Hello everybody. I'm doctor Cynthia Smith, and this is the Intuitive Hypnotherapy Podcast
and in this meditation today, thisis healing meditation for headaches. As you
know, the purpose of this podcastis to bring a little love, a
little light, some healing into theworld. And often I draw on my

own experiences and okay, like I'musually drawing my own experiences or something I'm
observing in the world. And soI want to share with you some of
the techniques I've been using over thepast couple of weeks since I developed migrain

headaches. Now as a doctor,as an acupuncturist, as a chiropractor,
I have treated people with migraines forthirty two years and I have a under
empathy for migraine sufferers. It isI don't even like attention headache, you
know, yikes. I've had postconcussiveheadaches and do just anything having to do

with your noodle just first of all, just being physically uncomfortable, That's part
of it. But moreover, anythingaffecting your CPO, CPO, your CPU,
your brain, your central nervous systemis can be alarming and should be

heated with the utmost attention if yousuffer from migraines or headaches of any kind,
please obviously go see all of yourappropriate medical practitioners, take your medications,
if you're onso, do whatever isappropriate for you to get healing.

And in addition to any other care, seeing your acupuncturist, saying, your
chiropractor saying, your herbalist, seeingyour massage therapist, and of course your
medical providers. This meditation is it'sa combination of meditation, visualization, accessing

your higher self. But we're alsogoing to do a little psychic surgery.
We're going to imagine that there issomething awry, something that could use tweaking.
We're going to imagine that our higherselves can heal that. And so
disclaimers not miss not left out.And there's lots of different ways you can

have a migraine. You can havechronic migraines, you can have an individual
migraine. As I said, Ihave treated them for years and years with
great success with hybropractic and or acupuncture, combination, managing stress, mitigating food
triggers, et cetera. How minestarted is I was at a party at

a friend's house and I don't knowif you guys have ever heard of bunko?
Simple enough, but some the participantsgot really enthusiastic, and we're screaming
inside over dice rolls. And yes, I'm gonna be a little bit jaded

right now because I feel like usingstadium level voices in a kitchen was just
inappropriate over dice game. And forthose of you usually ladies, that can
be guys who do that high pitchedsqueal, oh my god, you know,

you know it's like sometimes you hearthe kids with the high pitch squeal.
I'm very lucky that my kid neverdid that. But it's just it's
so intense, like you don't needto do that, like right next to
somebody. I don't know if somebodyhas the science behind it and can figure

out how many decibels that is,but like, you're killing me. And
I told the host, I said, it is so loud with some of
these squealers and yellers. I said, I've never had a migraine, but
I know it's triggering a migraine.And she allowed it to continue. And

on the next roll of we wegot louder. Yeah, and in my
particular case, and if this istriggering for you, please listen to another
episode. I'm sharing my experience andI told my doctors said, it felt
like a thousand little swords just jabbingmy hypothalamus, which is a part of

the brain on the deepened the inside, and it was just unrelenting. So
I got the imitrex and that didn'twork, and I went and had a
shot of turtle, and you know, still having some symptoms. And I
gotta be honest, I'm a littlepissed because I told the host, I'm

like, guys, I'm like,listen, this is literally triggering a migraine.
I don't get migraines, but Iknow the triggers, and I know
Autoo is one and anyway, soirrespective, we're going to do a healing
meditation. We're going to draw somelove and some light into our bodies to

heal our brains, to heal ourgyride. Those are the grooves in our
brains, and we're going to doa healing meditation where we imagine that we're
going to bring gold light into allthe parts of our brain and just give
them a refresh, like a springclean for your noodle. I call it
(06:40):
my money maker because I can,you know, retire from chiropractic because my
wrists don't work anymore. But Ican be an awesome hypnotherapist and an acupunctures
because my noodle still works. Sowe're going to refresh our noodles and we're
going to and bring some love andsome light and decrease some tension in our

physical bodies as a result of ourbrains hurting. And we're also going to
invite into our world the healing forthose tools that will help us nurture our
physical form heal our bodies. So, without further ado, find yourself a

comfortable place. We're gonna have ashort sponsor break and when you get back,
will jump in. All right,welcome back, everybody in a nice
comfortable seat or laying down. Takea deep breath in and let it go.

And take a deep breath in andlet it go one more time.
Deep breath in. Imagine that you'reexpanding your belly, contracting your belly,

allow yourself to feel comfortable in yourskin. Imagine that you can take a
deep, cleansing breath and as youlet it go, you sink deeper and
(08:48):
deeper into relaxation, into quiet,into peace, as you allow yourself to
take a deep cleansing breath. Knowthat simply by taking these deep cleansing breaths,
you are activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which turns off the fight or
(09:15):
flight response, allowing your body toquiet, to settle, to stop firing
the fight or flight response. Andwith every cleansing breath, imagine drawing healing
(09:41):
energy into your liver as you cleanseit of the stress of feeling discomfort,
pain in your physical body. Asyou take another deep breath in and let

it go, Imagine that with everycleansing breath, you are releasing the tension
in all of your muscles. Releasethe tension the muscles of your scalp,

back of your head, your face, even the small muscles around your eyes,
allowing them to soften and relax.Allowing the muscles of your neck,
(10:48):
your jaw to soften and relax,The muscles of your shoulders, your upper
rack, your chest to soften andrelax, releasing the tension of the muscles

in your arms, your shoulders,your upper arms, your forearms, your
hands, even the small muscles inyour fingers, allowing them to soften and
relax. The muscles of your torso, your belly, your side body,
(11:35):
your lower back, releasing the tension, allowing them to soften and relax.
The muscles of your hips, yourthighs, your lower legs, your feet,
even the small muscles of your toes, allowing them to soften and relax,
(12:00):
allowing your arms and legs, themuscles to go slack. And perhaps
you say to yourself, my armsare heavy, My arms are heavy,
allowing your heavy arms to gently tractionyou, allowing you to get heavier and
(12:24):
heavier where you lay. Perhaps yousay to yourself, my legs are heavy,
my legs are heavy, allowing yourheavy legs to allow your lower body
to just sink into place, quiet, peaceful sake, comfortable, going down,
(12:50):
down, down, deeper down intorelaxation, releasing the tension with every
natural breath drawing into you, healing, healing for your physical form, healing
for your body, your central nervoussystem, your digestive system, your circulatory
(13:13):
system, giving your entire body ohreboot, a refresh as you go deeper
and deeper into relaxation, into thequiet, into the peace, into the
safety, allowing your body to feelsafe, protected, comforted, and supported
(13:39):
as you allow yourself to sink moredeeply into relaxation, heavy, their arms
are relaxed, legs are relaxed.Deeper down, deeper down, deeper down,
into relaxation. But the every naturalbreath your body is restoring radiant perfect

health. Your body is a selfhealing mechanism. It knows what to do.
As you allow your body to relax, your mind to relax your emotional
body to get a healing going deeperand deeper into relaxation, stepping down from

five as if you're going down abeautiful staircase. Four going deeper down,
deeper down, three deeper, stillfloating, flying, drifting, effortless,
(14:52):
comfortable, safe, two deeper still, quiet, peaceful, safe, comfortable,
releasing all the tension, and oneall the way down, down,
down, down, into the quiet, into the peace. As you allow

yourself to feel your breath drawing lightenergy healing into your lungs to flow throughout
your entire body from the top down, inside out, and outside in.

As you allow yourself to receive thishealing, as you tap into your own
greatness. We are pure love,pure light, and deserving of all good
things. Any energies that make youfeel less than are by definition foreign energy.

And you have the divine right torelease them, to turn them into
fairy dust. As you allow yourselfto go deeper and deeper into relaxation,
into the quiet, into the piecewith every inhial, drawing in gold sparkly
(16:30):
light, drawing that healing energy intoyour lungs, into your heart, to
flow to every part of your body, every one of your seventy trillion cells,
rebooting and updating, allowing your bodyto have this healing vibration. Drawing
(17:00):
that gold sparkly energy into any partof your body that feels uncomfortable, that
has an illness or an injury.Draw your breath, your gold sparkly energy
into those parts that need a healing, that need a refresh and imagine that
(17:25):
you can take a deep breath inand draw that gold sparkly energy into your
brain itself. There are three layersof membrane that surround the brain, lying
the inside of the skull the cranium. They're known as the meningis, and
(17:48):
they protect the brain and hold itin place, create a buffer between this
precious jewel of an organ and it'shard outer shell. It's so valuable.
In fact, the body houses thebrain in bone. Imagine if you will
(18:15):
that you can draw that gold energyinto the meningis and in between the various
layers, giving each one a healing, protecting your brain itself, the equipment
(18:38):
designed to protect your brain. Andyou don't have to know the anatomy to
give yourself this healing. Just imaginethat your higher self knows. Just let
it be. You can't do thiswrong. You allow that gold sparkly energy
(19:03):
to flow through the three layers ofprotection, the underneath of the skull,
the cranium itself, healing your protection. Imagine that that gold sparkly energy can
(19:30):
also heal the cerebral spinal fluid,that liquid that our brain and spinal cord
float within, allowing your body togive yourself the healing of the nutrient site
(19:53):
that your central nervous system is housedwithin. As if you could psychically rinse
or refresh this vital fluid, restoringit to a healthier time. And imagine
(20:18):
that you can draw this gold energyinto your brain. There's a separation between
the right and left halves called themedian sulcus. It's a membrane that separates
the two sides. Imagine that youcan draw that gold sparkly energy into the
(20:40):
median sulcus, healing that supportive membranefrom the front to the back, from
the left to the right, andthe right to the left, healing it
deeply, profoundly. Then imagine thatyou can heal the outside of the brain
(21:03):
itself, all those little grooves,the wrinkles, if you will. Our
brains look kind of like a walnut. I can imagine that. That's why
they say walnuts are good for yourbrain. Help. Just imagine that you
(21:27):
can send that gold sparkly energy intoall those little grooves, healing those parts.
They store energy, they store information. Different parts of the brain connect
(21:48):
to different parts of your body.It's called a homunculus. Imagine as you're
drawing in that gold sparkly energy,that all the parts of your brain get
healed, and therefore the corresponding bodyparts also get a healing. Draw that
(22:14):
gold sparkly energy deeper into the brain, healing the hypothalamus, the medulla oblongata,
the ponds, the pituitary gland,and all the rest of your neuro
anatomy. Again, you don't haveto know, your higher self knows healing
(22:38):
your brain. Drawing that healing energyin and imagining that just by doing this,
you are getting that healing. Youare storing and recovering your brain health.
(22:59):
As you draw that gold sparkly energyinto all the parts of the brain.
Imagine that by doing so, itis spontaneously healing everything that must be
healed, is healing gloriously, perfectly, easily, effortlessly, allowing you to
(23:26):
have blissful, RESTful sleep, allowingyou to have clear clarity in your thoughts,
allowing you to maybe even dream alittle bigger, imagine a little brighter,
(23:55):
enjoy this profound and really cool experienceof being human, being that spirit
in human form, And imagine thatyou can draw that gold sparkly energy into
your brainstem, your breathing center.Imagine that you can bring that gold sparkly
(24:21):
energy down your spinal cord itself andallow that gold sparkly energy to travel out
all of the nerve roots, thoselittle tiny nerves that go to every one
of your seventy trillion cells, healingyour very central nervous system, the first
(24:47):
part of the human form that iscreated after conception, and thereby updating and
healing all the parts of you.In addition to having a pain free head,
(25:07):
cranium brain, you've given it ahealing, a refresh. Maybe now
instead of ten percent function, maybeyou experience twelve percent access to all the
magnificence the human brain. As youallow yourself to have this healing from the
(25:33):
top down and inside out, imaginingand allowing yourself to imagine that you can
have this healing. There's a spontaneoushealing for every condition known to man.
Why not you? Why not here? Why not now? As you take
(25:56):
another deep breath in drawing that goldsparkly energy into all parts of you,
giving yourself an update or refresh,restoring your body, your brain, your
psyche to better than new. Andso it is as you allow yourself to
(26:18):
just lay in your bubble, yourenergy field, enjoying this healing, appreciating
how powerful you are. Energy can'tbe created or destroyed, but it sure
can be transformed. As you allowyourself to transform yourself, heal your body
(26:41):
and your brain of these migraines,also allowing your body to heal from the
triggers of those migraines, allowing yourbody to be impervious. If you so
choose whatever's perfect for you, weare not meant to struggle. As you
(27:07):
allow your body to heal and havethis healing. Imagine what you can do
with this newfound strength, with thisnew found skill allowing your body to heal
itself, heal you, heal yourvessel, and know that this healing will
(27:33):
continue to grow and evolve in theminutes, in the days, and the
weeks and months, and will continueto heal more and more. The more
you listen to this, the moreyou practice, the more you step into
the light. In a moment,we'll come back to the room and enjoy

our healing. In one, maybeyou wiggle your fingers or toes. Two,
maybe you shift your limbs a littlebit more. Three taking a deeper
