Aunque el número de miembros se ha mantenido estable durante 2021, estos siguen preocupando a las autoridades. Es un hecho que la policía germana destina cada vez más recursos para vigilar a los elementos desestabilizadores que podrían cometer graves actos de violencia por motivos políticos, incluidos atentados terroristas. Solo en junio de 2022, la policía ha identificado a 81 extremistas de derechas potencialmente peligrosos.
