I want to be what he wants, when he wants it,
and whenever he needs it. How when feeling love start,
I'll be there to feed he. I loveing him a
little bit more each day. Turn it right on when
I hear him.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Say, hey baby, let's get away. Let's go somewhere far
baby where I don't care. Well ha ha ha ha

Whoa whoa whoa fuck whoa.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Whoa whoa Yeah, everybody, welcome back to the blackest show
(01:55):
about Nothing. It's Jada x D. You know, world over
here just texting war plans to each other.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
God my lie, Yo, what the fuck, nigga? I don't
even yo.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
I know somebody who is listening, right, They're like, this
is not funny. You are absolutely the fuck right, bitch.
It's preposterous. It's crazy town, Nigga, Like this is insanity
and we are stark in the middle of it.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
I remember that scene in What Not The Good Wife?
What's the other one?
Speaker 3 (02:35):
The Good Fight, where Christine Baranski is on the phone
and she's trying to get to the office and it's
mayhem going on. It's going on around her, and she's like,
come get me. This is us right now. We're like,
this is crazy, but I gotta get to work, my nigga. So, yeah,
(02:56):
I need.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
A new car.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
They're like, hello, if five percent increase on vehicles and
I'm like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Let's get away, Let's go somewhere.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Ah. Well, we got a little bit of news this
week before we get into what we get into your right.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh, there's so many things. There's news, there's there's updates,
there's all kinds of stuff. So with the news in particular,
what I do want you all to just pay attention
to and go, you know, do a little bit more
digging into is the current genocide that's still ongoing, not
only in Gosliba, also Yemen.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
They are bombing Yemen.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
We got we got war, we got via text message, and.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
I mean like they're like relentless with it. And then
on top of that, they are blocking. I know we
keep saying this, but like they are. It's the ram up,
the blockage, if you can even believe it, on the
medical aid, the food and just anything that can sustain
life in Gaza, they are blocking it. They do not
(04:12):
want them to be and that is terrifying. And you know,
there's resilience and resistance and all kinds of things, but
this is frightening.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
And then on.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Top of that, they are slipping up text chains from
the WhatsApp about the plans. They're like, guess what we're
doing to night Nigga, Like we write at dawn, like
what are you? What the fuck kind of sloppy shit.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Are y'all on?
Speaker 3 (04:35):
So then yeah, so yes, there's that, so please you know,
we're getting updates from Bisam, still on the ground in Gaza,
is giving current updates when she does not have internet service.
She is typing updates to keep us informed. And remember
that journalism in Gaza right now is is like a target.
(04:59):
They do not want the information out there, even though
we've been watching it for almost two years. I don't
know who else needs proof, but this is what's going on.
And then uh, but in in in a in a
bit of light news or you know, with a still
ongoing fight. Khartum and Sudan is no longer under our
(05:21):
SF control, which if you've been reading based off of
some of the things I've said, the RSF has been
reigning extreme terror in multiple ways on the civilians of Sudan,
from raping, to to to looting, to killing, to killing livestock,
(05:43):
to rating, rating markets, to just desecrating the community in
the in the in the name of selfish greed, et cetera.
But Khartoum is no longer under our SF control, which
is a step in the right direction, but it is
just a step. It is not the end. And so
please continue to keep your eyes on what's going on
(06:03):
in Sudan. But that is, like I said, a step
in the right direction. And that is that is the
bit of hope that we need. That is when we hear,
when we hear glimmers of hope, we need to have that.
And so, yeah, I just wanted to make sure that
we continue to pay attention to what's happening globally as
well as on our land, because again, all connected based
(06:24):
off of this fucking WhatsApp chain y'all saw anyway.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Yeah, yeah, how is your week?
Speaker 2 (06:36):
M It was eventful. It was an eventful week.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
First and foremost, thank you to everybody who has been
purchasing tickets to to Sunday on a Monday. You know,
I'm like, niggas want to come out on a Monday
for me, that's crazy. I'm so grateful. We are almost
sold out. There are only a few tickets left. As
if we are recording this, I don't know what this
is going to look like, and you know, and whenever
(07:03):
this comes out, but as of right now, we just
have a few tickets left and we're on our way
so that I can.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Feed you all real real good.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Speaking of feeding really good, let me see should I
share this first or should should I get you I'll
come back with other updates. So anyway, I flew back
this morning as we are recording this episode from Cleveland
Community Okay, as I keep preaching, okay, community is not
(07:33):
just who's right in front of us.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
So flew back this morning.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
I was in Cleveland, Ohio with Campaign Zero along with
many other amazing volunteers.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
We all came together.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Shout out to Deray and Campaign zero, Shout out to Jaren,
Shout out to everybody who had a part in organizing this.
We went to the Coyahoga Juvenile Detention Center in Cleveland
for spring break to spend I didn't to spend the week,
so it was a week organized, but volunteers did different days.
(08:07):
So I did two days and others. Some people did
the full week, some people did three days one day.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
People did what they could.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
But there was multiple workshops at the Juvenile Detention Center
during spring break so that the youth them had programming
and activities. You know what I'm saying, which is what
they deserve. You know, no matter what the circumstances are,
our youth deserved to continue to be curious. They deserve
(08:34):
to continue to utilize their brains and their talents and
their creativity and their and their tension and so so
many things in different ways, okay, And so so they
pulled together a bunch of different volunteers with different backgrounds
to do different workshops. So we had Angel from the
Spice Suite did a workshop. Hassan Minaje came and did
(08:57):
something with the kids. We had somebody come who did
painting canvases with the kids.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
They did.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
You know, you had a photographer and director who showed
them how she sets up how she sets up her
photo shoots, like how she plans them, and then essentially
had them do that with magazine clippings and like then
it kind of turned into vision boards and then.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
There was so many different ones. And then I did podcasting.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
But the podcasting you know, how to kind of create
your own podcasting, But it was dope because it ended
up being much bigger than that, and we really got
to thinking about a topic and then really breaking that
down into how you can really fully form that topic.
And so that helped them to like put intention into
their thoughts. It led to a bunch of amazing conversations.
(09:51):
When I tell you I had such a connection with
those boys, the other volunteers were like, yo.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
At one point, they put.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Me in a class room by accident, and then they
were like, oh, you already had this class, so we're
gonna have to take you to another one and we're
gonna swap you out. And when the other young men
came in the kid the boys were like, no, man,
come on, no, we want Jay back, like stop, And
I was like, look, I love y'all, but I gotta go,
and you make sure you respect him.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Do you hear me, you don't be out here with
no bullshit. Listen to what he had society.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
So they like, I had a you know, we had
some good conversation. I did a whole lesson on reframing female.
You know what I'm saying, female like nigga, the way female.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Was pep pep, peep pew.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
And I was like, so every time I'd be like female,
what snakes, turtles, cats, dogs, they'd be like women, miss
women ja.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
I'm like, okay, And I reframe him in that. We
talked about misogyny. I told you I taught them about genocide.
I talked him about Palestine. I talked them about how
their struggles are connected to world struggles. You know, they
might come up with a topic like basketball, and then
it turned into a whole conversation about how they're not
(11:06):
that good at basketball, but basketball is their outlet or
they're released for this, and one talked about his insecurity.
Like it was amazing conversations that we had. And the
title of this episode is a promise that I made
to one of the pods. I was like, I will
call this episode free Poe B because they said I
(11:29):
was like four B was the pod, and so they
was like, Jay, you got free Poux B. And I
was like, all right, that's what it is. So in
honor of one of my pods, this episode is called
free Poe B. So I will show y'all pictures and
stuff when they come. I don't usually do the pictures
of the volunteer stuff, but this was like, I feel
(11:50):
good and I can't wait to go back and do this,
and I want other people to do this, and you
know what I'm saying, I want them to be highlighted,
and like I just I really am. I feel so
full from the experience. So yeah, I feel very full
from me and the ut them connected. And apparently some
of the other volunteers will walk in and they'd be like,
(12:11):
are you scared?
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I walked in.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Every time I'd be like, good morning.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
I get many of them back good morning, because like
I'm Jake, I'm here, I'm visiting from Brooklyn. I am
We're gonna talk about podcasting, but before we get into that,
I'd be like, I want your names and your science
and they were like, oh, what kind of some type
of time is a spitual?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
So I guess what.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Every one of them little niggas was happy to highlight
their science.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
They'd be like DeMarcus, I'm an aquarius.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
And we'd have a whole conversation and it was a
great icebreaker. And it was a really really awesome experience.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Yeah, that was your week.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
That's awesome. It was good. Actually it was Chris Rogers's birthday,
and so you know he's entering you know, well he's
(13:19):
already thirty plus, he's thirty plus for real, for real,
he is. And so we've decided, you know, in our relationship,
we've decided to not exchange the gifts, but like provide experiences. Yes, right,
And so we had a staycation in Beverly Hills and
(13:39):
it was nice. It was nice to explore white Los
Angeles in a in a way that we haven't you know,
roaming around like we were smoking on doheany you know
what I mean. Like it was a nice it was
a nice time. You know. Yeah, also, uh I hung out. Well.
(14:02):
First of all, congratulations to doctor John Poupy. Yeah, go
pick it up. They're not going to tell you where
to buy it because they're you know, they want to
make sure it's accessible to everybody. But there's a link
in our link tree where you can go buy it.
It's right here. They had a really wonderful talk opening
(14:28):
at the Plus Bus. I think that's what it's called.
It's a really cool shot is a for plus size
people this boutique, and I think there's like consignment and
also new things, like it's really cool stuff that they
got in there. But super proud of John. Yeah, it
(14:49):
was a good turnout. Also, shout out to shar for
hosting Glad Honors last night.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Let me tell you something her, you'd be out here working, Yeah, okay,
you'd be out here work.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was. It was. It was a
good time. I will say I do have a quick
story about food. So, you know, afterwards, after the after
(15:23):
the book thing, Jiminika, Chris Rogers and we all know Jiminia.
So she got a new car, Queen.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
I'm glad you got it before the tarort sister.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Yeah. She named her car Jane Fonda because it's strong
and white.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Okay, She's like, I'm pulling up right now, knowing Jane's
on the.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, now I'm Fonda did not.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yeah, So we went into we end up going to
this burger restaurant that only sold burgers and fries. And
I should have known that there was something wrong up front,
because here's my thing. If you're if you're only going
to sell burgers and fries, it'd be the best best
(16:15):
burgers or fries ever. And then but I happened to
look at like their case of where they had drinks.
They had one Mexican coke and scores and scores of
diet coke. And I was like, oh, I know what
type of establishment this is. But we were already too
far gone into the establishment, right okay? Like Jay, when
(16:39):
I tell you the menu, literally it was like the
big like nineteen fifties whatever, and it was just stark white.
It just said cheeseburgers or fries, like just right here.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Again, the best cheeseburgers and fries food.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Yeah, I'm thinking it's about to be like the best
things since Jesus or whatever. We all take a bite,
and we all say, and here's my great Like, if
you're going to be a restaurant that is so bolded
audacious to have brick and mortar that sells only one thing,
(17:24):
like you have, like that's like real like dick on
the table, like you know what I mean? Like you
like you are like, I'm bold enough to pay Los
Angeles Commerce rent, yeah, to keep this open.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Yeah, I'm confident enough and my abilities to make this
one thing that I'm going to open a brick and morter. Okay,
lost age just commerce, yes, because my that's just world
fucking famous.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Exactly. And I didn't get that, and I was I
was very just support it.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
What's it called?
Speaker 1 (18:03):
I can't. I can't even I don't even recall what
the place was called. I'd have to go look at
my bank account statement to look at the thing. I
bet you was a front because you know what it
also that that area of Los Angeles gave like Bushwick, Like.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Can I tell you Bushwick? You would think you would
think Bushwick is the spot to find coffee, and you can.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
But you have got to.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Search, yeah for a goods Now, there is a Puerto
Rican owned coffee shop in Bushwick that was going out
of business, and I feel like the community showed up
and showed out. I wish I had the name on hand.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
I don't, but if you google Puerto Rican Coffee Shop
in Bushwick on the verge of closing, you'll find the
article go support them, But Bushwick is hard to find
a good coffee shop like convene.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Hmmm.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Maybe it's the different parts that I've been in. But
when I go in certain places, I'm like, I have
to get door dashed live.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Even around like because I know they like low key gentrified,
like irving over there on the l I.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Don't go over there often.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
But this is what I'm saying, because Bushwick is sectioned
in interesting ways, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
But anyway, that was but yes, but.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Yeah, that was, but that was my my we got
it really like, oh yeah, Chris Rogers. Also we walked
like miles and miles and miles on his birthday. We
walked like eight miles on his birthday, just walking.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Around five hundred miles.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
I Also, this is not an ad and I know
that we are not where thispos to be an age
of anti consumerism. But I'm telling everybody about these shoes
and I'm so excited. I hokah, oh, I have some
of them. I bought a pair. I finally bought a pair.
(20:09):
I was like, these are too ugly and too expensive. However,
on this biblical walk we were on, I only had
doctor schules and converses on my side, and I'm like,
that's just not helpful or conducive really, and I and
I work in chucks out of force of habit. I mean,
I'm California, you know whatever. But so we're walking around
(20:33):
and I was like, I had went to my hetero
homeboy's house, which I will, oh, that's an update because
and I don't know, I have to bring that up here.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Or heteral homeboy.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
As we talked about Survivor.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
I also had to oh, my god, for okay, So Mary,
hold on, sorry not to not to, you know whatever.
But so Mary brought up a good point when she
was asking about the weekend and she was like, you
know how you always have one teacher who like says
one or seven things that radicalize you. She was like
a teacher, just a person in your life. She was like,
(21:09):
I think you did that right. So I say that
because hold on, you just said something that sparked something.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
What did you just say?
Speaker 1 (21:17):
God damno, heteral homeboy.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
So we're in one of the classes, right and at
the top of this class, that's the first thing that
comes out. And I'm glad this was I'm glad this
might have been the only instance of this actually, but
we get a in doing intros and then somebody's introing,
and what happens. Another person's like, he gay, and then
(21:40):
somebody he gay.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Now it was not he was.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
I don't know if he was or not, but they
were using it as an insult. So I stopped him right.
I was like, hey, hey, hey, that's not an insult
and they were like oh. I was like, you don't
get to just be throwing that out and thinking you're
throwing out something that's hurting somebody's feelings. I was like,
(22:05):
being gay is not an insult. And they were like,
mister Johs have a problem with you have a male friends.
And I was like, no, why he doesn't. I was like,
number one, he's very secure within himself. Number two, most
of my friends are gay. And they were like, oh, okay,
(22:25):
all right. I was like, gay is not an insult,
so we're not going to use it as such. Female
is a species it gay is not an insult. Free palacide.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
They were like all right, So.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
You know, I was trying to do a lot of
work and.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Strike.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
It's like, let me beat a trunch bull, let me
be in a trunch bull of detention, who wants to
go in the chokey.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
I put you in the chokey with love.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
So anyway, listen, they needed they needed that information. But yes,
I had. I bought some Hokahs. They are. I bought
the little BONDI nine things, and I'm thoroughly excited about them,
and I keep telling everybody about them. I'm like, I'm
like Andrea, like when she told everybody, like, oh, my
husband's a cripping in jail everywhere I go. I'm like, so,
(23:21):
I bought these hokahs. They're not They're so comfortable. Have
you heard about them?
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I have had a pair in my closet for two years,
and I was like, every time I look at them,
but they're so fucking ugly.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
They're big, ugly. I got the cutest version of what
they could be. But like, it reminds me of like
back in the day, I had a pair of croc boots. Wait,
oh wait, wait, hold on, what is that right? So
when I lived in Buffalo, I wore crocs a lot,
(23:58):
but they also came out with a snow boot at
the time, and so I was walking around like I
was in the fucking Cretaceous period with these crop boots.
Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
Yes, Crocs now makes boots and these are the real
tree cameo boots, which are pretty awesome because, uh, check
them out, so the one thing.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
You can.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
And she feel like, I don't need to confirm this information.
I'm just I'm looking at the variations, the variations of
god awful of these shoes, and oh.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah, they're they're big time ugly.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Now, did you have these ones that like had this
snow like puff jacket apparatus at the top and all
crock at the bottom, this, mister toughness, did you have No?
Speaker 1 (24:55):
No, no, no, it was just a solid It was
just a regular boot, was it. Okay, it was two
thousand and eight.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
It wasn't a bilin all. Okay, hold on two thousand
and eight.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
No it was. It was a snow boot. Think hunter,
but croc.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Mm hmm okay, croc stomp puff boots. Oh fascinating.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
It looked like I was like a cast member of
the dinosaurs.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Yes, not the mama. That's good, that's okay, all right,
that's really ugly. Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
So wait, we should have this as a segment since
we say it so often but can be funny, So.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
So as I'm on my way home. It's Ohio. So
demographic at the airport is real pale.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
Yeah, I could protects the first yeah, real real much
so so.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yes and not in the gets thirdy ways so yeah,
I'm I'm you know, it is me and one other nigro.
What the lie right behind me? Just so happens to
be right behind me. I think you get box braids.
But anyway, so I get to the front, they check
the ID, all of that, and then so then the
(26:29):
TSA agent goes, oh, he checks his ID, and he goes, okay,
you can go.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
You can go on with her, and the man goes,
we not together. And it didn't even offend me that
he said it.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Like that, because I turned around real fast and I
was like, you thought we was together because we're black.
Then immediately me and oh boy burst into nasty, boisterous laughter.
I was like, because we're black, thought he was together.
We were both like ah because the guy started. The
(27:03):
guy was like no, no, no, no, but no, don't
do that to me, and I was like, don't do
that to us, and then both of us was like ah.
And then we walked to the fucking conveyor belt and
We're both like, because that motherfucker thought we was the
only niggas.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
On the line and his wife.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Everybody's uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
And I tell you because it was crowded at the
airport this way.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
I mean, fifty five white people are uncomfortable, and me
and this nigga are like, ah, we're not together.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
But you niggas thought we were.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
It was.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
It was amazing, amazing. Oh, fun times in the city.
So we should pay bills.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Oh my goodness. Yes, thank you for listening each and
every week. Tell a friend, Tell a friend that we're

Speaker 1 (28:53):

I'd like to thank Eli and Aaron and Industrial Media

alo On a TLC born if we and all of
our network progners, we really appreciate everything.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
And we're black.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
So before we start, I have two things to tell you.
The first one is it's a bit of homework and
also a question. I guess maybe it's homework if you
haven't done it, but it is also a question.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Have you ever looked at.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
A gate at the airport for flights going to Salt
Lake City, Utah?
Speaker 1 (32:43):
I've ever looked at like the like the just the
landscape of the gate. Oh yeah, yeah, I do that
all the time. Very Ah. They all have Stanley I've
noticed that, and they all have and they all have
(33:04):
It's weird. It's like, you know how remember when we
used to go to.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Save dermatologists lamb, Yes, with those purple pillows.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Yeah, that's literally how they travel. Like all the women
that are going to Salt Lake City, like they have
like these weird juicy couture sweatsuits. Yeah, like they dressed
in two thousand and three.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
They also move like sims. So like I noticed, I
started paying people.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Yeah, I started paying specific attention to the flights leaving
to Salt Lake City. And they like, they get stuck,
They stand in odd places, they move in weird ways.
So finally, you know, I just got real American on
the last, the last observation on my way because they
were also in the way, and I was like, please Mormons,
and then they started to scatter. It was like the
(33:54):
magic word in the sims, you know, and they started
to move a little bit.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Next time you go to the airport, pays to Canadians,
they do the same thing.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
You know.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
I was like, no, no, no, I would like to know.
I would like to be clear.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
No, I would like to be clear right now because
I know that we've talked a lot of ship and
I'm a humble my weave.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Okay, nigga, I'm a humble my weave. I don't have
no beefture. Okay.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
I support you wiping our liquor off of your off
of your shelves. Totally get it, Totally understand. I know
that Jada x D we make fun of you and
love the ho chi or whatever the fuck we are.
Crody dim war whatever the fuck y'all.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
Say we would?
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Ten two is down. Okay, So just just so y'all know,
like it's what love over here?
Speaker 3 (34:50):
Still Noah. So Noah is home with a cold and
I'm on the phone with Dustin. So I want to
he called I want to get something in the kitchen,
and so I said something. No, He's like, no, what's homan?
I say, yeah, she got a call. I'll tell my baby.
I hope she feels better. I said, Uncle, that's to
say he hopes you feel better. She said, how do
(35:13):
I know that's trustworthy? I said, yeah, that's about to
be my response to everything.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Yeah, goodbye. How do I know that's trustworthy?
Speaker 2 (35:35):
If that ain't my kid, I don't.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Know where.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
God, thank you to me, Jane, thank you for sending
me my little bestie.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Right, I like to thank me for me.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
I like to thank God for me little bit.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Yes, anyway, I know that's trustworthy. That's so funny. I
have to share something with you. It's a Reddit story. Okay,
it's not a personal Reddit story, it's an actually Reddit story.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
I don't know if this is fake. However, in my
experiences here in Los Angeles. I could see how this
is very real. Okay, And if you've read, if you've
heard this, you might have heard this on other podcasts
or if you watch smash. She probably heard this. But
(36:31):
I was like, oh, I need to tell Jana. I've
been meaning to tell you about this one for a while.
So okay, we'll read it to you. My husband, who
is forty me. She's a forty two year old woman.
Her husband, a forty two year old man, has informed
me he intends to go on a gacation with his
(36:53):
brother in law in Ibiza. And how do I handle this?
We're going to pizza. Hold on, Okay, that is the
title of the thing.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
This is the title.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
It's a forty two year old, forty two year old
hetero couple. Okay, has informed his wife now he intends
to go on a vacation with his brother in law.
So his sister's has a sister's husband in a visa.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Okay, I need details.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
How do I handle this?
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (37:39):
Now, when I first thought this, I'm like, oh, okay,
support you know what I mean? Like I get it,
Like maybe brother in law ain't out you know what
I mean? That could be the thing.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
You know.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
I don't know, but let's let's people have their things.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Let's see.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yeah, Hi there. I really wish I didn't have to
make this post, but here goes. So. Me and my
husband have been happily married for about sixteen years, give
or take. We both have stable careers, good family life,
and are fairly fortunate despite the cost of living bracket
the UK. Right now. We have two boys fifteen and ten,
(38:17):
and up until this Sunday thought we had it pretty good.
We argue sometimes, of course, but never gotten too bad,
and we have a pretty decent sex life with some exploration.
But I won't get into that.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
I do bud stuff.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Long and short is. On Sunday, after I dropped our
boys off at their friends, my husband asked me if
we had the house alone, and more importantly, do I
have a minute? I said yes, and he sat me down,
then got out this printed poster of some sort of
orgy and started explaining to me the concept of a
(38:52):
gay cation. Okay, how it's where straight men go to
some where with sun, sand and booze and become gay
for the duration of the trip. But that's fine because
it doesn't actually count because what happens on the gay
cation stays on the gay cation, okay. I was just
(39:15):
completely silent and mortified, even more so when he said
he was looking into booking a trip to Abisa next
year with his brother in law to experience it for himself.
When he finally let me speak, I just said, I
need him to be clear with me is he gay,
because if yes, that's okay, but we need to figure
(39:36):
out what happens going forward. I didn't let myself get
angry or upset. I was just stunned. He swore up
and down how he's not gay, and he's one hundred
percent attracted to women, and of course he still loves
me and our boys. So I said, well, do you
think you're by maybe? And he got very defensive, saying
how I need to drop the accusations and that this
(39:57):
is the beauty of the gay cation. It allows straight
men to experience gayness without being gay, and how it's
like going to an aquarium.
Speaker 5 (40:06):
Hm, well, the ring will not dampen spirits in Atlanta,
Pride Weekend is here and the city is ready to party.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
You can feel the energy in the air.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Jamie Kennedy at the kickoff party at the Georgia Aquarium.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
Jamie, what's it like, Delvin?
Speaker 1 (40:20):
And again he was adamant about he doesn't find men's
bodies or genitalia exciting at all, but he needs to
experience this apparently. I said, well, I'm not comfortable because
even if he was by this would be explicitly cheating
on me, and he got angry and reiterated he's not
because that's the beauty of the vacan of the gay cation.
(40:42):
I just had enough and left the room. Please. I
ignored him for the rest of the day, but we
spoke at tea where again asked him why does he
want to go to this so bad if he's not gay?
He said how he's interested in how gay men's lives
differ to straight men's, and that unfortunately, once the gaycation happens,
(41:02):
it's simply impossible for a man to resist, and he
must surrender himself, mind, body and soul to the gaycation
or be destroyed. I really can't put into words how
surreal it was, because he was speaking so matter of
factly and again insists that this is a thing that
straightman do all the time, and how he's actually doing it.
(41:24):
A bit late, I just said to him, if he
has any love for me, then he can go ahead
with this, and if he does, the marriage will dead.
We didn't speak anymore after that. Since then, he's mentioned Norman,
no more of it, but somehow, and this is what
scares me a lot too, that decision genuinely seems to
(41:45):
be tearing him up. He didn't go into work Monday,
and he only went on half a day yesterday because
he told them he just felt too ill. And he
just looks distraught every time I see him. I really
don't think he's wholly gay, though I absolutely believe he's
by but I'd rather we talked about that in a
healthy way rather than this incredibly weird denialism around going
(42:08):
on a sex holiday to a visa. Has anyone known
straight guys to do this and come back and just
go back to being straight? Like, surely that can't be
a thing that happens. I'm so out of my depth
here and I just don't know how to even initiate
the conversation. And for the record, I also haven't mentioned
it to his sister yet. I don't know how i'd
(42:29):
even break it to her. Thanks for any help. I
just don't even want to think. So being able to
get this out there has helped even just a little bit.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
Okay, oh.
Speaker 3 (42:52):
This is not about this is not about anybody needing
to explore or be you know, if they've had curiosities,
they've not you know, I do think that clear communication
needs to be had around that when you are in
any monogamous relationship, no matter what the iteration of that
(43:14):
sexuality gender expression is. I also think denial is a
river shut out to doci.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
And you know what I'm saying, like, if you're going
to do this, nigga, I like, let's have a real conversation.
Speaker 1 (43:33):
Like he printed out a poster and said I'm going
to cheat, And.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
He's like, Hi, I'm going to Disney, kay, and it's
about to be a time and like after that, you know,
everything is fixed.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
But I've got to go. I've got to do this.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
Yeah, He's not like it's a pilm pilgrimage to like
a holy land or somethingthing. It's just like, no, you
are telling your wife I have to go to this
place because I have this incessity to cheat on you,
regardless of what gender is going to be with Like
but but it's the gaycation and it's okay, because that's
(44:15):
the that's the beauty of the gaycation. Like stop telling
me that, like, stop trying to sell it to me,
like it's a fucking time share rack.
Speaker 2 (44:24):
This is what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
I'm like, can we talk honestly, Like, okay, so you
want to so clearly you've been feeling things.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
Can we talk about that and not this, you know,
cruise for cruise, like you know what it's like. I don't.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
Yeah, cruise for cruise, That's exactly what the fuck it is.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
I would be honest with you.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
I have more questions about the dynamic of the relationship
between the brother in laws if I'm being honest with you.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Yeah you again, are y'all are y'all likes to uh
was it steering vipers or whatever?
Speaker 3 (45:08):
Even I'm just curious. I'm like, I'm glad that I'm
glad they're not blood related because oh my god, there's
a storyline in a show right now.
Speaker 1 (45:20):
Well, oh I heard with Maria Shriver's son hold on
who the Patrick Schwartzenegger.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Yes, yes, honey, And that's not people are focusing on
this other storyline where I'm like, y'all, you'll got some
work to do this other storyline, No, that is I
am that that is I don't want to, you know,
because the show.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Is active, not on.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
No, we were brothers, they were sisters. It's very we
will talk about it. That's the one where I'm like,
what else that is? That is?
Speaker 1 (46:04):
That is.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Who wrote this? Where was your mind? Where was your mind? Again?
There's another storyline.
Speaker 3 (46:13):
People are really taking this and they're using it as
an opportunity to be phobic and hateful and all kinds
of things in the name of.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Think pieces and curiosity and education.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
But it's like, you know how people know this one
is the one that needs to be explored, because what
the fuck is this?
Speaker 2 (46:35):
Anyway?
Speaker 3 (46:36):
I'm curious about the brother in laws, like how where?
How did we even anyway?
Speaker 2 (46:45):
Yeah, you just turn on the notifications for that and
see if somebody comes back about it.
Speaker 6 (46:52):
Be the.
Speaker 1 (46:55):
I took a bill any names show a Vijia was
cool and when I finally got sober, felt ten years older.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
But fuck it, it was something you do. I'm living.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
Oh, I know, there's an update. Uh, let's get through.
Let's get through the show and I'll say the update.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
Oh okay, all right, all right, if you stuck around
for the update.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
Yeah, Instagram DM pictures of Lamas to XD Okay, alright,
so yep, lamas as the craziest pictures you can find
of Lamas. I know there's one out there with a
ponytail wig because I've seen it. All right, So, first
episode of the new season of Love After lock Up?
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Are you excited? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (47:50):
I am. Remember this is free everywhere, so you can
watch this free on Patreon and and YouTube and all
that jazz. Yeah, NAB's edit everywhere and all that Naja's
visuals all for free this week. With this episode, I'll
(48:12):
say that all subsequent Love After Lockup episodes will be
locked by the paywall over at our Patrick, So joy
for nine ninety nine. Where would you like to begin?
Speaker 3 (48:27):
Do we want to get real messy, real early? Do
we want to start with somebody we already knew? Let's
start with somebody we knew. Let's do Jenna Bush. And
I'm just gonna call him Bradley right now because you
know he presents differently even than the previous seasons we've seen.
Speaker 4 (48:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
Uh so, Jenna Bush and Bradley they're back. We saw
Jenna or Savannah of last season before the lockup. She's
a little you know, she lives on a plantation, but
they don't want to say she lives on a plantation.
She's had a hard life. She is in recovery and
(49:08):
that's how she met Bradley. Honestly, that was her drug
dealer homeboy, and he got locked up. And we're picking
up literally where we left off with them last season
before the lock up, and she's on her way to
go pick him up. As a to recall his case,
(49:29):
he uh has been locked up for two years for
transportation of a firearm. Most of his record was when
he was a juvenile, so the only thing on his
adult record is really this this charge, so he's only
got the two years. So that's kind of makes sense
of how he's able to get off so easily. I
(49:50):
do want to point out that Jenna Bush has personality
side view mirrors, and I think that should be illegal,
like like I wasn't an uber, and like you know
in the Cadillacs, like the Escalades, how the rear view
(50:11):
mirror is like digital, It's like a camera, it looks
like an LCD screen. I don't know if that should
be legal or not, but I don't know like your
deem it like the personality rear view mirror is.
Speaker 2 (50:25):
The worst in bumper stick.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
Yeah, I was like, that's crazy. I don't know if
that's regulation like regulatory. But she also side note she
used to raise raccoons. Oh yeah, because she's had the
moment in nature where she tries to like disrupt a
baby rat's habitat outside the prison.
Speaker 2 (50:49):
Was Michael Jackson. She's waiting.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
First of all, she's chaotic in so many ways because
she starts off her scene hot boxing and vaping out
all of production while they are filming her confessional. She then,
of course we talked about the personalized side mirrors on
her car, and then yeah, she's playing with these baby
(51:17):
rats and fucking with them. We don't know if she
don't know if the mother put them on the other
side of the field to make sure that they you know,
she don't know what the habitat situation is, but she here,
she is putting her human stink all over these baby
rats in a field while she's waiting on this nigga
to get out of jail.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Hello, so let's talk about free roaming rats. Why to
free roam them? How to free from them?
Speaker 4 (51:41):
Why do free from them.
Speaker 1 (51:42):
Let's go for everything in this video because I get
so many questions on this topic. So rats are high energy,
intelligent animals. Yeah, yeah, he gets out. Honestly, last week
chatted with he wasn't really into her like that, and
(52:03):
it seems like he's a little bit more into her now.
You know, he's a little bit more agreeable. Like remember
she got his name tatted on her person and at
first he was kind of like eh, but when he
saw he was kind of okay.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
Yeah, I guess I think we got a I think
seeing their dynamic in person, we got a better understanding.
She's I use this word loosely, delightfully annoying with a
dash of psychotic, so physiotic. So she's I think he
(52:46):
is probably used to her brand of nuts and maybe
it just did not translate well audibly.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Over the phone. Yeah, yeah, but that was them.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Yeah, his family's concerned about her influence on him, and
we'll see how that turns out, because remember him and
his sister got into it.
Speaker 1 (53:09):
Yeah, let's move on. Actually we could go to another
couple that we know already. Let's talk about Joey and Michael.
It was called Purple Hearts. Their names the Purple Heart
Society because everybody's a recovery of this story. But I
(53:33):
gotta be honest, I was not excited for them to
come back, not because I disliked them, but because I
know that this is not good nope for either of them.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
No, this is a brilli.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
Yeah. And actually, like Joey, I don't hate Joey it
this way, I'm concerned.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
I'm concerned for Joey. I am concerned for Joey. Joey
does not know what the fuck he is getting himself into.
Joey's use. This is like, okay, envision if you do
not watch this program, Joey is a toned down cam
(54:18):
from Modern Family getting into a relationship.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
With machine Gun Kelly. Okay, sure, yes, or like somebody
from Guns n' Roses like kid Rock. Yeah yeah, somebody
who is extremely chaotic and is going to ruin his mundo. Yeah,
(54:45):
it has already. We saw them a couple of seasons
ago and they met via an app. They actually have
only had sex together or while under the influence of meth. Yes,
Joey relapsed for Michael yep. And I think it's because
(55:10):
like Joey is so it's he's so insecure about himself
and his sexuality or his sexual prowess right because he's
like he's experienced because apparently Michael is a big fat
slore yeah, and so you know, and and self admittedly
(55:31):
too and much Joey. Joey feels as though he has
to do all these things to keep his manner or
whatever right. He Michael has been out, has been in
prison in and out all his life, and he doesn't
really have much family support because his family is fed
(55:54):
up with him. Meanwhile, Joey's family is super supportive and
they're very concerned learn about him getting involved with Michael
because last time we all saw them, they had an
intervention with his sister in law, the mama and the daddy,
who both of them were every kind of It was
(56:15):
over sandwiches and Arcty Cola. It was a lot going
the fuck go on that episode. It was It's on
the Peacock if you want to go watch it. So AnyWho,
Joey finally goes to go pick up some stuff from
his mama's house from Michael's mama's house, and he admits
that he is worried about being a doormat for Michael
(56:37):
because he knows that he has trouble saying no to
Michael yep, And he talks about his fears about relapsing
because of being with Michael, and so they're kind of
like going through his stuff and his mama was like,
you need to delete all his ship off his old phone,
and he was like, I don't want to do that,
(56:59):
and and staff his mother was right though.
Speaker 3 (57:03):
Norma is sick of Michael's shit, and not in a
way where she's like I'm giving up on him, but
she has set boundaries and she is concerned for Joey
the same way that we are, because she knows what
her son is capable of because of her experience with him.
So while she does hope that maybe the relationship will
be a positive influence, she's also keeping a realistic viewpoint
(57:26):
that this may not be the best situation in general
and for Joey himself.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
And she's just hoping for the best.
Speaker 3 (57:34):
But she's not getting She's not going along with the bullshit,
including allowing him to live there.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
He's not allowed to parole at his mother's house.
Speaker 1 (57:41):
Norma said no, no, no, no, She resets his phone,
she does a hard research, she'll be if he wants
to be mad, I'll give fuck because he doesn't need
to be a Joey agreed that he doesn't need to
have these old contexts because if you have access to
these old con text is very easy for you to
(58:01):
slip back into your old ways.
Speaker 3 (58:03):
Yes, and while people will will find what they want
when they want it, it also does something to at
least add an extra layer of challenge and not leave
it at their open disposal to just go find it easily.
Speaker 1 (58:18):
Right. And it's even wild because Michael feels that he
feels safer in prison because he's not he doesn't have
that temptation or whatever, So that that adds a level
of concern because Michael is just is unsure of how
he will do on the outside. So he goes Joey
goes home and talks to his father, and his father
(58:44):
is even concerned about Michael going to the halfway house
because he's not parolling with them. He got to go
do some time at the halfway house like it happens typically,
And his dad was like, I need to meet this
nigga face to face and see if he's lying right,
because that's how I will know man to man if
he's telling the truth, and throughout this we I don't
(59:07):
know what or but Michael comes on the camera and
reveals that he's been lying or has been completely honest
with Joey yep, and we don't know about what. I'm
assuming it's it's about some niggas he was fucking in prison.
Speaker 3 (59:23):
I'm assuming yeah, I think it's something along the lines
of monogamy, because he said he is concerned about being
monogamist when he gets out on the outside, and he's
told us previously that, you know, he has always been
openly gay and being in prison has been like being
a kid in a candy shop in the past. So,
you know, on top of the fact that we that
he openly at you know, admittedly talks about his struggles
(59:49):
with substance abuse. So we'll see what happens. I don't
foresee good things though.
Speaker 1 (59:56):
Me either. Let's take a break and we'll be back
with Laura, Jada, xt head It Claude after these messages.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Will be right back.
Speaker 6 (01:00:11):
And lastly, I want to give a special shout out
to the great team at Sharp Entertainment who make us
all look good on a daily basis.
Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
We couldn't do this without you. This award is for
all of us. Thank you so much. And we're black.
We're talking about love after lock up. Let's move on
(01:00:44):
to a new.
Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
Couple that we have, which one? Who do you want
to end with?
Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Ashley and Julius and alexis yes, but we could we
could talk about Brook and jk.
Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
Oh Jackie Kennedy because they both look.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Yes, yes, yes they do period uh and just kidding.
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
Brook is period.
Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
I don't Brook. I don't get like she's a hot
seetle girl, like she's a hot y I don't know.
I don't know white girls like that, white girls in
the modern era. I don't understand. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
I called her because they both work out boy boots.
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
And yeah, but she also like speaks in like a
black set and it's just it's just a lot going on.
She's not she's not old girl from the other other threatold.
She's not that, but she's she's she's if a white
girl was on baddies like Baddie's Texas, like you know
what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Can I say tell you that Baddie's is the term.
The term.
Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
Is very popular among the children, and it is bothering me.
And when I say the children, the actual children, because
my niece was showing me her Roadblox characters and then
she was showing me her friend's Roadblocks characters and she
was like, look at them. She was like, they said
(01:02:35):
that they are creating baddies and that is what those
Roadblocks characters were designed after. And I'm like, how the
fuck did zeus infiltrate the children.
Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Because their parents and grandparents are my age.
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Not Dustin being a grandpa. Anyway, So we open with talked.
Speaker 3 (01:03:00):
To her because I'm sticking to it, and her two
children practicing their bull riding skills.
Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
For the rodeo.
Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
M HM and Belton, Texas.
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
I thought it was a quilla a kiya.
Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
Oh perhaps I got Belton, Texas at the beginning.
Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Although yeah, okay, all right, well, just because they do
it to us, I'm going to do it to them,
even though it really means nothing that she's got two
children by two different niggers. They always want to do
it to us, so I'm like, okay, well I'm gonna
do to y'all.
Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
So fuck it.
Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
Yeah, I made it very clear in my notes that
she has two baby daddies. Yeah, one she has a
twelve year old son and a six year old son
and both their daddies and and shit, yeah you know, yeah,
they're very textan. You know, they eat like, you know,
(01:04:04):
brisket and things, you know, that kind of stuff. I
will say, is the picture that they show in the
promo between you know and the bumper and what he
looks like now and what he used to look like
all three different people. Okay, he he also JK right,
(01:04:34):
he is very I don't want to call him Paul
wall s No, he is. Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
Oh, Bubba Sparks that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
New South take a picture of me because I'm a
fucking edge and this is getting on it.
Speaker 6 (01:05:03):
There we go, there we go.
Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
Yeah if Bubble Sparks was from Texas, yes, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll give them sparks why not.
Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
Yeah yeah a slender bubble Sparks with no teeth. Yeah.
J yeah. So Jess Kidding and Brooke have been together, well,
they've known each other since they were kids. I do
want to point out that everybody in this story they've
all known each other since they were like nine, Like everybody, Yes,
(01:05:39):
that's what I thought. What did you say?
Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
And it's just because.
Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
Yeah, that's so like they've known each other since they
were kids or whatever and so and they've been off
and on for whatever, and so like apparently so her
mama rolls up on her and they're talking about this
(01:06:08):
girl named Bonnie, and her mom was like, you know,
how's it going to feel getting out? Like you got
to deal with this other trick named Bonnie. And Brooke
is like, I like Bonnie. I thought it was weird
at first, but I like Bonnie asterisk Now Bonnie Bonnie
(01:06:29):
is Jak's girl bestie alliteration.
Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
A bitch named Bonnie is a bitch from back in
the day.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Yeah, yes, like that is his home. They like, that
is his home skillet like they used to date when
they were teenagers. And because it seems like a very
small town, everybody was just sucking on each other or whatever.
(01:06:57):
And she eventually was like, no, think will work out
and they became it just like family. And so one
day while these people were talking on the phone whatever,
Bonnie shows up to Brooks Crib. It was like, hey,
I need a place to live while this Think is
in jail, and she lets Bonnie move in with her
(01:07:18):
and they became best youth.
Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
Yeah, but it's interesting dynamic, right because yeah, okay, So
Bonnie moved in with h Kennedy Haktua, Brooke.
Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
I'm sorry with Brooke, Hoktua.
Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
And so while Haktua does not could think of Bonnie
as any type of threat whatsoever, Like Xdy said, you
know what I'm saying, this is just a back in
the day situation.
Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
Bonnie verbiage is interesting. Right.
Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
So she moved in with Brook about a month ago,
and she's totally comfortable. Brooke is totally comfortable. Bonnie thinks
that it's a little bit awkward because of the origins
of the relationship. But I'm like, if there's nothing there,
you would not have even brought up the awkwardness of
the origins of the relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:08:15):
Now, we made a bitch, Dave Alex.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Okay, So about a year ago, JK met Alex and
it got emotional very quickly, right, Like, they got all
into each other. Basically, that's all you have to do
is talk. That's all you have is time to talk.
So it got very emotionally heavy. They were all the
(01:08:40):
way in. She said she was going to get off
birth control so when he got out, he could get
her pregnant. Now, Bonnie and Alex used to be roommates
and besties, but Alex was fucking around while Bonnie was babysitting.
Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Her children, and then Body snitched with proof. Boddie printed
out a CVS receipt of videos, audio, voice notes, text messages.
Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
And the show what's that message? I was like, Alex,
how much did they pay you to.
Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
Talk boy memos?
Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
Yeah, blackboard messages and all. She had a signal text
around the board.
Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Of fucking evidence, yes, of Alex fucking her.
Speaker 3 (01:09:39):
She was like, I was babysitting her kids and she
was sucking around with multiple diggings. So he broke up
with Alex about three months ago and then immediately called Brooke,
who is this old thing?
Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
To get it back. So Bonnie likes Brooke, but she's like,
but I'm more loyal to JK. And remember she also
snitched on Alex.
Speaker 3 (01:09:59):
So now this has given me, Oh, he's like my brother,
you know what I'm saying type of vibes. And the
thing about it now is that remember with Bonnie and Alex.
Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Used to be besties.
Speaker 3 (01:10:12):
Now body lives with Brook Brooks ready to throw hands
and get busy at the release if Alex comes to the.
Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
Release, m is going to get hacked. It's about to
be what girl girl fight. Let's move on to Kana
and Demandra delightfully dumb. I just yeah, I don't. I
(01:10:47):
don't have names for them yet. Yeah, Kiana look exactly
my cousin.
Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
Actually, like no, I called to her now because Keana
is a girl from you know, let's just call her
from the suburbs for all intentsive purposes, who you know,
just wants to be in love with some big headed
nigga at the skating rink and where his necklace?
Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
Yeah? Yeah, So this story takes us down to Lubbock, Texas,
and I will say Kana's lashes got on screen five
minutes before she did in every scene. She's twenty seven
and she is a wonderful hairstylist and farm tech and demand.
(01:11:40):
Drick is thirty. He's locked up for firearm under felony indictment.
That means he's been in and out of jail yeap.
Last last sentence has been two years. Yeah. So she
admits off the back that she don't have good taste
(01:12:00):
in men, and then she grew up shelter, you know, Yeah,
she grew up sheltered very strict family. And the best
part of the story is not her, It's not it
is her co workers.
Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
It is.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
And you know, Robin Dixon, Kendrick, and Rachel. Yeah, Rachel
like apparently and I had the same reaction as Kendrick did.
So Gianna comes into work and she's letting Rachel Dolas
(01:12:41):
all know that her niggas getting out of work, getting
out or getting out early was released, like he's getting
out tomorrow. And I said, well how And both me
and Kendrick said snitching because I was like, there's no
way he had to have pitched to get an early release,
(01:13:02):
because that's the only good behavior they given good behavior
niggas and firearm under felony indictment, Like, yeah, you've brought
it out. This is where I got the.
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
Guns, this is where I used the guns.
Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
This is who provided me the guns, this is who
provided me the money for the guns.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
This is where you can find them. That reminds me
I need to talk to you about power at some point.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Yes you do, okay, Patreon.
Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
Yeah, yeah, okay, So AnyWho. Apparently, Kana and in Madrick
have been on and off for ten years. They've known
each other since high school. Like you said, suburban gal,
(01:13:58):
you know with the rack and muffin. Yeah, however been together.
So I was like, Okay, I see it now. I
don't know how much off there was often, but there
was off. There was off enough for him to have
six children. Yeah, m with three different women.
Speaker 3 (01:14:22):
Oh can I also just to go back real quick
because Rachel doles All, actually, when I tell you, I
the same way that I hollered with that nigga at
the TSA line when she came in there and she
was like, I'm not about to be at work for
a few days because I'm about to be under my man,
my man, my man. Rachel Dolosa said, as long as
(01:14:43):
you pay your booth friends, that was one of the
best parts of this story.
Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
But continue, please now Demandrick. You know it's cool or
she's cool with Devondrick's baby moms except one and the
one that has the most kids, Jualia. Now Julia is
(01:15:14):
just as delusional, if not worse, than Keana, right because yeah,
she had not only does she have children, she's going
on Twitter or whatever bird ap, yes, and is you know,
like I can't wait for my nigga to get home.
(01:15:35):
I'm gonna fuck him woop do woo. You know, and
my man, my man, my man, and I and I
can hear the way she talks and she hasn't even
done a camera spoken, and I know that she speaks
of social baby girl.
Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
I've got four kids for him.
Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
Yeah, exactly. So. Meanwhile, Kim Drick, her coworker, is calling.
He was like, what makes you think you're not telling
you the same thing that he telling her, saying.
Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
And asking all of the necessary things.
Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Both Kendrick and Rachel Dolozol are in the salon doing
the fucking work. We also find out that this sweet
dizzy bitch has sent him twenty thousand dollars so far.
Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
And Rachel Dolozov is clearly concerned.
Speaker 1 (01:16:29):
She is so upset.
Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
She's like, oh, this girl has just set herself up
for a life.
Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
I just I wrote her coworker kp envious, trying to
drop science on her as she refuses to live.
Speaker 2 (01:16:41):
She's like, the sky is poking. I love him.
Speaker 3 (01:16:47):
Now we meet the third best character of this storyline
in a different way, best and worse.
Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
Yeah, yeah, wear.
Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
Here's the thing though, I said, this is an Oudo
reverse in Daddy Issues, because.
Speaker 1 (01:17:12):
Yeah, so like that's so sweet and honorable.
Speaker 3 (01:17:16):
But no, because notice how her overread birth mother will
not appear on this camera.
Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
So no, we meet G Paul.
Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
So G Paul came in her life at twelve years old,
and G Paul shows up to help her.
Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
Load her things.
Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
He's going to be driving with her to go pick
up Demon whatever from what's this young man's name, Demondrick
from the jail. Now that's exactly what he is, Demon Time.
You know what that's his name. Okay, we got new
new and demon Time so or delightfully Dizzy, we call
(01:18:04):
her DEDI whatever. So this is where it gets very
black and also like delightfully black.
Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
So G Paul is.
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
Friends of long time with Demodrick's parents. He knows his
people them right.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
So now Keana no delightfully Dizzy has a beef with
Demodrick's sister because because.
Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
How old are you for you to be the Beatrice bitch?
Like I know you are you Deve Beatrice. That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:18:49):
Be just came from Kindred. They brought her back into the.
Speaker 3 (01:18:57):
So Bea is cool with Joalia okay, the baby baba,
and Beatrice is also very realistic. She's like, ooh, this
bitch is so dizzy and my brother is a demon
time nigga, and you know what I'm saying, like it
is what it is. Him and Joya got multiple kids together.
This is not gonna fare well. And because no, because
(01:19:20):
of her relationship with Joualia, Nunu don't want to really
deal with Beatrice like that, so she's created this like
this static between them. So you know, they're there to
pick up all of Demodrick's clothes and things to take
to him while they go pick him up from jail.
Mind you, they thanked his daddy and then on the
way out, his daddy.
Speaker 2 (01:19:40):
And them are not lifting a finger to go get
that nigga from jail, which is not a finger, not
a finger. So this now, this is where Gpau, I'm like, gipauw,
I love that you showed up for this child in
this way since she was twelve years old, but I'm
feeling like again and Uno reverse and daddy issues. Why
(01:20:03):
are you going with him per to pick this nigga
up from jail knowing all of these facts and bullet
points about not only their dynamic but his background.
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
Yeah, I kept calling him Carl Winslow, and I was
like you know, you not doing your due diligence as
a guardian, right, Like, yeah, I understand you want to
be you want to have your kids are grown and
you want them to find their own way and blah
blah blah blah blah. Yeah, but also, girl, I'm not
letting anybody I love make first of I'm just not
(01:20:41):
agreed to do this. But then I'm gonna be mad
because I'm like, well, I'm gonna have to do this
because I don't trust anybody else going with you because
I know you're dumb enough to not ask the right
question because you know what I mean. So I might
have an attitude the whole way.
Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
So like, yeah, but he doesn't. He doesn't have an attitude.
Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
I know he doesn't, and that's I don't know he
should happen. He should be like I'm here to support you.
Speaker 3 (01:21:08):
But girl, something tells me her mother, her mother has
enough attitude for everybody, and maybe gpr IS does.
Speaker 1 (01:21:17):
It's trying to do because like I understand, like we're
gentle parenting here, like that's what's happening in this regard.
Speaker 2 (01:21:27):
I just don't know when does gentle parenting become enabling parenting?
Like when does when does the w where's the fine
fucking line?
Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
That's that's that's an America life question.
Speaker 4 (01:21:43):
Hire me to post in PR. I promise I won't
say nigga. Okay, I swear okay. The end in PR
does not stand for nigga.
Speaker 3 (01:21:52):
And the thoughts expressed on this program have nothing to
do with the national program of radio. Get me on
here to talk about the fine line of gentle parenting
(01:22:14):
enabling in all of these things, because I feel like,
as a millennial, I have a well versed opinion.
Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Or how we need to navigate with some of these niggas.
Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
Like it's just.
Speaker 2 (01:22:29):
Who this girl is, so so absolutely stupidly sweet, and
I just.
Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Right. We also didn't when they had to go, they
had to pick up clothes over That's how they end
up coming across Beatrice because you don't have money to
buy him new clothes or anything like that.
Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
She said, you're gonna wear this fat farm from the
days of your nigga.
Speaker 1 (01:22:51):
Right, So you know, it's release day. Apparently he's late
getting out and she eventually gets a call from the
jail and that's where the episode ends. So like, I
don't know if he's getting out but I don't know,
(01:23:16):
but something tells me j is coming.
Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
From blood Joya showing up.
Speaker 3 (01:23:20):
And you know what I thought about when she was
getting dressed in that onesie and those furry slippers. I said, Baby,
those are the wrong shoes to fight in. I already
feel like you can't fight and those are the wrong
shoes for you to put on for Julia to possibly
pop up on niggas Like, I just don't foresee this being,
(01:23:42):
you know, a positive thing.
Speaker 1 (01:23:46):
Oh no, not at all, not at all, not at all.
Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
Yeah, see what happened, but that was.
Speaker 1 (01:23:53):
Yeah, we have one more Yeah, one more couple or
the title of the title of the episode threatle trouble.
Speaker 2 (01:24:04):
The title alack because the title of this episode is
free Phobe.
Speaker 1 (01:24:16):
So we initially meet Ashley. Ashley is thirty one in Cincinnati, Ohio,
and she's a waitress. She has two children, beautiful, adorable children.
Speaker 2 (01:24:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
He, Julius is a Wyan in every sense of the word.
Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
Well I called him, why and Julius look at us?
Speaker 1 (01:24:48):
Yeah, he is skinny and has a whole bunch of
tats and probably doesn't know how to read. But he
is He is in prison or jail, has been there
for six years for Druga. Ashley looks world of different
(01:25:15):
in her confessionals than she does in regular camera time.
She used to be a dancer back in the day
of the right. So what do you do for a minnit?
Speaker 2 (01:25:33):
I'm a dancer, no.
Speaker 1 (01:25:38):
Exotic, Yeah, you know leg shaker if you will. However,
she left that life behind when she you know, kids,
So she was like, you know what, I need to relax.
Her kids have black fathers. By the way, actually is.
Speaker 2 (01:25:59):
Is uh, we're assuming she is.
Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
Probably she's there's a drop in there. I don't know
how much of a dropper there's a drop, ah, I.
Speaker 3 (01:26:20):
You know, I.
Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
Don't know. I don't know, honest with you.
Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
I just I think she has a mother who might
only fuck with niggas who have wicks in their hair,
you know what I'm saying, Like, Yeah, that's what That's.
Speaker 2 (01:26:36):
Kind of what I gathered. But you know, regardless, she
I was like, all right, mood, you know what I'm
saying you yeah, you know, switch professions to make sure
that it makes sense for the family. She's self proclaimed
hopeless romantic emphasis on.
Speaker 1 (01:26:53):
Yeah. So much of the fact that she's never met
this nigga in person even though he looks like tokash,
she's sixty nine. So he calls her and he explains
that his mom is picking him up from our release day,
and he gives her like the roundabout like plans of like,
(01:27:14):
you know, like try to throw her off. Sin. I
was like, Oh, I know where this is going before
Michael's done it better though.
Speaker 2 (01:27:20):
Yeah, and oh Michael og King of Deception, what do
you mean?
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So Ashley's picking up on it. She's like,
so plans are changing. Now your mama is picking you
up and now you're go hang out with her, like like,
what's the what's the issue?
Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
Right? I was going to see you at two and
I'm going to see you at night now, I mean
I see you.
Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
Also, I am not a roach. See me in the day,
see me in.
Speaker 3 (01:27:49):
The daytime, No good times. And it's she's she's got
this swooty the Pool tattooed collar on her collar. No,
I would like to explain the origins of how they met.
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
She has its name, she has is name tatted on her.
Speaker 2 (01:28:07):
To opposite of the Winnie the Pool, which is it's
not a titty tat, it's a it's not quite a
collar it's.
Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
A it's a classical tat here.
Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28:20):
Here. I thought it was a very interesting place.
Speaker 2 (01:28:23):
Yeah, so it could have been on a cat.
Speaker 1 (01:28:28):
For Yeah, and maybe it was in a different place
at a different time.
Speaker 2 (01:28:33):
Maybe that happened.
Speaker 1 (01:28:34):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
And that's not shade I fear.
Speaker 1 (01:28:37):
That's that's my fear about like getting.
Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
That's what my mother told me.
Speaker 3 (01:28:40):
That's what my mother told me when she discovered my
first one I got when I was a teenager.
Speaker 2 (01:28:44):
She was like, Okay, look what that bitch is going
to look like you have a baby.
Speaker 1 (01:28:54):
Like I also feel bad for like women who have
like who had tummy tats, but then how to get
a see section so like oh it.
Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
Starts looking like like like the Bodyguard front and stuff
where it's all broken up.
Speaker 2 (01:29:09):
Damn.
Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
Yeah, like these girls. This girl I saw, she had
to get a tummy tech because she had some weird
with her core and so it's just the only thing
to fix it is like to do a tummy tech
because you of course all the muscles together. And so
like she had a whole like tattoo going across like
a nigga tattoo like here, but like across her belly.
Now it's just like fragmented. So it's like like if
(01:29:34):
God and then blank and the ust.
Speaker 3 (01:29:41):
Listen even me. And that's why I said, this is
not shake. The guy busted my hamstring and stopped working out,
and I was like, Oh, this little garden on my
arm has got jungle. Now I've got to I've got
to I've got to do something.
Speaker 2 (01:29:57):
Welcome to the jungle.
Speaker 3 (01:29:58):
So they now the origins of their relationship. It was
not JP, it was not through a friend, It was
not through a Facebook post or a TikTok account. He
called her phone by accident, quote unquote. I feel like
this nigga was you know when people get to the
(01:30:20):
buzzer and they just start dialing apartments to see who
opens the door. She this is where we have spoken
in the past about the danger of certain levels of loneliness,
because he called a phone by accident, and she did
a Friday Allah, you sound cute, you sound like you
(01:30:44):
look good, and then she did look him up, found
him on Facebook. She was, you know, taken to his appearance,
and they have now been together for a year.
Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
Yeah. Meanwhile, ten miles away we meet Alexis, ten miles away,
we meet Alexis aka DOCI. She is a home health
aid and she's twenty nine years old. She too speaks
(01:31:19):
of social media. Oh yeah, Now how they met a
real connection. Alexis and Julia's sister our besties.
Speaker 2 (01:31:37):
That's important.
Speaker 1 (01:31:38):
That's how they met, simple as that.
Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
Now, Remember they've been seeing hold on.
Speaker 3 (01:31:43):
Remember when he was giving her all that run around
with the pickup and his mother and so forth and
so on. She was like, do I get to meet
your family finally? And he said, I'm not trying to
do all that so quick. We need to take our
time with things. So that's important to note. With the
nature of Alexis and his sister's relationship. Alexis is the
(01:32:07):
real girlfriend, by the way, she is definitely the main.
Speaker 1 (01:32:10):
Yes, she's the real girlfriend, because Julius actually talks about
her in a way as if that is his real girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (01:32:18):
Yeah, and the best way that you can under very
toxic circumstances. Also, and to the point, she's actually seen
them multiple six or seven times over the past month. Remember, uh,
girlfriend Ashley.
Speaker 3 (01:32:37):
Is she's been a year and she can't get approved
for the visitation list.
Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
So so we see what's what here? Now I have
on a side quest, just real quick between you and I.
Speaker 3 (01:32:51):
How the fuck did they scam this old white lady
Kathy into being on this program.
Speaker 1 (01:32:59):
The same way that they get old people to work
at Walmart as greeters. The economy is bad, or.
Speaker 3 (01:33:07):
My grandma why she called me and said Amazon. Amazon
called me and I said, no, girl, no, they're not
going to do that.
Speaker 1 (01:33:16):
Exactly. The economy is bad. They're scamming old people and
forcing the elderly back to work because agree apparently yeah,
and is in Trump's America everybody works. Okay, teenagers, we're
back to syty that was about to have to work
at the coal mines. Oh, it's a good thing.
Speaker 2 (01:33:37):
She took that so in class whole like, she took
that so in class a minute ago. And I'm like, girl,
the factory is coming. I will lay my life down
the first let me tell you something. You've got to
go on a big mama.
Speaker 1 (01:33:54):
First, let me tell you something because I because you
know they're gonna reenact the Aft at some point, and
so I'm like, with all these this de I roll back.
Let him roll it the funk back, because if you
don't want my my gay black ass and the ship
then find so be it lose the war. I don't
give a fuck. Whisper listen, no, you go listen, listen.
(01:34:22):
Stop walking stop.
Speaker 2 (01:34:31):
That's a safe word, Mariah carry.
Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
Yeah. I was watching Phail Army and there was like
somebody was like texting somebody like, oh, passed down on
ring so I could come home early. And so this
black okame in and she just fell out on the
ring camera just mood woo.
Speaker 2 (01:34:56):
Anyway, So okay, So remember Lexus is his sister's best friend.
Speaker 3 (01:35:01):
They've been on and off for three years. She's seen
him six to seven times just in the last month alone.
And he tells her on the phone.
Speaker 2 (01:35:11):
Mind you, this is all at Kathy, her not client
what do you call it, her patient's house. She's at
her patient's house with her coworker Diamond in the kitchen,
like Mama literally gets off of Kathy's blood pressure machine
so she can go take the phone call from Wayan
Julius and so you know she's over in the kitchen
(01:35:33):
basically about to rub one out in Kathy's kitchen and
loving over this nigga. And he's telling her.
Speaker 3 (01:35:41):
I'm going to parole to my mom's but I'm going
to be living with you, like, and he's expressing emotion
and all types of things that we did not see with.
Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
What are we going to call that, lady? I don't know?
Speaker 1 (01:35:59):
Sad, know, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:36:03):
She has.
Speaker 1 (01:36:05):
So sad.
Speaker 3 (01:36:07):
So yeah, now what really made me sad about all
of this, What really made me sad is the fact
that alexis being the real girlfriend and a beautiful girl
at that. Let's be very clear, Okay, like beautiful dimples
and she's just like a really cute, pretty and beautiful girl, right.
(01:36:29):
She had self esteem issues growing up because of ignorant
people and how they have tried to make her feel.
And you know, here you are with this nigga who
is playing all over you and has admitted that you
are his main because of the way that you have
shown up in this relationship. So I'm very sad for
(01:36:50):
the way that she thinks that this is going to
work out, or the way that she thinks this is
working out with the issues that she's had in the past,
because she's not coming off as stupid. This is what
a grant is in the context of this show. Let's
always be very clear, must always be very clear about
those parameters. But I do feel sad for her because
she is invested and she doesn't deserve that. But both
(01:37:16):
of them are idiots, and they're both preparing for his
release with Lingerie and Rose Petals in Romance, and there
are signs all over Cleveland. I noticed at the bus
stops they say syphilis is back, and so, yeah, I
actually meant to capture it, and I couldn't get it
quick enough. But then I noticed like four of them
within a half a mile's radius, and so I said,
(01:37:42):
there's Lingerie, there's Rose Pedals, and there is syphilis galore,
and we will see how this turns out.
Speaker 1 (01:37:51):
Who's it, say, Wesson's Galore exactly. Yeah, But that was
it for this week's episode of Love After Laca. Remember
you can find subsequent episodes our recaps over on our Patriot.
But yeah, we will see you all next time later, yes,
(01:38:16):
and we're moving over
