week we got the week I'll runout of top of my listen. But

(05:29):
on this lesson, I've already plannedin advance to make it a two part
lesson, So I'm not worried aboutrunning out of time today because at the
end of the time, we'll comeback Tuesday and we're gonna pick right up
wherever we leave off because God isreally going to bless some people, loose
some people, says some people freethrough this Word of God that we're gonna
be teaching over the next couple ofweeks. Okay, so we're gonna go

(05:54):
ahead and go into this word.Remember, if you come in, still
say what's up and say hello, and I'm gonna make sure I try to
best to shout you out because Idefinitely want to, you know, let
my supporters know that I see you, and I appreciate you, all right.
So today's lesson we're gonna be comingfrom Colossians. Colossians. So I'm
gonna read Colossians three twelve through fourteen. All right, I'm gonna read this

(06:17):
word. Remember I'm reading from anNIV version. Hey, Felicia Boone,
Hi, thank you so much fortuning in. I appreciate you. Y'all.
Listen, y'all know y'all do myart good when y'all come on in
here, I appreciate it, allright. So we're gonna strty that verse
twelve, chapter three, verse twelvein Colossons. Okay, it says,
therefore it's God's chosen people. Areyou chosen? Talk to the chosen ones,

(06:45):
holy and dearly loved. Clothe yourselveswith compassion, kindness, humility,
gentleness, and patience. Bear witheach other, and forgive whatever grievances you
may have against one another. Forgiveas the Lord forgave you. And over

(07:08):
all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Amen. We know that way.We ask that God would add a
blessing to the hearers, readers, and doers of his word. We're gonna
go to God for a quick wordof prayer before we start talking about this
thing called forgiveness. All right, dear heavenly Father, Lord, we just

(07:28):
thank you for another day that wasn'tpromised to us. God. God,
we thank you for being great andmighty, the great and mighty God that
you are. God. God,We thank you for sending your son and
die so we could be saved.God. God, we ask for forgiveness
right now in the name of Jesusfor any sins that we've committed, those
that we committed knowing we were committingthem, and those that we committed unknowing
the Lord. We asked that youwill forgive us that the blood of Jesus

(07:49):
covers us washes us clean. God. God, we just thank you for
the people that are gathered here ontonight to go into your word. God.
God, we asked that you openup hearts, up minds. God,
help move self out of the way, God, and let your Holy
Spirit reign and take over. Godand say what it is that the spirit
is saying to the people. God. We know that you are calling your
people God, and so we justasked you allow us to move ourselves out

(08:11):
of way to be able to receivewhat it is that the spirit is saying,
God, have your way on thisshow on tonight. God, let
your mighty will be done, Lord, and we'll be careful to give you
all the praise and all the gloryand all the honor that is due to
you in Jesus name of pray.Thank God. Amen. Amen. All
right, all right, So forgiveness, forgiveness, forgiveness. This is gonna

(08:35):
be a good one, y'all. So I wrote down. I feel like
unforgiveness is one of the areas thatwe have to address in our lives.
If we're gonna reach our destiny right, we're trying to reach where God is
taking us, then we have tobe able to get rid of unforgiveness.
You know, many of us arebound and held hostage by unforgiveness. Hey,

(08:58):
good evening, First, lady Pucket, glad to see you on.
Thank you so much for joining.Tell pass the pucket. I say hello,
Hey, God daughter, I seeyou. Okay, thank you so
much for tuning in. I appreciateyou. I appreciate you. Listen,
this is gonna be a great lesson. So a lot of us are being
held hostage by unforgiveness. We're beingbound by that thing. And we know

(09:22):
that unforgiveness can affect our health, right, causing stress on the body,
anxiety, all of these things thatit can affect our can be affected by
our inability to forgive. It alsoaffects our relationship with Christ right when we
are not willing to forgive. Soyou know, during the course of your

(09:43):
life, while you're here on earth, one thing we're gonna be able to
count on. It's such several thingswe can count on, but you can
count on being hurt by somebody. All right. We're gonna be hurt,
We're gonna be angry, all right, We're gonna we're gonna have somebody that
calls it some type of offence tous that's gonna hurt us and make us

(10:03):
up. Sat Hey, Nika, thank you for joining, says, I
appreciate you tuning in. And sowe know that somebody's gonna gonna cause us
an offense, and we're gonna causean offense to somebody. Right, just
like people hurt us. I'm overthrough the course of your life, you're
gonna hurt somebody, right, It'sjust inevitable, all right. So the

(10:24):
word forgiveness means to lay it aside, to clear the record, to remember
without pain. Right, So itdoesn't mean that you're not gonna remember it,
but we remember without pain. Hey, Principal Worker Sun, thank you
so much for joining in. Iappreciate you. You're awesome. Listen.
But so, it doesn't when peoplehurt us, it doesn't mean Forgiveness doesn't

(10:48):
mean that we no longer remember whatwas done to us. Right, But
it means that when we remember it, we don't feel the pain of it,
we don't feel the sting of it. When we have truly forgiven,
we're able to release that pain, and then you no longer hold a person
responsible for what they've done to you. Right, And when you really forgive
someone, you no longer are holdingthat over the person's head. All right,

(11:11):
I'm gonna talk real quick about thestory because I feel like it's the
most powerful story about forgiveness in theBible. You know, there's lots of
different things about forgiveness. We knowabout the servant who was forgiven, the
debt and all that, But whenwe think about forgiveness, I'm sure you
guys, when y'all think about forgiveness, who is the main character in the
Bible that we had to do dealwith Forgivenesskay, I'm gonna give youall a

(11:33):
few seconds so we can get someinteraction going out there. Who can tell
me what comes to mind when youthink of someone in the Bible who had
to exemplify forgiveness type it in whichy'all think there's many. There's many,
so they don't think there's a wronganswer or a right answer. There's many.
But real quick, if you guyscould shoot me a couple of names

(11:54):
of who you think who comes tomind when you think about forgiveness in the
Bible. And we know Christ paythe ultimate price, you know, but
outside of Christ, well, whodo you think of I'm gonna use my
teacher skills and give you that waytime. I'm gonna give a couple of

(12:16):
give a couple of seconds to seeif we get any responses. I haven't
seen a lot of my biblical scholarscome on yet. Jesus, very good,
very good. Jesus is definitely, definitely Uh, the was the ultimate
person who made this ultimate sacrifice toforgive Amen. Yes, you're right.

(12:39):
Anybody else in the Book of Genesis, if you think about it, in
the Book of Genesis, Rachel, how you doing well? What comes?
What came to my mind was thestory about Joseph, right, And I'm
gonna just give you a brief,uh account of what happened with Joseph.

(13:01):
I know most of us know thestory of Joseph, but there may be
some people who are not real familiar. So we're gonna talk about Joseph because
man, did Joseph have to forgive? Okay, so let's even talk about
from Ruth. Okay, all right, thank you, yes, Ruth,
definitely, definitely. So when wetalk about Joseph, let's just think about

(13:24):
his life. So we know atthe age of seventeen, so we know
that his father, Jacob or Israel, loved him more than all of his
sons, I believe, because hewas Rachel's the son that he had with
Rachel. So we know that story, the backstory of how Jacob had to
work for Rachel and all those things. So this is the son that he
bore with Rachel. And so atthe age of seventeen, his father gave

(13:46):
him a beautiful robe. It wasa beautiful, beautiful robe, and everybody
was jealous of it. So hisbrothers were all jealous of him, all
right. So he had ten brothersand they were older, and they were
all jealous of him. So hewas dealing with jealous siblings. Right.
So you might not be dealing witha jealous sibling, but you may be
dealing with a jealous family member,or a jealous associate or peer, somebody

(14:11):
that you know, a jealous coworker, any of those things. Right,
we know that he was dealing withjealousy. His brothers were very jealous.
Not only were they jealous, butthe Bible says they hated him. They
hated him. Can you imagine havingsiblings and they hate you, and you're
the youngest. You got ten olderbrothers and they all hate you, all

(14:31):
right, And so they hated him. And then once he told him about
his dreams. You know, Josephhad these dreams about him being lifted up
and in a position of power. And so once he shared the dreams with
the brothers, Oh, they reallyhated him intensified. And so they hated
him even more because of the dreamsthat God was giving him. Right,

(14:54):
how many of us feel like peoplehate on us. That's why I said
it's not good to tell everybody yourdreams, right, because because he shared
the dreams, they hated him evenmore. And because I hated hated him
even more, what did they do? They started plotting to kill him,
Like the brothers started plotting to killJoseph because oh, he think he gonna
rule over us. He the babyand baby boy, and he thinks he's

(15:16):
gonna rule over us. And sothey started plotting to kill uh, to
kill Joseph, and so and andand Uh. Joseph did have a younger
brother, Benjamin, by the samemother, by Rachel as well, but
uh, he was the youngest outof those ten that hated him, And
so they started plotting to kill him. And so then Ruben, I believe

(15:39):
the brother Ruben talked him out ofit, like, hey, like,
let's not kill him. Didn't wantthe blood, the stain of his blood
on his hands. So he wassaying, let's just throw him in the
pit. And so he was thinkinghe was gonna be able to come back
and rescue his brother, and sohe said, let's throw him in the
pit. And so that's what theydid. They threw him in the pit.
So they were Joseph, and theyhated him. They wanted to kill
him, plotted and tried to comeup with a plan to kill these people
coming up, try to come upwith a plan of how to keep not

(16:00):
only you but your destiny right, well, God has given you. That's
what they were trying to kill, right. There wasn't so much they were
trying to kill Joseph. They weretrying to kill he said he had this
dream and even in the word itsays, oh, let's see how your
dream's gonna go forth now when you'redead, right, And so they wanted
to kill him. So then theyend up throwing you in the pit,
and then they sold him into slavery. Can you imagine having siblings like that?

(16:25):
You know, if you have nobodybad, how bad your siblings are?
Right now, when you start thinkingabout all the things that Joseph face,
it's like, oh, my siblingslook pretty good. You know,
they ain't trying to kill me andthrow me the pit and sell me into
slavery, all right, and soand then if they are, you know,
don't you worry because we know howjoseph story ends. And so they
sold him into slavery. So youwould think, oh, like that's just

(16:48):
terrible. That's the word, likeyou what the Bible say, he won't
put more on you than you canbear. You would be thinking like he
had all he can bury. Hehad a lot, he dealing with a
lot. But when he goes intoslavery and he's working for Potiphar, and
what happens his Partiphar's wife tries toseduce him. And because he is a
man of standard, he's a manof God, and he doesn't go that

(17:10):
way. He said, no,I'm not gonna sin against my master and
sin against God. He refused her. Then she went lied on him.
Right, It's like that's the onebiggie winder thing that's all been lied on,
cheated, talked about, mistreated thatI've been all these things right,
But long as I got King Jesus, you know, I don't need nobody
else. And so Joseph now wideon. So now he gets thrown into

(17:34):
prison. Hey, Shaye, howyou doing? Thanks for tuning in.
Now he's thrown into prison. Soyou didn't been a person through since you
were seventeen years old. You're stilla child since you were seventeen years old.
I mean adult legally in terms oflaw, uh nowadays, but a
child when you those of you whohave children, when your child is seventeen,

(17:56):
they're back, they still be Yourbaby's a child. I'm still my
mama, babe, and I'm fauarded. So your child is being treated like
this, tortured and plotted against andthrew it a pit and sold in the
slavery and now he going to thepin falsely, right, you'd be different.
Your kid committed some kind of crimeand then they have to go to
the pen. But he's been falselyaccused and lied on and thrown in the

(18:19):
pen. And then when he wasin thing, he the Lord blessed him
to interpret some dreams, and hetold the man, hey, don't forget
about me. And what the mando got on right out the pin,
forgot out the bad. It maynothing about two years past. He'd been
sitting there waiting laugh. I thought, this man's gonna tell somebody about me,
right, But God had a plan, right, So listen, I

(18:40):
just want I just want y'all tothink about all things Joseph have been through,
because most of us have not beenthrough merely anything like that. Most
of us that are dealing with unforgiveness, well, you know, you could
be dealing with someone forgiveness from child, from your childhood, maybe if you
were molested or raped or anything likethat, or if you felt abandoned or
neglected. You know, some somepeople have had some really traumatic experiences.

(19:03):
So I'm not making light of that. You know, we we go through
the things that we have to gothrough in life, but there is hope
in Jesus Christ. And so youknow, when we're dealing with that unforgiveness,
you know, it hurts us morethan it hurts the person that we're
not forgiving. Most of the time, the person that we're holding that grudge
against, they going on about theirlives and living happy, and you know
they ain't thinking about you then Ithinking about the hurt or the pains they've

(19:27):
caused you. They having a goodtime and you and you ain't even cross
their mind. But here we areholding that burden, right and we know
that the Bible says that we haveto forgive in or to be forgiven.
Bunny Jones evangelist Jones, thank youso much for tuning in. I appreciate
you. But we know that thatall things. Let's look at Romans.
I want to turn to Romans Atwenty. Y'all know this is one of

(19:49):
my favorite verses, I am,I am. I have to let it
go go a lot, though, but the thought still crosses my mind.
That's and that's what I say earlierwhen I said forgiveness doesn't mean that you
forget, but it means that youlet go of the pain. That's when
you know you're truly forgiven, whenyou can think about it and you don't

(20:11):
feel the sting of what that personhas done. And so when we look
at Romans eight twenty eight, Ican quote it, but I'm gonna read
it. It says, and weknow, and we know do you know
not we think I suppose they mightor I don't know. No, it

(20:33):
says, and we know. Hey, evangelist Rosine Hayes, thank you for
tuning in. It says, andwe know that in all things, in
all things, God works for thegood. Did you stop right there?
That's a powerful word right there. And we know that in all things God
works in all things. Who worksGod for the good of those who love

(21:03):
Him who have been called according toHis purpose? Have you been called according
to his purpose? Right? You? Remember we talked about last week,
got check yourself for your reck yourself? Have you been called? Or are
you walking in that calling what Godhas purposed you to do for those God
for new He also predestined to beconformed to the likeness of his son,
that he might be the first bornamong many brothers. Right, and those

(21:27):
he predestined he also called. Thosehe called he also justified, and those
he justified he also glorified. Forgivenessis for our good. Let it go.
That's right. The forgiveness is forour good. And let's look at
talk still talking about Joseph, becausesome of us, when things go wrong,

(21:49):
or things are not going how wethink they should go, or somebody
wrongs us, we get filled withbitterness, anger, resentment, right,
hating God or questioning God or feelingsome way towards God. Right. We
know when everything was going wrong withJob and they were saying his wife say

(22:10):
curse God and die, you know, like some people do that. Some
people take that role, like theystop believing in God. They fall away
from the faith because of things thathave happened. But let's look at the
example that Job gave. I mean, got job, Joseph. What we're
gonna go to you have a greatexample is how to suffer as well.
Both of those people gave great examplesof how to suffer. But when we
look at Joseph's life, first ofall, that whole story of Joseph takes

(22:34):
up a lot of chapters. Itgoes from Genesis chapter thirty seven to fifty.
So read it if you don't knowit a very, very great story.
And for those who don't like toread the Bible, like I tell
you all the time, go onYouTube and look and type in a movie
of Joseph and you can read andyou can watch a movie that will depict
the story of his life. Youknow, they might be added some stuff

(22:56):
in there that you know how theydo for fictional purpose, but it'll give
you a gist of the story ofJoseph if you don't know it all right,
But during all this time, whenJoseph was mistreated by everybody, he
always kept his spirit towards God.Right, he never turned his back on

(23:17):
God. He always did the rightthing, no matter what right. That's
how come Portiphar's wife couldn't get himand seduce him because he was gonna do
what was right in the eyes ofGod. So we need to let that
be us, no matter how someoneis wronging us, what they're doing against
us. Or towards us. Weneed to make sure that we show Christ

(23:41):
right that we live a life thatis pleasing to God, because God is
in it well, and all thingsGod works. So when we know that,
we can already know that, hey, whatever this is that I'm dealing
with, I know that God gonnawork it out right. In all things
God works. And if even withJoseph being sold into slavery, what happened,

(24:03):
he was put at the at thehead of the house. Right,
everything was under his control when hewas working for Potiphar. I hate saying
the name Potiphar. When he wasworking for Potiphar, he was over He
was the under Potiphar, the masterof the house. Everything was under his
rule because everything that he touched Godblessed. Right, So the blessings of

(24:26):
God was with him no matter ifhe was in the pit of the palace,
right, no matter where he wasat, he was still a favored
by God. And that's what Iwant you to know. So no matter
where you are in life, whenyou call, when your God's chosen you,
you have the favor of God.You are still with God. So
do right knowing that God what thebox of vengeance is. Mind said the
Lord, we're gonna get to thatscripture. But knowing that God got your
back, you don't have to takethings into your own hand. You just

(24:49):
wait and depend on God, andyou tell yourself, I know that all
things work together for the good ofthose who love the Lord. All right.
And so then even when after hewas working for Potter for and his
wife lied on him and got thrownin the prison, what happened the prison
ward put him over all the affairsof the prison. So when you continue

(25:11):
to let your light shine, itdon't matter where you are, your sh
light gonna shine. And in theprison and the pit, your light gonna
shine. Joseph was aware of thewrong that his brothers did to him,
but he didn't hold it against them. He still loved them. He sure
did unconditionally. That's unconditional love toGod be the glory. Amen. Amen.
And so he's in prison. Godstill favored. So now he's over

(25:34):
the prison. Then when the cupbearer finally remembers when when when Pharaoh had
a dream and he needed it tobe interpreted, and he did, the
cup bear said, oh, Iremember somebody that can interpret dreams. Then
he came in and what happened. He interpreted the dream. Then he was
put over all Egypt. He wasthe governor of the land over all Egypt.

(25:56):
God continues to elevate him. Thedevil was trying to hold him down,
discourage. You think about it.If he would have got all built
and may I ain't serving God,he wouldn't have been able to interpret those
dreams. Right. The spirit ofGod is what allowed him to do so.
If he would have, you know, pulled away from God, if
he would have detached from God,he wouldn't have been able to walk in
the calling and the purpose that Godhad for his life. Everything was working

(26:18):
for a purpose. That's why youremember at the end when his brothers came
to him, and you know, and he finally revealed himself to his brothers
and told him was His brothers expectedsome kind of punishment, but he didn't
give him a punishment. He Josephnever let his heart change. That's right,
He never let his heart change. He remained true to God. He

(26:40):
stayed with God no matter what, just like Joe, didn't matter what it
was. He knew that this isGod I served and what he saying.
Yet though he slay me, youknow it doesn't matter what's happening. I'm
gonna stay with God. And becauseof that, God was continued to elevate
him and put him over all ofEgypt for the purpose that was the purpose.
He was the one that was supposedto come to be able to put

(27:02):
the plan in place so that whenthe family came, every people wouldn't be
dying. So it all had toplay out the way that it played out.
So remember that when people are wrongingyou, people are mistreating you,
remember that it's got to play outthe way that God has to play out
with you. If somebody lie onyou, you lose your job. God
got a better job for you.And it's just how it's supposed to play
out. Right. If that manleave you, that woman leave you,

(27:25):
God got a better man, abetter woman for you. That's the way
it's supposed to play out. Whateveris happening in your life, whatever hurt,
pain that you have to endure, remember God, in all things,
God works. And we know, right, we know that in all things
God works. And here I goup. But I told you I wasn't
worried about running over time because we'regonna pick up the same lesson on next

(27:48):
Tuesday. All right, I'm gonnaread real quick over in Matthew. In
Matthew chapter eighteen, verse twenty one, it says, and then Peter came
to Jesus and asked, Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother
when he sins against me? Theseven times? He thought he had a

(28:11):
good answer like that sounds like, you know, seventy a number of completion
I hadn't completed it that some timesI had completed this. I'm not forgiving
you no more time to put themhands on you. But what God said,
Jesus answered and said, I tellyou not seven times, but seventy
seven times. Therefore the Kingdom ofHeaven is like a king who said his
counselor. And then he tells theparable about how the king was selling his

(28:34):
counsel and the servant owed him tenthousand, and he forgave him. But
because he begged and pleaded and theking had compassion, then he went turned
around and jacked somebody for one hundreddollars after he was forgiven for his ten
thousand right. And so Jesus teaches, like pretty much, that's what we
do. We don't want to forgivepeople, but we expect God to forgive
us. God has compassion forget. He's forgiving of forgiving God, we are

(28:57):
to be like minded. We needto be like Christ. We need to
have a forgiving spirit. Or I'mgonna read one more verse over in do
the Running Me, Do the runningMe, Uh, thirty two and thirty
five, it says it is mineto avenge. This is God talking.
Okay, it is mine to avenge. I will repay in due time.

(29:22):
Their foot will slip, their dayof disaster is near, and their doom
rushes up on them. Right. So the God is a man that he
cannot lie, and he has toldus that vengeance is his. So don't
be plotting on how you're gonna getsomebody with a song, an old song,
say you dig one? Did youbetter dig two? Right? Because

(29:45):
when you dig and you plotting, you just setting yourself up. That is
not God's will for us. That'snot God's desire. When things are going,
challenges come against us in life, they're to build us up. There
to help us, to edify us, to help us be able to bear
more, to strengthen us. Allof these things right, And so we
need to make sure that we continueto keep the heart of Christ, in
the mind of Christ for others andbe compassionate and forgiving no matter what they've

(30:10):
done, because we want God toforgive us. So number one, we
need to recognize that we ourselves needforgiveness. Right, that's the way that
you keep you keep things in perspective. You need forgiveness. So we should
extend that to others. Right, and remember that, well, no matter
what it is that somebody's done toyou, no matter how they've wronged you,

(30:30):
that God has a greater purpose inallowing the hurt. God has a
greater purpose in allowing you to gothrough that all those things that Joseph had
to go through was for a greaterpurpose. All right, your greater,
your lador will be greater even withjob. You know he greater, He

(30:51):
had double for us trouble. Sodon't you worry. Don't you get discouraged.
If you take vengeance into your ownhand, then you taking it away
from God. Don't do that.Allow God to avenge you. And we're
supposed to pray for our enemies, and I'll be praying like Lord, get
them, Lord, avenge me.Right, we want to pray for their
forgiveness and ask the Lord to helpus to forgive, and also we might

(31:14):
have some things we have to forgiveourselves for. All right, we're gonna
pick up on that on next weekbecause that time has come. I knew
it was gonna run out on melike it always do. But like I
said, I had already planned forthis to happen. So I was like,
you know what, I'm gonna makethis two lessons instead of usually I
run out of time, and uh, I just have to cut it short.

(31:37):
And then those thas just never gettalked about. Oh, I didn't
see what you said. Avengelis money. I'm so sorry. I looked up
and caught it at the end.God, God allows the pain for purpose.
That's right. It is for purpose, Yes, that's right. And
so uh, you know, there'swhat there there's a lot of different books
and everything that talks about transitioning fromuh. I know, uh. Elder

(32:00):
Shabrina Dennis, she does a wholewomen's conference about transitioning from pain to purpose.
Right, there is purpose in ourpain. All right, But let's
go ahead and get ready for thisguest, because we are a little bit
run over our time. So letme tell you today, my special guest,
is Marcus Green aka same O G. He is a multi award winning

(32:22):
national recording gospel hip hop artist fromQuincy, Florida. Same Og is a
humble servant anointed by God to carryout the mission of reaching this new generation
through the gift of gospel hip hopa man. Every song by same Og
is filled with the unadulterated Gospel andis being delivered in a way that grasps

(32:44):
the attention of the new generation aswell as the older generation. Same Og

which makes him relatable to so manypeople, especially those attempting to leave the
street life. Same Og has beendominated for numerous gospel music awards and has
been privileged to win seventeen of thoseawards. God deserves all the glory and

(33:07):
praise for everything same Og has accomplishedso far. Listen, lady, gentlemen,
y'all, welcome to the stage. My friend Marcus Green aka same Old
Gyan you for having me, yes, of course, thank you for joining
us. I'm so excited. I'mso excited, especially for the young men.

(33:30):
I know. I got some youngcousins and my brothers all these people
that are tuned in. I knowit's going to be a great inspiration to
hear from such a young man ofGod. Hey, to that be all
the glory. I'm just humbled andgrateful that you asked me to come on.
I'm very appreciative for that. Soyeah, yeah, you know,
I know, I know you haveseveral testimonies, so you know, I

(33:52):
know what I know about some thingsthat God has done in your life,
and I just you know, Iwant to invite you to come and share
if you wanted to. So thankyou for coming and accepting that invitation that,
man, I appreciate you. Yeah, so you just go. I
ain't gonna take already it ran oversome of your times and tell the people,
got to share your testimony and whatGod has done for your first and
foremost man. I called a littlebit of the lesson you was given on

(34:14):
Joseph. And it's crazy because I'mtalking about In the last couple of days,
I've been working on this song calledthe Pit, which expounds on that
metaphorically type of way. So Iknow it's confirmation. I just had another
say to somebody else where it wasconfirmed. So all my music comes from
God. So before I do asong, I pray about it to let

(34:34):
when he gives me the lyrics,he always shows me up. See you
we question sometime, making sure.I don't want to make I want to
make sure it's not coming from youmy own thoughts, right right, I
thank you for talking about Joseph andand and evangelists who that was Bud.
He said, the pain has apurpose. Yes, all of my pain
that I've been through up until Ihad a purpose. Okay, tell me,

(35:00):
okay, it's so boom real quickstory. I grew up a preacher
kid. You know when I'm kindof I said I was a drug child
now because I did drugs because Iwas drugged. The church twenty four seven.
You feel my dad, you know, he started his own church,
so we was everything. We wasthinking board, the mother Boy, the
us as the choir members, musicianswhen the church throse up and we had

(35:21):
to be there until you know,it got up and running, running,
running, So so you know,I kind of made a decision because I
never really and this is what Ifeel like. One of the problems was
with the older churches in the sensethey didn't really make the young people feel
welcome. You know, you hadsome young people that just joined into it,
but not necessarily. They didn't reallymake you feel. So, you

(35:42):
know, I played the drums,my twin brother, my sister, shout
out to Michael, shout out toChristina. They could sing, you know
what I'm saying. So people alwayswanted to hit them. You know.
I couldn't do nothing of that. And I definitely didn't really know about rapping
like that back then. I didn'tknow I had that gift. So,
you know, I finished playing thedrums, I go sit down. You
know, I'm just in the church. So I like, shoot, I'm
tired of it. All my friendspicking up and when I get to school.
Man, all y'all do is goto church, holy rollers, blah

(36:06):
blah. So instead of me embracingit, I'm like, man, I'm
should him. I ain't about thechurch like that. I start doing dumb
stuff, getting in the fights, you know, get more to street activity.
That type of thing got eighteen legal. Made my mind up. Hey,
that's it for me, y'all canhave all that church stuff. Churches
right high way. Now when Igo back to talk to young people and

(36:28):
I do youth events and all thattype of stuff. I tell him,
quick, listen, this is thebest place you could be right here.
Yeah, I'm here to prevent youfrom tripping over that rock and busting your
head to the white meat instead oftaking that roll. Let me show the
real road you need to take.Because he may not give you the same
grace he gave me. You know, it's a lot of young people down

(36:49):
way, young and early. Youknow what I'm saying. You know what
I'm talking about. So he mightnot let you get to twenty five thirty
like he let me do. Sohey, embrace him now. But anyway,
long story showed and shot. I'vebeen shot at, stabbed, hit
across the head with Bill Botles gotin then all kind of has been arrested
numerous times in front of the judges, all kinds of stuff, and most

(37:09):
of that pain was God was tryingto make me uncomfortable in my sin.
That's not what he created me tobe. Now, he wasn't gonna stop
me from going to make my becausehe gave us the mind of free will.
I'm not gonna make you love meand worship me. That's your choice,
rightfully, you do it based onme creating you me. You know,

(37:30):
being your provider, your protector. But if you don't aid. But
when you got a call on yourlife, when you're annoying it, he
will let you go through and feelthe worst of the worst until you wake
up and be like, hold on, now, why am I going through?
Or why is all this happening? And sometimes you have to get you
to that point where you are listen. You have no other choice but to
listen. Face is standing before judgefacing real time. I'm like, no,

(37:55):
god, this you know what I'msaying against when they start talking about
real time? Man, listen Andthe thing I tell people, now,
one thing about me, and Iwill say, you know, you have
to ask the judges, but Idon't want you to ask just about me
because I got a lot of dirtyBut they will tell you I was straightforward
every time I went in there. You know, I was mad enough to
do it. I was man, listen, judge. Yeah, And that's

(38:16):
when I got most of my leniencybecause I was one of them straightforward guys.
But you got a lot of themso called thugs want to be hard
soon they and I've been in thatwith them in the court room. But
nah, bro, you was justtough. Out there. Don't come in
here with that baby stuff. Youknow what I'm saying. But that's how
you know they ain't built. Theyjust following a trend. They just doing

(38:38):
what they think it's cool. Orthey hearing his music and they don't understand
them. People rapping that to themain't really doing that. That's right,
that's doing that. You see what'shappening to them, not catching reco charges,
all kinds of stuff. Yeah,But so I went out there doing
all that dumb stuff. God allowedme to go through so much, man,
and when he finally got me toa place where where I was able,

(39:00):
I didn't have a choice but tolisten. He said, all I
need is ay yes. If youtell me yes, I'll let you rest,
like just playing like that, tellme yes, I'll let you wrist.
Listen I'm talking about I couldn't sleep, I couldn't do nothing. I
had told my achilles tendon playing basketball. And you know they gave you that

(39:22):
good medicine when you have a realinjury like that I'm talking about, Well,
I'm popping pills, trying to goto sleep to get to pay the
suffice. Man, when none ofthat stuff, God say when you tell
me yes, I'll let you getsome risks. Man. I home it
down on the ground and got onmy knees by my bed boy, and
I prayed and I prayed, AndI never stopped knowing how to pray.

(39:44):
That's one thing you gotta understand.Them seas are playing it in your early
So I never stopped learning. Ialways knew how to pray, even when
I was getting in trouble. Policebehind me. Lord, please don't let
me take them to Jill, blahblah, don't let me take me.
Please, God, don't let thejudge get me. Twenty years You know,
he knew how to pray, butI was wasn't praying for the right
stuff and for the right reason, right right, right, right right.

(40:07):
So I got out on my knees, on praying, on praying. So
I remember getting up on my knees, laying down. I know I must
have said the right thing because Iwoke up slopping on the pillow. I'm
talking that good sleep. You know, when you get up, you got
the white drest man listen. Soafter that, I was like, Oh,
you ain't got to tell me nomore. God, I'm I'm going

(40:28):
ham for you. I mean Iwent hard in the streets. I might
well go hard for you. Youknow what I'm saying. So I got
it, got back into the church, transition back into church, out the
streets and out the world, youknow, doing right. Just glad I'm
saved now, you know what I'msaying. Glad I'm back in the church
doing right. God saw batting withme again. I'm like, come on,
man, I'm doing what you.I'm saved. I ain't hustling,

(40:52):
ain't thugging, ain't the center dry, Ain't doing none of that. Now
that's something else I need to do. I ain't just safe you just for
you to sit down to be saved. What I need you to start rapping?
God ain't no rapping. You know, Church of God and cry coach
at the time, like God,ain't no wrapping in the church. You
already know. That's why I knowthat both of us are annoying, because

(41:14):
they let us come to cry.Listen, listen, they let me wrap
it. They ain't convinced. Ialready knew it was called by God ordained.
But before that, I wrapped alittle bit in the streets. You
know what I'm saying. And Godwould never let it take off to where
it needed to be. But Iknew I was I knew I could wrap.
But when I came back to thechurch, I tried to leave everything
behind me that even resembled my pastlife. But God was like, and

(41:37):
let me drop this nuggind on somepeople. Sometimes God will allow you to
perfect your gift even in your sin. Come on here, use you when
you come back in. You knowwhat I'm saying. I didn't know a
thing. Come on, man,I didn't know he was allowed. And
I thought I was real tight inthe street. They know he was allowing

(41:58):
me to perfect that out there becausehe was gonna need me to use it
when I came in. So hekept bothering me, kept bothering me.
So I finally gave into it.I did it. I remember doing that
when our local church youth services atour church, and we had a guest
that day, and and you know, she was like, hey, want
you come through this at our yousir, blah blah. You know,
after one or two of those,it just kind of blew the doors wide

(42:20):
open. And never thought anything aboutawards and all that because the ministry minded
at first. So I was saying, like man. If I'm helping the
change one of these young people mind, or even older people mind. If
I'm helping to win a soul tothe kingdom, if I'm helping the impact
of life, That's what it isall about me. And that's still my
foundation, that's still my focal points. So even all the platforms he got
me on now, all the musiche has be doing, my main focus

(42:43):
is and my impact is somebody andand my helping to draw somebody to the
Kingdom to be saved. That's whatI'm all about it. They can have
all the accolades, all awards.I thank God for him. I'm humble
bound, but that ain't my motivation. Right. So long story showed a
few years ago December twenty nineteen.I got a new Fader car accident.
I broke my neck, my back, three of my ribs, bruised both

(43:06):
my lungs severely, skull fractures, lost the feeling under this eye and bro
and your back and my bad,Like he's my my neck and my back,
you know what I'm saying. ButI broke off for real. You
know he was trying get a littlechange, to get a little pot outs
in the stove, all right.I was on my way home from work,

(43:27):
and uh, I don't remember theaccident itself, just the details what
people was telling me. They accordingto the report, my carb side swiped
on my way home, spun outof control, hit some trees head on,
pushed the engine, messed my callawayup my twenty sixteen Camaro. Who
my car. I love that car, but it spun out of control,
hit some trees in on, pushedthe engine all the way back to the

(43:50):
driver's seat. All of this, they say when they found me, because
I woke up in the trauma youthey found me sitting outside the car,
up against the car. Wow,that's what I said. I said,
you find me well. When Ifinally, you know, was able to
be conscious enough to talk to people, I'll say, they find me well
in the driver sea the engine, the back part of the engine was in
the driver's seat, and you wasoutside the card lean against up against the

(44:15):
car. This is where the paramedersfind me at of the truth. Because
he was first on the scene,He's like, man, I don't know
how you got out the car. This is when he came back to visit
me to get my uh my,you know, uh statement broken or I
think so. I think the windshieldwas smashed, but I wasn't. But

(44:37):
I was on the side of thecar, up against the passenger side of
the car, not thrown out thewindshield, not you know, not thrown
out, but just sitting up againstthe car is what the report says.
Wow. So nine to ten Iwas in the neck brace. The doctor
said they didn't. First of all, they was amazing I even survived an

(44:59):
accident first and before. But thenthey was like, well, they don't
know if I was gonna either beparalyzed or if I was gonna ever walk
right again. So the neck brace, I had this walkers, wheelchair and
walker and at that time, youknow, COVID kicked it in real big
that beginning in twenty twenty. Somy accident had a December twenty nineteen,

(45:19):
right, So all of my appointmentspretty much was telling him through video,
so let me let me go andshow you just why how great God is.
And for almost ten months I wason bed, rist down, on
my bed, couldn't do nothing, never had surgery, never had physical therapy,
never had rehab. One day Godtold me to get up and walk

(45:42):
through the house. Don't use thewalker don't just walk. I got up
out of bed and walked through thehouse. Like what in the world,
Wow, I tell people walker orwheelchair? Yep, I tell people it
ain't that God don't work miracles nomore. Face is just weak and we
don't believe in those kind of miraclesanymore. We believe the long officer say

(46:05):
yeah, he'll change the long officerof mind, or he putting on somebody
heart to give us some change. He in there, but we don't believe
in those real miracles like from backin the day with the blind can see
again and the death can hear, and he can raise people about the wheelchairs.
But I'm here to tell you I'ma walking testimony. Come on here,
walking testimony, and I know it'sreal and I know he real.
I don't care who out there don'tbelieve in God. I don't care what.

(46:28):
One thing you can't never make medoubt is my faith in God period.
I don't care what happens around me. Yeah, I mean, just
you, just because you know whereHe brought you from. Right, That's
why it's so powerful our testimony.Right were able to share that because your
car was I think I saw apicture of that car. Yeah, mirror.

(46:49):
I mean it was just obliterated. It was like, wow, how
did that? I know, theparent of man's like, how did you
survive this? For you to saythat you were just sitting outside the car,
lean up against the call, youknow what I mean? Like wow,
and then your neck broke, yourback broke, and then you didn't
go through any kind of rehab orphysical therapy. You just got up and

(47:10):
walked. No surgery, no nothing. Yeah. Even when I think about
it to this day and that's beenthree four years ago, now, it's
crazy. I'm still amazed by I'mcoming after you because I know after that,
after you hear from that, youstill was study having injuries. It
was like trying to take you out. Yep, my ankle broke my ankle

(47:30):
at work and I was like, man, listen, I don't care what
you do. I'm not stopping. You didn't with that boot on up there
and listen, yeah, still doingshows, still doing everything with a boot
on my foot. I listen,I went through too much hell out there.
Yeah, stuff I went through, and it was still trying to thug

(47:50):
it out and still trying to,you know, do the stuff I was
doing. Out there. You thinkI'm in the lint? What the devil
was trying to do to discourage me? Now stop me right? You know
what I'm saying. From losing thechild to all that stuff, you know
what I'm saying. Yeah, thatwas later. So you because you broke
your leg and I mean, youain't good and you was hobbling around and
I was because I remember, Iwas like, keep on, don't he

(48:10):
gonna he gonna keep on present andI and I applied that like that is
so wonderful, cause so many peoplewould have sat down on God. I
said, now I ain't gonna doa show. I can't jump around like
I want to. You was jumpingin that booth, you know. And
then even after all of that, then this last tragedy that happened me and

(48:30):
my wife, my son of probablyabout two three, no, probably about
three weeks before he was supposed tobe born. The umbilical cord was wrapped
around his neck and we didn't knowit at the time, but that's what
we found out later after they didthe sincereas on my wife and we lost
my son and that was that wasthat was last hold on this twenty twenty

(48:54):
four no. Twenty twenty two December. Almost all the stuff that happened to
me was in the December. Myaccident, the losing my child, even
my last arrest that changed that gotme changing my mind was in December,
and it was just crazy. Andthat was a below the belt type hit.
And but I remember Distinkling sitting alongin my room one night, thinking

(49:19):
like, you're trying real hard forsome reason to do this. I'm like,
I would not give you the satisfactioneven with this hurt to the core.
Yeah, I'm not finna give youthe satisfaction because as soon as I
quit, soon as I give up, there's somebody that was meant to hear
what I got to say, that'sgonna miss out or miss the mark because
I gave up that. No,I'm like, how Jesus told disciples we're

(49:44):
going to the other side. Hedid just say we might may get there.
He said, we're going to theother side. So all the storms
came, if you remember, asthey were traveling to the other side,
But if they would have never madeit to the other side, they would
have never ran into Legion, andand all miracles that had to happen because
somebody needed them the other side.Somebody needed me on the other side.

(50:09):
So if I would have gave upin the midst of my storm, I
would have been messed up. ButI decided, like the three Hebrew boys,
they threw me in the fight, but I'm gonna wrap up with Jesus.
So when they look in the fire, they're gonna forget about the fight
too, And like, hey, look, that looked like Jesus in there
with him and the king. Kinghad to call them out the fire.

(50:30):
Remember they didn't just walk out. They were so wrapped up in Jesus,
right, Yeah, Man, Idecided to get so wrapped up in Jesus
I forget, not necessarily forgot whatwhat was around me, but I didn't
focus on what was happening around mebecause I know He had a greater in
store for Man. He was keepingme, you know, on God.

(50:51):
That's it. So wrapped up inGod, and it keeps you right here,
keeping it no matter what the enemy, because that's what the enemy trying
to do. Anyway, anything hethink he can do to to cheer us,
to throw us off the track,to get us going another direction,
he already knows the ending. That'sit. You know, he already knows.
He already knows the knowing thing that'son your life. He already knows
the glory that God is gonna getfrom your life. You already knows the

(51:14):
souls that are gonna be impacted byyour life. So he's saying, oh,
now, how can I stop thisfrom because once he realized he can't
get you, that's when he touchesthe stuff around you. And that's what
after all that stuff I went through, he realized, Oh, he ain't
finna give up. I know, let me. Hear him really hurt.
And now he's just like, bro, I don't know what I'm finna do

(51:36):
because this joker. Yeah, I'mlike Joe right about now. Though you
slay me yet, will I trustyou? Will? I trust you?
You know what I'm saying Because everythingI have, everything I have had,
I know I got it from you. So if you if you don't do
nothing else for me, you've alreadydone enough. Right, I'm a persevered
just because when I think about thegoodness of Jesus as the oldest things to
say, that's all he's already donefor me, Not what really to do,

(52:00):
not what he's about to do.But just because of what he's already
done, already done, that's enoughmotivation to keep going. Yeah, you
know the songwriter, what's the song? The songwriter says, Uh, if
he don't do nothing else, he'salready done enough, already done enough.
If the Lord don't do nothing elsefor me, you know, and like

(52:22):
and like you think you think aboutJoseph, Yeah, about Joe, you
know it may it make it feellike kind of like light work what we
be dealing with. Right, Listen, really listen for real, for really
you think you got a bad preachsomething like that? What do you think
you got a bad check these guysout right? Right? You know what
I say? And what did Godprovide for us? The testimony? Right?

(52:43):
Just what these are when we're readingthese parables and we're reading these stories
about these different men and women ofthe Bible, it's sharing their testimony so
that we could be encouraged, right, to encourage the saints. And that's
why this podcast is so important tome. You know, when I started
it is because you know, youand I were young people. Even though
we own you know, we gettingup there, but we're young. We're
still considered young people. And Isaid there's so many young people that are

(53:07):
connected to me that are lost, you know what I mean't think it's so
many people they're not thinking about Jesus. Then I think about the Bible.
When I've since I've been out here, I moved to Atlanta. I visited
so many churches because I'm looking fora church home. You know, I
think I found one. I'm prayingabout it. But I've just been going
from church to church looking for achurch home. And one thing I noticed

(53:29):
is a common denominator in all thechurches. Where are the youth. There's
no youth in the in the churches. Now, there are some where there's
like I mean, I think themost I've seen is like maybe like twelve
to fifteen little kids. I'm sayingage is between like three and twelve.
But where are the teenagers? They'reat home. You know, we're living

(53:50):
in a different time, a differentgeneration. You know, Like we was
drug Yeah, they got a choice. These days, they got a choice.
We didn't have a choice. Wewere drug the church. And then
because we were drugs, I wouldn'tlike you. You know, you did
the opposite. You ran because Iwas drug to church. That was a
part of who I was. Soeven when I went off to college,
I didn't feel right if I goton Sunday and I didn't go to church.

(54:10):
You know, to this day, like I rarely miss church on Sunday
because it just don't feel right whenI don't go to church, you know.
And so and not that it's aboutyou know, I mean, I
know because I had the same feelingeven though I won't going, I still
had the same feeling on the inside. Yeah, like yeah, I supposed
to be going. Yeah I'm wrongnow, So you know. It's so

(54:34):
I just had a heart to tryto reach the young people that are connected
to me. I was like, you know, whatever, young people are
following me, you get you getthe word in my raps too, if
you really pay attention to the rapjust like you like you said, if
you really pay attention, Almost allof my wraps are scriptural. But I
want to actually come and sit downwhere they know they getting the word and

(54:54):
we can talk about it. Wecan discuss it. They have questions.
Like I said, I'm not aBible scholar, but I read the Word
and I have can I'm connected topeople that are Bible scholars. So if
I have a question, I cancall my bishop, or I can call
the apostle to Reese Jordan, Ican call my mama or call my Marrion.
Like there's so many people that Ihave connections with, Like if I
don't understand something, God has putme around a plethora of people that can

(55:17):
help enhance my knowledge. And sothat's why I said, let me start
this Bible study. So whoever looking, we can read this Bible, we
start talking about it because it mattershow we live this life, and the
people is giving us the instruction onhow to live it. So if we're
not reading that, then we outhere just free falling, right, We
just out here living how we wantto live with no accountability. And so
that was what was important. Andthen like having people like you who can

(55:42):
share their testimony about what God hasdone for them, because some young man
may see this who's after and notrealizing that they're not getting no rest because
they haven't given God a yes.And so just hearing you say, hey,
God said, when I give hima yes, I can get some
risk that might trigger some young man'sI was like, that's why I'm riskless.

(56:02):
That's why that's why I'm uncomfortable inthe situation I'm in because God is
trying to get my attention. Theymight not have thought about that before,
but now that you've shared your experience, is helping somebody prayer for So yeah,
yeah, it's gonna help somebody, even just help one. That's I
told the Lord. If it justhelp one that's listen, that's what I'm
about. That's what I just toldsome about on the last interview I was

(56:25):
doing right before I came on here. I have people sometimes apologize to me
now like oh, same o,GI, we sorry, you know,
only this many people came, youknow, when I'm not going out to
do consorts and stuff like that. That's like, well, no, many,
These are the people that need tobe here because my my ministry and
what I do is not based onhow many people is here. That's right.

(56:45):
It's based on the souls here.So I'm gonna get out five the
same thing. I'm gonna get outfive thousand, that's right, the same
energy, the same passion, becauselike I said, it's not about how
many people are here, it's aboutwho's here, that's right, the ones
that needed to hear what I got. So if I already ordain them to
be there. He's all knowing. So if he wanted a thousand people to

(57:07):
show up, is there anything toohard for God? He would have sent
a thousand people, because sometimes it'sjust these few that he needs to really
feel that impact. And I feellike most of the time, because I
share that experience as well. SometimesI go and it's five hundred people,
or even like when I make gramblingand stuff like that, ten thousand people's

(57:28):
thousand people. But sometimes you goto that church and it's forty five people
or twenty five people. But Ifeel like that's when God really moves and
he really gets the glory and you'reable to really just tear it there in
the presence of God. When youdon't have a lot of people and you
ain't trying to get on with theprogram, you know, you allow God
to have his way. And thatseems to happen more in smaller settings where

(57:51):
God can really have his way.Yeah, oh no, that's real.
That's really you're saying. And Ilove that about you. Like that.
I think more artists need to beabout that. You know, some people
get mad and upset when it's nota big house or you know, well,
what is it really about. It'sabout the soul, that's it.
I mean, they asked me,you just want to reschedule. No,
I'm not rescheduling for what. Yeah, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna hurt

(58:15):
them because the other ones didn't showup, that's right. No, no,
no, that's on them because andthen if you think about it from
a let's say, you think aboutit from a marketing perspective. So you
go out there and you have stepfor these fine, you know, social
media is out there right now, right now. That's how I got the

(58:37):
power to taste away five thousand morepeople that probably because you change them,
you right, those five. Oneof those in that five may be like
the man who Jesus when he toldthem, don't go tell nobody what I
just did for you, and thatone said, no, I got to
go tell it. You know whatI'm saying. Well, first he came
back and gave thanks, and thenhe you know what I'm saying, somebody

(59:00):
gonna be like, man, listen, you got to hear lyric when I
tell you that ministry is so powerful, you got to go here, same
og man for real? That's whatYeah? Man, Oh, next time
you come, you may have fiftythousand people. That's right. That's right,
brother Brit. I see you've beencomed any brother Britt, he said,
there's so many lost souls. That'sright. And that's what it's about.

(59:22):
That's what it's about. It's notabout me being leric. It's not
about you being same o g It'sabout us being vessels that are in a
willing position to allow the Lord touse us, to work through us,
to be able to share this gospel. He said, if he be lifted
up, he'll draw all men untohim. So that's what we do when

(59:42):
we go out. We're just liftingup the name of Jesus. And I
know sometimes you know, the moreseasoned saints, you know, they they
feel like, oh, y'all yourapping. That's worldly. No, it's
not worthy because we're not talking aboutthings of the world. We're talking about
the Gospel. We're sharing the Gospel, and it just happens to be a
beat. There's a the more hipthan what you might listen sing. If
that's the case, singing of theworld. All this other stuff is of

(01:00:05):
the world, just like it's rappingindustry. It's most singles than rappers.
So I tell people, first ofall, putting God in a box,
come on here quick, putting Godin the box, you don't know what
he's knowing at that next little personto come up with that. If they're
doing it for the glory of Godand the wind souls, why would you
even knock that down? Why wouldyou? You can't be doing that what

(01:00:30):
they're trying to. You're gonna discouragethem because they're trying to do something to
help win or soul. They probablycan't sing like the next person. Maybe
all they do is know how topraise dans. Maybe all he do know
is how to wrap you. Lethim listen to all the other trash.
So if you decide to take thatskill and say, you know, I'm
a rap about Jesus, let himrap. You don't know who he might

(01:00:52):
be. Men, just because yougot to say it on a charge to
keep our head, which I thoughtwas Ray Charles for so long, let
him come up baptist. I'm likemama, why they're saying about Ray Charles
and the urny. Just because yougot saved off a charge and to keep
I had moved you, you gotevolved. That's why the word is a
living word that come out hereound.I tell them it's like an old house

(01:01:16):
that's been passed down generations generation.Sometimes you got to renovate it. Now,
when you renovate, you don't changethe foundation, that's right. You
teed down Wallsey, you rebuilding. You change some things on top of the
foundation, right, And that's whatthis is when you menace into a lot
of stuff went back in the seventiesand in sixties, No, they didn't
have rapping all that, But asthe generations evolved, so it was the

(01:01:38):
way that you RepA that's right. The way the message has it has to
evolved. You know, COVID madeso many evolved, right, because you
know people were stuck in their ways. But now you look, everybody churches
online, everybody church on Facebook. You know, COVID forced some people to
have evolved. And it's the sameway even with the music, have to

(01:02:00):
evolve to be able to reach everybody. Right, what did Paul say?
I became all things right? Andso we have to make sure that we're
able to be used by God inthe capacity that he wants to use us.
And that's why I know I don'thave no doubt when God called me
in a rapping because I knew thisis not me. I don't like rap,
you know, and you know, people get mad and they say that.

(01:02:20):
I'm like, I don't listen torap. I ain't rap, not
my thing. Like so when Godcalled me and this, I knew this
was all this got to be.You go, that's not That's not something
I would have just chose for myself. And so I just had to be
obedient. Even we tay you wasa foolish thing to confine the wives.
That was foolish to me. Likeyou tall, you take a genre that
I that's that's the least my leastfavorite. I love all music, but

(01:02:43):
it is just my least favorite, you know, especially you know, since
we got away from Tupac and youknow, and so uh, it's like
God is calling me into this becausewhat else was It's not self right.
And that's one thing that I tryto encourage young people, Like when you're
listening for the Holy Spirit, youlisten for the guiding. Usually it's gonna
be opposite of self. It's gonnabe opposite of flesh. Where when you

(01:03:06):
know the Lord speaking to you iswhen he tells you something that you know
yourself wouldn't want to do. Well, you know that this is not something
that's not a selfish desire. Thisis not selfish ambition. Then most most
of the time, especially when theyre lined with the word, it's gonna
be the Holy Spirit unctioning you todo something or pushing you towards it.
So we just need to be sensitiveto that and follow the Holy Spirit because
he has a plan and the purposefor us, just like he had for

(01:03:27):
Joseph. No matter the trials tribulations, no matter the set backs, no
matter how the enemy tries to comeagainst you, whether they try to take
your life and car wrecks and cariacsis, no matter if he tried to get
you incarcerated, no matter what theenemy tries to do, God has the
ultimate say, and he's already predestinedus. So everything works together for the
good of those who are what causeaccording to here. So we know that

(01:03:51):
we have the victory. We knowthat God is gonna do it for us,
and so I thank you so much. We done went over our time,
but I think so much. Takinga time out with me to share
with my listeners your testimony and listenif you want to pray us out,
please feel free to if not ourprayers out by. You know, I
like to ask my guests, youknow, because I don't praise us in
