You know, a part of us developing ourselves, a part
of us developing our social skills and becoming who we are,
is the need and the want to be noticed, to
be heard, to be looked at, to be wanted, to

be appreciated, and to be a part of something. And
that is all falling into what we call wanting to
be seen. We all want to be seen. Being seen
as literally someone see you. It also means someone's listening
to you and hearing you and noticing you and understanding
(01:05):
you and try to understand you and to include you
in everything that involves you and the people you love.
That is to be seen, and it's important that we
are seen, no matter how young we are and no
matter how old we are. If we are a part
of something, and if we want to be a part
(01:26):
of something, we want to be seen. Now I'm going
to share with you the three things that we can
do even though way it's still young. You are young.
I'm young at Harvard, I'm teachery mill I'm old older.
If you want to be seen, I've got these three
things that you can do to let people know that
(01:53):
you are ready to be seen and we want to
be seen. The first thing to do is behaving the
right behavior, the right attitude, which means you got to
be kind to people. You got to be helpful to people.
You got to be the one to smile. You got
to be doing good things. You got to be taking
(02:16):
the initiative, be the first to start, be the one
to give a smile, do something good. Then people will
notice you and people will see you. Second is to
speak good, speak kindly, and speak up when you have
an opinion on an or an idea, or you want
(02:40):
to be included in a conversation. So you've got to
be the first one to step in and say, hey,
I have an idea, or Hi, that's very nice, I
like your jacket, or I think you've done very well,
well done, buddy, that was a really good kick. No,
So that is still speak up and share your voice. Right,

So first is to act good and kindly. Second is
to share your voice, and thirdly, you must also include
other people because when you include other people and you
let other people be seen, most other people will also
want to include you. They will also do the same
(03:24):
for you. Right, So it's not about you for you
to be seen, it's also about other people, so also
include everyone. So first thing you need to do again,
let's do a whole three steps again. One is to
do good and to be good and to act kindly. Second,
you got to share your voice, which means you've got
to give compliments, you got to say, give your ideas,

your suggestions, and speak up. And third you've got to
also include other people in your plans and your ideas
and your activities, and you'll allow them to also share
their expressions and your opinion, so that that will also
allow them to include you. So those other three steps.
So it's simple, maybe not easy, but it's simple. You

got to push on because if you want to be seen,
you've got to put in the yet. But it's not
just about everybody giving it to everyone, to every one
