Aymen, all right, So we'regonna get into this word of God
on tonight. Tonight's scripture, we'regonna be coming from Hebrews eleven. Hebrews
eleven. Listen, it says, now faith, how about that? Now?
Now, faith is being sure ofwhat we hope for and certain of

(05:01):
what we do not see. Thisis what the ancients were commanding commended for.
I'm sorry, we're commended for allright. So we're talking about faith.
We're gonna skip down. I wantto skip down to verse six,
and it says, and without faith, it is impossible to please God because

(05:23):
anyone who comes to him must believethat He exists and that he rewards those
who earnestly seeks him. Let's goto God for a word of prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father, we just thankyou for another day. God. There
was a promise to us God.God, we thank you for your unfailing
love, your unconditional love. God. We thank you for the forgiveness of
our sins, for you sending yourson to din across Lord Jesus so that

(05:46):
we may be saved God, God, and we just thank you for that
right now. God, we thankyou for your loving kindness, God,
for keeping us God through everything thatwe're going through. God. God,
I just asked that you would justuse me on tonight. God, God,
help us to make this word plain. God. God, let the
people that are hearing the word receivethe God and their hearts. God Open
ask that you would just open thehearts and their minds to receive what the
spirit is saying. God. Godmoves self out of the way, God,

(06:09):
and let the Holy Spirit lead aswe continue to go into your word,
Lord Jesus. Lord, help usto be able to apply this word,
to not only be hearers of yourword, God, but to be
doers of your word. God.God. We know that you're calling us
higher God, and we just askyou that you continue to help us and
lead us in God Is God,Holy Spirit. Have your way. God,
have your way all tonight. Lord, We thank you and we love

(06:30):

them. In the name of Jesus, we pray and ask it all.

I sure do appreciate you all fortuning in, and I know that others
will be coming in as they realizewhat time it is. Hey dd haste
this. Thank you for tuning in, and so you know the people will
come on in to join us.So we're talking about faith faith, right,

(07:58):
we've been. We've been journeying throughjourney. He ain't through this word.
Hey Ronnie, hey bro, thankyou for tuning in with me on
tonight. My brother Running was onthat God's Glory prayer line this morning and
we just had a time in theLord. We had a time. We're
trying to get more men to comeon. So all of you men who
are tuning in with me tonight, please please please y'all come on into God

(08:20):
God's Glory line. Uh, untilwe can be on fire for the Lord.
Amen. Jeremiah saying is like fire. Hey, cousin Shay, how
you doing? How you doing?Thank you for tuning in with me on
today. All right? All right, so listen, So can y'all tell

(08:43):
me when you think about the wordfaith, what comes to mind? What
is faith to you all? Youknow we always start out this Bible study,
just kind of dialoguing and thinking aboutwhat these words mean to us.
So somebody out there tell me whenyou think about faith, it says without
faith, it is impossible to pleaseGod. Somebody tell me what you think

(09:05):
about faith. We know there's somany scriptures that in the Word of God
about faith, and we know therewere so many people who exemplified faith,
and we saw miraculous things happen,We saw God move in mighty ways in
their life. Anybody going to tellme faith? When you think about the

(09:26):
word faith, what does that meanto you? Believing, hoping for things,
not seeing? Amen? Amen,So you can't see it? I
used to tell y'all know that.I'm an educator, and so I used

(09:48):
to tell my students, if youdon't see it before you see it,
you'll never see it. How daysyour gray? How you doing? Hello?
Thank you for tuning in. Iappreciate you. If you don't see
it before you see it, you'llnever see it. Complete trust, okay,

(10:09):
shade, complete trust, having completetrust? I like that. I
like that. Anybody else, whatdo you think when you think of the
word faith? Type that in therefor me? What do you think faith
is the substance of things, hopefor the evidence, and I see that's
what the words say. That isour scripture for today Hebrews eleven, Complete
trust and confidence in Thank you,January. Thank you very good, very

(10:30):
good. So I would say thesame thing that you guys are saying.
Faith is believing in something that youcannot see right in knowing, having the
assurance right, anticipating that thing rightwhen we're praying in faith? Are we

(10:54):
anticipating the move of God and whatHe's gonna do in our lives as we're
praying? So we see here itsays and without faith this is verse six.
And without faith it is impossible. That means you cannot do it.
It is impossible to please God becauseanyone who comes to him must believe.

(11:15):
Right. Have you seen God?No, we haven't seen God. Might
we've seen the hand of God movingour lives some of us, but we've
never seen God. Hey, DaVida, thank you so much for tuning
in. I should do appreciate you. Joanna Stokes, She said, hey,
thank you for for tuning in,Joanna. He said, Faith to
me is trusting and believing that itis gonna happen before it happens. That's
right, that's right, and sowe're having the faith right. We are

(11:41):
saved by grace through faith. We'rebelieving even though we have not seen.
And it says that we must believethat He exists and that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him. So wesee that God has built us our He's
the way He's created us. He'screated us to be reward oriented, right,

(12:05):
because he stays right thirty word. It's impossible to please him without the
faith. Right, and we mustbelieve that He exists and that he rewards.
We must believe that, and sowe see that God has designed us
to be reward oriented individuals. Thething I feel like we in this new

(12:26):
generation right, because when you're receivinga reward that is uh in exchange for
something right, you're being rewarded becauseyou've done something. The generation we're living
in now, they want to berewarded when they've done nothing. Can I
gotta Can I get an amen?We have a lot of entitled It might
just be middle school because I teachmiddle school. Ef Antelis Marie is on.

(12:48):
Thank you for being on. We'veshouted out God's glory line on this
evening, and I'm looking forward towhat God is doing and what He's gonna
do. But when this generation,me being a middle school educator, I
find that these kids they want thereward without the work. They don't want
to put in anything. They justwant to get the They want to reap

(13:11):
the reward. But that's not howit works, right, we have to
there's something that we have to do. We have to when we're activating our
faith. Whether the Bible says faithwithout works is what dead. Right,
So me having faith, but I'mnot putting any action, any work with
that faith, then that faith doesn'tamount to anything. Okay, that faith

(13:33):
is dead. And so even whenwe look in the Bible. Hey,
cousin Alisa, thank you for beingon. Thank you for being on.
I am here to encourage. Iwant to encourage my brothers and sisters in
Christ because I know sometimes we getlaxa daisical where we don't put in the

(13:56):
effort of the work. Right. You hear people say, I must be
about my father's business, but youknow, we're just lounging around and we're
just you know, not we don'thave a sense of urgency when it comes
to serving in the Kingdom. Right, a lot of people don't even go
to church nowadays. You know, they don't even bother to get up and

(14:16):
go to the House of the Lord. And you know, and I know
that you can tune in online, you know, and everybody talking about these
illnesses, but you can get upand go everywhere else. Right, we
don't want to go to church becauseCOVID and the flu and all these things.
And we can watch it from thecomfort of our homes on the TV
or the computer, and we cansit on our recliners or in the bed,

(14:37):
and we don't have to get upand get dressed. But we get
up and go to the basketball gamesand the football games, and the brunch
and lunch and restaurants and all theseplaces where you can catch the same thing
that you're gonna catch your church. But we make all of these excuses when
it comes to going to the Houseof the Lord. We don't want to
do anything for the Lord. Wejust want the Lord to give give you

(14:58):
of us. He's calling us tobe obedient, hey, Marcus saying O
G thank you for tuning in.God is calling us to obedience to his
word, to do what he's calledus to do. But we don't want
to do that. We just wantto reap all the benefits. I see
so many people on my timeline, you know, talking about how they're they're

(15:20):
they're going to heaven and and they'reliving and they're saved and they're doing these
things, but their lifestyle doesn't representthat. You know, when you look
on their social media, you knowthey're cussing and and uh fussing and fighting
and you know, putting out tearingpeople down, and you know, not
showing love and you know, wearingrevealing clothes and drinking and clubbing, and

(15:45):
you know, it's just all thesethings. And it's I'm saying like,
Okay, you're professing Christ, butwe're living contradictory to what we're professing.
Right, And so we're gonna lookat them scriptures here because I want us
to understand that there's a reward system. There's so many scriptures it says,
if you do this, then he'lldo this. Right. If my people,

(16:07):
we're gonna get to that one whoare called by my name, So
there's an if then right. There'sthere's a give and take that that goes
on that we are we're missing. There's gotta be some diligence, right,
Anything that you are striving for youhave to put effort into that. You
know, I have a college degree, but I didn't just wake up and
get a college degree, right.I had to do something to earn that,

(16:32):
right. I had to go tocow with you know. It took
me a little longer than four years. I was on the five and a
half your track. But because ofmy diligence, because of my dedication,
I didn't give up. Then Iwas able to reap the reward. I
was able to receive the degree, right. And so I just want to
talk about that, because it's veryhard to be successful in anything without you

(16:56):
putting in some work, all right, So let's look at over we have
it over in second Caronicles. Hesays, if my people, I think
we talked about this scripture of thelast two three weeks. I keep bringing
this one up, but it's sopowerful. If my people, who are
called by my name will humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and
turn from their wicked ways, thennot before then I will hear from heaven

(17:26):
and I will heal their land.Anybody need their land to be healed?
On today? Well, there's somethingthat you must do. Right. You
just can't lay around and think thatGod is gonna move and you haven't done
anything. He says, if mypeople who are called, so those of
us who are called, what dowe have to do? Be humble,
submit to Christ. Know that weare nothing without God. So we humble
ourselves knowing that He is the head. Right, That's what we're doing,

(17:49):
is when we humble ourselves, we'resubmitting to Christ's authority. Right, So
we're submitting to him. We're prayingand seeking his face. Michael tells us,
if we seek Ye first the kingdom, everything else to be added to
us. So if we would humbleourselves and seek his face, pray and
seek his face, turn from ourwicked ways, right, stop sinning,

(18:14):
go and sin no more right throughthe power of the Holy ghosts. Right,
So when we learn the the couplicego, you have to have the
power of the Holy ghost. Wecannot do it on our own right.
So we have the power through thepower of the Holy ghosts. We turn
from those wicked ways. Then hewill hear from heaven and he will heal
our land. John fifteen and sevensays, if you abide in me.

(18:37):
If you remain in me and myword abides or remains in you, then
there it is again. Okay.So if you abide in me and my
word abides in you, then youcan ask what you will and it will
be done for you. Right. That's how we active that faith. We're

(19:00):
praying for something, we're asking Godfor something. What we gotta do?
What we have to abide in Christ, Jesus and allow His word to abide
in us height that work in ourheart, then we could ask. Right,
people say, you hear the oldsaying can you get a prayer through?
Can we get a prayer through? That means everybody can't get a prayer

(19:22):
through. Right, So when you'rewe live in filthy lives and lives that
are not pleasing to the Lord, and we praying and repraying and praying for
those prayers reaching God's ears. Right, So we have to make sure that
we're living a life that's pleasing tothe King. We need to make sure
that we're abiding in Christ so thatwe may be able to breathe the reward
of asking what we will and thatthing being done, okay, according to

(19:45):
God's will? All right? AndI learned that you know, because I
always say that all the time youget a desire of your heart. You
know, if you abide me andmy word ad buys you, you ask
what you will and the Lord togive your desires of your heart. But
as you abide in Him, thedesires of your heart will conform to what
his will is. Right. Iused to want things that weren't in the

(20:10):
will of God for myself. Hello, I believe that's the Basin's roles.
Thank you so much for coming on. I appreciate you, okay, But
I believe that the more that Istarted bidying in him and his words started
abiding in me, my heart startedchanging. The desires of my heart started
changing. I didn't desire those thingsof the flesh. I started desiring the

(20:33):
things of the spirit and what Godhas. And so it'll line up with
God's will. When you abide inhim, your life will line up with
the will of God, and youwill desire the things of God. And
those are the things that He willgive you. Right you sitting here,
you, oh, I want amillion dollars. You know, no money
is good. We need money tobe able to advance the Kingdom of God.
But the love of money right,we have to be careful of all

(20:56):
right. But looking at math thruthirty three what I said just a second
ago, seek first the Kingdom ofGod, and all these things will be
added to you. Hey, Jennifer, thank you for tuning in so much.
I appreciate you, guys. Thelove and support that you guys show
me week after week is so incredible, and I just love you, and

(21:18):
I want you to know that Itruly do appreciate you. God bless you
for taking time out of your scheduleto be here with me as we go
into the world of God together.Iron sharpens iron, And just like I
tell you guys every week, ifyou hear me say something that is incorrect,
please please don't hesitate to correct me, because that's what it is about
learning and growing together, right,Iron sharpening iron, And so I appreciate

(21:42):
you letting me know if I errorin some way, please please let me
know. That's your favorite verse, all right, Hey, listen, It's
a powerful one, and it's onethat God has really been dealing with me
a lot lately, because you know, I'm getting up in age, and
you know, I got all thesethings going, and so there's been some
things that I'm wanting God to dofor me. It's Valentine's that's coming up.

(22:03):
You know. I'm desiring to bemarried, desiring a husband, and
so these things I'm like, youknow, I want, And God says,
keep your eyes on me, seekthe kingdom. And as you seek
the kingdom and follow my leading inmy direction, he everything that He has
for me. I'm gonna walk intoit, right, people, But I

(22:25):
have to be what walking into it. I have to have the faith,
and I have to keep the faithand keep abiding in God and his word.
You know a lot of people say, well, God has for me,
it is for me. You know, people always used to like to
say that term. You know, well God has for me, it is
for me. Yes, But sometimeswe can miss what God has for us.
Right. God has the Promised Landfor the Israelites, didn't he?
But they wandered around murmuring and complaining, right, and so they You can

(22:51):
miss what God has for you ifyou're not in alignment. Right. We
need to make sure that we arealigning ourselves up with the word of God.
We're walking in obedience and doing whatGod has called us to do.
Right. Let's look at over Ihave written down over in Malachi in chapter
three, it says that if youpay your tithes and your offering, then

(23:17):
I will open up a window andpour you out a blessing. You don't
have room enough to receive. Right, we talk about that we love to
hear about prosperity and blessings from God, but we don't like to hear about
giving and paying our tithes. Youknow, people like say, oh,
his old Testament, right. Youknow, we use the Bible and scriptures
the way that we want to usethem sometimes, you know, and we

(23:38):
can't do that right. We haveto make sure that we are having an
understanding, make sure we're praying, asking God for wisdom and understanding as we
read his words. Because without theHoly Spirit, you don't need you're never
gonna know what you're reading. Butwhen you have the Holy Spirit, you
can ask him for wisdom and guidanceand understanding as you're reading, and He
will reveal to you of what youshould be doing. Right. So,

(24:03):
for those who believe like, oh, I don't have to pay my tithes,
I tiede my time or you know, you know, and as important
as well. But some people whomake excuses about tithing and tithing and saying
it's in the Old Testament. Ijust encourage you to pray and ask God
what it is that he would haveyou to do, right, because if
you don't have the Holy Spirit,he will lead you in the way that
you need to go. Right.Over in Matthew chapter eighteen, it says,

(24:27):
if two will agree on anything onearth, then your Father will do
it in heaven. Right Deuteronomy twentyeight to eleven, if you diligently obey
the voice of the Lord your Godto observe carefully all his commandments, which
I commanded you today, that theLord your God, then he will set

(24:49):
you high above all the nations ofthe earth. Right. Last one I
wrote down over in Isaiah, keepyour mind on me. I will keep
you in perfect peace. Those ofus who are needing to peace. Right,
if we keep our mind stayed onChrist, he will keep us in

(25:11):
perfect peace. Right. So wesee as time and time again in the
scripture that the blessing comes after theif after you've done your part, if
you pay God his tithes, Iam a witness that he is faithful to
provide. Amen. Amen, Hey, sister, they near thank you for

(25:33):
joining me. Listen, I'm soglad I got people in here all over
the United States. I appreciate y'all. Listen. That's right. Since I
can attest to it myself, Ihave. I was raised, you know.
That's why the Bible says train upyour child in the way that they
should go, and when they're older, they will not depart from it.
I was raised to pay my tithes, right, So it's never been a
question of mine or thought or anything, because that's how I was trained up.

(25:55):
To pay your tithes. But Ido remember being in college working,
and especially when I graduated from college, there were some times where I felt
like, I'm gonna do something elsewith my money, and uh, you
know, I've been paying my tiessince I was sixteen years old, so
it'd be all right, you know, I can't make up, but I'm
gonna do this. And I experiencedso much hardship. It was like every

(26:21):
time, you know, like mymother was letting me know, like,
nope, don't do that, Hey, mama, thanks for being on I
didn't know you wrong, but yes, my mama dale zone. And then
she raised me to pay my tithes. And so there were times where I
would do something else, you know, if I want to go to a
concert or something else I want todo. And I say, you know,
because times that ten percent, youknow, that's some hundreds of dollars.

(26:45):
After you can graduate to college andyou know you have a job that's
paying decent and it's like, man, you know, I could use this
four five hundred dollars on something else. And so there were a couple of
times that I did that. Andhelping others that is struggling financially. You

(27:07):
said, I'm not understanding your question. You're saying, is that like giving
your tithes, paying people, helpingpeople? So I do give to the
poor. You know, we knowthat famous Shirley sees the song if you
want to be blessed, pay yourtithes and your offering. If you want
more, give to the poor. And so, yes, I do believe
in given to the poor. Itry to do that every opportunity that God

(27:30):
gives me. But I also believein paying my tithes into the church that
I belong to as well. Wehave to bring you your ties into the
storehouse so that maybe meeting my breath. You know, the bills of the
church have to be paid. Andyou know, so many times that falls
on the shoulders of the shepherd ofthe leader when when you have people that

(27:52):
are not faithful in paying your tithes. You know, the tithes are there
for the upkeeping of God's building, and so we need to make sure that
we all giving our tithes and offeringto the House of the Lord, to
a ministry, you know. Andif you don't belong to a church,
I encourage you to seek a churchhome. I think it's important. The
Bible tells us to forsake, uh, not the fellowship we have to gather,

(28:15):
right and so for sake, notthe gathering of yourselves together the assembly,
and so we have to come togetherwith like minded people. Hi,
Diana, how you doing? Gladto have you on? Tell pastor play
and I said hello, I'll beis on as well. Tell him,
I say hello. But we haveto make sure that we are doing what

(28:37):
God has called us to do andget to the House of the Lord.
Right there's accountability there, you know, And you have to find pray and
ask God to send you to theplace where you need to be. And
right now I'm just still a memberof my church in Texas, you know,
And I'm going to church in Atlanta. I'm visiting different churches, but

(28:57):
I have not found a church homein Georgia yet, And so I'm praying
and asking God for the discernment andto help me and lead me, and
God be in that where He wouldhave me to be. But I tune
in with my pastor that I loveso dearly Pastor Victor Beck on YouTube.

(29:18):
I thank God for social media andallowing me to be able to still tune
in with my church home and bea part of my church family there.
But I encourage you to find abody of Christ so that you may attend
because it's important. It's important forus to get together. So I just
wanted to I have so many Igot so many more notes, guys,

(29:38):
but you know how I do everyTuesday, that time run up so fast.
Evangelist Rosine, Hey, thank youso much for tuning in. You
say, Amen, it's godly importantthat we are under spiritual covering. Amen,
we must have a spiritual covering. It blows my mind how many Christians
are not covered, and you knowthat, and they're not even interested in

(30:00):
finding that spiritual covering. You haveto have accountability. If you don't have
a spiritual covering, there's nobody holdingyou accountable. Right, there's nobody walking
with you in discipleship. Right. These things are important for us as believers.
Remember last week we talked about miniwill say, Lord, Lord,

(30:21):
did not do this, and didnot do that, and did not do
this, And he's gonna say, depart from me. I know you not.
You know you are a worker ofiniquity, and we do not want
to hear that, right, Andso we have to examine ourselves and make
sure that our heart posture is rightbefore the Lord, and that we are
listening for his voice and being obedientto what he is calling us and where

(30:47):
he is calling us. All right, listen, So I'm gonna bring in
my special guests on tonight. I'mso excited about you guys hearing the testimony
of this young man. You know, God is raising up our men,
and he's raising up an army. But we need our men, our leaders,
uh to to stand up in thistime, in this perilous times that

(31:10):
we're living in. And so thisyoung man has had suffered lots of adversity
and tragedy. He's he's he's struggledwith his own things, you know,
just like all the other great menof God we've read about in the Bible.
Uh, and so uh, he'sgonna share with us the things that
he's experienced life and how he's overcome, how God has delivered him, and

(31:30):
where God is taken him. Now, please please please welcome in my friend,
brother, Lauren Rodriguez. Hey,hey, hey, how you doing
on this evening? Bro? What'sgoing on? Family? What's going on?
God is good? Ain't he always? Always? Yes? Yes,
tell him, I tell past theplugget I say hello. I'm glad that

(31:52):
he's tuned in. So thank you, thank you for seeing God is good.
It's all the glory to God.Listen, We're doing this for the
glory of God. Amen. TheBible tells us secret Timothy two and fifteen,
study to show yourself approved unto God, working with that needed, not
to be ashamed. Rightley, dividingthe word of truth, and then we

(32:13):
know over revelations tells us that weovercome by the blood of the Lamb and
the power of our in the wordof our testimony. And so that's what
this is all about. And soI have my brother here, and so
go ahead and share your story withthe people. Let them know your testimony,
what God has done in your life. Man, every time I tell
the story, I feel like it'sthat first day ever, you know.

(32:34):
But I always take everyone back towhen Scripture talks about the ninety nine.
You know, he's will leave theninety nine for the one. My story,
My story sits with the ninety nine, and no one like usually when
it's explained, no one talks aboutthe ninety nine. It's always the one,
that person who's going off living doingwhatever, and God, you know,

(32:55):
God brings them back. But mygrandmother, Man, a huge shout
to her. She was the Shewas the typical when your sleep, put
oil on your forehead, praying Monday, Monday for Bible study, Wednesday for
choir practice, Sunday for church, and training you up in the way that

(33:19):
you're supposed to go exactly. SoI always had that, uh, that
foundation of who Jesus was, youknow, never never being young, I
never had that close intimate relationship becauseI didn't understand what it was to have
an intimate relationship. So and Ialways go back to Grandma had me in
church. I was a typical kid, you know, I loved. I

(33:44):
loved the worship. I knew thatwhenever whenever they put me in acquire acquired
the choir, I knew I couldsing. So that's just something that I
enjoyed to do. Okay, Andeverything was normal for me all the way
up until twenty sixty. So atthis point, I'm with she was my
girlfriend at the time, we hadher two kids, and you know,

(34:07):
I'm trying to quote unquote be aman. You know, had a stepfather
in my life. My granddad wasa father figure. My uncle Mike was
an amazing father figure. But athome, it was just you know,
it was just me, my dad, my actual biological father. He lived
in a different city. So beinga man was what I thought it was

(34:29):
from movies and music and things andsuch. So I was with my with
my girlfriend at the time, andwe're sleeps. In the middle of the
night, I get a phone callfrom I believe it was my mom first,
and she's frantic and panicking, andat first I'm like, my mom,

(34:49):
if you knew, and if youknow my mom, my mom,
I knew my mom fought men likemy mom was like the dad, the
mom everything for you know, Somy mom can handle herself. And I
never seen my mom sad or anythinglike that. So when she called me
frantic and panicking, I was like, something's not right, and she's like,

(35:09):
your brother he gone, and I'mlike like, I don't know what
you're talking about. What do youmean? And so what ended up happening
is my little brother had went toa spring up in Gainesville to go swimming
and stay out and camp and somethinghappened to where he drowned. And so

(35:30):
it shocked me because it's my littlebrother. I expect to get a phone
call about my mom being older passingaway, you know. So when I
got that call, I'm like,oh, that doesn't make any sense.
How was he? How old wasyour brother? I want to say sixteen,
I believe, okay, And soI get another call and they're like,

(35:52):
nope, he's back. They broughthim back. And I'm like,
oh, okay, thank you lord. Maybe it was some kind of mix
of or something, and she's alot calmer, hang up the phone,
and I'm sitting there looking at mygirlfriend. I'm like, they said he
died and he came back. Anotherphone call, it's my sister this time,
and they're like yeah, He's gone. And on that day it began

(36:13):
the whole, the whole thing onreal loss, close loss, because I'm
like, I expected to live therest of my life out and die before
my younger brother, not half him, die before me. Right. It
shook me. I was shook, and but I was strong. I believed

(36:34):
in God. I knew that everythinghappened for a reason. It was instilled
in me. And so at thattime I messed up because the way that
I coped was there was another womanand I ended up cheating on my girlfriend
with this woman as a coping mechanism. I was like, you know,
if she gave me time, andit was outside of the realm of what

(36:58):
was going on, and I wascoming up to allow myself to fall short
and fall into that sin, andso I did that. Well that goes
by, and you know, we'removing forward, you know, because life,
life stops for no one. Somoving forward. Twenty eighteen comes and

(37:20):
a month before this happened. Thisis always the part that even gets me
to this day. A month beforethis tragedy, I got extremely sick.
I couldn't hold food down, Ithrew up everything. I was super paranoid
and literally my wife was here, she would account for it. I was
locking my doors, every my cardoor when we walked in the house in

(37:43):
the morning. If I walked inthe house, locked the door behind me,
and I didn't know why because Iwasn't. I didn't live any life
that required me to be so paranoid. And my girlfriend she's like, well,
no, she wasn't my wife. Then my girlfriend she's like, why
aren't you locking all of the housedoors? Wrong with you? And I'm
like, I don't know, andI'm sick. And so going up to

(38:05):
till when it happened, I geta phone call again by of the night.
If you know me, don't callme at past eight o'clock. Yeah,
it could be the simplest thing, like hands want to tell you good
night, I might yell at you. I might. So I get a
phone call in the middle the nightand it's my aunt and she's like,

(38:29):
hey, poo poocause that's nickname.Uh, something happened at your mom's house.
There's police tape, but they're notletting anyone pass this police tape.
But it's near your mom's house.Me, that's Mama, that's Mama,
that's Daddy, that's confident up andthat's best friend. That's uh, someone
I can vent to, someone Ican talk to. I'm like, oh,
it's whatever at this point, andso I tell them, I tell

(38:51):
my girlfriend. I'm like, hey, we got to go. We hop
in the mini van and they wereabout My mom lived about maybe forty minutes
away from me. M h.I know I got there in twenty five
minutes, running every red light ina mini van. Well, I don't
know exactly. And so I remembergetting there and on the curve that led

(39:15):
to my mom's house, it wasall blocked off. I remember seeing the
swat truck, police cars, policelights, and my family's sending right there
me again, I'm the kindest personin the world. I do my best
to live humbly and in harmony witheveryone. That night, I wasn't trying

(39:36):
to hear nothing from cops my family. I went through the tape and started
walking toward toward my mom's house anda cop comes up and grabs me,
like he but it's firm enough towhere it kind of took me out of
trance of get to my mom, because that's all I was thinking about.
Yeah, I looked at him andI just remember that night that I lost
on that cop. Like, Iwas like, bro, if you don't

(39:58):
take at least five steps, byou finna get something. You know,
I'm not playing with you, youknow, because like I said, I
lived. I had a harmonious life, you know, like I didn't have
issues and have problems. My momtook care of me, my grandparents took
carry, my aunt and uncle tookcare of me. So it was good.
Yeah, And he went to drawhis pistol on me. And in
my mind, my uncle, whowas a cop or not, worked in

(40:22):
a correctional facility. He always taughtme that as a as a black man,
you handle yourself different when it comesto police because you never know.
I'm not all police are like that, but in this country, you just
never know. So hey, Icame to it and I'm like, I
put my hands up and I'm like, yo, it's whatever, dude,
I'm just trying to get to mymom's house. And I didn't say it
like that. I didn't say thatit was best words. I told him

(40:45):
to get any day, you know. But I just remember seeing looking and
seeing my mom's story open lights on, and I remember screaming her name.
At least two or three times, just to see if he come to the
door, because if I've seen her, I'm like, okay, I can
chill at that point, right,no answer, I'm freaking out. I'm

(41:07):
panicking. I hear the swat teamdown the road. The guy who did
it. From what I remember,he murdered my mom and sister, ran
down the road and broke into someoneelse's house to hide, I guess.
And so in my left ear,I'm hearing them calling him out of the
house, and my heart is racing. I'm looking at cops. I'm asking

(41:28):
him, it's my mom. Dad, Just tell me, just tell me,
because if you could tell me,I I can have a sense of
I wouldn't say peace. But atthe same time, yeah, I know
what happened, so I can process, right. And the detective he's like,
I can't tell you exactly who's inthe house. I can't tell you.

(41:49):
And he took me to the backof everything and he looked me in
the eyes. He's like, thereare two women in there dead. And
at that moment, man Lyric whenI say, I have never I've read
the scripture about piece that's or pasthis understanding. I have never understood it
until that moment, and if Ican visualize it for everyone. I mean,

(42:10):
I'm looking at the back of acop card. He tells me that,
and everything just like it doesn't gomute, but it's like this,
yeah, yeah, everything is goingon. And I just looked down and
at these leaves and I'm like,I'm about to pass out, and so
I'm like, I don't want towake up with a big knot on my
head, so I need to leanat least to the grass or something.

(42:32):
I felt something wrap around me.Mmm. I don't if I can,
if I can put it in,I don't even know how to. I
never have been able to explain exactlywhat it feels like. But it's like
as if someone took a blanket, wrapped it around you and just squeezed you
just enough to just kind of kindof hold you. Yeah, and m

(42:57):
epic piece peace. I mean, like everything just was. I'm in the
situation. I'm in the chaos.I'm in the storm, if you will
on the shift like how like withJesus when he had to calm the seas.
I'm sitting there and it's just sopeaceful. Wow. And I'm looking
around and I'm like you just wrappedyou up with his loving arms like I

(43:22):
got you. And I've never experiencedthat except for that day. And on
that night when that happened, Iwas just like, something's not right.
But I want to be what whateverthis is going on right now? I
want to stay in this, Yeah, because if I step outside of this,
I'm gonna lose my mind. Andso you want to hold on to

(43:45):
that piece, yes, because likeI said, I explained it to so
many people. It is a piecethat is greater than any peace I have
ever experienced, better sleep after along day. Path is all unders from
God, doesn't matter. The peaceof God has nothing to do with our

(44:06):
circumstance or surroundings, our environment. That that that piece comes from within something
that the Holy Spirit, the HolySpirit is a comforter Amen, exactly.
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. No, you're good. After that,
me and my girlfriend we drove backhome and I began to process.

(44:27):
But they didn't give me the namethat it was. He didn't stay it
with your mother, but he saidit was two women. There's two women
that lived there, my mother andmy sister. Yeah, definitely wasn't used
to hearing them called my little babysister who wasn't grown up woman. So
I didn't believe that either. I'mjust like, whatever it is, it
is. And so we go homeand I go to sleep, and I

(44:49):
wake up and I feel like I'min a fog. My cousin calls me
and he's like, yeah, bro, it was your mom and sister.
Bro. And I cry, butit wasn't It wasn't the morning type of
crying. It was just like Icried because I finally had the answer.
And at that moment to swing backaround to that that infidelity, I went

(45:14):
back to the same girl. Shedidn't my wife, my girlfriend once again,
and I left and I went andmoved on with my cousin. I
wanted to just live. I wantedto just be. I had lost my
baby brother, I had lost mymom and sister, and it just it

(45:39):
really put me in a place towhere I was like, you know what,
God, I'm a step back.Yeah, I'm a step back from
you because and this, these arethese are the words I said. I
said, God, listen to me, dog, you're doing too much.
You're doing too much. And andI didn't hate God, but I was

(46:00):
yeah, because I'm like I've beenin church. I'm in the choir.
Lord, you know, I praiseyou, My kids pray to you,
my wife praised you. I dowe do all We gifted like you,
like you were just thinking about earlier. We gift to the poor, and
we don't even have enough for ourselvesand you do this to me. Yeah.
And I had that toward him forat least I say, a few

(46:22):
weeks. I was like, youknow what left me with my cousin.
I'm like, I'm I'm gonna trysmoking. I'm gonna try everything I can
to try to heal if you will. That's right, that's right, and
that's what we do right as humanbeings. Right, we when we go
through tragedy and we experience not allbut a lot of times, especially for

(46:43):
us young people. Right, that'swhat we're here, want to encourage our
peers and those people that are youknow, not as seasoned saints, you
know, not as maturity. Rice. You know that you know you gotta
hold on to Jesus. You knowthat that's enemy. He that he looking
and he lurking. He want totempt you with those things of the flesh,
Like, okay, give to yourflesh in these times of adversity.

(47:06):
Right, but but you know wehave to learn to stay in the spirit
well even when we experience those things, and not start coping with uh,
with satisfying our fleshly desires. Rightright, yeah, So you started smoking
drinking, man, there's a partof the story that gets me to this
day. So I was smoking.I'm with my cut and I've never done

(47:30):
anything not the enemy. Listen,I'm telling you. The enemy around looking
like a liar. You for anopen door. If he's looking for a
foothold, you know, he's lookingone way, like how can I get
it? How can I get?Oh? Wounded? Now this is my
time. You know, said, what did you do? You rent your
cousin's house, which I'm sure allowedyou access to those things, right,

(47:53):
You put yourself in an environment wherenow you have access, and then so
go ahead, go ahead. Andso I started smoking and just doing whatever.
I was like, you know what, I'm gonna try everything the world
says, I'm gonna give it achance. And so I did that.
And there are a few times whereI did feel something, but it wouldn't

(48:14):
It wasn't as great like how Iwatched them. I'm like y'all aren't high,
and y'all seem super y'all laughing andstuff, and it's like, for
me, it's a giggle here anda giggle that, but it ain't working.
And I did that for months, and my grandma told me, like
recently, like the end of lastyear, say, you know what,
grandson, the number one thing Iprayed for you was that you would not

(48:34):
get addicted to anything, that Jesuswould not allow you to get addicted.
And I told her, I said, well, I mean you realized that
I tried so hard but nothing worked. Nothing, no dream, no,
we know nothing. Amen. AndI was just I was just being man.
I was just being I stopped smokingbecause I was like, it's not
doing anything for me, and Inever really wanted to do it. And

(48:58):
that leads me to when I andthis the end. How can I say
it? It was the beginning ofmy end, but the beginning of God's
beginning for me. Okay. Mygirlfriend she was like again, yeah,
she was like, Hey, thechurch is going on this on this trip.
You don't go to church anymore,but I don't care if you're not
with me. I don't care ifyou're gonna be with me anymore, but

(49:19):
please do on this trip for yourself. It's a trip to Dnaloga, Georgia.
I'd never been out of out ofFlorida before, okay, but it
was a trip to out of statewith fifty random random dudes, okay,
and to Georgia. I think it'scalled Dnalogadnaloga, Georgia, okay, okay,
and fifty random men. Yeah, fifty random dudes. And they got

(49:43):
us on this mountain and they're like, where you're gonna hear from God?
And me, I'm like, bro, I hear that so much. Bro,
you know God told me this, you knowing during well, God ain't
even say nothing to you, butI gave it a chance. And so
fast forward to where they told usyou're gonna go into kayak on a river.

(50:04):
First, I was already freaked outby the campaign because I don't know
if y'all can tell, but I'mblack. You know, camping. Camping
is not not on tenerary for us. I don't know about everybody, but
for how I was okay, okay, But he was like, you're gonna
get on this kayak and I wantyou to write all the questions you have
forgot and he's gonna answer. AndI'm like, all right, earl,

(50:27):
you wasted time. But all right. When I say I got in this
kayak and wasn't on it for morethan thirty seconds, I heard it,
and it gives me. It givesme. I can feel the spirit every
time I talk about this. Godspoke to me on that kayak. An
audible voice, a soft, soft, soft, audible voice spoke to me
on that kayak. The first questionI got was why did you take my

(50:51):
mom? And he said, Ididn't take your mother. The world took
your mother. But what I'm goingto do with that situation be greater than
anything you've ever experienced. And Iwas like, all right, so there's
a guy. All right. Weestablished that because there is no other reason
why I get that answer when I'vebeen searching for that for the last what

(51:13):
year? Mm hmm, And aboutwhy I lost my brother, just all
the questions were answered right then andthere. And on that day, I
was like, I'm tapped back in, I'm back into the game, I'm
off the sidelines, I'm ready,I'm ready to do it. I came
back off the trip proposed to mywife as soon as we got back to

(51:36):
the church, the worship, theworship leader. He actually took a guitar
string because I didn't have a ring, because I didn't plan on doing that,
but he took a guitar string, made it into a ring and gave
it to me to give to mywife. Wow. And ever since then,
ever since then, I have beenlike head over heels for God,

(51:58):
Like God is my guy? Helike, go to is my dude?
We locked in? Yeah, yeah, listen, Well, I can definitely
see the things that God has beendoing in your life. You know,
you and I have been connected nowsince what twenty nineteen nineteen, like right
right after those tragedies, I've metyou. You know, you were sharing

(52:21):
those things with me, and I'mlike, oh my God, Like this
man has been through some things, you know, and so you know,
I share with you by my dadbeing murdered as well. You know,
so you know, kind of tryingto relate a little bit. But I've
just been watching you, you know. You know, I'm a huge fan.
I love I love your music justit's so unique, it's so different

(52:43):
from anything else that I've heard.Ever. When I was living in San
Diego, af there in California,Man, I I was listening to you
every day, you know, andjust inspired. Your voice is so unique.
Listen, I'm gonna get you toshare a few hit, a few
notes for us. So start thinking. You call the people, you can
say, give us a little bitof a little himanal or something, you

(53:07):
know, the people. But I'vedefinitely seen you know how God has moved
in your life, and and soI know, like even you know with
how He has restored your your family. You know, you were, like
you said, you have some infidelityeven before marriage, you know, but
she stuck with you and stayed byyour side. You know, you have

(53:28):
a beautiful family. Tell us aboutyour family. How many kids you got?
You know, man, four beautiful, amazing, beautiful, they are
beautiful. I want to beat himup majority of the time. I'm not
gonna lie, but they are amazing. How many boys do you have?
Three boys and one girl? Yeah? Yeah, beautiful, beautiful family,
beautiful wife. And I could justsee you know what God is doing in

(53:51):
your life even with the relocating andall those things. So well, tell
me what's the next thing God hasfor you? What's coming up new with
you? Well, the the mainthing is that I want to had and
this year we prayed about it,but I want to had enlisted in the
United States Navy. Okay, okay, Navy, right, all right,

(54:14):
Okay, that's awesome. And soI'll be leaving out boot camp. I'll
believing out March fourth, March fourth, okay? Or are you gonna be
headed for boot camp? Were theygreat Lakes Illinois? Great legs? Okay?
That's awesome. Well, listen, thank you so much for you know,
that commitment that you have made toserve our country. We appreciate you

(54:35):
doing that. You know, ifyou could tell because you you you have
been through a lot, you know, and and tragedy is one of those
things that I feel it takes alot of people down. Like you said,
you started dibbling and dabbling and drugsand drinking. And I think that
that that's a lot of people thatcan relate. There's a lot there are
a lot of people that can relateto that. You know that because of

(54:58):
something traumatic that happened in their lives, they're trying to cope with that pain.
Instead of you know, finding healingin Jesus and in the word,
they try to feel everything else tofill that void. And you know,
and praise God that you had agrandmother praying against she was buying the hands
of the enemy and telling God tosave you and not let you be addicted

(55:21):
to anything. And so I blessGod for that. But what could you
say that could be encouraged to someonewho might be dealing with that right now?
They're using drugs and things like thatas a coping mechanism for dealing with
whatever tragedy, whatever they're dealing within their lives. What encouraging word could
you give those people? I definitelytell them that if you're looking to heal,

(55:45):
there's two different things I can tellyou. If you want a band
aid and a quick fix that won'tlast, go to drugs. If you
want something that's not going to helpyou, that is actually going to cause
more damage not only to you,but to your family, to your to
your health, to your emotions,to to your mental health, yeah you

(56:06):
can go there. But if youwant a healing, a regeneration of a
wound, a healing of past traumas, hurts, habits and hang ups,
Jesus Christ, the only way,it's only no other way, the only
way that's right, that's right.Yeah, and listen it doesn't matter where

(56:29):
you are, right, Jesus iswaiting on you. Why, arms wide
open. There's nothing that you've donethat's so bad. Right, All we
have to do is confess our sins. Right, turn to the Lord,
ask him, cry out to himand say, Lord help me. And
that's what I'm encouraging. Anybody whois under the side of my voice.

(56:50):
If you see this, you viewthis, ask God to come into your
heart to clean you up, becausehe will do it. Ask him to
create in you a clean heart,to take those things that are not christ
like out of you. Right, and you remember what this whole Bible said.
He was about. You do haveto do the work right. You

(57:12):
have to do your part right. The Bible told it some of the some
things come out by fasting and praying. So there's some things that you're gonna
have to fast about. You knowthat, some strongholds. You know,
you're gonna have to put in somework to receive your deliverance and to be
able to walk in that deliverance. But we have to do the work.
We got to put one foot infront of another, you know. And

(57:36):
as you do it, as youcontinue to do it, you will get
stronger. We talked about whichever, whichever, whichever dog you feed the most,
that's gonna be the strongest. Youknow, if you're feeding that flesh,
your flesh is gonna be stronger, but if you're feeding the spirit.
And so we have to make surewe're intentional and about what we're doing.
Right when we wake up in themorning, we're praying and asking God to

(57:58):
take us through that day, tokeep us, hold us and lead us
and guide us. And we haveto be intentional about our walk with Christ.
Right, we have to work outour own soul salvation with fear and
trembling. Right, brother, canyou give us give us a few notes
before we close out here? Also, I don't know, would you like
to pray us out? You know, whenever I have a man on,

(58:20):
I guess I should do with allmy guests, but especially whenever I have
a man on, I always liketo ask him, you know, hey,
do you want to pray us out? To give him that opportunity?
Because I do believe in a mana leading, you know, But if
you don't, I will definitely dothat. But you said you want to
pray, so good, so goand give us a few notes, and
then you can pray us out ofthis show man. The one song that

(58:42):
always always says with me is theno farm today man shame he will every

(59:04):
day. Just just it. Don'tThe rest of the song does what it
does, but for me, justthat little piece, just yeah, it's
beautiful. Yes it is. Yes, is because God will do what is
that what he says he will do, He will send by the word,

(59:25):
he will come through. Yes,and we can count on. Go ahead
and pray for me, Brother,Father God, I thank you right now
for bringing us all together, Lord, to be able to hear, to
be able to hear the testimonies.Lord, to be able to come together
and have the Bible study. Lord. Yes, to go forth and as

(59:47):
a unit, Lord, seek youas one body. I thank you right
now for allowing me to be ableto come here, Lord and share my
testimony. Like you said that youovercome by the blood of the Lamb and
the word of their testimony. Thatthat between that and the Bible. Lord,
that is our sword. That iswhat we fight with. That is
what we're free with. We setcapitals free with our testimony. Father God,
we heal the broken heart of ourtestimonies. Father God, all those

(01:00:12):
who are cut and stuck and andand bondish. Father God, we know
that the testimony is going to bethat free aspect that they need. Those
who are haven't even fallen into anything. Father God, our testimony is going
to be what keeps them out oftrouble, what keeps them away from temptation,
what gives them out of situation thatjust that that causes so much chaos

(01:00:32):
that can only be run by satan. I thank you so much for giving
me lyrics, Father God, someonewho could who could be an accountability partner
for me, someone who is inspiring, Father God, to go forth and
have this platform to be able toreach the masses, Father God, to
bring you, Lord, to bringyour love, your grace and your mercy

(01:00:52):
and your kindness, and in Jesussaying, I thank you so much,
and everyone who is watching, FatherGod, allow them to just get a
peace. Thank you Lord and Jesus. Amen. Amen. That is powerful.
