IT_s PARANORMAL TONIGHT _ ROBERT SALAS

On this edition of It's Paranormal Tonight, host Dan Harary will interview Robert Salas, who served on active duty with the U.S. Air Force for seven years from 1964-1971. On the night of March 24, 1967, Bob, a 26-year-old U.S. Air Force lieutenant, was cocooned 20 meters below Malmstrom Air Force base in Montana, overseeing a cluster of ten, Minutemen-1 intercontinental ballistic missiles, which were buried beneath the base. Suddenly, a remarkable and unexplained force abruptly disabled the missiles’ guidance and control systems, something that had never happened before. A security officer on the surface made a series of increasingly frenzied phone calls to Bob, describing an oval-shaped UFO with pulsating, glowing, orange-red lights hovering over the installation. The silent object was making unusual, controlled maneuvers, such as flying very fast, coming to a dead stop, then reversing course and making ninety-degree turns. After the incident passed, Bob was instructed that he could never speak of the incident again, as it was now classified. After leaving the Air Force in 1971, Bob briefly worked as an engineer for Martin-Marietta Aerospace and Rockwell International, and then, from 1974 until his retirement in 1995, worked for the FAA as an aircraft structures engineer. Bob testified at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure in Washington, DC, in 2013, discussing how UFO’s have the ability to tamper with U.S. nuclear weapons. He is the author of three books on the UFO phenomenon: Faded Giant (2005); Unidentified - The UFO Phenomenon (2015); and UAPS and the Nuclear Puzzle (2023.) Since 1996, Bob has been speaking around the world about his 1967 UFO/Missile shutdown experience.
