So we're coming from Joshua chapter fourteen, verse twelve. Remember I am
reading from the NIV version. Okay, so let's take a look at it.
Says, now, give me thisheell country that the Lord promised me
that day. You yourself heard thenthat the Anakites were there and their cities

(06:59):
were low charge and fortified. Butthe Lord helping me, I will drive
them out just as he said. All right, let's take a word of
prayer. Devenfall. We just thankyou Lord for another day that was not
promised to us. God, God, we thank you for another opportunity to
come together to take a look atyour word. God. We thank you
for the people that have joined inwith us tonight. Lord God, we

(07:20):
just asked that you would just letsomething be said God that would touch your
heart. God, that would causechange, God that would spark a fire.
God, God, that we wouldjust be on fire for you.
God, let something say be saidthat will help somebody. In the name
of Jesus God, we're praying thatyou would just have your way on tonight,
God, with our special guest Godand the testimony God, that you

(07:41):
would just let it be a blessingGod and let it be a help.
In the name of Jesus. We'repraying and asking all things in Jesus' name.
Amen. Amen. All right,So we're looking at this. This
is Caleb that's talking. And soCaleb was from the tribe of Judah.
So those of you that know overin Exodus, so when Moses got the
spies, Caleb was one of thetwelve spies that Moses sent uh into the

(08:07):
land of canon Canaan to uh intothe promised land to spy and to come
back and give report. And sowe know that when when when they came
back, Caleb and Joshua gave agood report. You know, they were
trusting in the Lord. They saidthat we could do this. You know,
with the Lord, we'll be ableto conquer this. We can take
this land. But the other tenspies they were they you know, they

(08:31):
spoke negatively about it. They didnot have any faith. They did not
believe that they will be able toconquer the people. And so they were
just naysayers. No, no,no. And so we know that because
of that God uh so, soMoses went. So God had made a
promise to Caleb to give him thisland. And so even though that was
during the exodus, Okay, soMoses declared that could that God would have

(09:00):
that lampfort for Caleb. But thepeople were mumbling and grumbling, and they
did not believe that God would givethem the land, that they would be
able to possess the land. Theyfelt like the land was full of giants.
One of the people even said thatthey were grasshoppers, looked like grasshoppers
in the eyes of those giants comparedto those giants. And so they were

(09:22):
just doubting. They were very doubtful, and so they didn't go forth.
And so God decreed that they wouldn'tget to enter into the promised land that
they would so they had to wanderin the wilderness. The Lord said they
would die in the wilderness. Andso Caleb and Joshua they were exempt from
that decree. When God said thatCaleb and Joshua were exempt, so God

(09:46):
said that nobody over twenty would beable to enter into the Promised land.
But because of Calebs in Joshua's faith, they were exempt from that. And
so then when we fast forward overhere to Joshua, now Joshua, I
mean to Uh to Yea and tothe Book of Joshua. Now Caleb is
declaring and asking for the promise thatGod has given him. And so even

(10:07):
though it's been it's been over fortyfive years for this promise, Caleb is
still waiting. He is still faithfulto God. Have you ever asked God
for anything? Is anybody on herewaiting for God to do something in their
life, something that God has promisedthem? If you are giving a thumbs
up, or you know, ifyou want if you want to say you

(10:28):
know, I'm waiting, type thatin, but give me something. If
you're waiting on God to do somethingin your life, if you know what
that means to have to wait onGod. I'm waiting on God right now.
And I'm just so blessed that youknow all, uh my, thank
you ain't married. Mary says she'swaiting, And it matters how we wait.
How many y'all know, it mattershow we wait, right and so

(10:50):
you know that Caleb waited faithfully onGod and we have to remain faithful no
matter how long it takes. Whenwhen God made that promise to ca Caleb
was forty years old and here weare forty something years later. Hey,
callum, thank you so much forjoining in. You say you're waiting,
were all waiting. Look how manypeople are waiting? Oh God, and

(11:13):
so Caleb. So here we areall these years later, and Caleb is
saying, Hey, God, youmade this promise to me. Hey,
Nika, thank you for tuning inthis. Don't y'all, y'all, don't
forget to share, share, Invitesomebody. Hey, Ronny, hey bro,
thank you for tuning in with meon tonight. Hey dd, hey

(11:33):
Sis, thank you all. Fortunityin all right, y'all coming on here.
I was wondering everybody was at y'allcoming on in here. Thank y'all
so much for tuning in. Sowe're talking about Caleb, but I know
he is also waiting on me.Oh that's powerful, right there, ain't
Mary, And he's waiting on alot of us. He is waiting on
a lot of us. And soas I was reading this, and I
was studying, Hey January, thankyou so much for tuning in. Is

(11:56):
this and I was looking at thisand I was saying, like, man,
think about the week before last wetalked about Abraham and how long Abraham
had to wait on his promise fromGod, and then after he received that
promise, he was tested even inthat and but he remained faithful and he
trusted. And so now here weare with another good example of someone who

(12:20):
had to wait on God and whohad to trust in God. And so
even then, even though he hadwaited for forty five years to go into
this promised land and to take thisland, and he said I want,
this is the land I want,it wasn't vacated, right, It wasn't
like he just walked into the land. It was still occupied by giants.

(12:41):
And so Caleb still had to demonstrateand display this act of faith, going
and declaring and knowing that hey,God is with me, and that's all
that matters. And so that isThat's what I want my listeners to take
away from this tonight, if youdon't take anything else away from what's being
said tonight, is that with God, all things are possible. When God

(13:03):
has promised you something, all youhave to do is hold on to it.
Don't let your faith waiver, right, don't be double minded, don't
go back and forth, but justwhole firm and be assured that God is
gonna do it no matter how longit takes. The reason God is letting
us see these examples is to encourageus to strengthen our faith. Because when
you know that the lady had towait twelve years years for her iss your

(13:26):
blood, and you know that thatCaleb had to wait forty five years,
and you know that Abraham and Sarahhave to wait. When you know that
this is God's pattern, then youcan rest assured that you know that you're
a month good company. Just likethey waited, I'm gonna wait on God.
Joe waited. Everybody that waited wasable to receive the reward of God.

(13:48):
And so it's important that we waiton God. Don't get discouraged,
don't get down, don't be defeatedbecause of what you can see right at
the age of eighty five. Canyou imagine Caleb going into this land at
the age of eighty five and lookingat these giants and having the audacity to
say that he gonna take this landeighty five? Right, He wasn't looking

(14:13):
at physicalities, his own strength. He was thinking of the strength of the
Lord. He says here in versetwelve, he says, but with the
Lord helping me, I will drivethem out, just as he said.
And that's what we have to remember. The Israelites for God, that right

(14:35):
God had done so many miraculous thingsduring that whole exodus, right for the
Israelites, they were able to seethe hand of God move in so many
miraculous ways, and yet they stillwere doubting, right, and then because
of that, because of that doubt, because of that rebellion, right,
there's danger in dowdy. Look, that's a worry right there. I gotta

(14:58):
preach there is dang you're in doubtingbecause because of that doubting, they were
not allowed to enter into the promise, and they were not allowed to obtain
the promise that God have have you, mama, thank you so much.
Be tuning in. I was waitingon you. Guess what I got to
say? Where my mama is?All right? So just because of the
doubting of the israel Lights, theLord allowed them not to obtain the promise.

(15:24):
So God was the respective person, right, We're not We're no different
from the israel Lights. Like God'snot gonna say, oh you doubting,
but i'ma still the same God backthen. It is the same God we
have right now. And so whatare you doubting God about that? You
that God has promised you, butyou're you're not believing wait and continue to

(15:45):
work faithfully. Faith without work isdead. But they that wait on the
Lord shall renew their street. Theyshall man up on wings as eagles.
They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.
That's right. Come on, ain'tMary? And that is right? And
so and we need to wait withjoy counted all joy. We talked about

(16:08):
that last week and the week before. You know, it's kind of been
a running theme talking about faith. That the faith that we have in Christ
and the joy that we have isour is our strength. Right. And
so we need to learn the lessonfrom these Bible stories that we read these
people in the Bible and apply itto our own our own lives, and

(16:29):
know that when God has promised ussomething, we could take that to the
bank no matter when. We canwait with expectancy, even though we don't
know when he's gonna move and howhe's gonna do it. We can wait
with expectancy, just like Caleb did. And then when that time comes,
we can hold God to what hesaid. Hey, he is a man
that he shall not lie. Hisword will not return to him for it.

(16:52):
When he says something, you canbelieve it. And so when God
has promised us something, it isimportant. It's vital that we do not
doubt doubt what the Lord has toldyou. Don't doubt what the Lord has
shown you. The danger in doubting, that's right, It is the danger
in doubt. And I like thatthere is danger in doubt. And yes,
that's right. And so we haveto remain faithful to God and He

(17:18):
will remain faithful to us. Andwe know that for sure. And so,
just like Abraham, just like Calebtrusted God, I am encouraging you
to trust God right in the midstof whatever it is. No matter what
it is. We all go throughtrials and tribulations, we go through ups

(17:40):
and downs. We have dreams thatseem impossible, right, we have things
that God has shown us, visionsthat seem unobtainable. But just like Caleb
said, with the Lord helping me, with the Lord helping you, you

(18:00):
can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. I like to play
a lot and I always say youcan do all things through YouTube, who
strengthens you, because you're go onYouTube and look at everything. But I'm
telling you YouTube ain't got nothing onJesus. You can do all things through
Christ, and so we just haveto believe. So stop this thinking,
thinking, stop doubting what God hastold you today. I want you to

(18:25):
stop today. Whatever it is,think about it. It's a wonderful thing
to sit and meditate and reflect.Think about the promises of God, think
about your relationship with God, thinkabout where you are with God. And
so as you're doing that, asyou're meditating and you're talking to God,
reflect on the promises. And thenthink about how have you been waiting on

(18:48):
God? Have you been waiting likeCaleb, faithfully doing the work of God,
not letting your faith waiver. Hey, Trisha, a good evening,
Thank you for tuning in. AndI know there's some people on here with
some big dreams, and I knowthere's some people on here that's going through
and suffering. Trust God's time, and sometimes we're not ready for what we're

(19:10):
asking for. Amen. I knowthere's some people on here that are waiting
on God, and it just itseems hopeless for all kinds of things that
I want to talk to each everyone of you. There's some people waiting
to accomplish a dream. There's somepeople waiting us to start a business.
There's some people waiting for God tobless them to have kids. There's some

(19:30):
people waiting for God to bless themto be married. There's some people waiting
for God to deliver them from asickness. There's all different types of things.
Hey, patri trail, blessing toyou, Thank you for tuning in.
There's all types of things that weare waiting on God for for for
healing and prosperity. And some peoplesome people waiting on God for Jesus to

(19:52):
return. Right, we waiting onGod. We waiting on Jesus. But
while we're waiting, how we waitis, how we weigh is important.
And God is calling us to befaithful. So we must remain faithful to
God, no matter what. Remainfaithful to God, no matter what,

(20:14):
no matter what the circumstances, nomatter what comes your way, no matter
if you're up, no matter ifyou're down, remain faithful to God.
Because there's gonna be some things that'sgetting ready to happen in this world that's
gonna be mind blowing, it's gonnabe life changing. The world is just
gonna change as we know it,and so we have to be rooted and
grounded in the word of God.We have to have that solid foundation,
and we have to know that withGod, nothing else matters, nothing else

(20:41):
matters. We don't have to worryabout tomorrow. Tomorrow is gonna worry about
itself. All we have to dois keep our hand in God's hand,
remember who he is, and nomatter no matter what the obstacle that's in
our path, we know that withthe health of Jesus and as long as

(21:02):
we trust in God, he willdeliver us and he will clear our path.
And we can say, Lord, give me this mountain, just like
Caleb said, and King James says, give me this mountain, and the
version of the nib says this hellcountry. We could be just like Caleb.
We say, hey, Lord, you promised me this, so give
this to me, and then havecomplete faith and trust in God to know

(21:26):
that with him, I'm moving forward. Right even though Caleb was in his
old age later in age eighty five, he moved forward with the help of
the Lord, and he had thatsame faith back when he was with Moses.
His faith never wait. But He'sstood before the people, and even
though those ten spires were saying no, no, no, we can't do

(21:49):
it, Caleb stood up and hesaid, yes, I believe we can
do it. And so I'm tellingyou today you can do it wherever it
is. If you're enduring, youcan endure. You can do it.
Whatever you believe in God, foryou can do it. He is not

(22:11):
a man that he should lie.And if he said it, that's what
he meant, all right. Andso I just want to encourage you all
on today to remain faithful, remainfaithful to God. Right this world we're
living in will try to make usbelieve all kinds of stuff. It is

(22:33):
amazing the things that are going onin the world today. I did not
see what you said, ain't married. I'm sorry, but you can do
it. That's right. There's alltypes of things that are going on in
the world today when you look atTV, just the agendas that are being
pushed, the things that the spiritsthat are just running rapid in the world

(22:56):
today. It is important that weget in this word, that we read
the Word, that we apply theWord to our lives, that we pray
and ask God to help us walkthis thing out. And with Christ we
can do it. He is ourstrength, He is our guide. Last
week we talked about him being thelight in our path, and so we

(23:19):
don't have to walk in the darkness. We will remain faithful while we're in
the waiting room. Amen. Amen, and keep putting your hand to the
plow right. Don't wait and youain't and you're not doing anything while you're
waiting. Be working. We haveto be working for the Lord. The
harvest plenty, the workers are few. We need you. This is a

(23:42):
good word. Thank you. Ain'tmarrying. We need to be working for
the Lord. I encouraging everybody onhere. I told y'all last week.
Listen, you know it's gonna beredundant. I'm gonna be saying those same
things because that's what's important. Onlywhat you do for Christ will last.
That's it. Nothing else. That'sthe thing that matters. When we leave
here, we're gonna leave everything behind. When you close your eyes and you

(24:06):
wake up before a judgment, beforethe Lord. You all, whatever you
had, whatever nice call, whatevernice home, whatever night's clothes, whatever
nice job, whatever friends, whateversibling, spouse, children, it doesn't
matter. You're gonna leave all ofthat stuff. So let's make sure that

(24:29):
we keep the important things important. And that's our relationship with Christ and our
lifestyle that we're living to be christLike. That's what's important, Striving to
live a life that's pleasing to theLord, because when we get before him,
we're gonna have to give an accountfor everything that we have said and
done while we were here in thisbody. And so let's make sure that

(24:55):
we are mindful of how we arewaiting. All right, I'm going to

You are doing good. I checkedout your show, and I believe that
you're helping a lot of people. You know. The scripture says that,
and they overcame him by the bloodof the Lamb and the word of their

(30:15):
testimony. And they love not theirlife to the death. So we overcome
the devil, our enemy, bythe blood of the Lamb and the word
of our testimonies. Yes, okay, jre Man, we see you.
Hope we get to hear you singa little something. Get you got some

(30:36):
of your that get it out, yeah, get it yeah, get it
at your throat, get it atyes, yeah, I think you think
you've been sing something further the end, little bit, give us a little
little tune. We'll see how theHoly Spirit leaders. Okay, listen,
you know that I'm about that.We don't see how the Holy spirit lead.
All right, so go ahead,we're gonna you know, we're gonna
share your testimony. So just however, you want to jump right on in

(30:59):
there and we'll go from that.Okay, we are going to talk about
addiction, Yes, all right,Yes, I want to let people know
that I'm not sure, quite surewhat the year is. All those years
was fuzzy, but you know,I had an addiction to cocaine, and

(31:22):
uh it was something that was veryuh just dehabilitating and very crippling, you
know for me progressing in life andmaking uh making advancements in the kingdom.
And uh, you know, Iwas in church. You know a lot

(31:44):
of people, you know, don'trealize how mean people struggle with addiction while
they're in the church. Addiction comesin many forms. People can be functional
addicts, you know. You know, I would struggle to pay my billiness,
but thank god I was able topay my bills. It wasn't that
strong. But addiction is a demon, you know. An addiction, like

(32:12):
I said, has many different forms. People can be addicted to you know,
marijuana. They could be addicted toalcohol. They can be addicted to
pornography. Uh, they can beaddicted to their children. They can be
addicted to material things, can beaddicted to religious things, ways of thinking,

(32:38):
you know, just just functioning outof religion and not being led by
the spirit of God, you know. So it comes in many different forms
and it comes in many different ways. So so what tell me what about
your experience? So you say youwere addicted to cocaine? So how did

(33:01):
you even like, I mean,I don't know how far you in depth?
You want to go back? Doyou want to tell us how did
you even get started into that?Or do you want to just go ahead
and talk about, you know, how bad it God and what led you
to deliverance? Wherever you want tostart it? Okay, So early on
in my marriage, you know,I had some problems in my marriage,

(33:22):
and you know, you have tobe careful of the company and the advice
that you keep. You know, people around you, I mean, broken
people can give you broken advice. They speak out of their brokenness and they
give you advice, and that's notgood. You know, you're right about

(33:44):
that. Yeah, absolutely, SoI had some we'll call them associates,
I won't you know, I won'tcall them friends. But I used to
hang around and we would you know, on the weekends, we would get
drunk intentionally, you know, wewould we would smoke, you know,

(34:05):
we would smoke weed, we woulddo cocaine and so but it didn't start
off that way. It just Icame over one day, you know,
I just got into an argument andI was feeling down, and you you
really you have to be careful. You know who you hang around when you're
heavy. You know, everybody theymean well, but they can only help

(34:29):
you with what they have. Andso, uh, they said, you
know, you did you want toyou want to try something. I'm like,
well, you know, yeah,I saw a few movies. You
know, I didn't think it wasthat bad, right, So you know
I did it, you know, one time, and you know, nothing
really happened or anything. And thenactually I didn't even get high, you

(34:54):
know, the high that they saythat you're supposed to feel. And then
you know, eventually going going overthere hanging out with them. They're comfortable
now with doing cocaine in front ofme. They did it behind the scenes,
but they never really did it infront of me. So, uh,
you know, one weekend one monthled to another month, and then

(35:15):
you know, a month led tothe weekends, and you know, then
it came to every other day andit's an expensive habit. And so I
was when I said, you itwas so funny, so crazy, Like

(35:40):
when I tell people that, youknow, I had an addiction that God
delivered me from the addiction. Theywere like, you you had an addiction
to cocaine, and I'm like, yeah, like you know, and it's
just like they say, like, you don't look like you had an addiction.
I thank God that I don't looklike what I've been through. But
it often makes me wonder, like, you know, do like you know,

(36:02):
cocaine addicts, cracked heads, dothey have like a certain look or
a certain code that they dress, code that they you don't have us up?
And I'm like anyway, But so, you know, I slowly developed
the habit. You know, thedevil is really tricky and cunning of how
he slips into your life. Soone day, you know, I can't

(36:32):
save any money, you know,my my, you know, sinuses are
just crazy. You know, I'mblowing my nose and there's there's I'm being
graphic, there's blood in the napkin, you know, and and you know,
just not being able to you know, focus, and you know,

(36:55):
you know, eventually your addiction willstart showing up in your in your life.
You people are finding things, youknow, bottles and you know,
containers that I keep it in.I'm like, you know what, I
need to quit? Yeah, SoI decided that, you know, hey,

(37:15):
I'm just gonna quit. And soI did good for about I would
say a month an addiction. Thatyou don't get rid of it that easy,
right. I remember I was cominghome from work and I had a
decision to make. I was ata four of a row. If I
go to the right, I'm goingto see my drug dealer. If I

(37:37):
go to the left, you know, going home to see my family.
We sad to say, you know, with tears in my eyes, I
turned to the right. I wantedto go see my drug dealer. And
right then, to know, Iknew that the hooks were in, you
know, the hooks of addiction. And you know, it was really a
sad and dark time because I wantedto quit. I wanted to give it

(37:59):
up, but I couldn't, youknow. And so and you know,
you can stop asking questions at anytime, you know, because I can,
I can go, you know,So you know, I'm praying.

(38:21):
You know, God, I needyour help because you know I want to
stop, but I can't stop.And you know, I pray, I'm
fasted, you know, and andnothing. I didn't get a breakthrough.
So this one last particular time, you know, I chose to to go
on a seven day fast, awater fast. H water for seven days,

(38:46):
nothing but water for seven days.I was serious. You know,
I needed God's help. And youknow, whenever you need breakthrough in your
life, you know that's how youcan gain God's attention. You know,
you can fast, you can pray. You know there's power and you're fasting
and you're praying. You know,it doesn't necessarily have to be for yourself,

(39:07):
it could be for someone else.So I was going to church,
you know, I was at thechurch that I grew up in. And
you know, it's hard when youhave kids to really participate in church when
you when you're you're the only onegoing to church. You know. I

(39:29):
had a three month old and Ihad a ten year old, so I
was taking them to church. Andif I didn't have help, you know,
I couldn't sing in the choir.I love singing in the choir,
so I got that phone call thatI wouldn't get any help in church,
and so, you know, Ijust really got upset, you know,
and and and was really just discouraged. And so I don't know where.

(39:54):
My sister calls me and said, hey, what you doing? And I
said, you know, man,you know, just sitting here. I
don't I don't think I'm going tochurch today, you know, yeah,
i't nobody to watch my kids really, you know, you don't, you
know, you being a mom ordad, you don't like throwing your kids
off from other people, right,And so she was like, why don't

(40:15):
you come to church with me?And I said, well, I mean
I might as well, you know, not mind you at this time,
I'm fasting and I'm praying for abreakthrough. I'm really serious, you know
about you know, got intervening andturning my life around, because I know
I wasn't living right. My momdidn't raise me that way, my dad

(40:37):
didn't raise me that way. Youknow, I don't, you know,
I I don't even think I maybe, you know, like tell her business,
but uh, you know, I'veseen like maybe my mom drink like
a beer, you know, ata wine cooler or something like that.
And that was just rarely. Youknow, you know this, you know

(40:57):
this was on me, and youknow, at a certain point, you
know, you can't. Some peoplecan't put things on their parents, you
know, and just you know, parents, if you have kids, you
know, just know that sometimes you'renot to blame. Kids make their own
paths, they make their own decisions, and they're gonna do what they're gonna
do. You know. All youcan do is pray for them, you
know. And so I'm going tochurch, and you know, I go

(41:23):
into the church and I'm looking atthis church. It's an old Catholic church,
like I guess they call them momsees or cathedrals or whatever. And
I'm like, what is this iswhere my sister got me going? And
you know, I go in andI see her and I take my sea

(41:47):
and there's this video playing of asermon that you know, the pastor wanted
the congregation here, and you know, people are speaking in tongues, and
I'm like, I'm from a Baptistbackground, you know, I'm like,
what do is go on? Arethey speaking in tongues? And you know,

(42:07):
I have my preconceived notions about tongues, and you know, I didn't
believe in it, and you know, I didn't believe in laying on the
other hands, and you know, just exercising the the the the gifts that
are in the Book of Acts, you know. And so I'm very critical

(42:28):
about everything that's going on. Andso the video ended and it was it
was a good message. And sothere was an alter call. And this
is quite different from the altar callthat I'm used to. The altar call
that I'm used to. As youknow, people hold hands around the altar,
and there's one guy from the pulpitpraying. But this guy, Bishop

(42:52):
Solomon Smith, he was up inthe pool pit. He brought his oil
out. He was slanging oil mansome people. He was praying. He
was praying in tongues, Jesus,Jesus, I have my baby in my

(43:12):
arms. And the Holy Spirit inme said you need to go up there,
you need to go up there. And I'm like, you know,
and then your carnal mine is like, I don't know. These people are
different, these people crazy, theyact, they talking in tongues and right

(43:36):
right, you know what is theawful folks both here greasy and I'm like,
I don't I'm not used to this. This is not how I'm expecting
God, you know, and sobut something in me he just told me
to go up there. So Igave my baby to my sister and I

(44:01):
went up to the altar. Iwas waiting in line. It was a
line, so I got to thefront, and you know, he said,
he asked me, you know whatbrings you to the altar? And
you know, I told him everything. Yeah, I didn't hold back because
I was desperate and I was hungryfor change, you know. And there's

(44:22):
something about you being desperate for change, but then knowing change you who has
the power to change you? Youknow. Over in Rome Is chapter six,
it says that you know, thepower of sin is broken, you
know, through the shed blood ofJesus Christ. And so the power of

(44:45):
sin had me through addiction. SoI let him know, you know,
hey, you know I have thisaddiction. You know I need help.
You know, I'm coming up herefor you know, for help. And
he said okay, and he walkedaway and started praying, and then he

(45:07):
came back. He said, areyou saved? And I said yes,
I'm saying I'm saying, you know, at least I thought it was so.
And then you know, he walkedback and prayed again. He said,
are you sure you saved? Andat this point I'm getting the finished,
like whoa. You know he hasme twice, you know, so

(45:30):
I'm like yes, yes, andyou know, he was like okay.
He was like, well, I'mgonna pray for you, and then he
asked for the church to praise.Like this young man is serious. He
needs a breakthrough in his life. And so he started praying and he laid
hands on me and put it.At that point, I don't even remember.

(45:55):
I don't remember. And so hesaid that, he said, say
thank you Jesus. I was like, thank you Jesus. He was like,
keep saying it. And when Ihit about that for thank you Jesus,
I went to my knees. Istarted crying and not it was I

(46:17):
had never like sometimes we have privatemoments where we praised and we worshiped God
and you know it's not really foranyone to see. But I couldn't help
it. You know, I wasjust crying and thanking God. And you
know, if I had I experienceda breakthrough it the altar, you know,

(46:39):
I experienced deliverance, you know, from those those demons that were oppressing
me. You know, you beinga Christian, you can't be possessed by
demons, but you can be oppressedby demons. Demons of anxiety, you
know, demons of fear, youknow, evens of overeating, you know.

(47:01):
And so I got up from thealtar and I knew it was done.
It was just something in me thatjust I knew it was done.
And you know, that was theday that I broke my fast. And
you know, I didn't realize whatGod had did for me until years later.

(47:30):
I, you know, was goingthrough some things, going through a
divorce, and I went to amental health counselor and you know, I
just shared with him, like, you had an addiction to coka, Like,
well, how did you how didyou you know, get that you're
still do on cocaine. I'm like, nah, it's like you haven't you
haven't gone back, And I'm likeno, you know, it seems like

(47:50):
most people relapse, and you know, they go through a through a twelve
step program, you know, toget free from that addiction. It's just
one time at an altar, youknow, and the encounter with God and
I was free from that addiction. She was like, Wow, she is
amazed. You know, however youget it. You know, deliverance can

(48:12):
come through a twelve step program. You know, deliverance can come from you
reading the word of God. Youknow, deliverance can come from you praying.
Deliverance can come from people praying foryou. You know. But however
you get it, deliverance is areal thing. And you know, there
are many people that need to befree that aren't free, you know.

(48:34):
And one of the things that Mosestold Pharaoh, he was like, let
my people go so they can befree to worship him and worship God in
the wilderness, you know, Anda lot of people aren't free to worship
God. Your worship is not playingmusic and you crying and you got your
hands up. Your worship is yourlifestyle. Are you living all? Are

(48:58):
you being all that you can come? Are you giving? Are you giving
up your time? Okay? Areyou giving of your mind, your body,
and your soul, your all, your strength. That's how you're supposed
to love God. If you're maybeto love God. If there's things in
the way, there are idols inyour life that need to be cast,

(49:19):
come and God will point them outto you. It's up to you to
take down those altars. It's upto you. But you know, to
tell a truth and not getting gracewith that's the truth. That's only telling
half the truth. There is graceso you can live out that truth.
You know. My grace came, you know, for me going to church

(49:44):
and being humble and being submissive toGod, you know, being desperate for
him and a man laying hands onme to break those chains. So that's
how my grace came. But yourgrace can come from different ways, you
know, you know we we weget grace by being humble. God resists

(50:06):
the proud mm hmm to the humble. Amen. Amen. That is powerful
freedom. Tiffany says, I needfreedom. I need Jesus. Amen.
All right, we're be praying foryou, sister. I already pray for
you today, but we're gonna bepraying for you. Yeah, if this

(50:29):
is your show, Keiler, butI have I believe God has given me
the anointing in that area to prayfor people and they become free from addiction
because I've been free for you know. I mark my freedom from that addiction
by the birth of my son.Paul was three months and he's he's coming

(50:51):
on. He's about to be eleven. I was eleven years ago. Set
me free, and man, fromthat point on, I've done so much
for God. I've done so much. I became a minister, I became
a deacon, I was in thechoir and praising worship leader independent music artists.

(51:17):
God opened so many doors for me. And if you know, I
just want to encourage your listeners,if you were just you know, declare
your freedom and get free. There'sso many doors that God wants to open
for you. You know, youraunt Marian was on here and then she
was saying that you know, youhave to wait on God, and like
the timing is important. Yeah, you know everything because you're not free yet.

(51:44):
Everything. Once you become free, whom the sun sets free, indeed,
God would just start opening up doorsfor you because he can trust you
more. Yea amen, Yeah, that's right. And and God God knows,
like like a Mary was saying,he knows that if you can't handle

(52:05):
something right now, you know,he doesn't want you to move into something
that you're gonna mess up or youknow that you're not ready for you're gonna
mishandle and so as he's grooming usas he's maturing us. He knows when
it's time for us to move intocertain things. I got a phone call
from someone today. It was so, it's such such an exciting news she
had, you know, and shesaid when she when I first hed the

(52:27):
phone, she said, you spokethis on me. And I was like
what. She was like, youspoke this on me three years ago.
And when she told me the news, it was so I was so excited,
you know, because it was whatI desired for her. I asked
her, you know, and atthat time three years ago, when I

(52:49):
spoke it on her, that isnot what she desired. But I can
see it. I could see it, and I said, oh, you
know, and I told her youknow, and she said, I said,
well, I'm gonna be praying thatGod moved and allowed that to happen.
And she was like, well,God to have to do it,
you know. And then here weare three years later, you know,
and she said, hey, andthat's what we were talking about it.

(53:12):
She was saying, is the samething. It was all about timing when
I said it three years ago.Even though I wanted it three years ago
to happen, this is the timethat it's best for it to happen.
And God knew that, you know, and so, uh, that's wonderful.
That's a wonderful testimony. I meanit's so powerful. What what advice
would you give to our listeners thatthat's struggling with some type of addiction and

(53:37):
like you named up a whole bunchof addictions, so it's far beyond just
a drug use or alcohol use,but just addiction to anything. What would
be your advice to them? Well, the first step in deliverance is honesty.
Mmm. You know God already knows, you know, He's just waiting

(53:59):
for you to be honest. Yeah, and to say that this is a
problem, yeah, and that thisis in a way between me and you.
Got Yeah, you know, behonest. You know you you know,
you know, and you know ifyou have the Holy Spirit, the
Holy Spirit will convict you, right. You know, it's up to us

(54:22):
to listen to the Holy Spirit. And then you know, once you're honest,
you know, seek help. Youknow help can come in different different
ways, but that honesty will makeyou humble. You know, there there's
help for the humble that if youpride, there's nothing anybody can do for

(54:45):
you. Oh, I'm I'm gonnaI'm gonna give it up. You know,
you know I got this right,I got this. You know that's
pride talking. Yeah, I canquit any time I want to. Why
happens you quit? Yeah, youknow, or you know a little you
know, it ain't gonna hurt nothing. Yeah, but it's hurting you.

(55:06):
You know, it's it's it's offensiveto God, you know. But get
help. You know. There arechurches that you know, specialize in deliverance,
you know, if you use discernment, but you can confess your sins
one to another, you know, and you can have that person pray for
you. Yeah. But there's somethingin the accountability partners that I mean even

(55:29):
in weight watches you know when Ijoined weight watches back in the day.
You know, having an accountability partner, you know, somebody that you can
trust, somebody that's not gonna tellyour business. Yeah, you know,
somebody that you can confide in topray with you through this thing and tell
you know, you see it tocompletion. Yeah, you know. So

(55:52):
that that's my advice. That wasgood. That's good. Well, are
you going to give us a coupleof notes? You don't have too because
we got about four minutes lefting,I'm gonna let your prayers out of here,
but if you want to get thepeople a little sample, Okay.
There is power in the name ofGeesus. There is power in the name

(56:22):
of Jesus. There is power inthe name of Geesus to break every chain,
break every chain, break every chain, to break every chain, break

(56:44):
every change, break every chain.A man, I hear the chains.
Fu. Yeah, come on,I hear a lot of clar All right,
well, thank you so much. There is power in the name of

(57:08):

is against you, Satan. Youwill not know. Weapon formed against them
shall prosper, and he tengue thatrises up against them shall be condemned.
If you don't work in the nameof Jesus, you're not have them.
They belong to God. In thename of Jesus, O God, we
