(00:56):
see the World by Eric Carl. One fine morning, a
rooster decided that he wanted to travel, so right then
and there he set out to see the world.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
He hadn't walked very far when he began to feel lonely.
Oh dear, just then he met you cats.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
The rooster said to them, come along with me to
see the world. The cats liked the idea of a
trip very much.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
How we would love to They.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Pulled and set off down the road with the rooster.
As they wandered on, the rooster and the cats met
three frogs. How would you like to come with us

(02:10):
to see the world, asked the rooster, eager for more company.
Why not, answered the frogs, We are not busy now,
So the frogs jumped along behind the rooster and the cats. Rooster,

(02:33):
two cats and three frogs. Now, After a while, the
rooster and the cats and the frogs saw four turtles
crawling slowly down the road.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Hey, said the rooster, how.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Would you like to see the wall? It might be fun,
snapped one of the turtles, and they joined the others.
As the rooster, the cats, the frogs, and the turtles

(03:17):
walked along, they came to five.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Fish swimming in the brook.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Where are you going?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Asked the fish.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
We're off to see the world, and said the rooster.
May we come along, pleaded the fish. A delighted to
have you, the rooster replied, and so the fish came
along the sea the world.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
The sun went down and began to get dark. The
moon came up over the horizon.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Where's out dinner?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Asked the cats. Where we supposed to sleep?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Asked the frogs, we're cold? Complete the turtle, completed the turtles.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Just then some fireflies flew overhead. Who who afraid? Cried
the fish.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Now the rooster really had not made any plans for
the trip around the wall. He had not remembered to
think about for the shelter, so he didn't know how
to answer his friends, Oh, dear, why are they going
to do? After a few minutes of silence, the fish

(04:58):
suddenly decided that.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
It might be best if they headed back, headed off
a home.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
They wished the other's a happy trip, and swam away.
Then the turtles began to think about their warm house.
They turned and crawled back down the road without so

(05:27):
much chester. Goodbye, m.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Bye bye.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Then the frogs were too happy with the trip anymore either,
first one and then the other, and finally the last
one jumped away. They were for lighting now, though they
wished the rooster a good evening as they disappeared into

(05:56):
the night.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
They were frogs.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
The cats then remembered an unfinished meal they had left behind.
They kindly wished to rooster a happy junior. They too
headed for home. Now the rooster was all alone, and
he hadn't seen anything off the world.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
He thought for a minute and then said to the
moon up to.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Tell you the truth, I'm not only hungry and cold,
but I'm homesick as well.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
The moon did not answer, it too disappeared.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Oh well, the by moon, the rooster knew what he
had to do.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
He turned around and went back home again. He enjoyed
a good meal of grain and then sat on his
very own perch. After a while, he went to sleep
and had a wonderful, happy dream all about a trip
around the world.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
The end, well, I'm glad everyone went home happy.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I'll see you guys in the next story time that
