(02:58):
setting I am so glad that you are here with
me today. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
It's a pleasure to be here with you.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I got to tell you, you and I from the moment
we first connected, had a sole connection. I just love
the work you're doing in the world, the passion you
have for bringing these teachings to children, because like myself,
you also believe that we are the nurtures of the
next generation, and to empower them with these tools gives

(03:31):
me such hope for the world.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Absolutely, the children are our future, and we can be
planting the seeds today for a world even twenty years
from now, in which these children are making decisions on
behalf of their own families and their communities and the
world at large. And they're doing it from a place

(03:54):
of understanding the interconnectedness of everything, and.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
That's so powerful. So I'm curious. I always loved to
hear a little of the background that led my guests
to the work they do in the world. So what
led you to create and found DNC Jaguars Spirit camp Well.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
I have always been very spiritual, and I have always
loved working with children, but the two of those things
didn't come together until after I had a traumatic brain
injury that I sustained in a head on car crash
in California, and as a result of that accident, it

(04:38):
really upended my life. I ended up moving back to
Maine and living with my parents, and it was almost
nine years before I was able to live on my
own again.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
So it was a long.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Process of recovery. And once I started living on my
own again, I started having what I call downloads information
at three point twenty in the morning, and at first
I didn't understand them, but over time I realized I
was being shown new ways to share the spiritual and

(05:12):
metaphysical techniques and tools that I have used my whole life,
how to teach those to children. And over time, in
those downloaded messages, I received messages such as, we are
looking for someone to be the voice in the face
of this work for the children of the planet, and

(05:35):
would you be willing to be the channel for this
work so that children around the world can understand the
balance that we need between mind, body and spirit to
really grow up as balanced, healthy humans, and that this
is the path forward to change the consciousness of the

(05:56):
planet in a short period of time, as opposed to
over a couple of centuries. If we worked with millions
of children today planting those seeds of love, kindness, compassion,
and joy. As those children grow up, they have the
ability to change the consciousness of our planet in a

(06:16):
very short period of time as they age into adulthood
and being the decision makers for their community and the world.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
I got to tell you, I knew a lot of
your story, but I don't think I knew about the
auto wax in the depth of your recovery. And so
you know, blessings to you that you came through that
and not just came through it, came through it with
a mission and a message that is so needed in
this world. So thank you one. If I having the

(06:49):
courage to follow those I call them divine downloads, because
so many of us I think we pooh pooh them, right,
We're like, oh that I can't do that. And I
love that you trusted them, honored them, and now brought
them to life. So I just wanted to share that love. Note.
So one of the things too, is when I introduced you,

(07:13):
I mentioned helping children with emotional regulation. To me, that
is such an important gift for our children because the
world in media and social media is coming at them
so fast, nothing like when we were children, and that
is I think critical for a healthy body, mind, and spirit.

(07:36):
Have you discovered that too, that so many children actually
yearning for those kind of tools.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Absolutely, they're like sponges and they really want more and
more as I work with them. One of the things
that I feel is really supporting the children in my
community at this point in time is I am teaching
a mindfulness program at a private school in my community.

(08:02):
And what that's enabling me to do is see the
needs that the children in my community have, and through
developing curriculum for them, I feel like it will have
an effect that spreads out throughout our community. I'm already

(08:23):
seeing that where one of the children's parents came to
me one day and said, I want you to know
that you're not just teaching my son. He comes home
and he teaches me, and then I go to work
the next day and I'm teaching my co workers. So
what you're doing in this classroom isn't just staying in

(08:43):
this classroom. You are impacting our entire community. And I
just wanted you to know that, and that just touched
my heart. So using that school as kind of a
model for how I can support children in a wider network.

(09:06):
I also created an after school program there which deals
with socially emotional curriculum for children. So during the day,
I'm their mindfulness teacher, and in the afternoon, I'm helping
them with everyday situations like what is it like to
be in friendships? And what are the different qualities of friendships?

(09:27):
And we spent I think fourteen weeks every week discovering
and learning about a different aspect of friendship, whether it
be being courteous, being honest, being trustworthy, and really diving
into what those feel like to be on the receiving

(09:47):
end of those qualities. And then how do we show
up in our friendships and share those gifts and qualities
with our friends. So I feel like there's an evolving
transition happening with Dancing Jaguar and its curriculum, because it
started with this metaphysical spiritual spirit camp and now it's

(10:11):
evolving into so much more, with a wide range of
offerings for.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Any child.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Regardless of what their spiritual slant is or religious slant is.
There's support and I'm actually creating the curriculum as I
go to support the needs that I'm seeing from the
children that are in front of me every day.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
I love this and I love the words that that
woman shared with you about her experience, because as you
were sharing it, all I could see was throwing a
stone in the water in the ripple effect. You may
be working with that one child, but that one child
continues to ripple out as she's so beautifully shared. And
I think when we have a soul's mission here and

(11:03):
we stay true to it, that's that's the side effect,
isn't it?

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Absolutely yes?

Speaker 4 (11:09):
And for me, I feel a big shift in twenty
twenty five and the energy in twenty twenty five in
terms of the visibility, the reach of the curriculum that
I'm creating constantly for children. It just feels like the
energy is different in twenty twenty five, and I'm so

(11:30):
excited to embrace it and go with the flow of it.
I feel like I'm I'm feet first flowing downstream this
year and it feels wonderful.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I love that vision for you, my friend. We're gonna
take a quick break, my friends, and stay listening.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Welcome back my Friendel listen to inspire conversations with me Today.
Is Avagoula, founder and visionary behind Dancing Jaguars Spirit Camp.
So what I want to talk about now is like
you just beautifully shared that you're actually co creating the
curriculum with the energy of the children who are in

(14:20):
attendance in that moment, give us an idea for those
moms that may be listening and going, oh my goodness,
I think my child would love this when is like
the next one and we are as well as what
ages are is Dancing Jaguar Spirit Camp open.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
To Dancing Jaguar Spirit Camp is open for children ages
six to twelve. And this summer I am My flagship
camp that I have is at North Yarmouth Academy in Yarmouth, Maine,
from July twenty eighth to August firs, and that is
the program that I.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Look forward to. That program every year.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I find that that particular Spirit Camp is one where
it has become a destination camp for families. Last summer,
I had a student from Italy whose grandparents invited her
to come that particular week so she could stay with

(15:30):
them and go to Spirit Camp. I had a family
from Mexico come with their child so their child could
experience Spirit Camp. And I had a woman from Brazil
come and do the teacher training program with me the
week before and she stayed and did an internship with
me that week. And there's a family from Massachusetts that

(15:53):
comes up every summer. They plan their summer vacation around
Spirit Camp. So that particular camp the flagship camp because that's.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
The one where.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
People I will never give up like that camp. Other
Spirit Camps are taught by other instructors, but that's that's
my flagship program, and people actually plan trips with their
families to come and experience Spirit Camp. There so that's
the big one that I'm doing this summer. And then
there are other Spirit Camp teachers who are doing Spirit

(16:29):
Camps around the country and those can be found on
the Dancing Jaguar website.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
I love that, and I just want to clarify. Is
it a day camp or an overnight Oh, that's.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Such a good question. It is a day camp. We
meet from eight point thirty to three o'clock every day
and usually the parents drop their children off. If it's
a family that's on vacation, the parents drop the child off,
go explore on their own and then meet up with
the child at three o'clock and then they do family Man.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
It's so beautiful. So thank you for sharing that. So
what are some of the ways Spirit Camp impacts the
lives of the children who attend the program. I have
a feeling I can energetically see the transformation just from
the words and everything you've been sharing. But I'd love
to learn more from you.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Well. I think one of the ways to share the
profound impact it has on children's lives is to share
a couple of the stories that have happened at Spirit Camp.
There are so many, I'm going to pick a couple here.
I had a five year old come to Spirit Camp
actually before she even started kindergarten, and after going through

(17:46):
Spirit Camp, like she was just a light like shining
so incredibly brightly. And when she started kindergarten, it was
a full day for her and she had to go
on the bus both ways and it was a super
long day for her. And one day at lunch, she
started crying because she missed her mom. And when she
got home from school that day and was telling her

(18:07):
mom what happened, her mom said, well, how did you
handle that? And she said, Mom, I was fine. I
know how to shield myself. I zipped up my chakras.
So isn't that amazing? So at five years old, this
little girl knew that she had a tool that she
could use to not take in that negative energy around her,

(18:29):
and she used it and she was completely fine, like
so many kids I know could have been traumatized by
being laughed at in one of their first experiences in
a school, and she was in her power. And then
another story of a five year old is this child
just really loved working with chakras. And months after Spirit

(18:52):
Camp ended, her mom sent me an email and said
that she the mom had come home from work exhausted
that day, and her five year.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Old just went up to her and said.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
Mom, why don't you let me align your chakras before dinner.
I think you'd feel a lot better. And what the
mom said is that in that moment, she was not
only impressed that her daughter remembered how to do a
chakra alignment attunement from Spirit Camp, but she said she
realized that children who go to Spirit Camp become partners

(19:25):
in the holistic wellbeing of their entire family. It's not
just the parents that are looking out for the well
being of the children and each other, but the children
have knowledge, wisdom, tools and techniques that they can use
when someone in their family is struggling.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
They can assist.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
So Spirit Camp not only supports the children who are
attending it, giving them a toolbox full of tools, but
it actually shifts dynamics in families too. I remember a
mom telling me that before Spirit Camp her eight year
old child, when her eight year old child was miserable,

(20:08):
everyone around that child was miserable because she made sure
everyone knew how miserable she was. And after Spirit Camp,
she said, her daughter would go into her bedroom and
slam her door, but she would come out a different
child twenty minutes later because she would go straight to
her spirit toolbox that she created at spirit Camp, and

(20:29):
she would find one of the tools that she learned
and work with it and be able to self regulate
and be able to come out of her room having
tended to her own emotional needs while she was in there.
So it impacts entire families.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Just speaks to my soul. As you know, I'm a
grandmother of a soon to be twenty five year old
young man and then a thirteen year old. I called
it the Little Goddess, and I am so big into
empowering them with the tools because, as you know, I've
been on the spiritual path and I see the difference

(21:09):
that you're doing in the world with these children. But
also the ripple effect, because I've noticed it in the grandchildren,
especially the youngest one, just given of the tools so
she feels empowered instead of always looking up. I think
all of us have done this. We look outside ourselves
for answers. And what I'm hearing is during spirit Camp,

(21:31):
you're giving them tools that when they feel off, they're
self empowered, they don't have to go outside themselves because
they have those tools that are in this their own
personal spiritual Toolkip, I love that exactly. Yeah, I think
we all, I think given adults need that girl and

(21:53):
a lot of us we don't give ourselves permission.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Right create that space for ourselves exactly. And that's why
so many of the parents who bring their children to
Spirit Camp said, but I need this for me too,
Like I love that my child is learning this stuff,
but I never learned it as a child, and I
still need to learn this as an adult.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Can you make a.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Spirit Camp for adults? Which is how that program ended
up being created. I listened to the parents saying I
need this too, So I totally agree with you that,
you know, finding the answers inside is so key when
we're struggling and we're looking for the path forward. And

(22:39):
one of the things that I think comes out of
Spirit Camp is the children learn tools to be able
to access that quiet place within and they learn how
to start trusting their intuition. So through interactive activities and
games and craft projects, we're constantly supporting the children and

(23:04):
giving them tools to help them understand and really trust
that the answers they are seeking can be found within.
They don't have to look outside themselves for them, and
that is a powerful way for a child to start
growing up when they're six, seven, eight years old.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
My god, it is I mean, I didn't get that
less until I was in my thirties. And the fact
that the about living from the inside out instead of
the outside in, and what a gift it is for
children to have that knowledge and that actual experience at
such a young age. It becomes a part of who
they are exactly.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
And that's why I say that they have the ability
to change the consciousness of our planet, because I mean
we're even doing things like taking them outside in nature,
and the whole first part of the week they're learning
how to work with their own energetic system, their chakras,
of learning how to experience or is by seeing them

(24:04):
and sensing them. But then we go out into nature
and we experience nature from an energetic perspective, and we
connect with the spirits of the land, the spirits of
the trees, the fairies, the gnomes, and it opens up
an entire new world for kids. Because many of these
children do love being outside in nature, but they haven't

(24:27):
experienced nature the way that they're being introduced to it
at Spirit Camp. And that's why I say, when these
kids are making decisions, you know, twenty thirty years from
now for the community, their community, and for the world
at large, they will really understand the interconnectedness of everything
because they spend childhood meditating with trees and getting messages

(24:48):
from tree spirits and the ancestors of the land.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
I mean, that's powerful stuff.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
So even if they consciously forget they did that at
Spirit Camp, that information is in their bodies as they're
growing up.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
And I can feel the passion you have for working
with and that's why I just had that instant connection
with you. So we have moments before we have to
take our next break. You mentioned that there are now
Spirit Camp for adults. Are those also in Maine? In
those are five day metaphysical beautiful experiences. Yes, So a

(25:27):
little bit about that before our break. Then we'll come
back and talk about it more.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
Okay, Well, I'm doing actually a Spirit Camp for Adults
retreat at Fairy Beach Retreat Center in Saco, Maine, June
eighteenth through twenty second, and it's a five day immersion
into reconnecting with your authentic self and really tapping into
your inner wisdom, your intuition, and reconnecting with the essence

(25:55):
of who you are and tapping into the knowledge or
exploring what is your dharma for this lifetime? What is
your mission? Why are you here? And in addition to that,
you know, just learning a lot of the same stuff
that children learn, working with chakras and orison and divination

(26:17):
tools and spirit helpers and working with nature energetically. So
it's a full metaphysical spiritual smortis board for adults and
I can't wait for it this year.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
I love it. So you say adults, So it's open
to women and men. Correct, yes, and that's a day
camp also, well, it's.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
A retreat center, so people can actually stay right there.
I mean, we do have a commuter rate if people
end up commuting to the retreat center. But it is
a retreat center with everything from a campground to bunk
rooms to double rooms, private rooms, and a part meant
to rent a house to rent. Like, the accommodations are

(27:02):
so vast that people can really find an accommodation that
suits their budget and their family. If they are coming
there with their entire family, one family member can go
off with the children and hang out at the beach
all day because it's they have their own private beach.
It's gorgeous and while the other person is in the program,
So the accommodations and the program itself are two separate

(27:27):
prices because of that.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Oh, I love this and I love that you're doing
it for adults. We're going to take a break and
will be back in a moment with a vagulay of
dancing Jaguars. Spirit Camp will be right back.

loved hearing all about Spirit Camp for adults, which sounds
so yummy as well as her flagship Spirit Camp for children.

you have supportive digital programs. Are they for the children,
adults or a combination.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
I mostly do digital programs for adults. I would love
to do them for children as well, but what I
have found is many of the target market that I
work with the children in real life, These are parents
who don't really want their children online very much. I
would love just to have more programs online for children.

(30:45):
And if the interest is out there in podcast land,
please reach out to me because I would love to
launch some more programs online for children. At the moment,
they're mostly for adults, and.

about ways to raise our vibration, and I talk about
that a little more in detail with what I mean
by that and how our emotions are frequencies and when

(31:26):
we're in fear and anxiety and stress, whether it's in
our personal lives, in our work, or in the just
dealing with the world at large. Right now, we don't
function at our best and we don't feel good. And
the whole program is about self care steps that we
can do that will raise our vibration out of fear

(31:48):
and into fabulous, into the resonance of love, because that
is where we can initiate change in our world, is
when we are vibrating at a higher frequency and it it's.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
A ripple effect.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
It spreads out to the people around us, and we
can really have an impact on not just ourselves, but
the people and the world around us when we learn
self care tools that can take us from feeling fear
to feeling fabulous.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
I love that, and you know I'm all about raising
you vibe right. Yeah again, everyone DNCN Jaguar Inspirations dot
com to learn more about that. Something else that's evolved
as you've done things is you now teach and train

(32:39):
other instructors to become Spirit Camp Leaders. Is am I
wording that correctly?

Speaker 3 (32:46):
That is correct?

Speaker 4 (32:47):
Yes, I have a certification program that people can take
to become a certified Spirit Camp teacher, which gives them
the ability to use the Spirit Camp logo and marketing
materials in their communities and they can actually teach Dancing
Jaguars Spirit Camp two children in their communities and help

(33:09):
spread this even wider. So to date, I think there
are almost we're just under one hundred teachers nationwide.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Hmmm. Think of the ripple my friend.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Yes, ripple effect is real.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
And all that information if someone is listening is interested
in becoming an instructor, it is on the website.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Also correct, That is correct.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
We have a Spirit Camp for Kids teacher training program
and there's information about that on the website, and there's
also a page four Spirit Camp for Adults teacher training program.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
I love this idea because by you sharing the love
certifying these instructors, look at the ripple effects reaching children
all over the US and possibly abroad.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
Exactly when I was given the information years ago, when
I was recovering from the brain injury, I was told
that this ripple effect will end up having a global
impact on the consciousness of the planet. So I'm just
watching it spread right now, it's spreading through North America.
But like that lady from Brazil came last summer to
learn the teacher training, to do the teacher training program,

(34:24):
and now she is certified to be bringing Spirit Camp
to the children in her community in Brazil.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
So I'm excited to watch.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
It start branching out into the global community.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
Goodness, I already feel it as if as if it
is because this mission, you're just so passionate about it,
your heart is fully in it. And to me, when
those things are in place, it's unstoppable because you're you're
in the flow with the divine.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
I agree one hundred percent. Spirit keeps telling me that
I need to share one more story with you. May
I share another one? I've heard it three times, so
I think I'm just going to pipe up here. There
was a child in one of my Spirit camps in
Virginia who was really struggling with shamanic journeying and finding
her power animal. That's something that we do in every

(35:16):
Spirit camp. We help children connect to their power animal
or spirit animal, and this child was struggling. So I
offered to do a journey on her behalf, and when
I did, I came back with the essence of a starfish,
which was really unusual. I'd never encountered a starfish for
a power animal before, and I asked my spirit helpers,

(35:38):
why this starfish for her? And I was told that
when a starfish loses one of its appendages, it will
grow back. It has the ability to self heal, and
this child needs starfish energy right now.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
And I asked.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
For help sharing that information with an eight year old
so she would understand what I was saying. So I
called the child over and as I was sharing this
information with her, she started just crying tears of joy
and patting her face and saying, oh my god, Oh
my god, you have no idea how big this is.
Oh my god, this is incredible, as she's just sobbing,

(36:14):
and she chose not to share any more with me,
so when she stopped crying, she was so excited to
go talk to her friends in the classroom. But later
that day I shared with the dad, her dad, what
happened because it was such a big response, and he
said he understood completely why it was so big for her,

(36:35):
because she was just coming to terms with the fact
that she felt like she was a boy trapped in
a girl's body. And he said, what you did is
you just gave her hope. And I said, I didn't
give her anything. This is her spirit helper coming forward
and saying it is here, it is ready to support her.
All she has to do is ask for its help.

(36:57):
And she has Starfish me and now for her moving
forward in life. And the parents were so taken and
pleased and happy for this child that they ended up
bringing a starfish theme into her bedroom and decorating with
starfish so she would always be surrounded by hope and

(37:19):
remember that Starfish is in her life to support her
on her journey. And what happened. I shared this story
at a large expo event in twenty nineteen and last
year last fall, a woman wrote to me and said,
I heard you speak at such and such event in

(37:41):
twenty nineteen, and my grandson needs to hear the starfish story.
Would you put it in an email and send it
to me? So I did, and then I happened to
be doing that same event again last year about six
weeks after she had written to me, and she came
up to me with the little card of thank you.
But inside the card was a starfish charm to put

(38:05):
on a necklace, and she said, my grandson was so
touched by the starfish story that he wanted me to
buy one for you and one for him, so both
of you can wear the starfish and remember how powerful
these stories are for the children who need to hear them.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
You're going to make me cry, Avon.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
Isn't that incredible?

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Well, there was so many layers to this story. One
is the initial child and receiving that sacred gift and
opening a heart and hope. And what really also touched
me is, oh, my god, those parents are such blessings
to that child that they did all that to help

(38:49):
her stay in connection, you know, decorate in the room
and all that tell me that like that brought tears
to my eyes. Like those are parents who are hearing
and honoring their child's path. That was beautiful. So I
was so glad that spirit nudged you to hear that
sacred story, my friend.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
And that that story has a ripple effect because it
is still touching children's lives, like six years after it
initially happened. So the impact of the education and the
tools the children get at spirit camp are really profound

(39:28):
and do transform lives.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
And that's what I'm talking about. This is already rippling.
Sometimes we can't see what our work, where our work is,
and who it's touching. But in my personal belief system
is I don't have to know. I'm just got to
keep aligned with my work. And then we hear stories
like that, right, it's like, oh my goodness, the ripple

(39:53):
is happening even when I can't see it. Sometimes absolutely, yes, yeah,
I always just stay in alignment with that vision. So
we're going to take our final break and we come
back for our last segment. Let's continue this precious conversation,
my friend. We'll be back in a moment. Please visit

Welcome back and listening to inspire conversations with me today
is Ava Galay, the visionary behind dan Seen Jaguar Spirit Camp,
a transformative program designed to instill in children the vital
harmony of mind, body and spirit. So let's talk about
a little switch here, because you also have some books

(42:53):
and you are always sharing your message, So tell us
about your books, Ava, Well.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
I have an online store that if people go to
my website, they'll be able to see a tab for products,
and in that online store people can find many many
books both for children and adults, and decks of cards
and specific dancing Jaguar products that I have bundled and

(43:21):
put together. So there's quite a bit of product available
on the Dancing Jaguar website. And one of the things
that I feel really good about is I've spent years
researching independent authors who may have books that are not

(43:42):
necessarily mainstream that support children and their spiritual development. So
I remember going to like really big bookstores around the
country when I was on a promotional tour a few
years ago, and I feel like the Dancing Jaguar website
has as many books in the metaphysical spiritual realm for

(44:04):
children as any really big bookstore anywhere in the country.
So I'm really proud of what we've curated and have
offered for parents to be able to support their children
and grandparents. I have a lot of grandparents that shop
through the online store as well.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
That's beautiful, and again everyone that's Dancing Jaguar Inspirations dot com.
So I'm curious, do parents ever ask and is it
allowed to attend spirit camp with their child and if
so or if not, just share a little bit about that.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
So in my spirit camps, I have a complete open
door policy for parents. They can come and go as
their schedule allows. Many parents are working, but some will
come and spend part of their lunch with us, or
they may get out of work early and over and
spend time with us. Because the curriculum in Spirit Camp

(45:05):
is new for most parents. As most parents say, I
didn't learn this when I was a child, and I'm
happy my child is, but I don't know how to
support my child when he or she finishes Spirit Camp
because I don't know this stuff. So I always have
an open door policy, and if a parent wants to
come and be with their child during Spirit Camp, I

(45:28):
always say that is welcome. However, it needs to be
up to the child. If the child is okay with
the parent being there, then I'm okay with it. But
obviously the experience is for the child, and if the
child wants to really experience the camp independently of an

(45:49):
adult in their life, I feel like that should be honored.
I don't think that's ever happened. I think kids are
really excited to share this with parents. I have had
a couple of grandparents come with the the child as well,
so other Spirit Camp teachers may have different feelings about it.
If they're new to teaching the curriculum, they may be

(46:10):
nervous about having a parent there, but personally in my camps,
it's an open door policy for parents.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
I love that, and I love that you also give
the children a say, a voice, because that's what Spirit
Camp is all about, right, finding their truth, their voice, yes,
their authentic self, and their unique gifts. Right because you
know in the work that you do, it's helping them
understand their unique gifts. Is that from the perspective of

(46:42):
you know, the way the world is at a young age,
children to talk look what so and so is doing?
You know, the social media thing, right, that perfectionism. It
sounds like you bring them inward to say, you, my friend,
have your own unique gifts.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
Oh absolutely, gosh.

Speaker 4 (47:00):
I remember one time we were talking about auras and
this little boy he was about eight, was getting really frustrated,
and I asked him what was wrong, and he said,
why didn't anyone ever tell me there's a word for
these colors?

Speaker 3 (47:14):
Why don't we talk about this stuff.

Speaker 4 (47:16):
So one of the things that I feel we do
in Spirit Camp that I didn't think of it at
the beginning when I was teaching it is that we
give kids a vocabulary to talk about the experiences they're
having that people normally don't talk about This child had
been seeing or as his entire life, and when his

(47:37):
mom came to pick him up that day, we had
a really interesting conversation with her because she had no idea,
but now he had a word to use to talk
about what he was seeing, and it just expanded into
an entire conversation with that mom. That is opening up
a whole new way for them to be able to

(47:57):
communicate with each other. We embrace kids talking about experiences
that they have, and we really normalize them and they
feel safe. We build a container for these children where
they feel safe to be seen and heard and share
these experiences that are not considered mainstream, but many children

(48:21):
experience them until they start going to school and getting socialized.
So for me, it's an honor and a privilege to
see children share these things and feel so safe to
talk about them in a group setting like this. And
we're building a little network of kids who are spiritually connected.
And I love that, Oh, I love that.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
And one of the things that I feel too, is
there's a whole generation like I even started in my
granddaughter from a young age. They come here already wide open,
but as you she they don't have the vocabulary to
share what their emotional, spiritual, physical, and metaphysical experiences are,

(49:10):
especially if they're born into a family that doesn't have
that language, right exactly, I just I just adore this
because they are the future of the world. And I'm noticing,
like young children, they come here with such light, such gifts,
and then you know, the world kind of smothers it

(49:31):
as it did for all of us, and then we
have to go on the journey of excavating it all
the muck to get back to our light. These children
that are attending Spirit Camp, they're getting such such sacred
validation of who they truly are, and I exactly that's
one of the best gifts we can give our.

Speaker 3 (49:52):
Children, exactly.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
And you know, one of the missions that I hold
really near and dear to my heart is that we
are helping children stay open and trust that they're okay
and they're perfect just the way they are, and they
don't have to shut down parts of themselves so they
can quote fit in with everybody else.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
So if we can.

Speaker 4 (50:15):
Help children stay open and not shut down their gifts
and their sensitivities, they are going to be in such
a stronger, more empowered place, especially when they reach their
teenage years. Can you imagine, like teens, if they had
some of these tools that kids are learning at younger ages.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
I feel like we wouldn't be seeing.

Speaker 4 (50:39):
The crisis that we're seeing in teens and their mental
health and their emotional health. They would be growing up
with tools, so when they hit those teenage years, they
would be much more empowered and have a toolbox to
support themselves with.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Yes, I wish that for every child, and my friend,
they am in awe of you, your heart, emission, your
commitment to it, even when life gets life y, right
like you have stayed focused on being of service to
these families, to these children. I'm just grateful for our connection,

(51:20):
my friend.

Speaker 4 (51:21):
Oh, thank you as I am for my connection with you.
I love you and your community, So thank you.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
You're welcome. So we still have a couple of minutes left.
Is there any insights, piece of wisdom, or slice of
inspiration you want to leave our listeners with, Jag Everything
we talked about today.

Speaker 4 (51:45):
Well, I think a message that I keep hearing from
Spirit for the ten years I've been doing this is
the world is ready and the children are waiting, and
I feel like that message is so powerful because it
is just minding us constantly that the children are open

(52:05):
to receive the information, the curriculum, the toolbox that we
can provide for them so that they can grow up
nurturing their spirit. And I think it's time for all
of us as adults who are in the spiritual realm
to step up and be a mentor for the children
so we can all support them as they're moving forward

(52:28):
shifting our consciousness of the planet. I think that's a
big message right there. The world is ready. The children
are waiting.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
That one really phrase just resonated at such a soul level.
Especially the children are waiting. There's something about they are.
They're waiting for us to not just be living examples,
but also to support them as you're doing and accepting
the truth of who they are instead of what the

(52:59):
world tells me. And they should be exactly And that's
I mean, come on, even as adult I talked to you,
I have so many clients, private mindset clients and business clients,
and I hear all the time, I should, I should,
I should, because they're trying so hard, whether they're a
business owner or just you know, a woman on her

(53:21):
path is self discovery of trying to mirror who and
what others are, abandon their true self and listen, I've
been there. I'm sixty three. I spent my thirties doing that.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
I hear you.

Speaker 2 (53:36):
And because I have that knowledge as you do, that's
the last thing I want for any child is to
be looking outside themselves for validation. And so that's why
I just believe so deeply in the work that you're
doing is they are worthy as they are for who

(53:56):
they are. They don't need that outside validational mia mareene
of someone else's life. And I don't know those words.
That's how deeply your words, just that message it you
just left us with touched me.

Speaker 4 (54:13):
Oh, thank you. I wish I could say they were mine,
but they were given to me. And I feel like
that's that's a tagline for my for my program for kids.
The world is ready and the children are waiting, and
it's a call for all adults who love children and
love being a mentor for children. You know, it's it's
our call to action.

Speaker 2 (54:36):
So it is thank you, That's exactly what it is,
a call to action. And I'm going to leave everyone
with a call to action today else so please visit
