a moment to reflect and recap season one, So let's
take a quick stroll down memorylane. We kicked off with
Wanda Felice and the importance of personal branding for planners.
She reminded us that your brand isn't just what you do,
it's who you are. Maria Scott shared her entrepreneurial journey
(01:14):
and how wedding planning and entrepreneurship found her, and her
story was so inspiring for those of us who didn't
plan on becoming business owners. Shaun Tigue got real about
building your business while working nine to five and balancing
your dream with your day job. I opened up about
visions and dreams and how to intentionally craft your path
(01:37):
aligned with God's purpose for your life. Tanisha talked about
overcoming the fear of asking for help, a message we
all needed, especially for those of us used to doing
everything alone. Tanya Breelan what of my coaching clients joined
us for it works when you work. It a peek
inside the mind of a planner who's doing the work
(01:59):
and seeing the results. And Chari Sawyer closed the season
with a vulnerable and powerful conversation about imposter syndrome and confidence.
There were so many gems dropped last season. There was
a clear theme that ran through every single episode, and
that same.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Theme we're carrying it into season two.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
So many of you send dms, you emailed me, you
made comments, you shared your thoughts on stories and how
these stories and these.

And I just want to say thank you from the
bottom of my heart for listening and for being a
part of this community. Now let's talk about becoming. The
Business Retreat twenty twenty five. This year's theme was Departure
to Your Dream. The travel inspired theme symbolized taking intentional
action towards the life and businesses God has called us
(02:55):
to build. We kicked things off at the holiday bar,
followed by Saturday morning prayer and affirmation with Hadassa Joseph,
who has faithfully opened up every retreat since the beginning.
Our speaker lineup was curated by God himself right. We
had Kawanya, who taught us about how to price like
(03:15):
a pro and attract ideal clients. Chaffon showed us how
to create a lead generation machine that converts to nishe
our implementation coach helped us take action in real time.

our discovery calls. Jade walked us through how to elevate
and lead high performance teams. We had many presentations from
(03:40):

Speaker 2 (03:55):
On Sunday, we closed out with our signature Becomes Brunch,

titled Elevating your Inner Spark, a wedding planner's guide to
stay inspired, say resilient, and keep creating unforgettable moments. We

(04:18):

And also I have a couple of pre retreat sessions
coming up for you. So what's next? What's expect in
season two?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Let's be real when it comes to starting, growing and
scaling your wedding business. Seventy five percent of the journey
is mindset, Yes It, strategy.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Matters, systems matters.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Revenue generating activities definitely matter. But if your mind isn't right,
if your heart isn't in line, if your faith is shaky.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
You'll stay stuck. You'll self sabotage. You'll talk yourself.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Out of the very thing that you've been praying about,
the very thing that you're wanting to do.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
You'll talk yourself out of it. I have been there.
I had days.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
I still have days where doubt tries to creep in
and take over, where fear whispers, who do.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
You think you are?
Speaker 2 (05:37):
And when that little voice creeps in, the one sent
to distract and discourage me, I say, shut up and
sit in the corner. I know, I know, listen, I'm
a mom, and I know it's not nice. But sometimes
you have to get bold with yourself talk, because here's
the truth I stand on. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
(05:59):
He has plants prosper me and everything I touch will
succeed because he is with me. Some days that's a
daily prayer, a daily declaration, a daily affirmation. But I
show up anyway because the calling, the business, this platform
is bigger than me. Now, let's talk about what to
(06:19):
expect some more in season two. We're going deeper, spiritually, mentally, strategically.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
This season is about doing the real work.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
The work that happens behind the pretty Instagram fees and
polished photos is the work that builds legacy, sustainability. It's
the work that grows your faith, your revenue, and your impact.
Y'all hear all the following in season two set focus
episodes pre Retreat session replays the Planners and Pajamas panel
(06:53):

I'm bringing you the real strategies. I'm bringing tools and
frameworks to help you streamline and scale because mindset without
action is just a dream.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
We'll also talk about AI. We'll talk about automation.
Speaker 2 (07:17):

soapbox I'm standing on is ourga's revenue generating activities that
actually move the needle in your business and actually get
you booked and actually makes you money. So whether you're
