Speaker 1 (00:26):
Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of It be like
that and I'm here by myself today co host Soulis Patrick.
I should say, and it might be noisy today, I'm
not in the normal recording studio, say, quote unquote, I

(00:49):
should say, quote unquote music studio or recording studio with
Brian and I am also doing this downstairs right now,
and the windows open, and it's a little noisy, and
it is what it is. But you'll can't you guys
can deal with it for one episode. Uh So, Brian
is up in Aftershock this weekend for four days. He's

(01:12):
been there since Thursday, and normally I go with him.
I haven't gone the last couple of years between sicknesses
I had like COVID one year, I got hurt my
back one year. So I haven't been in a couple
of years. This year, money wise, I just didn't want
to do it this year. There were some great bands

(01:33):
and it would have been a really, really great show,
but I just didn't. I didn't have the extra money.
Well I could have. I could have swung it, but
then there's a difference between swinging it and having you know,
some extra uh you know, being responsible as an adult
and I decided to be more adultish this year, uh

(01:54):
than then go so, but it got a few things
to talk about. Oh that's when I was gonna. I
was looking at something to bring something up and before
I started, and I couldn't and I went completely blank
on what it was. And then it just clicked on
my in my head, which is the pick coms for
this week? Week week five already? Yeah, week five. So

(02:19):
let me pull up mister Bryan's because he sent them
to me. He because you know, obviously he knew he
wasn't gonna be here, So let me bring that up.
And I should have had this prepared. I apologize, but
my mind just went blank. And I'll get into you
that too, about why what's been going on with me
lately and here in a second. But let's go over,

(02:40):
uh the picks real quick for week five. Okay, so
we have already had the Thursday night game, and uh,
of course, you know, he picked the Niners. I picked
the Rams and the Rams lost unfortunately by three points.
Not into that. That pisses me off a little bit.

(03:01):
I really wanted that pick. I figured the Rams should
have won that game, and between a fumble and I'm
not to take anything away from from the Niners. You know,
they're hurt, they still played like, they still played good
and Mac Jones, I have to give that guy some respect.
He was cramping up really bad. He was like pounding

(03:23):
bananas on the sideline. He was you know, I'm surprised
they didn't just honestly hook him up to an IV
because this gave him some fluids. But he was at
the end of the game. You just saw him. He
was just in pain. But he played through and and
and got the they got to win. And yeah, that's
just insane. I got. I gotta give some love to
him for that, some respect for playing through that ship. Okay,

(03:46):
so let's keep going though. So you have Minnesota heading
into Cleveland, or if you say the Vikings head into
the Browns, we're both going with Minnesota. You have the
heading down into in Annapolis to play the Colts, and
he is going with the Colts. Of course. I am
going with my Raiders. I gotta go with my Raiders.

(04:08):
And I'm a realist on this. Okay, We're gonna talk
a little Raiders after this. There's no there's no this
is football talk in general, and there's no, Brian to
stopped me from talking to a bunch of bunch of Raiders.
So deal with it, Brian. Then you have the New
York Giants heading into play the Saints. I'm going with

(04:28):
the Giants, and so is mister Brian. Next you have
Dallas heading into New York to play the Jets. I'm
going with Dallas. He's also going with Dallas. But I
also can see this be an upset game with the Jets.
It wouldn't surprise me. Next you have the Broncos heading
into Philadelphia to play the Eagles. Brian's going with the Eagles.

(04:51):
I am going for an upset and going with the Broncos.
I don't want to see the Broncos waiting there in
my division, but I got a little bit of a
gut feeling on that one, and I'm gonna run with it. Next,
you have Miami Dolphins heading into play the Carolina Panthers.
We're both going with Miami. You have the Texans heading

(05:14):
in to play the Ravens. I'm going with Baltimore, so
is uh Brian. Baltimore has been looking like shit this year,
and I mean like they're playing in games, but they're
losing and Houston just gotta win last week with some momentum.
But I think this, I just I gotta go with
Baltimore on this one, especially being in Baltimore. If it
was it was in Houston, I might have gone with

(05:36):
Houston the way, uh the way, the way the Ravens
have been playing. Next year, Tennessee going in the Titans
to play the Arizona Cardinals. We are both going with
the Cardinals. Tennessee. I think Tennessee, excuse me, Tennessee and
New Orleans, you're gonna be playing each other for who's

(05:56):
gonna get the number one pick this year. It's gonna
be between the Saints and the the the Tennessee Titans,
I think. You know, unless something can drastically changes. You
have Tampa Bay head Buccaneers heading into play Seattle Seahawks.
We are both going with Tampa Bay on that. I
feel like, I know that Seattle is favored by a

(06:18):
little bit, but look how great Tampa Bay's been playing,
you know what I mean? Like, I don't I think
Tampa Bay's gonna get that one, even as good as
Seattle's been playing. I just have a feeling on that one.
Detroit going into play Cincinnati once again. This could be
a trap game, but I'm going with Denver, and Denver

(06:38):
Jesus with Detroit, and so is Brian. Next you have
the Washington Redskins heading into LA to play the Chargers,
and I see I'm doing so bad and pick them.
I'm taking some wild card plays, okay, and one of
them is I'm taking the Redskins. I know they've been
hurt and a lot going on, but honestly, with the Chargers,

(07:03):
the Chargers always start off hot and then end up
ass because all the Chargers are ass. Herbert, I still say,
is not as good as everybody thinks he is. I
gotta say that hardball will get him playing better, but
I still don't think he's the ship that everybody thinks
he is. Personally, that's my opinion, and I'm allowed to
have it, so we'll see what happens. It's not just

(07:23):
because I'm a Raider fan and there my division, but
I'm gonna go with the Redskins for the upset. Next,
you have New England heading into Oh my phone just
closed on me, so bitch hold on, let me open
that back up. New England headed into Buffalo. Okay, once again,

(07:43):
this could be a trap game. But I don't see
New England at all beating Buffalo, and neither does Brian.
We both picked a Buffalo Bills. And then you have
Kansas City Chiefs going in to play Jacksonville, and surprisingly
we both picked Jacksonville. I know I was picking it
because I have a feeling on that one too, and

(08:03):
I'm surprised Brian's going with Jacksonville. So since we're talking
about football, let's talk a little Raiders football. Okay, Gino.
The moment we announced him in our quarterback, I was pissed.
I don't think he was the answer. Then they given
him an extension with for it was three years something,

(08:25):
blah blah blah, a million dollars. Why he hasn't even
thrown one football for the Raiders yet, Why are we
giving him an extension? But we did, and now look
at how he's playing, I will give him a pass
for I gotta give him a little bit of a pass.
For the Redskins game, we did not block for shit.
And I said that on the last episode we did

(08:47):
with about the pickums and everything. I said that, I said,
I go the offensive line could have blocked a JV
High school team, and I still believe that the way
they played, they put powers back in the lineup, and
you can see drastically a change that in their play. Okay,
I I can give a little bit of a passer

(09:09):
Gino for that. He snaps the ball two steps, takes
about a step or two and he's already getting grabbed
or rushed. I can't blame him for necessarily for that one.
But the rest of the game play. He's already five
games in, five games in, and he's leading the NFL
in interceptions and it's not oh well, you know, it's

(09:31):
five season games in and there's no he's leading the
league with two interceptions, you know what I mean? Like,
no one's really thrown that many interceptions or has you know, No,
he has seven Okay, two games he's had three interceptions.
We lost to the fucking Chicago Bears. Bro they suck.

(09:53):
Caleb Williams, I think sucks personally. That'll prove me wrong, fine, whatever,
but I think he sucks. I don't think he's gonna
be that great, and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But
but the Bears in general are not a good team
right now, and our defense kept us in that game.
Fucking match. Crosby got his first interception in his career

(10:17):
against the against them, Gentry went off three touchdowns, broke
for a sixty four yard touchdown. I mean he had
like one hundred and something plus yards. I mean he
had a hell of a game. But we lost. We
how did we lose? Oh? Gino Smith throwing three fucking
interceptions and keeping them in the game and beating us.

(10:39):
I just I said it, like I'm tired of getting
these journeyman quarterbacks we had. We were doing that before Car.
We had Car for ninety years and then now we're
right back to getting Okay, Car left three fucking years ago. Okay,
think about this, actually death, this will be the third
year because he had mcfuck face who benched him in

(11:05):
the last two games. Then we had a partial year
with UH. So we'll say the first full year was
the was with UH with when AP took over a
P's year, and now this year, so this is gonna
be like the third third year. Okay, since Carr got benched.

(11:29):
Let's let's join me in county. The quarterbacks that have
played for the Raiders statum, Jimmy g Aidan O'Connell, he's
a backup and he's still on the team, but he's
still he's still another one that played got Staateum Jimmy
g eight An O'Connell uh Riddle, I think his name

(11:53):
was something riddle. He was a backup too, that had
to come in Minshew. Now Gino. Six quarterbacks, six fucking
quarterbacks since they they got rid of car in two

(12:14):
and a half well not even not even a full
three years really, because you have one full year. Yeah,
when McDaniel's second year they got fired and AP took
over a piece full year and now this year with
Pete Carroll, so we'll say two and a quarter two

(12:34):
and a quarter years, not even a quarter really, like
I said, seventy five games. But like end of the
season into this season, we've had six fucking quarterbacks and
they've beench his ass and they bring in a picket
that'll be seven since they got rid of car It's

(12:54):
just insane to me, you know, Like I said, I
think AOC can do the job and he can grow.
And if you don't think so, fine, let's let's let's
draft a quarterback, get him in there and get going.
Gino is not the answer. I knew he wasn't the answer,
and it just it's we have to there's a lot

(13:18):
we needed we need to do. We still need to
work on stuff on defense too, And I get that.
And I wasn't expecting, Oh, Pete Carrosehill, super Bowl, We're there. No,
I never thought that at all. We need a fucking
quarterback and we need to get someone in there stable,
and who's gonna be there for a while, not not.
These journals are like a rookie guy that can grow
like we did with Car, because look at prior to Car.

(13:39):
Look how I don't even want to start naming off
all the quarterbacks we've had after like rich Gannon left
all the you know, I could you just there's a
long list of quarterbacks before we got a stable quarterback
in there and we get rid of the Car, and
now we're already within two years, two two and in
a quarter years out side of Car and have had

(14:02):
a six quarterback start for the Raiders. It's just it's
it's sad, it's pathetic, and like I said, we keep
bringing in these journeyman quarterbacks for what for what? Jimmy
g was Garoppolo was never the answer at all. I
don't understand why anybody thinks he's any good at all.

(14:22):
He's not. That's why he's been a backup his whole career.
He went to the Niners as he couldn't even basically
finish a full seasoncause he kept getting hurt. I wouldn't
even call him a really a real starter there either.
And then he they got they go to the super Bowl.
He went to the Super Bowl. No, No, he got hurt.
The backup gone to the playoffs. Then in the playoffs
he didn't throw one effing touchdown pass. And then when

(14:43):
he had a wide open Deebo Samuels overthrows them. They
could have won. That could have been the I don't
want to go there. Whatever, I'm not a nine fans.
I don't give a shit. Then he comes over here
doesn't do ship, which I knew he wouldn't. Minchew comes in. Oh,
everybody's excited. Mintch you for what doesn't do ship? And
now we have Geno who doesn't do ship. It's just

(15:11):
I don't know. It's very annoying as a Raider fan.
It's funny because Josh on the PTAO Unlimited podcast shout
out to them, I was talking about uh uh, I
put a post about you know, oh, you know, touchdown
Raiders or something like that, and the next the next

(15:31):
posts interception Raiders or something. He's like, Man, yeah, you
go back, Peter a Raider fan. You go back and forth. Oh,
it's not for the week at heart. That's how it is.
You get the quick high and then you get the
you get reminded of the quick low very fast. And
you know, I wouldn't have any I wouldn't I wouldn't
trade it in for to be a fan of some
other teams. I'm with my team Forever Raiders. Let's go.

(15:53):
That's it's just part of it. It's not for the week,
Peter a Raider fan is not for the week. I
can tell you that right now. But yeah, so it
just pisses me off with this ship with him. Uh
And and you know a lot of people don't want
to see Kenny picking in there either. I would, you know,
I'm pissed that AOC's hurt because I would love for
him to be in there doing his thing. But I

(16:15):
just I don't know. It still boggles my mind these
decisions that we make. Guy has it thrown one ball
one ball for the Raiders, and they give him. It
was like a three year extension and blah blah ball
extra amount of money. I don't remember exactly the exact
exact deal, and you know, for what and he's all,

(16:38):
She's sure the hell proven it right there. Look at
how he's playing like ass. Anyways, so let's see what
happens this weekend. We uh, the Raiders are going out
to Indianapolis to play. And it's like the third year
in a row. I think that we've been playing, and
we played the Colts and it's been in Indianapolis. It
doesn't make any sense to me why we keep going

(16:58):
out there. But whatever, we'll see what happens. And they're
they're they're playing good. Honestly, they should be undefeated right now. Uh,
what's the fucking one receiver hadn't tried to showboat with
the ball and lost it and gave it, gave the
ball up in the end zone for a touchback like
a moron. But it's gonna be a tough game. It's

(17:19):
gonna be a tough game, and we'll, I guess we'll
see what happens with with Geno Smith. But yeah, so
one thing that happened last week is Xbox decided they're
gonna raise their game Pass pricing, and it went from
being like nineteen ninety nine a month to twenty nine

(17:42):
ninety nine a month, and people are pissed, and I
very well so. In fact, it was such a big
thing that the website got flooded and crashed with people
trying to cancel their subscription. So it makes me one,
it makes me kind of wonder what Xbox is gonna

(18:02):
do to respond to that. Uh, you know, I mean,
maybe they'll see that and try to maybe they'll drop
it back down, maybe they'll lower it a little bit.
I don't know, but I mean, they just lost a
shitload of subscribers and and I regranted they did add
a bunch of games to Xbox Live or Xbox Live

(18:26):
Game Pass. Let me see here, let me see, OK.
I can pull that up real quick. I should have
that ready because I didn't look at the pricing. But
it's funny too though. That's something I saw, let's see
recently added. I did hear though that even if you
have the basic, the basic, the basic one, which is

(18:50):
ten dollars a month, you can't you can't. You don't
have online multiplayer. You would have to at least have
the premium, which is fourteen ninety nine. So I'm looking
at this the essential it's ten bucks a month. See this,
This is some shit that PlayStation did and I don't
know why Xbox is following it. You get fifty plus
games on Xbox PC supported devices, stream games, including selective

(19:16):
games you already own online. Oh you do get online
console multiplayer. You do get that. I'm sorry, I read
that wrong. Play and earn up to twenty five dollars
a year in store with rewards benefits the games you
benefits for the games like League Legends and Call of
Duty war Zone. So the premium is fourteen ninety nine.

(19:38):
You get two hundred plus games new Xbox published games
during the library within twelve months of launch. So the
ones that like that, they keep advertising there's gonna be
on Xbox Live Game Pass. You have to wait at
least a year before you can play them. Stream games
with short shorter weight times, including select games you own.

(20:01):
Play earn up to fifty dollars a year. Uh, he
benefits in online console multiplayer. So those are like obviously
the same as the other one. So something's to transfer
over Ultimate twenty nine nine nine A month, you get
five hundred plus games on your Xbox console PC new games. Uh, well,
you get new game on day one, including new new

(20:21):
published Xbox Xbox, plotish games and third party games include
EA Play and Ubi Soft plus Classics, Fortnite New coming,
Fortnite Crew coming in November. Whatever the fuck that is?
Stream games the best quality and the shortest wait times.
Like I don't get that part of it though, like

(20:43):
stream the games with shorter wait times? Like what why?
What does that matter? Like that that should be for
all of it, Like it doesn't make sense, Like, oh,
well you have Ultimate, so you can. You can? You
have less wight time than this pleabe who has Essential
Like that just doesn't make sense to me. And all
why you know, uh playing earn up one hundred dollars
and then benefits blah blah blah blah that same old ship.

(21:06):
So what do you mean it's blocked? So let me
see here, let me Xbox Xbox games on game Pass.

(21:26):
All right, so I need you need to be I
am signed in, bitch, I guess I'm not signed in.
Hold on, I'm signing in right now. I thought I
had all this sign in already. Okay, but yeah, so

(21:46):
I mean it's just like but like that whole Weighttime
thing that is dumb. I think that is really dumb,
that whole Waytime ship, Like why what what? What should
that matter? Really? You know? So I know they added
one thing, Okay, one thing I can say I'm excited
about that they just added is the Hogwarts Legacy because

(22:08):
that's the game, like I was interested in checking out
and playing, but I was not enough to pay full
price for it, and they have it on there, so
that's cool. Far cry Blood Dragon, okay, a new Monopoly
game to new Monopoly games, odd Ballers. It's like like
an indie game. Prince of Persia, Rabbity, Rabbity's Rabbits, Party

(22:33):
of Legends, Scott Pilgrim Complete Collection. Who know's some other
ones here. I'm trying to what most popular. I want
the new ones because they just put a bunch on there.

(22:53):
They just added a bunch after they did that, this
whole ultimate thing. So I'm trying to I'm trying to
see see because I'm I'm not on my Xbox right now,
otherwise I'd be able to see it better. I'm trying to.
I'm looking at this from the explore more yeah, I know.

(23:17):
I know. I saw that they added a bunch of
let's see Skull and bonescause I heard that game crashed
or was crap, a bunch of Assassin Creed games, the
Stick of Truth, which would be fun. I'd be fun
to go through again, Watchdogs, Far Cry three, the Division
Rainbow six game. You know, there's some more of them,

(23:39):
just kind of overlooking. You know, I saw that they
added a shitload of sassage screed games on there, so
you know, like I said, it's they added a bunch
of stuff on there, but I don't know if they
can justify that pricing that they did, and like I said,
it affected a lot of people. A lot of people
got pissed off and cancel the shit like PlayStation. I

(24:01):
hate it when PlayStation did that. Oh you have the
Essentials plus and Premium, and the pricing for that's insane too,
because like there's games on there that I would love
to play, but I don't play my PlayStation enough to
play it to justify it like I play Xbox. And
that's why I might be more willing to do more
shit on Game Pass Ultimate than I would for PlayStation,

(24:24):
because you know, like I said, it's it's uh more
worth it for me because I don't use what I love.
I love my PlayStation, I love playing it. I'm playing.
I'm actually I got a game I'm playing right now,
which I was gonna talk about a little bit. But
it doesn't make sense for me to have to pay
that extra subscription for PlayStation like it would be for

(24:45):
me for Xbox. So I don't. I guess we'll see
what happens. I mean, here's the thing. And I said
this when the Nintendo two or switch to came out,
and they and I said this when the Borderlands and
some of these other games we're talking about, you know,
jacking up the price. Everybody's bitching about it, but if
you have, don't. If you don't buy it, they lose

(25:06):
profits and then they will learn their lessons. But the
problem is that we all keep buying shit. We are
buying the Nintendo switches, We're buying the games that are
with the crazy ass pricing, and so that's where they're like, well,
these idiots are gonna keep paying it, so we might
as well keep doing it. You know, if everybody had
made a stand and just said I'm not buying that

(25:29):
Nintendo Switch too, what what what what what would a
Nintendo do? Well, no one's buying it because it's ridiculous
pricing and and or you know, or if we want,
if they want to buy that game, it's gonna cost
them almost one hundred bucks for a game that I
don't see a lot of people talking about it anymore,
that Mario cart World or wherever the hell it is,

(25:52):
the Mario Kart game. I know that mister all had
fun on it, and he played it for a little bit,
and I saw some other people streaming it when it
first came out, but all of a sudden it was
just nothing. No one's talking about it no more. So
was it really worth that kind of money? I don't
think so. And that's what I'm saying is like if
if people quit, if their sales would have been in
the trash can, they would have lowered that price. But

(26:15):
the tri many fanboys that want to jump on it,
or or the people that buy them all up because
they're gonna you know, oh, well I got all this
and you weren't able to get it, And guess what,
you're gonna want to get it for your kid for
Christmas or their birthday. So now I'm gonna charge you
double the pricing. That's why I feel like unless it's
a store like say game stop or a used like
a retro store that are selling used consoles, it should

(26:37):
be illegal to sell consoles online because that's what people
are gonna do. They're gonna scalp all that shit. If
it stops the scalpers, you see how many more people
are able to afford shit and get shipped, you know
what I mean, or not afford it, but get it.
You know, all these people that go out and buy
a shitload of them and then go and resell them
on the market is bullshit and I don't I don't

(26:58):
think that that should be They need to put a
stop to that. In my opinion, they need to put
a stop to that. And that's how you do it.
If you're a license retailer retelling aftermarket thing or you know,
like or like I say, they a game stop or
a retro use video game store, then that's one thing.
But just to buy well, I bought it now you

(27:18):
can find me on crazis. It was a it's a
four hundred dollars system, but I'm gonna sell to you
for a thousand because I know you want it and
no one else can get it, you know what I mean.
But if they cut that down and stop it, then
I don't know. That's just in my head. There's just
certain things that should not just be out to the public,
and I think that's one of them. Same thing with

(27:39):
concert tickets unless it's a legal like a a reselling
place that I just feel like they need to figure
out something for concerts because people buy shitload of concert
tickets and then retell for ridiculous pricing and it's dumb
and they just got to come up with a better
system with it. In my eyes, I don't know. My

(28:01):
brain is not in the thought processing as you can tell.
And normally I have Brian to bounce off of me.
I see his thoughts and ideas, and this is why
it's a co host podcast, not just a solo podcast.
But you're kind of getting the point of what I'm
trying to make here. You're getting the point that I'm
trying to make, so I hope. So anyways, So anyways,
I was talking about video games before I move on

(28:26):
to my last thing. Probably one game I'm playing right
now is Silent Hill F and I haven't been playing
that online I've been playing that offline and I'm having
fun with it. And I was talking about this on
my stream this morning when on my twitch stream this morning,
and is it fun game yes? Is it a good

(28:49):
story yes? Is it a horror game yes? Is it
Simon Hill No, that's my opinion. I'm enjoying the game.
I'm having fun with the I can't wait to get
further in the game. But they between the combat change
and I know people always say, you can't just keep
having the same thing as stagnant. No, if a fan

(29:10):
of the game is a fan of a game, they
don't care. It's it's how they play the game. I
understand about making changes or trying to maybe improve something
is one thing. But when you go from a regular
game of a regular style of how you play Silent
Hill and then now this one is more like a
soul's game where you have to And I don't mind
playing those type of games, but if I, if I
purposely go to play that type of game like that,

(29:31):
I'm expecting that not when I play Sion Hill, but
where the combat I swing it, I'm gonna get tired
or if I dodge, is gonna use my stamina and
I'm gonna get tired. It's that's not what sid Hill
games have been. And I get it. It's something new,
and I know it's because and I always go blank
on the name, but the creative Silent Hill isn't there
no more with Konami, you know, So it's kind of like, uh,

(29:54):
I think they're just making their own thing and throwing
the Silent Hill name on it, you know, And that's
basically it, because they're trying to they're trying to differ
themselves from what the previous Signed Hill games were. And
I think I don't know that for a fact. Maybe
there's something later on that it's gonna happen in the
game that's connected to the side Hill games that or

(30:18):
you know Hill the actual place and how what that
was all about. Maybe maybe not. I don't know. I
haven't finished the game yet. But it's just like I said,
it's it's just a matter of sometimes if you name
something something different, you'll view it differently. Perfect example, Halloween

(30:39):
three season of the Witch, they you know, the whole
and I've I've I've probably talked about this before, but
if you don't know Halloween series, you know, with Michael Myers,
that Halloween. The name Halloween was supposed to be an
anthology series where each it's it's under the Halloween name.
But each movie, like Hallowey one, Halloween two, Halloy three,
they were all going to be about different things. They

(31:02):
weren't all gonna be about Michael Moore Myers. They're all
gonna tell a different story. And each story, each movie
was gonna be about a different thing, you know. And
so but Michael Myers blew up so big they wanted
another one, and they made Halloween two. And then they're like, okay,
so now we're gonna go back to our original plan.
Halloween three, Seasons of the Witch. It's a Halloween movie

(31:23):
that's based, you know, uh in this world of Halloween
that we're creating, but it's not or you know, based
in the sense of, like this the mythology that we're
going to do, but it's not gonna be nothing about
Michael Myers. And then one after this one it's gonna
be something completely different. Blah blah blah blah blah, and
people blew up about it. Where's Michael Myers? We want
Michael Myers, where's this? This is this is a Halloween

(31:46):
and the movie is a good movie. If it was
just called The Season of the Witch, people probably wouldn't
think nothing of it. But because it's had that connection
to Halloween and Michael Myers, people had a problem with it.
And you know that's why Halloween four was Return of
Michael Myers. But like you said, if you look at it,
like if it's just look at it by itself it

(32:06):
was just called The Season of the Witch, you would
look at that movie a lot. People would look at
that movie a lot differently. And I think that's how
I'm looking at it with Silent Hill. Is this is
you know, right away, when I saw the specs for it,
I'm like this, the game looks beautiful, not the specs,
but like the trailers and stuff. The game looks beautiful.
But this doesn't have a look or feel a silent heel,

(32:30):
you know, So I, like I said, I have enjoyed
the game though, and I'm gonna having fun and I'm
gonna I'm gonna keep playing it and I'm gonna see
what the connections is and I'm and I have my
feelings of what's going on, what might be going on
in this game, because there's you don't usually kind of
twists in these games. Excuse me, but you know, so

(32:53):
we'll see what happens. You know, I'm still playing it,
so we'll find out. But I am enjoying the game.
I am really enjoying the game, and I'm having fun.
I just like I said, I'm just a little pissy
about the combat system, and because because here's the other
part of it, it's not perfected. I think, when there's
no block and then sometimes even when you dodge, like

(33:16):
they have this thing that if you do a perfect
dodge kind of thing, she busts out her ultra insect basically,
and like everything slows down and it if you do
a perfect dodge, you're stammina automatically gets reset, but sometimes
it slows you down and then when it comes back
to normal, the enemy's still swinging at you and you
have to dodge again and it kind of throws you
off the what they have in place could be improved, definitely,

(33:40):
and they should have went off of some of these
other games that uses these combat systems to understand it
better in my opinion. But having said that, once again,
we'll see what happens with they They announced that Resident
Evil one is being remaked by the same people who
did Resident Evil to remake and also from when I
stand Resident Evil three, and then what they're gonna do

(34:03):
is then they have a new They're also gonna be
working on a new game at the same time of
Silent Hill. So hopefully that means that this will be
kind of circle back to regular Silent Hill games, because
once again, I'm enjoying this game. Don't feel like it's
a Silent Hill game. I just it's a good horror
game that's not Silent Hill. But like I said, we'll see.
Keep going and we'll see. Maybe there's some kind of

(34:23):
connection or something. I don't know yet. I don't know yet.
If you do, though, don't tell me because I don't
know yet. So finally I'll end this here so you
don't have to keep hearing me ramble and lose my
thoughts and be stupid. There's some other stuff I wanted
to talk about, and I I should. I last night
I was talking thinking about it, and I'm like, you
know what, I should write this down, and so I

(34:44):
don't forget guess what I did. I didn't do it,
and I forgot, So it is what it is. But
one thing I was gonna say about. So the reason
why I kind of was gone from streaming for a
little bit was, like I said, there's some work stuff
going on, some changes, like I'm not threatened to lose
my job or anything to that nature, but just some

(35:08):
stores changing paint lines and and some stores testing out
other paint lines. It's just a lot of stuff that
hit all at once. The month of September felt like
it flew by but went by super slow. I think
I said that about a week recently. Oh a week
felt like the whole month. This whole month really felt

(35:29):
like it went by super super fast but yet super slow.
And if you don't, if you don't understand that, I've
hardly explained unless you lived it. But it makes sense
to me. But I kind of feel like it's after
something that I took care of yesterday. That's Friday can
stay Saturday. I feel like we're kind of on the

(35:52):
downslope of things, and it's in a little bit. I
got some other major stuff I gotta take care of
on Monday. We got to do this new paint line
and I gotta get that all organized. I even told
my warehouse, I just leave all that up. New shit
I'm gonna go through it. I'm gonna separate it, I'm
gonna figure it out, I'm gonna get it on the shelf.
I almost, I honestly, I almost didn't stream today and

(36:13):
I was gonna go into work and just do it. Well,
I didn't have to worry about phone calls or anything.
But I didn't really want to have to do that.
I don't know, I just, uh, yeah, I didn't want
to have to do that. So that's just the other
major thing I gotta take care of. But it was
just stuff like that all month long. It was the
first three weeks of September. I didn't work a full week.

(36:35):
The first week was labor he had labor Day. The
following week, I had that Friday off because I went
to Reno, and that following Monday. On the third week,
I had that Monday off because I was coming back
for Reno. And so like the very first full week
I worked in September felt like it was forever, and
like that's the part that made it felt like super long,
even though it felt short. And but it's just a

(36:59):
lot a lot of just stuff, stress, stuff, And then
you get other people that are on vacation, that should be,
in my opinion, should be there to help out or
should be like helping get things clarified. Then like stuff
shows up at my store. I'm like, what the hell
is this? And I start doing research and I find
out it's for a customer of mind, but no one
said nothing to me about it. So then I got
to figure it out and make sure everything's build right

(37:21):
and all this extra shit, and I get sometimes it's
part of the job, but at the same time, it's like,
if there's stuff going on in my store, I should
be in the loop. I got pissed off because I
had to credit something for a store. I went to
credit it and get it washed in my aped apartment
or AAR department told me, hey, I can't clear that

(37:42):
that's already been credited and washed, and I'm like, wait,
what are you talking about? And I look it up
and someone else did it from another location why I
don't know, and they didn't do it the right way,
so then I had to fix so then it kind
of screwed up my inventory and shit, and then I'm

(38:04):
super pissed and I'm still having a plan on having
a meeting about that with my supervisor, with my boss
who because I run my store. I'm the brand supervisor
at my store. I run that whole store. But then
of course I have people above me, and I'm a
plan on having meeting with him and some other people
in Corbeck because I'm like, I gotta take care of
my inventory and my location and take care of my store.

(38:26):
Then I need to be able to do that, not
anybody outside of my location, especially when it comes to
my inventory. If I get bonuses based off my inventory
correction and all this other stuff, how is someone else
allowed to fuck with my shit? And then then when
something gets screwed up, what's gonna happen. I'm gonna get
blamed for it, and that's not right to me. And

(38:47):
I was really really pissed when that happened, and I
really I still plan on getting fixed. And every time
I try to get that done, there's someone already off
and this is the meeting got canceled or blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah. So it was very very frustrating.
I had all that going on. I had to take
a drink real quick, sorry, and I just needed like
come home, play some games offline and keep my head clear,

(39:12):
because I just was not in the mood to be
on stream anybody hear my niece in the background, uh,
And I was not in the mood to stream and
and and be talkative online and all that other extra shit.
I enjoyed doing it, Like I said, I don't do
it for the fame or money because I know I

(39:32):
know it's not gonna and I know that's not gonna happen.
And you have to stream a shitload and be more
of a personality, and I have a personality, say in
person online sometimes what happens with me, especially if I
get into the game and I find yet about chat
that's happened a bunch of times like oh shit, like
well what's going on chat? Like I just get involved

(39:52):
in the game. That's why sometimes I don't always like
playing story games on on chat or on chat on stream.
I like to play more multiplayer stuff because I can
interact better, you know, less focus on like oh, here's
a story mode, let me watch what's going on in
the story and like, oh yeah, I'm also doing a chat.
But the other thing is, like I said, if I
was younger, maybe I had more of a chance to
do something, and like I don't. I'm not you know,

(40:14):
I'm not upset about that. I just I know it's
it's not a thing that it's you know, what happened,
And I do it for fun. I do it for me.
So if it's gonna get so what I do, do
what I want to do it right. And if it
comes down to the point of me being not in
the mood or not very talkative or being upset, it's like,
I'll just take a little bit of time. And I

(40:35):
took a little bit more time than I wanted to off,
but it is what it is. I even took some
time off off the podcast. I just was just not
in the mood to be in front of a camera.
I was not in the mood to be talking about stuff,
and you know, so it is what it is. So
that's that. Like I said, Brin's it aftershock. I got
a birthday party to go do today and football tomorrow,

(40:55):
