
The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently,
he who rebels got my voice again. He who revel
rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted.
Those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers, oh,
(03:26):
no terror for those who do right. Right, there's no
condemnation in crisi. Condemnation that lets me know that we
don't really know the meaning of these words. We use them,
we hear them, and if they have we know how
to use them. If it has a negative context, we'll
use it in that negative context. Condemnation is the act
(03:46):
of condemning someone to a punishment or sentencing someone right.
So verse three, for rulers whole, no terror for those
who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do
you want to be free from fee of the one
in authority? Then do what is right and he will
commend you, for he is God's servant to do you good.
(04:08):
But if you do wrong, be afraid that he does
not bear the sword for nothing He is God servant,
an agent of wrath to be to bring punishment on
the wrong door. So again about the condemnation being in Christ, right,
but where it is and where it is not in Christ?
(04:28):
There is condemnation in Christ, but there is a certain
place where it is, it says. So if you look
at that full scorture, it says Romans chapter eight, verse one,
there is now no condemnation for those who are in
Christ who do not live according to the sinful nature,
but according to the spirit, which means that if you're
(04:50):
living according to that sinful nature, yes there is condemnation.
So therefore you will see life in going back to
that example, I was getting ready you and not get
diverted the person with the title, because we know that
they're in Christ. We cannot deny that they're in Christ. Right.
They're proclaiming to the world I am in Christ. You know,
see my big old titles, see my creer bet aware.
(05:13):
So when they go off and they do something that
they have no business doing, it doesn't matter what it is,
It doesn't matter what so So in a home, in
a home where the mate doesn't matter if I smell
female goes off and commits or sin against his marriage,
(05:38):
and they're now in court before a judge. I ain't
even a Christian, but they're in court before that. Again,
that's because someone lived according to the simple nature, where
you have churches who have had to take there those
who were in positions or held holding titles to court
(05:59):
because of some wrong that was done. It could have
been financially, it could have been any type of thing.
It could have been again relational wise, and they have
to go to court about that. So so if there
is no condemnation in Christ, why are you in court?
(06:20):
And that's again what First Corinthians chapter six is saying. This.
It says, look, it says the problem of litigation and
he then courts. It says, if any of you, and
this is First Corinthians, chapter six, if any of you
has a dispute with another, dare he take it before
(06:40):
the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? Hmm?
It says, do you not know that the saints will
judge the world? And if you are to judge the world,
or are you not competent to judge trivial matters? Do
(07:07):
you not know that we would judge angels? How much more?
The things of this life. Therefore, if you have disputes
about such matters a point, as judges, even men of
little account in the church, I say this to shame you.
(07:29):
Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise
enough to judge a dispute between believers, but instead one
brother goes to law against another, and this in front
of unbelievers. The very fact that you have lawsuits among
(07:52):
you means you have been completely defeated already. M why
not rather be wrong? Why not rather be cheated? Instead?
You yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this
(08:13):
to your brothers. So yeah, I'm really sitting here just
like really looking at this and pondering it because I've
heard so much growing up and from so many different
people that and even Christians, that there is no condemnation
(08:37):
in Christ. Hmm, makes me wonder, makes new wonder We
get so as Christians, we get so caught up in
the lingo. We understand the language the Christians, we understand
Christian needs, but we don't like we're saying it. You
(08:59):
know what, it sounds good, but do we really know
what it means? Have we really been paying attention to y'all?
I'm sitting here and I'm like, wow, wow, wow. A
lot of times when we say that there's no condemnation
in Christ, we're trying to justify something, justify a behavior,
(09:21):
you know. So let's use that full scripture. There's no
condemnation in Christ for those who are in Christ. There's
no condemnation for those who are in Christ who do
not live according to the sinful nature. If you are
(09:42):
living according to the simple I can't talk according to
the simple nature. I'm sorry to inform you, but there
is condemnation for you only if you're living in the spirit.
Only if you're walking out of spirit. Is the more
condemnation you gotta put down that fleshly nature, right mhm.
