أحمد سمير, صحفي و كاتب مقالات مصري, من مواليد 1981, تخرج في كلية الآداب جامعة القاهرة عام 2003, و بدأ العمل الصحفي عام 2005 في جريدة الدستور, بدأ كتابة مقالات الرأي عام 2010 في موقع البديل الاكتروني, ثم عمل كاتبا صحفيا في "بوابة المصري اليوم" ثم في "بوابة الشروق". فاز بجائزة نقابة الصحفيين لأفضل مقال سياسي مرتين متتاليتين عامي 2014 و 2015, و جازة مصطفى الحسيني لأفضل مقال صحفي عام 2014, صدر له كتابي "مانشيتات يوم القيامة" و "أحمد 1981", عن دار الشروق.
