Tides this morning are pushing a moderate high around 9:30 AM, with the next low near 3:45 PM—perfect timing for a dawn or dusk run.

Tarpon action is still a highlight, with plenty of fish in the backcountry and around the usual haunts. According to the latest reports from Islamorada Tarpon Fishing, the bite’s been solid this past week, with anglers landing some smaller tarpon in the 15-30 pound range. Don’t be surprised if you get a few that jump off the hook right at the boat—these silver kings are feisty and not always picture-perfect!
