Speaker 1 (00:01):
Dude, Hello, and welcome back to my podcast. So I
decided that this week I was going to post three episodes,
(00:23):
and the reason for that is because I think it'd
be fun to post a July fourth themed one on
July fourth, and also the last two weeks, I've only
posted once per week, which is embarrassing. Sorry about that
maybe anyway, So today's going to be the quickest episode ever.
I don't even know if we'll hit five minutes. Then again,
(00:45):
I do like to yap, so there's that it's possible
that maybe I hit five minutes because I'll yap too long. Anyway,
I just wanted to tell you a quick story. So
the other day my roommate asked if I knew what
was going on with the dryer, and I was like,
(01:06):
oh shoot. So we went over and typically with the dryer,
you have to push the little lint to catch her
down and then shut the dryer door and it will shut.
But when we did that, it didn't shut. I was like,
what the frick is happening? Like this normally shuts. So
I took the dryer the lint catcher all the way
(01:27):
out and thought, okay, is the dryer I'm gonna shut now,
and it still wouldn't shut. And I realized that the
latch that holds on to the little I don't know
a thing whatever, I don't know the names of these
things was broken, and I was like, oh no, So
we got a screwdriver. I had a screwdriver, and I
took the inner door of the dryer off, so the
(01:49):
door was still on the dryer, but I took the
inner door of the dryer off. We kind of finagled
with it, messed with it, looked something up on YouTube,
couldn't really figure it out. And then finally, after I
said a tiny little prayer my heart, I realized that
I just needed to pop the thing back in that
I had popped out of place. So I popped it
into place and fixed the door, but screwed everything back
(02:12):
on and shut it and it closed, and I was
so happy. So I just wanted to tell you that
prayer is a magnificent, wonderful thing, and God cares all
about the little things in our lives, like a dryer.
We didn't even have to bother the landlord. Is that awesome.
(02:32):
And I felt so independent and so amazing. So I'm
so grateful for that I hope that you are having
a fantastic week and are thinking about all of the
ways that God has blessed you through prayer, and I
encourage you to ponder and think about the way that
His hand has been in your life and when you
(02:54):
prayed to Him, what blessings and things he gives you.
And I know that He is there and present in
our lives and wants to bless us. And I say
these things in the name of that I said, Jesus
Christ him in. Look, I didn't even hit five minutes. Hah,
I did it. It's a really quick story. Anyway, Thanks
(03:14):
so much for listening. I'll have a much better episode
out in two days aka tomorrow. Because I didn't post
this yesterday like I was supposed to. I already recorded it.
In fact, I recorded it in a very weird order.
I recorded that one, which will be titled The Healing
Power of the Temple, and then I recorded Monday's which
you already heard if you listen to it, the Author
(03:35):
of Peace or the Authors of Peace. And now I'm
recording this one. So technically I recorded three episodes today. Guys.
That's pretty awesome. Run them plaus for me, Okay, Anyway,
until next time, thanks so much for listening. Don't forget
to embrace imperfection by meaning satisfaction and joy from the journey.
