And I know that's why he's somad. Y'all type it in.
Ain't nobody mad but the devil,And he is really really mad at me
(02:51):
because he's been doing stuff all week. Try to bring me down, try
to take this smile off my face, try to steal my joy. But
the devil is a liar. Andlike my big brother, my little big
brother, Runny told me today. He said, Oh God, well,
God has it so for you mustbe real close because the devil is attacking
you so heavily and he's trying tohit you where it hurts. And so
(03:14):
listen. He he knows you gotto come for me hard, and so
I expect nothing less. And Iam still smiling. This smile is still

ahead and get into this word.Last week we're in the Books of Philippians,
and this week we're gonna continue. We're still in the Book of Philippians.
And so the title of my listenfor today is let it Go.
(05:53):
Anybody got something they need to letgo? And let it go. And
so we're gonna be coming from Philippiansthree and thirteen through fourteen. I'm gonna
go ahead and read so it says, brothers, I do not consider myself
yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do forgetting what
is behind and straining toward what isahead. I press on toward the goal
(06:17):
to win the prize for which Godhas called me. Heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Let's have a word of prayer.Let heaven Father. Lord, we
just thank you for another day thatwas a promise to us. God.
God, we thank you for allowingus to come on to this Bible study
tonight. God. Everybody that istuned in God, I just thank you
for them right now in the nameof Jesus. God, we thank you
(06:38):
for Jesus, for God allowing himto die for our sins so that we
may be a save God. God, you said that if you be lifted
up, you would draw all mento you. God, and so we
want to lift you up on tonight. God. God, please move through
me, speak through me as weread this word, as we talk about
it, we discuss. God,let something be heard. Let's something be
said that can be a help, that will be a blessing to the people.
(06:59):
God. Even with my special guessthat she come in God, God,
I asked that you would just letthe things that she has to say,
let it penetrate the hearts of thepeople. God, and touch someone
and that provoke change in them.God. God, we just thank you
for what you're doing in our lives. God, the good and the bad.
God. We know that all thingswork together for the good of those
who love you and a call accordingto your purpose. God, and so
we just love you and we thankyou, and we're just claiming the victory
(07:20):
right now in the name of Jesus. We know that the victory belongs to
you, God, and so wethank you for the victory right now with
the name of Jesus. Satan hasto let go. God, in the
name of Jesus. He has nobusiness here, he has no authority here.
And we bind the hands of theenemy right now in the name of
Jesus. Have your way, OhLord, on tonight. God, God,
(07:40):
we thank you for what you're gonnado and what you've already done in
Jesus name. Amen. Amen,All right, all right, if y'all
coming in, make sure y'all saysomething, Say Hey, how Brice,
how you doing. Oh, it'sso great to see you. Thank you
for tuning in, Thank you fortuning in. All right, So we're
looking at this script talking about forgettingwhat is behind. We've all done some
(08:03):
things in our lives that we wantto forget. A man, we've all
done some things that we are ashamedof or that we you know, we
just we don't want anybody to knowthat we did it, you know.
And so whether it be big orsmall, Hey, Mildred, thank you
for tuning in. So glad tosee you. Whether it be committing adultery,
(08:26):
there's some people who committed adultery. There's some people who are promiscuous or
committed fornication. Some people have beenstealing, robbing people, okay, whether
you're stealing from actual going into thestore or you know, some people know
how to scam and steal. Peopleare scamming people and setting up fake profiles.
(08:46):
I heard about the other day. They said that people are setting up
Hey ain't Lisa, thank you somuch for tuning in. There's a people
are setting up fake beauty beautician pagesand they're having people book up for hair
appointments and they're not even legit. And so people are just scamming people.
Whether you're dealing with some tips orhave dealt with or still dealing with addiction,
(09:11):
molestation is I mean, there's somany different things that we could have
done in our past that we areashamed of Romans. Back over in Romans
chapter three, it tells us thatall have sinned and fallen short of the
glory of God. You know,So there's none of us are perfect,
no one is without fault. Thatwe all have done something or we are
(09:33):
are some of us still doing thingsthat we we know that are against God
and that we are not proud of. But I just want to come and
be an encouragement because also over inRomans chapter eight, it says that they're
therefore there is now no condemnation uhand for those who are in Christ Jesus.
And so we know that we don'thave to live in a condemned life,
(09:56):
that we're condemned meaning to have aguilty conscious of guilty. We don't
have to walk around guilty or ashamedof what we've done. And a lot
of us are doing that. Alot of us are still holding on to
the past, where we're in thislimbo of the tension of who we used
to be and what we've done versuswho we're trying to be, who God
(10:16):
has called us to be. Andso we lived trapped in our minds holding
on to these things that we've donein the past, but I can't to
encourage you to let it go.That is the message. Y'all type it
in, say let it go.I need somebody to type that in and
say let it go, because wecannot freely move on and into what God
(10:37):
has called us and purposed us foruntil we let it go. It is
time to let it go. Somebodytype that in for me. Let it
go. Where my people at,where my people at? Y'all come on
in here, come on, allright, there we go. Thank you.
Ain't Lisa, let it go?All right, Mildred, let it
go. You have to let itgo. Let it go. And for
(11:01):
some of us not even yes, yes, yes, thank you God the
glass. I know. I haveto give you all time to type in,
and I'll be trying to move righton, keep moving along. I
gotta make sure just my wake time. But yes, God is saying let
it go forgetting those things which arebehind, which are in the past.
That's right, says let it go. Right, And even God, some
(11:24):
of us that might be on rightnow, there might be some things that
we need to let go that arein our present, not even in our
past. Right, there may besomebody on here that God has been dealing
with you about letting things go.What are you holding on to that God
has caused you to let go of? Right, We have to be sensitive
(11:46):
to the spirit because if God iscalling you out of something and you're still
you're trying to hold on to it, God is calling you out of it
for you're good. You know,I know, I remember you guys know
my story or you know some ofus got a hold testimonies. But when
I was living in a life ofhomosexuality, and I was holding on to
(12:07):
that thing strong, and even thoughI was having the lip service of telling
God, deliver me, deliver me, Please, God, deliver me,
really, in my heart I washolding strong and I didn't want to let
it go. It was my fleshlydesire, and I wanted to please my
flesh, and so I wasn't willingto let go and receive what God had
for me. But I thank Godfor my praying mama, and I thank
(12:31):
God he already knew the plans thatHe had for me. And I thank
God for my willingness, my willingmind to surrender. Right, God is
not going to force us to doanything right, He's not going to strong
arm you and make you do anythingyou have free will. So you have
to come to him freely and willingly, all right, And so when God
is calling you to let those thingsgo, like so, even the things
(12:52):
that I just mentioned, the fourthings that I mentioned about stealing, scam
for unicading, adultry, any ofthose things. If you're involved in those
things right now, I want toencourage you to let it go. The
sooner you let it go, thesooner God can move in your life,
the sooner you can start to walkin the purpose that God has for you
(13:16):
for your life. Because God hasa purpose for you. Right over in
Jeremiah twenty nine to eleven, He'stold us, for I know the plans
that I have for you. Sohe's not just he's no respective person.
He's not just talking about lyrics. He's not talking about kiki h. I
know the place. He's saying,oh all of us, for I know
the plans I have for you.And so it is up to us to
willingly walk in what God has forus, to willingly let go of the
(13:41):
things that he's calling us to letgo of. If you have an addiction,
right start praying. I told youguys that some time ago when we're
talking about dealing with walking in deliveranceand asking God to take those things from
you one day at a time, one step at a time. If you
fall, you get back up andyou keep on walking. Right, nobody's
(14:01):
perfect, well, says a righteousman falls seven times and it gets back
up. If you fall, don'tlet the enemy get you trapped in your
mind and stay in that position. No, get back up, Ask for
repent, ask for forgiveness, andturn keep on walking in the Lord.
Right. There may be some relationshipsor some friendships that God is saying for
(14:22):
you to let go, and wehave to be sensitive to the spirit.
It's for your good. Right. If you're in that relationship with that God,
you just feel like, oh,I gotta have him. But you
know that you're you're shacking, you'reliving in it, and you're not married,
you're fornicating. Right, we knowthat those things are against God.
So if God is calling, andyou know when God telling you to let
something go, it's in your spirit. Right. Even even though I was
(14:45):
living that lifestyle and for several yearsit was in my spirit, God was
telling me let it go, letit go, And even though I kept
holding on to it. My spiritman was it was saying, let it
go right. And so you know, if there's something inside of you that's
saying let that go. You smokingcigarettes, that's detrimental to your health,
it's going to kill you, okay. And so God, if God is
(15:07):
tugging on your heart and he's saying, let that go, whatever bad habits,
let it go right, we haveto do that. And so because
our hope is in Christ. Right, we said, there's no condemnation for
those who are in Christ Jesus. And so because we have hope in Christ,
he is the one that's gonna giveus the strength to be able to
let those things go. And wecannot look Once we let it go,
(15:30):
we don't have to look back andtry to pick it back up or see
what it's doing. Right. Weknow what happened to Lot's wife when she
looked back, right, God toldhim not to look back. She looked
back and turned to a pillar ofsalt. And so God is saying,
let it go and don't look back, and we will be able to become
with all that God has created usto become. Even in the secular world.
(15:56):
One of our favorite artists, Usha, what Usha said y'all know what
he said. He said, everythingin your past, you gotta let it
go. Now, been that doneit. Okay, I'm not gonna sing
that on here, but y'all don'ttalking about y'all know what she said,
let it go. Everything in yourpast, you gotta let it go.
And stop holding on carrying all thatbaggage with you weighing you down. Ericabadu
(16:22):
said, bag lady, you gonnahurt your back carrying all those bags like
that, all right, so let'sput down those that baggage. Let's stop
dwelling on our past. Timpith dthank you for tuning in, cousin,
so glad to see you out therein Florida. I'm gonna be in Florida.
We have two tour stops in Florida. We're gonna be in Tampa,
(16:48):
and we're gonna be in I believefor Lada deal. I'm not sure,
but I know we're gonna be inTampa. I'm gonna take out exactly where
we're gonna be in in Florida, and I'm gonna let you know tell me
again where you I think you're inWest Palm Beach, Is that right,
Timothy? I don't know how farthat is from the Tampa area, but
we will be there with a rejoicedconcert tool. We will be in Florida,
(17:11):
and so I sure would love tobe able to see you and whatever
family I have in Tampa and Orlando. That's where we're gonna be. I
don't know why, for I don'tknow how to say for log deal,
so I'm trying to say that anyway, But in Tampa and Orlando is where
we will be in Florida. Soif I don't know how close you are
to that, but I would loveOh yes, I thought you were in
(17:33):
West pom Beach. How far isthat from Tampa or Orlando? Are you
close to any of any one ofthose places? If so, pick up,
pack up the family, and y'allcome on and see your cousin and
uh and and all of the othervessels that God is gonna use on this
wonderful tool. We would love tohave you. I would love to see
you and get some pictures with you. But as we so, we need
(17:53):
to stop dwelling in the past, right instead, we need to pursue Christ
look forward. It says over here, it says that I do one,
I do one thing forgetting what isbehind and straining toward what is ahead.
I press on toward the goal towin the prize. You know. The
(18:15):
body tells us to run the raceis to win the prize, right,
And the Bible says, you know, when you look at this world,
you know, especially as a youngsingle lady, a young single woman that
I am, and it's like everybody'sdoing everything and everything's acceptable, and sometimes
it'll make it'll try to sway youand make you know it. Start look
at appetizer. The devil put itout there, make it look good,
(18:37):
you know, he packaged it upreal good, especially for those you know
the same those are us of usthat are a little bit more mature.
He can't come with us the sameway he used to come at us,
and so he packages that thing differently, and it can be enticing to us.
Right, But we have to makesure that we are concentrating on growing
(18:57):
in Christ, growing in our knowledgeof God and in our relationship with Him.
That is what is important. Andyou hear me say that week after
week, I say something about relationshipwith Christ, because that's what's important.
I don't judge anybody for where theyare in Christ, because I know my
own story. I know that whenI was a freshman in college and I
(19:21):
was hosting a Bible study in mydorm in the common area, you know,
and one girl called me out.I had been doing that Bible study
for about two months and a girlcalled me out and she said, how
you're going to do a Bible studyand you gay? You know, and
it just broke my heart and ithurt me, and I stopped. I
stopped doing that Bible study, youknow, because there was a conviction on
(19:45):
my heart, you know. Andeven though it still took me years to
leave out of that lifestyle, Iknew where I was in my relationship with
Christ, and I knew that Ineeded to grow and I needed to be
delivered before I started teaching the Wordof God, you know. And so
you have to be real with yourself. You have to evaluate where are you
in Christ, and it's your relationshipwith Christ. No matter where you are,
(20:07):
if you're still breathing, you're notat the finish line. You're still
living. You have not reached yourfinish line. And so it's important that
you talk to God, get toknow God for yourself, read the Word
of God. Right I appreciate everybodythat comes on here every Tuesday and spend
this time with me. I loveyou, and that's why I'm doing it,
because I want to talk with myfriends and my loved ones about Jesus
(20:30):
Christ and getting this word. AndI know that there are some people who
won't open this Bible and this mightbe the only Bible stud that they get
throughout the week. And so Ijust bless God for the opportunity to be
able to come and go before thenation right here from the house and be
able to proclaim the word of God. But for you, you need to
It's important for you to read itfor yourself. Right. It is life
(20:52):
and death. It is so importantfor you to study this word of God,
and so especially my young people. You know, I thank God for
the relationship that he has given methe ability to form relationships with young people
my ministry, even though it isfor everybody. But there is a special
gift. Hey, DeLisi, Ithank you for tuning in. SI's so
(21:15):
great to see you. But Godhas given me a special gift. I
need to desire the sense your milkof the word. That's right, that's
right, the milk of the word. And then as we continue to read
that word, study that word, and grow in that word, then we
can get on that meat right. And we know what it's like to go
from milk to meat. You know, you're not babies, so are those
of you who are parents. Youknow how it was different when your kids
(21:38):
when they was on their stimulac orbreast milk, you know, and eating
baby food after the you know, the little mashed up peas and carries and
stuff this in the jar ononce sayget out there, and they start eating
meat, eating real food. Mygod daughter Kennedy, she only had two
teeth and she was tearing up hamburgers. Right. It's a difference when you
get on the meat right. Andso but we have to start, and
(22:00):
we have to start the milk ofthe word, reading the word. Like
I told you before, there's manydifferent avenues you can go. If you
have heard time understanding, you canwatch YouTube videos that will teach you about
the word. They have animated videosthat will help you if you like animated
things. They have real life depictionsstories that they act out things like that.
(22:21):
But we have to know this word. It is our tool. Whether
people call it, they say BI, B O E our basic instruction
before leaving earth, before going hometo our heavenly father. Right. And
so you know, a manual isimportant. When you get things, you
need to know how they operate. And so in this life we need to
know how to operate. You know, you don't go get an Apple watch
(22:44):
and you know, electronics and thingslike that. Even cars. You know,
when we have our cars, wehave to look at the manual for
certain things because we don't know howto operate it. And so in this
manual that God has given us,we have to look into in it and
when we're creating in life to getwisdom on how to handle different situations,
to have insight, to know whatGod has said, to know his president
(23:08):
and what what his standard is,what his requirements are of us. We
have to know that to build ourfaith, to help us walk in obedience
and that and and and it's astruggle, but the Bible will strengthen.
You. Listen when I tell y'all, the enemy has been attacking me this
(23:30):
week, and I mean at theheart, the issues of the heart.
Right, you know, when hewhen things go wrong and it's like you
know, it might stress you out, you know, or you know it
might make you have to pay alot of money, you got to fix
something something like that. Those thingsit's like, oh, you know,
it's like an attack. But youknow, but when he starts attacking your
(23:51):
heart, your relationships, that that'sa hard thing sometimes to swallow. But
when you when you read that word, it's strength in you. Right,
That's why I've drawn my strength. You know, I was talking to my
sister about it today. You know, I got in my feelings and I
was feeling feeling my feelings, andas I was reading my word, and
(24:11):
I was preparing for to come onhere, and and that word was just
penetrating in my soul and in myspirit. And forget those things which all
passed. Yeah, they hurt you. People gonna hurt you. People gonna
do things that you don't expect themto do, because ain't nobody. Don't
nobody love you like God love you. You might think people love you like
(24:32):
God loves you, but he'll showyou that He loves you unconditionally. And
so we just have to count itall joy, even when things are against
us, even when the enemy isattacking us, trying to attack our minds,
trying to attack our bodies, tryingto attack our spirit, our hearts.
(24:52):
The Bible is where we can drawstrength. And so if we're not
getting in that word to strengthen us, to strengthen our faith, to strengthen
our knowledge of God, praying andasking God to help us through those things
are important and He will help youto what forget those things that which are
behind. Right, if you're strugglingwith forgiving someone and letting go of the
(25:15):
hurt and the pain, Hey Shay, hey cousin, thank you for tuning
in so glad to see you.If you're dealing with the hurt and the
pain that God, you ask Godto take that away from you, ask
him to help you to move onso that you can press toward what He
has before you. Because I promiseyou what God has before you is way
(25:37):
better than whatever's behind. And I'velearned that throughout the years, holding on
to things that I thought I wanted, that my flesh wanted, those fleshly
desires, holding onto those things,I discovered when I let those things go,
it's like, man, why didn'tI do that ten years ago?
Right? And even when people tryto hold your past against you, you
(26:00):
know you don't have to be trappedin that. You tell me, Hey,
God delivered me from that. That'sthat's who I was. It's not
who I am. I am pressingtoward the mark, right, And so
that's what I wanted to come onand encourage people today because it even encouraged
me because I was holding on tothat hurt that I experienced this week.
I've been holding on to it.But today, as I was preparing,
(26:22):
God said, let it go.You about to go out here and tell
all these people to let it go, but you holding on to that,
You hold on to that pain,You're holding on to that hurt. Let
it go. And so that ismy encouraging word to you all. Is
whatever it is, even if it'syour past that you're holding on, to
leave it in the past, leaveit those things that are behind. If
(26:45):
it's something that God is calling youto let go of that you're still dealing
with right now, be obedient toChrist and let it go. It's only
gonna benefit you, right, It'sonly gonna be for your good. And
so draw the strength from God andlet it go. If you don't know,
if there's some things in your lifethat you need to let go,
get in that word and read andthat word will start to convict your heart.
(27:07):
It'll start to prune you. Godstart showing you things that he wants
you to let go. And Godis so good, you know what,
awesome, awesome, doctor givings.I'm so glad. I'm so glad that
that's the goal. It just ifit could help one person, If it
could help one person, and ithelped me, so that means it helped
at least two people tonight. BecauseI needed that for myself. I needed
(27:30):
to tell to understand, let itgo, let it go, whatever it
is, Let it go and rejoiceknowing that God has your back and He
works all things together for the good. So no matter what it is,
those people that think they wronged you, they think they hurt you, they
think they got the one up onyou, they didn't. So let it
(27:52):
go. Amen, and whatever itis, no matter whatever it is,
God got you. Let's grow inChrist. Let's get in this word,
let's study the word. Let's cometogether as a body of Christ and lift
one another up, lift up thename of Jesus, because we know everybody
knows that you can see the timesthat we're living in. You know,
(28:15):
ever since I was a little girl. They were like, we're living in
the last and evil days, livingin the last and evil days. I've
been hearing that, my grandmother saythat all the time, and you've been
hearing that. But I know onething. I don't know when the last
in evil days are, but Iknow that were closer to the last than
it was when I was a littlekid. We did. We close to
the last now and the world's alot more evil than it was back then.
(28:40):
Hey, Chastity, thanks between endcousins. So glad to see you.
But we know that the state ofthe world is worse than it than
it was. We living in someterrible times. People are doing terrible things,
you know. And I know there'snothing new on the sun. I
know that people have been doing terriblethings. But if we just took take
a look around, what does theword say that they will become wiser and
(29:02):
weaker? And that's exactly what youcan see. You can't tell season from
season, that's exactly what you cansee. Rewards and rumors of wars,
that's exactly what you can see.War rising up out of the Middle East,
all these things that have already beenrevealed to us. Those things are
(29:22):
coming the past, and so weknow that the end may not come for
however much longer have that Jesus delays. But I guarantee you you and I
were a lot closer than we were, okay, and we might not even
live to see Jesus come back.So if you go out tomorrow and it's
a car accident, what are youready to? Are you ready to see
(29:45):
Jesus? And if not, Iwant to encourage you to get ready right
repent of those things that you've doneand turn from those ways. Ask God
to strengthen you, and he willgetting your word. It's your will,
you have free will. You haveto do it. You have to do
(30:06):
the work. You have to readthe word of God. He's gonna hold
you accountable, okay, And sohow you live this life, you will
be held accountable for it. Andso I just want to encourage all my
loved ones, everybody tuned in,whether you watch it and the replay,
get in the world of God,increase your prayer life, and work on
your relationship with Christ. No otherrelationship is as important as your relationship with
(30:30):
the Lord. And so let's strengthenthat and be ready for those fiery darts.
Put on the whole armor of God. Put your helm and on,
put your shield on, put yourbreastplate on, put your built on,
put your shoes on. You needall of it. You got to have
that sword. You need all ofit. And I've been learning that even
(30:53):
for myself this week and my testand my trials, like we my world,
my shoes of peace, because I'vebeen ready to fight. All right,

thank you so much for having me. It's so nice to meet you.
Virtually, we'll meet each other atthe concert. I actually be at the
Dallas the Dallas show, So I'myes, yes, I likewise, you
(34:50):
know, we have a mutual friend, my sister Delici Us she's on and
so she connected us, and soI already knew when when listen, everybody
know Dalisi when the least you're recommendedhim. But it's like, oh,
yes, I know this is goingto be powerful because she's connected to powerful
vessels. And so I'm just soexcited about tonight. Yes me too.
(35:12):
God is so good. Yes heis, Yes he is. And so
I was so excited when I sawthat you go to Oakcliffe Bible Fellowship,
because that's doctor Tony right Evan.I used to Okay, I watched a
lot of his stuff on YouTube, and so I was like, and I've
actually read a couple of his booksas well, and so I saw that
I was like oh yeah, Iknow, and she got some deliveries at
(35:35):
that church. So go ahead andshare your story, jump right in and
share with the people what you wouldlike for us to know. Yeah,
so I actually I did used togo to Oak Cliff back in twenty fourteen.
Actually that's actually where I got saved. That it was at Oakcliff I
when I first went there. Butmy story actually starts when I was young.
When I was little, I actuallygrew up in church. I grew
(35:59):
up Baptists, I grew up backso all I knew was going to church
on Sundays and singing in the choir. I can sing, and so I
come from a musically inclined family, and so everybody in my family can either
sing or we can play an instrumentor one of the two. And so
yeah, Delia can sing as well. I can say everybody everybody can sing,
(36:22):
sing, but everybody my family cansay no, I got hold of
toone sing background or so low thatyou can't hear me. But I'm a
rapper. But my whole family cansing or play instruments, like well most
of them singing and play instruments. But yeah, just like that, it's
like you wow, I'm sure.I'm sure you probably can hold hold a
(36:45):
little no the song. You probablycan hold a little song. Okay,
yeah, Jack, I can.Yeah. So I grew up in church,
like I said, but when Iwas a little actually had an anger
problem. I actually had a Ihad. I had a spirit of anger
on me, and I used tofight like it was nothing. I wasn't
(37:08):
even I even remember fighting like aguy. In my fourth grade class,
I remember fighting a boy and soI was just so aggressive, so angry,
and I actually had to go toanger management. So I went to
a yup and like I want tosay about seventh grade, I went to
anger management, and I remember fromthat fight it was it was a girl
(37:30):
that actually she she actually told onme because the teacher asked, didn't was
anybody talking? And she wrote myname down, which which she should ask?
Because I was talking me having ananger problem. I got upset and
so I actually looked at Alicia. So I actually approached her after class and
(37:51):
I asked her why did she writemy name down? She just kind of
like, you know, did likeone of those and all I remember is
like I blacked out. So Ihad a spirit of anger on me in
the spirit of rage. So Iblacked out and I just started like fighting
her, and I beat her sobad that I actually ended up bust I
bust her a ear drum. Ohwow, yeah, it was. It
(38:12):
was. It was aggressive, andso I actually like they called the police
and everything, and I was actuallysupposed to get a felony, but they
said they were only going to giveme a misdemeanor. And so yeah,
I know, even at a youngage, even with me acting out,
you know, demonic spears just havingtheir way, the Lord still covered me.
And I remember that. When Iwent to high school, I actually,
(38:35):
you know, I kinda I kindof calmed down because I started to
want to be you know, moremore like a lady be seen by by
boys and so like I didn't wantthat that aggressive side to come out.
So when I got to to highschool, I actually ended up wanting to
be a part of this group, this this women's group that were it was
like it was a girls. Theywere very pretty and it was a step
(38:59):
team, and so they were verypretty, they were very popular, and
they were just like the it girlsat the school. And I remember,
I remember, so I remember likethey had like you know, status and
cloud and so at that at thatpoint, I was trying to find my
identity. And so what I waswas just the status people with the status,
(39:22):
people that were cute that you know, had boys that liked them and
the whole because they the step teamwas actually really really good and so it
was it was actually Arlington, andso it was like the whole DFW knew
about like our high school step team. Yeah it was, it was it
was Martin. It was called highschool. Okay, so everybody like knew
(39:47):
about Martin was you know, stepteam was really good, and so I
wanted to be a part of somethingthat was very elite m and so I
remember like I tried to try outfor but I didn't know how to step,
so that wouldn't good mixed. SoI tried out for the step team.
(40:08):
Of course I did not make it, and I embarrassed myself. I
did not know how to step fornothing, but I knew I just wanted
to be on the team and Iwas gonna do whatever it took. And
so I did not make the stepteam. I even even the judges because
it was like a whole like likethe step team was like like a sport.
It was like at my school. So they had judges tryouts all of
(40:30):
that, and so I remember thatthe judges even were laughing at me during
my audition. I know they were. They snicker at me cause I was
really trying hard too, but Iwas, oh, like, she trying,
but she ain't gonna make it.So I didn't make the team.
I didn't make the team. Butthe thing about me that the Lord has
(40:51):
instilled in me, he's instilled likedetermination. So if there's something that I
want, like, I'm gonna dowhatever it takes to get it. Okay.
So when I didn't make the team, I actually signed up to be
like the manager. So I signedup to be like the person that like
plays the music and it's just kindof you know, running behind the step
team. I didn't care if Iwas playing the music, running behind them
(41:13):
sitting, as long as I waswalking around with them. They don't know,
give it, don't know. That'sright, that's right. I'm the
queen of manager. I've been tomanager high school, in college. Come
yeah, So that's why I was. I was the manager. So that
was like my sophomore year, Iwas the manager. And so as I
was the manager, I was behindthe scenes, like learning the steps.
(41:37):
So it was kind of it wasa strategic move because I was like,
I'm gonna just hang out with themand I'm gonna learn the steps. I'm
gonna learn how to step and allof that. And so that's why I
was like studying them while I wasthe manager. And so that next year
I walked into tryouts like, oh, what's up cause I know how to
step now, right, Ain't aboutto laughing now cause I know. And
(42:02):
I made the team. I goton the team, and so it was
it was awesome that, you know, my determination, I got, you
know, what I set out for. I didn't allow rejection, you know,
to make me, you know, feel bad and be like, you
know, maybe this is not forme. It was like, no,
this is for me. And soI got what I set out for.
(42:23):
But the thing about it is Idid not know what this was going to
open the door to because one thingabout me is growing up, I wasn't
church, but I wasn't in Christ, so I didn't have Yeah, it's
it's a it's a huge difference.So I was going to church on Sundays,
but I didn't have the holy ghosts. I didn't you know, I
(42:45):
was not living according to the word. I was not trying to live according
to the word. And so whenI joined the step team, and I
realized that one of the advisors shewas an aka. So I didn't know
anything about Greek life. So I'mjoining, you know, and she's an
a Ka. So the step teamis doing all a Ka stuff and so
(43:06):
we're mimicking what they're doing, andso I don't know anything about what I
just opened myself up to. Andso that was like the introduction to me
wanting to be to be Greek, because all I know is the lady that's
over us, you know, she'sAKA. We're doing mirrors, we're doing
Ivy's, you know, we're strutting. We actually have a mini process.
(43:27):
The step team had a mini process, so we have to pledge to be
on the steps. Okay, wehad like a little mini pledge process,
right, But I don't got nodecide, don't how to holy go,
so I don't have discernment. SoI'm just doing whatever it takes because this
is this is the pretty girls andthe popular girls, and you know,
(43:47):
the step team that's the best inthe in the city. So if I
got a pledge, if I gottajust we're all black for you know,
a certain certain amount of time,if I got to move as one for
a certain amount of time, ifI to try to we gotta we was
exercising together and like the whole thewhole step team had to make a mile
within a certain timeframe, and ifif one person didn't make it, we
(44:08):
all didn't make it. So we'reall like, you know, pulling each
other across the line, like girl, you gotta make it, you gotta
make it. So we're like bondingand moving as one, and so we're
all like we're getting trained to topledge in college pretty much. That's what
that opened the door to. Andit also opened the door to like elitism,
because when I'm I'm on the stepteam, you know, we're the
(44:30):
best in the in the city. You know, we're all pretty you know,
we have this money. The schoolI went to, we actually had,
you know, we were we werewe were kind of wealthy, and
so we had money. And sowe're looking at the other step teams like
they crazy, like they raggedy, like they don't know what they're doing,
like they don't know who they are, you know what I mean? Like
(44:50):
we're just kind of like, whoare y'all like all this like elitism,
this like mean girls, this stuckup type attitude from being on you know,
being on the on the step team. And so when I went to
college, the first thing I wantedto do was become Greek aka aki.
Well yeah, akay. That itopened the door for me. As she
(45:10):
was doing that training. She wastraining just how you described the step team.
You know that all the pretty girlsand all, you know, the
elitest status. She was booming youall for when you go in to make
sure that, you you know,go to to her. Yeah. Now
whether she whether she knew it ornot, I can't say that she like
(45:34):
intentionally knew it, but it wasthe fact that her presence was there,
that spirit was there, So thatspirit was doing the training without even because
she wasn't even like she was there. But it wasn't like she was like,
y'all gotta be on it, Likeshe was just kind of around,
you know. But the spirit madeus like lust after that organization, and
so we went to college. That'swhat we all wanted to be. We
(45:57):
wanted to be akas. And sowhen I got to school, I actually
went to the University of Houston, and when I went to You of Age,
I went to like a yard showand I remember seeing all the different
Greeks, you know, performing andeverything. And so the Akas went first,
and I remember seeing them and Iwas like, they don't really looked
the way I thought they was gonnalook. It's not giving pretty girls,
(46:23):
so shocking that U evasion. Theywouldn't look the way you thought they were
gonna look. I mean they werein between lines. So that's when you
in between lines, you got thebody line, you know, bringing in
get just you know, it wasjust I got you, but you got
(46:45):
to keep it holy. But yeah, So the Deltas went on after the
Akas and I and they had justhad a line. So when the Deltas
came on stage, I was like, oh, who is this? Uh
uh so I want to a Delta. Yeah. They were like who I
thought the Aka should be. Like, they were pretty, you know,
(47:07):
they were about their business. Theywas like at the time we call it
crump. They were turned up,you know, come in in the stage
and just like I was like,oh, like I think I want to
do this. Uh. So that'swhen I switched from being I want to
be a ka all in high schoolto being like, well, I want
to be Adelta because I don't wantto be them cads. I want to
(47:28):
be like Adelta. So it waspretty much it was literally like a lust
of the eyes. It was likewhoever had the most status, whoever looked
the best, whoever presented themselves thebest, I was gonna do it.
It could have even been Zada. The Zadas was in there. I don't
know about the sex, but hey, Zada's run the campus and look at
Lamar Universe to do that. I'mokay, what what university at to Lamar
(47:52):
to be to a step show? And I was like, hey, never
seen on Zada's likes on where youare you are? Yeah yeah yeah.
So in that time it was itwas Adelta's and so that's what I wanted
to be. So that's that's whatThat's what started my journey of like trying
to join the organization. And soI remember when I first got there though,
(48:15):
that was there was this girl thathad went to my high school and
she she went to our college aswell. She was older than us,
so she set us all down andshe was pretty much putting us on games.
She was like, listen, ifyou want to be Greek number one,
you gotta be discreet. So don'tgo around telling everybody what you want
to be. Don't be don't bein their face, don't be going to
their table, don't be being thirsty. You gotta play it cool. So
(48:37):
she was just like laying it out. She was like this, this,
the kaas this, when they hada line, these are all their lines.
Here's the Delta lines like and soshe was like letting us know this
this person from the Delta line becareful with her. Like. So she
was just like she had all thetea. So she was pretty much just
like you know, like like settingus up, pretty much setting us up
(48:59):
so we won't be looking thirsty andall of this. And so from her
like, you know, putting uson game. That's when we started to
like be discreet and just go tothe events and not tell anybody, you
know. And so one of thethings that she said, she said,
if they messed with you, theywant you. But if they're not messing
with you, then they not lookingat you. And so I remember I
(49:19):
was going to the Dose events andone night I got like a call and
they were like bring me like somepizza, and I was like, oh,
it's all they want me. SoI was getting I got excited to
be Hayes because I knew that thatmeant that they were looking at me to
be on the line. And Iwas right. I was right. I
made I made the line. Imade the line about I want to say
(49:40):
about two years after I got toyou, of Ah, I made line
to be a delta, and thatwhole determination like I was talking about in
high school, it was still inme in college when I was pledging,
like I was willing to do whateverit takes to get what I wanted.
So if that I meant pledging,if that meant being beat, if that
(50:01):
meant you know, eating crazy stuff, drinking crazy stuff, If that meant
being sleep deprived, not sleeping allnight, if that meant sleeping in my
car, falling asleep at a redlight, you know what I mean,
Like when my legitimately falling asleep ata red light with my foot on the
brakes, and I woke up andlike all of these cars were like turned
around me, trying to go aroundme because I was at the real I
(50:24):
was at the the light had turnedgreen and I was sleep and so it
was. It was only by thegrace of God that my foot stayed on
the break, because had it gotoff the break while I was sleep,
I would have drove into oncoming traffic, and I don't know what would have
happened to me. But even afterthat, I'm still on line because I'm
like, I'm gonna whatever it takes. I'm to finish. I determined to.
(50:46):
Yeah, I'm determined to finish this. And I end up crossing.
And when I tell you, like, my whole life just it just went
up. At the time, itwould be like it went upside down,
like in a good way, butit really wasn't a sinful way. It
just opened up the door to allkind of demonic activities. But at the
(51:09):
time, it seemed like it wasjust good college fund, just Greek fund,
just going to all these Greek partiesand you know, Daytony's Greek Men
and you know, having all thisfun. But in God's eyes that was
not gone to him. The moneyrealms that you didn't even realize. And
I'm so glad you're sharing this tonightbecause these are important things that our youth
(51:31):
need to hear that before they goin and counter these things because I have
some kids that are in high schoolthat tune in to my show because I'm
big on the youth, and soI'm just so glad that you're sharing this
knowledge so that they are have openeyes to what because the enemy is cunning.
M So go ahead, I'm sorry, Yeah, no, he is
(51:51):
cunning, and he appeals. Heappeals to the luster of the eyes.
Because on the outside, it lookedlike, you know, we're this with're
this this top, you know, this sisterhood, this community service, like
we're doing all of this, youknow, and it looks glamorous. We're
like the largest black you know, largest Black sororities. It's Delta, and
(52:12):
so we're you know, we haveall these titles and you see Deltas everywhere
and all of this, But youdon't really understand what they have to do
to get to where they are.You don't understand what's going on behind the
scenes. You really don't understand whatthey just open a blood line up to
because of what they did to bea Delta. You really don't understand them
initiation rituals that they have to gothrough. That's why it's a secret society.
(52:34):
Everything is secretive, but we're ina day and age to where all
of those rituals now are public,so you can actually go read the ritual
books that we have to go through, and so we praise God for that,
because at that time that was notpublic information. So I didn't know
what I was going to have todo until I got into that room and
we had to bow down on ourknees in front of this delta aufser and
say that we pledge our life toDelta sigma theta. You shouldn't pledge your
(52:57):
life to nobody else but God,Jesus Christ. But I was not in
Jesus at that time, so ofcourse I'm not thinking about that. And
you have people before me that havedid this. So I'm not thinking like,
oh, I just gave my lifeto the devil. I just gave
my life to the enemy. I'mnot thinking that because I don't know no
by no, no no enemy,no devil with no Satan. I'm not.
I'm not I'm on his side becauseI'm still in darkness. I hadn't
(53:19):
gave my life to Jesus at thattime. But when you look at it
through God's eyes, he he knowsthat you just you just came into covenant
with the organization. And so peopleare experiencing a lot of there's a lot
of divorce, they're experiencing a lotof sickness. There's a lot of things
that they're experiencing. And whether theyexperience it or their children will experience it,
but somebody in their bloodline is gonnaget hit by it. Come on,
(53:44):
teach here. And so when youstart talking about denouncing those organizations that
you've, like you said, pledgedyou, you know, people get offended,
they get upset. Not my sorority, not my fraternity, you know,
but this is oh good, youhelping somebody, go asss You helping
somebody. Yeah, so I Imean if you say not my sorority,
(54:08):
not my organization, are you sayingor is God saying it? You gotta
look at it through through God's eyes. It don't matter what you think,
It don't matter your experience, Itdon't matter what you can remember, because
at the end of the day,a lot of us don't even remember what
we did in that room. Idon't remember none of my former licenses remember
when I was talking to them aboutit. At One of the tricks of
(54:30):
the enemy is is he is heif he tries to get people like amnesia,
where we legitimately don't remember what wedid to get into the organization.
We don't remember, And then it'sa spirit of deception on people because a
lot of people remember they underground process. They remember getting beat, they remember
being hayes, they remember having toto take wood, they remember all of
(54:52):
that. But in their mind that'snot bad. But in God's eyes,
you getting beat for organization, whileGod be okay for that. Jesus took
all of that on the cross forus. He took all the beatings for
us. So why would the Lordbe okay with us being beat for another
God? Let's make it make sense. That don't make sense because Jesus already
(55:13):
took it. He already took allthe punishment for us. We don't have
to give beat, we don't haveto get chastised, we don't have to
get humiliated for our faith. Sowhy is it that God would be okay
for us to go through that forour sorority or fraternity. It don't make
sense, right, It don't makesense at all. And so when people
get offended by people speaking out aboutdenouncing, it's because they have not consociate
(55:36):
with the Holy ghost and the longerit goes to bring revelation to what they
actually did in the rooms, becauseif you sit down with the Lord,
he's gonna reveal that thing. Insteadof being offended, take a step back
and see if there's something that you'remissing. Amen. Amen, And then
and make sure that your priorities areright, because like you said, it's
what God thinks. It's not aboutwhat your sisters think, your brother,
(56:00):
This thing is about what God thinks, like what my scripture said forgetting those
things? What your behind right?Yeah, okay, we did it,
let's denounce. Let's get it rightwith the Lord. But like you said,
that takes having the end dwelling ofthe holy ghosts. Go ahead,
Yeah, no, it really,it really does. It takes, and
it takes taking time, like justtaking time getting out of the conversation,
(56:24):
like because there's there's this whole likeanti denouncers conversation, like we're doing the
most where you know where it's notthat serious. God, it's your convictions,
not my conviction. Get out ofthat conversation, shut all that noise
down, and get at the feetof Jesus and he gonna tell you the
real. You gonna tell you thereal. Get all that noise out of
your ear, because that ain't nobodybut the enemy trying to keep you bound.
(56:45):
Okay, seek the Lord so youcan be free. Oh, the
Lord, so you can be free. That's all that is. Don't allow
Greek Shenanigans to send you to hell, because that's exactly what it's doing.
It's sending people to hell. Don'tallow your form a list, or your
current Lincistans, or your line brothers, your profights, your nils to send
you to hell. Get out ofthat and seek the Lord for yourself.
(57:08):
Yes, if you're serious about yourwalk with Jesus, you gonna want to
know if you're in any sin. That's right, Doctor Givens says, My
priority is Jesus Christ. Delta isdown the line for me. Thank you
for your insight. Hashtag save Deltapeople. People got free will, people
(57:30):
got free will. The Lord ain'tgonna make you choose him. You choose
Delta, you choose God, youchoose. That's what he told me when
I was having to denounce. Hesaid, it's either me or Delta.
It can't be both, and soI have to choose God because it can't
be both. It's two gods.You can't. You can't. You can't.
You can't serve two masters. Chooseone of the other for me.
(57:51):
Yeah, won't have no other Godbefore me. And when it says that's
the first commandment, there should beno other God before me. When it
says before, it's not talking aboutPride already, it's talking about in his
miss we shouldn't be around any undergod period. Minerva is at the top
of the Delta shield. So whoeverthat is, ma'am Delta Minerva is your
(58:12):
god. If that's what you wantto be, go ahead and be in
covenant with Minerva. But don't sayyou in covenant with Jesus, because it
can't be both. It's either orMinerva or Jesus. You gotta choose.
And the Lord has given everybody achoice. He ain't gonna force nobody to
want to be sold out for him. It says free will. He gives
everybody a choice to repent. Andat the end of the life, we
(58:34):
gotta stand before God and answer whydid we choose Minerva over him? We
got to answer for that. Wow. Wow, that's powerful. That's powerful.
And you know, like you said, That's also something I was just
talking about in my lesson free will. God's not gonna force us to do
anything, but he will put itin your spirit for what he is calling
(58:58):
us to do. Right. Therewas a long time where I felt like,
especially when like you said, whenpeople are pouring into you and you're
surrounding yourself with DECs, there wasa long time in my life where I
felt like God created me and heknew I was gonna be gay, and
he knew. I was like, this is who I am, and you
know, and I was accepting thatbecause I felt like God know me and
he loved me, and you know. But it was my free will and
(59:19):
I had to willingly let that lifestylego. I had to let it go
in order to walk in that deliverance. And I lost a lot of friends,
and I had a lot of peopleturning back on mad, a lot
of people mad, and all yousaying I'm going to hell because you gay.
I'm not saying you're going nothing that'sbetween you and the Lord. My
walk is my walk. But thetruth is still going to be the truth
at the end of the day, whether we want to receive truth or not.
(59:42):
It's not gonna change whether it istruth. So if we're living in
a homosexual lifestyle, continue that andwe leave this earth when we stand before
God, we'll have to give accountfor that. That is the truth.
And so it's the truth. Andso people can get mad when you say,
hey, if you don't. Hisway is narrow. It's a narrow
(01:00:02):
way. You know, there's awide road that people are traveling, but
the way of Christ is a narrowroad. And that it's narrow for a
reason because few people are gonna makeup their minds to be sold out for
Christ. And that's it. Likeyou said, people say, don't take
all of that when you're radical forChrist. They don't want you doing all
(01:00:23):
that. You're doing too much. No, it's a narrow road over here.
What we're doing too much. Yeah, And the Lord calls us to
be radical for him, to beloud and prid for him, in the
same way we was loud and proudfor these organizations. We got to be
loud and proved for Jesus when wedenounce, when we come out, when
we pronounce, we got to beloud and proud. And like you said,
(01:00:46):
the Lord gives us free will henot gonna force you. He's not
gonna force you to come out ofhomosexuality, and he's not gonna force you
to come out of idolatry, becausethat's what it is. Everybody that is
in these organizations, they are allin idolatry. Mhm. The moment you
bow them and you and you takethose vowels, you take those oaths,
(01:01:06):
you agree to come into that covenantbecause you don't a lot of people don't
understand that's what they're doing. Butonce you agree to come into that organization,
you are in idolatry. Every singlebody, nobody is exempt. If
you are a delta off of akaz or whatever it is, you are
in idolatry. And when you standbefore the Lord, you're gonna have to
answer for why you are in idolatrywhen his word says, don't be in
(01:01:28):
it, When his word says thoseare in idolatry, will not inherit the
Kingdom of God. The Lord gonnapull out his book and it's gonna he
gonna read it right there, andhe gonna be fair, and just when
he when he gives the people theirsentence, he gonna be fair with it.
It's the Scripture. It is andit's not an our conviction thing people's
people say is your conviction. Sinis not a personal conviction. Order God
(01:01:52):
is the word of God. Yeah, that's just what it is. Amen,
Amen, I agree. Listen, this has been so powerful, but
I know you did not go ona tangent. This has been powerful and
the truth must go forward. Andlike you said, you're a servant of
(01:02:15):
God, a messenger of God,and so you're gonna be held accountable for
the message. You cannot water itdown, you cannot sugar coat it,
you can't make it pretty and tiedwith a boat. You have to give
that unadulterated word of God. Like, come on, word that word,
(01:02:37):
get in that word. And atthe end of the day, just because
of personal relationship with Christ, Iknow that whatever you're in, God will
deal with you. He won't letyou rest. He's gonna be he gonna
pull you out. But you gottabe willing. If you're willing, you
gotta say Lord, I choose Christ. And don't be stubborn and holding on
(01:02:58):
to what you want to hold onbecause that flesh is stufporn. It's gonna
hold, but you have to giveit to God and let him prune you
and change you from the inside out. And he'll do it. He's pruning.
I've grown so much every time hestarted changing and working on my heart
and cutting things away from me.And you think you okay, okay,
then he showed me something else. All right, now we got that good.
(01:03:21):
That is the next area. Let'sget it together. And it just
it's never ended. It's like youknow, you think you're like okay,
and then something else, he showyou something else because he's continuing to grow
us, because that's what he's calledus until the day of completion. Right,
yes, sactification. It is aprocess. Is a process. It
(01:03:42):
is a process, and he's lovingand he's gentle, and he ain't gonna
force you to do nothing that you'renot willing to do. So and then,
and how good God is is thateverybody that needs to hear this message,
everybody in those sororities and fraternities. He allowed you to speak and so
you don't have an excuse, youdon't have an excuse. He's allowed you
(01:04:04):
to hear the truth. And whetheryou reject it or you receive it,
it's going to be up to you. But God has allowed the truth to
go forth and your own for areason, right, So he that has
an ear, let him here withthe spirit of the Lord to say,
amen, listen, I have enjoyedyou so much. We went over four
(01:04:28):
