Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, you guys, it's your girl Jazz, so real quick.
I just wanted to come on and let you know
your girl got a new mic. So if the audio
sounds a little different, that's why. Now about the last episode,
you know what, sometimes you just gotta capture the moment, right.

(00:23):
That was one of those times I had to get
the message out even if the sound wasn't perfect. But listen,
I'm learning, okay, so bear with me as I figure
this whole podcasting thing out. I do want to incorporate
visuals soon, so maybe even recording so you guys can
see me. But for now, we're keeping it simple, keeping
it real, and keeping it consistent. Alright, enough, chit chat,

(00:49):
let's jump into episode fourteen. Let's get down to it. Hey,
my lilies, welcome back to the Ink and Impact Podcasts,
where we talk about life, growth and everything in between.

(01:09):
I'm your favorite gardener. You had to sprinkle some words
of encouragement on your soul today. Today's episode is for
the everyday soldiers. And when I'm saying when I say soldiers,
i'm talking about those not those on the battlefold, but
our weapons and stuff. I'm talking about you, the parents,

(01:31):
the caregivers, the ones who wake up every single day
and fight battles. Nobody sees to the ones who roll
out of bed before the sun comes up, making breakfasts,
packing lunches and getting heads off to school, making sure

(01:51):
the bills are paid and the house runs smooth, and
those important moments like birthdays and Christmas, more and sports
games and stuff like that, they're never missed. You are
a soldier for life, a soldier for the day to
day grind, and it's time somebody acknowledges that now most

(02:23):
people on the outside might not never understand the weight
of what you carry, because let's be real, life isn't
just about the big milestones. It's about those small ones,
those quiet victories every day. But here's the truth. We

(02:48):
all have internal battles that make those everyday tasks feel
like climbing a mountain. Some days, just getting out of
bed is a fight, and we all cope differently. Right
Some of us try to keep the struggle hidden because
we don't want anyone else to feel burden. Some isolate themselves,

(03:13):
some talk it out with a loved one. And then
there are those moments when we just go with the flow,
hoping things work out for themselves. But let's not forget
something important. That inner voice. For a lot of us,
that voice is God speaking. Sometimes he's whispering, be still, wait,

(03:39):
and other times he's nudging us to move forward. Now,
if we're honest, sometimes we ignore that voice and try
to do things our own way. I know I've done it.
Have you the power of stillness. So here's my message

(04:14):
for today. Allow yourself to be still, give yourself permission
to breathe, to slow down, to recognize that the decisions
you make matter. Because here's what I know. Life only

(04:43):
gives you one shot. And while we can't control everything
that happens, we can control how we respond and the
decisions we choose to make, and those decisions they are major.

(05:06):
All right, Lilies, Before we go any further, let me
drop a little something for you. If you've been vibing
with this podcast and the way we talk about growth,
faith and intentional living, then you're going to love I Lily.
It Lily is my baby, y'all. It's about helping you
stay rooted and inspired every single day. We've got planners
that aren't just about schedules. They got scripture, goal setting,

(05:27):
and space for reflection so you can grow in every season.
And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good pen
and planner combo? Right, So, if you're ready to level
up your planning game and keep looming no matter what
life throws at you, head over to Italyinc. Dot com
or check out the link in the show notes. All right,

(05:47):
let's get back to it. For my parents out there,
you have the most important job in the world. Every
choice you make for your children, every small moment of consistency,
every time you choose to keep going even when you're tired,

(06:09):
it matters. You're shaping a foundation that your kids will
stand on for the rest of their lives. And you're
teaching them resilience, patience, and love just by showing up.
So please don't take that lightly. It means everything. Now

(06:34):
for those of us without kids, I'm right here with you.
It doesn't mean we can't appreciate the beauty of this calling.
It takes strength, patience, and grace to God another life.
But honestly, that's something I think is worth honoring and
learning from. So here's what I want you to take

(07:02):
from today's episode. Life isn't just a series of choices.
It's to me behind the decisions we commit to, whether
that's getting out of the bed to go to work,
making sure your family feels loved and safe, or even

(07:24):
taking time for yourself so you can show up better tomorrow.
These decisions shape your life and the lives connected to you.
And one day, the seeds you're planting now they're going
to bloom, your guidance, your example, your love. It will

(07:49):
show up in the generations that come after you. So
don't quit, keep going, keep watering yourself because you're over
flow waters others too. Lilies, you're doing amazing. Don't let

(08:14):
the wait of today make you forget the beauty of
what you're building, And remember the decisions you make now
are shaping something far bigger than today. Until next time,
keep blooming, keep shining, and never forget your favorite gardener

(08:40):
is rooting for you.
