Currently, Detective Becker is assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, where she spends most of her time dedicated to the investigation of sex crimes and victim advocacy with her K-9 partner, Luna. Detective Becker is a FDLE certified instructor and has presented case studies for international conferences and advanced training courses. She regularly works with and is a member of the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART_ and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
In 2023, Detective Becker launched the “Start By Believing” campaign at UCF to ensure every officer at UCFPD is equipped to respond appropriately to sexual assault cases, and know how to best support survivors. In 2020, Detective Becker was awarded Officer of the Year by the UCF Police Department, as well as several other awards…..
