Jilly during a time when our nation and the world
seems to be at unrest. The word for today found
in the Old Testament scripture Exodus, chapter fourteen, verse fourteen,
will uplift you. It says, the Lord will fight for you.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
You need only to be still now. I just want
to remind you, my brothers.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
And sisters in Christ, that the same God who humiliated
the Egyptians not once, but ten times in Moses Day,
the same God who parted the Red Sea and brought
the Israelite safely through while destroying their enemies who chased
after them. The same God who delivered the three Hebrew
(00:59):
boys from the fiery furnace while killing those who threw
them in it. The same guy who closes the mouth
of the lions so that the prophet Daniel was not
hurt but killed by those same lions.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Those who were responsible for Daniel.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Being thrown in a lions fit the same God of
the Old Testament, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
is the same God today. This battle that you face,
or fear that you might have to face, is not yours.
It's the Lord's. He says that vengeance is his. He
(01:39):
says that he will repay trivenation to those who pay
it to you. He says that anyone touching you is
like touching his eyeball. Would you let anyone touch your eyeball?
I don't think you will. And so he says to you,
be still and steal. When you've done all that you
(02:03):
can do, just think, trust God. He got this and
he got you. The Lord will fight for you. You
only need to sing. Have a blessed rest of your day.
