these outcomes so far? And thuswe still have one more game remaining between
the Devils and Rangers. But man, this has been a really interesting playoff
series. All right. I knowwe want to talk about like the Leaves
versus Florida series, like in particularbecause we are a defense. But man,
who would have expected the Florida Panthersto beat the Boston Bruins. I

believe reading it was a forty threepoint difference in the standings, and man,
oh man, it was a prettyentertaining series. Oh yeah, one
hundred. Boston was the best teamin an NHL history statistically this regular season
with sixty five wins. Yeah,and the Florida Panthers were a borderline playoff

team like second wildcard spot like thisis just absolutely incredible, but they were
able to accomplish especial she being downthree one in the series, it just
kind of showed how relentless that groupis. Yeah, dude, Florida came
back with three straight wins. Man, And you know the player, I

limited playoffs success and experience. Lastyear. The twenty twenty two postseason was
his first taste of playoff action everand it's two games he had above a
four point four point goes against average. And this season, this postseason,

he was so disappointing for the Bruinsto blow nine hundred safe percentage yow below

want to say the turning point forhim had to have been that job battle
between an even potential fight that wasgoing to happen between him and Matthew could

really messed with his mentals swimming thoughhe did come in for that one game
he looked really solid. Then again, it's unfortunate to see. But again,
I don't like Boston no offense.I mean, you look at the

it's funny to believe like a worldwhere Boston gets a limited in the first
round with and leaves moving on tothe second round. Man like it has
happened quite some time. Yeah,I agree. I think Chuck was definitely
a big turning point in that series, especially getting in all Mark's head.
Yeah right, he saw he justsnapped, and you saw when that Game
seven where he ran into swiming.It was just a complete opposite reaction.

It was very cool and composed,and I did think the Bruins were gonna
win that that believe it was montorgoal. Yeah, the last minute or

we're both Leaf fans, so wegot to talk about this. Man,
do you think Leaves are gonna winthe series? Before we go to that,

I just want to recap the LeavesTampa series a little bit all over
the place. I just want tobreak down that series. Who's your MVP,
Who's the best player on Tampa thatseries? Who was the most disappointing
player? Who did you expect morefrom? So from the Leaves, I'm
gonna say the most like um likeseries MVP for that After from that team,

I definitely gotta go Morgan Rally here. Yeah you YouTube, Okay,

Tampa? And then oh, Yeah, for sure. I think Riley he
definitely led by example that series.Huge goals, a key moments, or
the overtime winner in that game forthe tying goal to force it to overtime

time. In six games that series, he had three goals and eight points,
and he was averaging twenty five minutesof ice per game, which is
just absolutely incredible. He led byexample, and you saw he was definitely
someone who put his body on theline like that entire series, jumping in
front of every single shot. Seventeenblocks that post that series, the second

hashest on the Leaves. The onlyperson higher than him is TJ. Brody
with twenty. But I think youdefinitely got to give a big on pre
mentions to awesome Matthews, a seriestwo who stepped up big when the Leaves
need him. He had the twogoal performance in game three, then that
big goal in game five and six, and you know, five goals a
series and nine points. So theseguys were huge factors for the Leafs advantage.

I definitely agree here Man, andyou know, going to Tampa now,
I feel like their best player hadto have been Victor Hedman. Man,
this guy is a guy I feltthat he gave everything with every shift
he had, and he was steadydefensively. He had probably one of the
most underrated seasons I've ever seen,not really getting an attention for it,
but nonetheless he was still able toproduce offensively as well. Insane man.

Without this team or without him onthis team, I'm Tampa would have been
shut down. Three assists for threepoints in five games, and obviously one
game he missed. Toronto really tookadvantage. But it's good to see and
I'm gonna be really interested to seehow he's gonna be playing this next season.
No, yeah, very well saidlike he extreally under the season.

You really haven't heard too much ofhim because you have so much big defenseman
this year putting up unreal numbers.But he's a guy who went very under
the radar with a point per gameseason. Yeah, nine forty assists.
Yeah, he was unreal. Line. You know with siRNA, the line
obviously McDonald gone. He obviously yougot to step up even bigger than before.

And the playing through an injury,and you saw, like you mentioned
that first game, that second gamewhen he was out the least put up
a seven on them. Yeah,crazy man. But I also, yeah,
I just got to give a hugendable mention to Corey Perry, who
in the ice time he played,he had a huge impact, especially early
on in the series, two biggoals, always getting under underneath the leaf

skin and always being in front ofSamson Off. Yeah even that Sarelli lan,
I felt like that was really likea good um line matchup against the
Matthews Ligne. Yes, you evenhad they had their they had the Astrelli,
head Gland and Kloreine. I think, yeah, maybe I'm wrong,
but six six points, three goals, three assists against that, like against

that top pair, absolutely insane.But anyway, what's the next type of
player you wanted to go over theseries? I actually want to us who
do you believe it's the most disappointingplayer of this series on either Team tenor
Jano by far? Oh my gosh. You see what they gave up for
him. He did not come toplay at all three games played minus two

five penny minutes, and that wasthat one fight where him and Chan he
got some good shots, thirteen minutesof ice time, not really anything to
chauffeur. He got replaced by um. Okay, I'm gonna really butcher this
guy's name, Esmiot. I thinkI think that's how you say. Obviously
he got taken out in Game onewith that McCabe hit, but ever since

coming back he ended up scoring agoal, almost scored on the breakaway in
Game six overtime to force the Gameseven, but overall much more impactful and
tenant. You know, just reallywas not there for this team at all.
Well, if I'm not mistaken,I believe he was. Did you
get taken the lineup? I knowyou was taken out, but I believe
he was also dealing with an injury. Yeah, that injury related, but

like, for me, how muchof it is really injury related if he's
playing the two games after that fight, I mean less he like tweaked something
in between practice that you won't know, but well he did have He also
got up in mind, he didhave that injury prior to the postseason,
that's true, took him out afew weeks. But no, I do

agree he was extremely disappointed. Andyeah, what they gave up for him?
What the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, Yeah,
gave up all the picks. It'syour for him, But again, that's
what kind of Tampa does though theyoverpay for guys, you know, like
look what they did back in twentytwenty when they overpaid for both Barclay grudrou
Yeah, Blake Coleman. But againthat they work out right, so it's

hard to question. Even look atBrandon Hegel. I believe they gave up
two first shoun picks for him andhe's been an unreal player for them.
But yeah, you know that,you know, it didn't really work out
the way the same way Grudroa did. Granted the team is a little bit
different. But the most disappointed playerfor me, I gotta give it to
Andrew Vasilevski. Other than Game five, you expected a law more out of

him. No, I see yourplan, man. He was sorry real
quickly. Vassilevski, Man, hewas. He's been the foundation of his
team for so long, man,and it's fortunate to see how it progressed
as a series went on. Ibelieve you had a safe percentage under nine
hundred, and it's really disappointing tosay the least, Yeah goes against of

over three point five and safe percentageof Ryander nine hundred eight seventy five.
Yeah, and Samsonov he definitely allplayed in this entire series, other than
the exception that game five mm hmm, man oh man. Really tough to

The Toronto may Be Leiefs and Jteam Willy Kneelander. Willy knee Lander
had seven points. John Tavarius hadseven points as well. But I just
don't I didn't feel like this wasenough. Obviously that's more than a point
per game, but dude, withthe amount of stuff that was happening,

I just felt like they did notshow their offensive capabilities were not there.
John Tavarius obviously had that hattery gusthree out of the four goals he had
in the second game. Same withniel Lander. I believe both his goals
came in the first and second gameand just nothing much after that, and
I just need you need more.And the death players came to play for
Toronto, which is good to see, but you need your core and hopefully
they come back in the second round. Yeah, very well said. And

let's actually transition to that second roundmatchup now, John may Police first,
the Florida Panthers, and yeah,we're goldn't recap a couple of the more
a couple of the other second roundmatchups, but again, we're both Leaf
fans. This is the one thatcatches are the most. Yeah, so
you want to jump right into itand break this down for us. Okay,
So how should I set this off? Because we have this team,

the Florida Panthers, who just beatthe Boston Bruins, who I know they're
feeling hot. Okay, there's acouple things I want to talk about when
it comes to Florida Panthers. Yeah, Matthew Chuck here five goals leading a
team and that eleven points. BrandonMontur absolute beauty on defense man. He
was another big asset to this teamand another reason why they made it as

far as they did. Carter bHaigy ended up scoring um the ok winner
to send Florida to the second round, and Alexander Barkov you know what I'm
actually I'm not also include Sam Benand The's and this. I feel like
these are your five players that reallyset the tone and really gave an understanding
of what it's going to be likeplaying against them. And we see this,

especially when like how they took outBoston. So how should I How
should I start this material? BecauseI'm trying to think because at the end
of the day, this can bean insane matchup no matter how they play
each other out, and it's gonnabe a physical and long grinding series.
Yeah. And if I'm being honest, as much as I don't want to

I agree. And before I givemy prediction, I just want to
say something very quickly. At thebeginning of the twenty one twenty two season,
these two teams had the longest activeplayoff series win drought, having not
seen second rounds since nineteen ninety sixfor the Florida Panthers in Toronto twenty twenty

four. Now they're finally going toface each other and So this regular season,
Charla May Believes and Florida Panthers haveplayed faced each other four times,
Leaves coming on top three of thosetimes, but three out of four of
those games have both been forced haveall been forced to ot. So this

is going to be interesting one forsure. I do believe without a doubt,
Florida is the preferred matchup over theBoston Bruins, especially since even if
the Leaves are playing the Bruins,you know, you have at the back
of their head. They beat themthe last they beat them two years back
in twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen,Right, Yeah, have that to back
their head. They've had their number, right. But the thing is,
what's scary about Florida right now?Obviously you know the exception of them taking

out Boston, you know what you'regonna get from Kachuck. He's gonna be
a Matthews and Miner's face the entireseries. I'm gonna give him a second.
Yeah, And like you mentioned,those other guys with Benn and mont
tour Blad, they've been phenomenal.M But we haven't seen the best of
the Barkoff yet. You haven't seenthe best of Barkoff Overga. In my
opinion, I still see a lotmore of all of those guys. Barkoff

only one goal that series. Youhave not got Gout in the best of
him yet. And Sergey Robrowski isstarting to feel it. Those last two
games. She was phenomenal. Right, that's what I'm saying. I feel
that this team is gonna be ableto like really surprise a lot of people,
just like how they surprised the BostonBruins here. And this is why
I feel like it's gonna be alengthy series. It's gonna be a long,

grinding, like really an over lovingatmosphere. And by the way,
I just want to throw this allhere. I don't know why or who
came up with this, but Floridarestricting tickets to only being bought in America
has got to be like the mostdouche bag and dumbest thing I've ever Yeah,

really yeah, So if you havean American residence, you can buy
it, buy a ticket, Butif you have a Canadian residence and you're
looking to buy it, it's notgonna happen. Well, that's horrible,

the best sell Marner and Willie thatseries. Marner was obviously very good,

there's times he had some defensive lapsesand there was times where situations where even
look at that breakaway in Game five, where that's something he typically would bury.
Again, I don't think we gotthe best of both those guys,
So I think it's gonna be avery long series. Like you mentioned,
I think he goes to distance.Yeah, both teams are. I like

the matchup though for the Leaves.I think the Leaves match it up against
them very nicely. I think youcould argue they have the slight edge in
defense. Just the way Montur hasbeen performing this series, this pass in
this entire season. And you can'tforget about Eckblad, who obviously had to
miss that game and how much ofa loss that was. But when he
came back, he sounded. Hewas really defensively sound. Yeah, so

if I had to make it aprediction, I would agree with you,
and I'm going with to trum maythe leaves in six games. Okay,
I think all myself vantage the seriesis going to be huge as much as
I think so too, But lookat look at the leafs this um what's

taking this and I believe six games. I didn't expect to go to seven,
but I wasn't surprised at all.This team is young and relentless,
and their decourse probably one of thebest in this entire postseason. Dude,

let me tell you something right now. I had the Devils taking in seven
games. But man, no,man, every time I see Chris Carter
play, he's changing the narrative.Like I am so shocked by like how
well he's performing in this postseason.I believe he just tied a record for
like the most points, sorry,the most goals in an elimination game.

Sorry, has he Yeah? Yeah, it's either like like a franchise record
or like all time but see soyeah so, because there was a lot
of good names on that list.Man. But anyway, like moving on
here, like the Devils are goingto have a home ice advantage. They're
gonna have the crowd and that obviouslythat does play into effect. But the
most important thing of having a homemisadvantage is you get last change, which

I really think they're gonna use totheir benefit. I'm really going to be
curious to see who they're going tostart in goal as well as obviously they

think Jack Hughes is gonna come outstrong man. Hmm. What about Yola

You know, Tampa actually not Tampa, the Rangers taking the first two,
New jersually taking the next three.Then the most recent game, Game six,
the Devils, the Rangers taking it, tying the series up. I
think it's gonna be very interesting forsure. And Cryer he's been a huge
X factor six goals this postseason.How you said you have that record,

I think this could really go eitherway. No, I agree,

going going down without a fight.I just feel like it's going to go
to the distance. But I feellike whatever team moves on here is gonna
beat Carolina, especially due to theinjuries, as I think it's sexuality and

the Seattle Cracking versus Dallas Stars SalaCracking with a huge upset over the Colorado
Avalanche, the defending Stanley Cup championsin their first playoff appears. I gotta,
I gotta yeah, really crazy matchup. Who would have expected the Seattle
Cracking to beat the Colorado Avalanche.Like you mentioned the defending Stanley Cup champions,

and man, they played a hellof hockey. Did you see the
celebration but I think it was grubauRonette. After that, I said that
playing his former team felt very nice. Oh my gosh. But again,
my respect is earned for the SeattleCracking like I did not expect them to.
I'll play the Avalanche here and itreally goes to show anything is possible.

But obviously, with all this beingsaid, they're gonna have to play
the Dallas Stars, who had aphenomenal matchup against the Minnesota Wild and winning
in six games, and ultimately theywon due to their offense but also due
to their defense. And Jacob Hungerare like a statement maker in this series
and I expect him to continue thistrend. Yeah sorry, thought I really

butchered anyway, So I'm gonna takethe Dallas Stars in seven games over the
Seattle Seattle Cracking. Well, Ijust want to say, yet, with
Colorado this kind of just proves howhard it is to be to be a
modern dynasty. I want to say, yeah, my belief hopefully one upcoming
upcoming Colorado. Obviously last year theywere so dominant the entire playoff run,

and you know this this series thisyear, they lost you know, some
key pieces. They lost their secondline center in the Nazam Cajury, right,
Yeah, and then they had Alexnew Hook triv feel that void,
and you had Gabriel land Scoff outwith injury the entire season. Obviously,
also during the off season you hada new goalie and you have come and
Kemper out. Yeah. And thenyou also had Valuing the Truchkin dealing with

someone who put his body on theline like that entire series, jumping in

mentions to awesome Matthews, a seriestwo who stepped up big when the Leaves

series and nine points. So theseguys were huge factors for the Leafs advantage.

I definitely agree here Man, andyou know, going to Tampa now,
I feel like their best player hadto have been Victor Hedman. Man,
this guy is a guy I feltthat he gave everything with every shift
he had, and he was steadydefensively. He had probably one of the
most underrated seasons I've ever seen,not really getting an attention for it,
but nonetheless he was still able toproduce offensively as well. Insane man.

Without this team or without him onthis team, I'm Tampa would have been
shut down. Three assists for threepoints in five games, and obviously one
game he missed. Toronto really tookadvantage. But it's good to see and
I'm gonna be really interested to seehow he's gonna be playing this next season.

this year putting up unreal numbers.But he's a guy who went very under

I felt like that was really likea good um line matchup against the
Matthews Ligne. Yes, you evenhad they had their they had the Astrelli,
head Gland and Kloreine. I think, yeah, maybe I'm wrong,
but six six points, three goals, three assists against that, like against

that top pair, absolutely insane.But anyway, what's the next type of
player you wanted to go over theseries? I actually want to us who
do you believe it's the most disappointingplayer of this series on either Team tenor
Jano by far? Oh my gosh. You see what they gave up for
him. He did not come toplay at all three games played minus two

five penny minutes, and that wasthat one fight where him and Chan he
got some good shots, thirteen minutesof ice time, not really anything to

he got taken out in Game onewith that McCabe hit, but ever since

coming back he ended up scoring agoal, almost scored on the breakaway in

Well, if I'm not mistaken,I believe he was. Did you
get taken the lineup? I knowyou was taken out, but I believe
he was also dealing with an injury. Yeah, that injury related, but

like, for me, how muchof it is really injury related if he's
playing the two games after that fight, I mean less he like tweaked something
in between practice that you won't know, but well he did have He also

was another big asset to this teamand another reason why they made it as

far as they did. Carter bHaigy ended up scoring um the ok winner
to send Florida to the second round, and Alexander Barkov you know what I'm
actually I'm not also include Sam Benand The's and this. I feel like
these are your five players that reallyset the tone and really gave an understanding
of what it's going to be likeplaying against them. And we see this,

especially when like how they took outBoston. So how should I How
should I start this material? BecauseI'm trying to think because at the end
of the day, this can bean insane matchup no matter how they play
each other out, and it's gonnabe a physical and long grinding series.

Florida is the preferred matchup over theBoston Bruins, especially since even if

the matchup though for the Leaves.I think the Leaves match it up against
them very nicely. I think youcould argue they have the slight edge in
