Descritte come svogliate, distratte, aggressive o impulsive, le persone con ADHD vivono una condizione di profondo disagio e malessere psicologico; si tratta di una marcata sofferenza che a lungo andare compromette lo sviluppo del Sé aprendo ad una serie di scelte rischiose.
E' fondamentale considerare e tener sempre presente che la componente di sofferenza e disagio esperita è reale; le persone con ADHD soffrono ed è necessario attuare un percorso di supporto non solo per la gestione della vita quotidiana ma anche e soprattutto per le gestione della componente emotiva.
