America’s Got Talent (AGT)’s 20th Anniversary Season has concluded!
Earlier this year, thousands of acts auditioned for the chance to impress producers. Only a select few were invited by show producers to appear in front of veteran judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Mel B. 10 acts received an immediate ticket to the live shows thanks to the Golden Buzzer. At the same time, 34 had to wait for the deliberations.
Then, we had the live shows, as for the second year in a row, four acts (Steve Ray Ladson, Mama Duke, Micah Palace (seriously, what was Simon thinking?), and Team Recycled) received the live Golden Buzzer, which immediately took them to the AGT: Season 20 live finale. After last week’s semifinals, Chris Turner, Jessica Sanchez, Jourdan Blue, Leo High School Choir, Light Wire, and Sirca Marea punched their tickets to the finale!

has come to a close. This was a rollercoaster of
an anniverse for a year, and I guys say, I
wish I was there at the past to be in
a civic auditorium to be part of festivities. And in
all honesty, I kind of agree with my friend AGT

commentary commentator on Twitter that they shouldn't move the back
to the Dolby for the final round for the finale,
because in all honesty, as much as I like this
past pacivic auditorium, I want to see them learn how
to go to another theater. And I really and I
think having another theater that has like some more double
the audience would really step up the plate and I

think everyone would perform very well. So right now, before
we got to the performances, they gave us the season flashback.
Now I like flashbacks, but in all honesty, did we
really need to have a flashback of the entire season?
That should be saved for the finale night, which I

will get to later, but right now we talk about
the performances. So at first was Jessica Sanchez. I was
very surprised she was the first one out. I thought
that I thought she would be near the end. However,
Jessica sanderferdos of you who don't know. Jessica Sanchez first
appeared as a young girl back in the very first season,

so two thousand and six, and she made it all
the way to semi finals before we just the dealing
department just fill and told her that she did not
make it. And then she came back to reality television
six years later on one of the best American Island
runs of all time, and I still think she Philip
Phillips robbed her of her deserved victory. But then she

came back this season for the twentieth anniversary season and
competed once more. She received Sophia Regards Golden Buzzer, and
she has moved from street to street with each of
her performances. For her final song she Shows Die with
a Smile by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, it was
a spectacular, epic performance. No, it was the net A plus. Yes,

moving on, we had light Wire, which I got to
say should have been moved to the back of the show.
But like like Jessica, but like it was still one
of the fantastic auditions I've acts I've ever seen. They
were got Simon Collis Golden buzzer way back during the
first I think the first night of AGT or second

night of AGENC twenty. I'm honestly not sure. It's been
the lost season so anyway, So it was revealed in
a final pre performance package of the season that during
the last performance when of the dancers costumes lots of
battery and thankfully they made it to the finalomy. But
however it was crunch time because they only had a
week to turn a performance around and it took us

to a rainfall, beautiful rainforest where they had dancers to
interpret themselves as butterflies, tarantula from the choreographer. We spectacular.
It was one of the best final performances I have
seen eighty years. I think that I want to see
this act in Vegas. I want to see them on
a world tour A plus. Moving on, we have Mama

Duke and Mama Duke was a very surprising Golden Buzzer.
I Shelby gave her the Golden Buzzer after she was
the second act of the night. I was still shocked
that that happened, but I gotta say this, it was.
She's one of the biggest surprises of the surprises of
the season, and her final original song One Last Time

felt like it was having to send could belong in
the Attendance universe and or maybe the Zombie or maybe
the zombies or high school musical universes. But she's definitely
Town and she has a bright feature. She reminds me
of a young Queen Latifa, and she got a B
plus for me a bee. So moving on, we have
Circa Mara, and I really don't get them. It feels

like they I've seen your tricks before multiple times on
the show, and now why are they using mass You're
having used them all season aside do it now, which
I'm very shocked at. And I gotta say this, I
would buzz them and they got my first f of
the evening. Moving on to the second f of the evening,
Mica Palace. This is probably one of the worst finals

in show history and Simon's worst moment of his career.
I gotta say Mica is this season's Sanjaya Malakar and
Kevin Skinner. I miss the days of Howard Stern, Sharon Osborne,
Piers morgan Is. All three of them would have had
a field day on him, and all three would abuzz
him and I'm sorry, but I don't see his appeal,

So I would have another f for me. Moving on,
Me got Leo High School Choir. They are my favorite
choir of the season. They remind me so much of
musicality and Adolov And for their final performancy seeing Will
I Am in the Scripts Hall of Fame, it was goosebumps,
it chills and a minus for me. Living on me

have Chris, He's the last comedic rapper still standing. He
was gave out eight random choices from the audience, so
how he had the thing for his name? Asked for
no tampon this week Melby Sunday Dinner in her fanny pack.
Sophia with strength and power to latinas and Simon bought
a baby elephant to play the bongas with the banana.

Then Chris asked each judge just sent gave out four
random selections from a studio audience. But I still think
it's a brilliant ya. It was what audience member had
Howie man Yell audience member Jamaica audienceumber two number at
Jamaica audience number three said uh California. And in the
final audience member shows Brazil and Breathe Now, Chris had

working with the beat which went from eighty to one
hundred and fifty beats per minute. So I was very
impressed with Chris's performance. I gotta say this, he is
a dark horse going into the final. I finally get him,
and I got to say that he could be the
season's Chris Allen. For those of you who don't know

what who Chris Allen is. He won the eighth season
American Idol, beating out both Adam Lambert and als and Irahata.
Both people would have would have won the show, However,
Chris pulled it out after over Adam Lambert. So that's
why I call him a dark horse in this season's
Vershire so I got to give Chris Turner a B plus.

Moving on, we got Jordan Blue, Howie Mandel's original Golden
Brothers brother of the season. I love hearing his insights
on performing in his final pre performance package, and I
also loved hearing that his estranged parents that I think
he told Jordan total well that he was working in
this relationship with him, would be in the audience for
the finale. So the song Choicy chose was Golden from

K pop Demonhadroce. This was a left field I did
not suspect that at all. I gotta say this performance
allowed him to showcase all ship of his voice and
it was very unpredictable. It was a rock star moment.
It was in according assignment. It was a brilliant song choice.
I'm going to give Jordan a Moving on, we had
(08:12):
the largest group of performers Team recycled. They never had
forty five performers on that stage and before in their
pre performance package was a tribute to the Crab before
and this time they utilized all of the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
So they started with the balcony, moving their way to
the floor and then finally and finally stage I loved
(08:34):
how they got the audience involved before transitioning to the stage.
It was one of the best acts of the night
and I got gave them another A. The final act
performance nice was Stevie Ray see ray Laxon. He's from Hopkins,
South Carolina. He's being a bring country and fucked together,
fucked the music together. It's the first He was the
first live Golden Buzzer of Season twenty, and this is

also the first time that his parents are seeing him
perform outside of shows. His original song through the rodeo
it was CMA ready. I loved the performance. Steve has
a bright future. He reminds me so much of Chapelheart
and Drake Milligan like what they did with this show,
and I'm gonna give him a B plus some guys.

All I got to say is I am so excited
to reveal the winner to you, But first we have
to get to the performances and everything, So hey, buckle up,
we have a lot to get to. So the show
started out with Eric Lloyd in Top ten singing the
Birthday song, and there were flashbacks from past seasons playing
on the stage. Then we have the final backstage, behind
(10:27):
the scenes moments of the season. In all honesty, you
had an hour to do that we did not need that.
We could have recognized the agto eleven night that were
in the audience. I think that the producers need to
really focus on what to do for their next one.
So anyway, moving on, we got the biggest waste of
time ever, Michael Palace and Manuel Tozio. It was a

waste of time. It should have given micha spot to
Barbara Vedia season four runner up of AGT and the
fourte tenors who made it to the Top four on
season eight. They would blew the roof off the Pasadena
Civic Center auditorium and I would be cheering on so hardly.
So moving on, We've got Leo High School Choir and

Ali Black. They performed the man Alo. Black still has
the voice that gives me chills and the performance put
a smile on my face. Moving on, we got Jordan
Blue and Danny O'donahue. They performed break Even, the song
that started Jordan on his agt journey. I love seeing
the script frontman, and I really hope and Danny and
(11:32):
Jordan have the opportunity to record a song in the future.
And even I love hearing that Danny offer Jordan a
spot on a twenty twenty sixth script tour. I really
hope Danny honors his word and gives a spot to Jordan,
because he that would be so great for him. Moving on,
we had Stevie Red Latson and Leo High School choir
(11:54):
seeing bloots like mine. I kind of wish that they
had Drake Milligan or Chapel Heart who are touching music Trailblazers,
or possibly Shaboozi or Morgan Wallin do something with him,
or ports Malone do something with Steve Ray Ladson. It
had been much better instead of staying the choir at
the background answers. Moving on, we got the best performance
(12:15):
of the evening that came from Lightwire and Leona Lewis.
If I when I first started this was going to
be in their names, I'm like, this is gonna be
an interesting combination, and then I did rot and I
gotta say, as much as I love hearing Leona singing run,
that song for Me this year belongs to Stacey Bladbetter,
who performed on BGT earlier this year and as of
(12:39):
this recording. Her audition on a BGT channel got over
six million views in one KSI's Golden Buzzer. The thing
that I have a problem with is I could not
hear Leona's vocals at certain points of it. Otherwise it
was a spectacular presentation. Moving on got and now you

see me, Now you don't cast and they interacted with
three of the goats of AGT Magic, Matt Franco season
nine champion, Piffed the Magic Dragon season ten finalists, and
of course two time champion of Regular and Spinoffs shin Linny.
So the cast each gave the magician a guitart card.

Shinn's had Judgment, Matt had the Empress, and piff the
Magic Dragon had Hermit and the cards formed a red diamond,
and they delivered that diamond to the AGET stage and
Terry's broke with a sledgehammer and turned out that it
had the name of the million dollar winner. That was
one of the best creative tians I have ever seen

with a movie and with the show, and I hope
to see more in the future. Moving on, we had
Team Recycled and Siarra. I did not see this combination coming.
Sire's a super performance, but she ate up Team Recycles Tom.
I think it was great visually, but I wish that
Team Recycles was incorporated more into serious performance. Moving on,

he had Sierra Mara, Circa Mara and Jessica Sanchez. Now
I really wish jessks someone to see with her was
Leona or for me, I would love to have seen
a reunion with her and Jennifer Holiday. And American Idol
fans know what I'm talking about, though, Go on YouTube
and google Jessica Sanchez Jennifer Holiday, and I'm telling you

I'm not going from Idol back in twenty twelve. That
performance still stands the test of time. Moving on, we
got Richard Goodall the season nineteen Winter return, and I
think and he's still the same guy. He's still working
in school. However, he's met a lot of incredible people
like Lenny Kravitz, Dana Carvey, and Dana Spade, and he's

working on new music. And I think he's performed with
one of Journey's frontman, one of Journey's men, Sean Jordan
Mon stage. Was great seeing Richard back on the stage,
although I kind of wish we had a Heidi Glome
cameo because that was Heidi's only Golden Buzzerrack winner. But
maybe she can win another season. Hopefully she returns. But however,
moving on, Yeah, Chris Turner and with Boma, Saint John,

Akie Watson, I believe I wish we had this was
another time waster. I think you have Chris there can
he I wish he could stand up again some of
the stand ups in agg history. He had Vicky bar
Black and my jigs take with Jake about is your
friend Vicky bar Black in the building. I would love
to see that, Chris, do do go joke up with Vicky?

Or maybe I had Drew Lynch out with min fun
or Tom Cotter the or Preacher lost It or Mikey Manfield,
Mikey Winfield. I got to say, that would have been
a much better option than seeing Chris Turner joke around
with Bozma Saint John. Anyway, moving on, we had Mama
Duke and Sainted and they it was a pairing. I

was very surprised and enjoyed it. They performed Mama Duke's
breakout song, It's So Good to Be You. It was
a very fire repair and it's and Sainted's appearance definitely
elevated the song to new heights. Before we could get
the results, they did one more montage of the top

fans from each act, and I got to say this
to put the producers and production team, we should have
had the top fan messages at the first hour recap
because that would be so much better. But hopefully you'll
find a chance to do it when season twenty one
comes around. Now we get to the top five, and

this year's top five is Chris Turner, Likeswire, Jessica van Schez,
Jordan Blue, and probably one of the biggest shockers of
them all, Leo High School Choir. I was very impressed
they made it to the top five, and for the
first time in a long in a while, Jake's Takes

with Jacob El Shark Acts to Watch has four out
of the five Acts to Watch. I've made it to
the top five, so I'm so happy and excited. So
now we get to the final rankings and fifth place
was Lightwire, and I was so surprised that Lightwire came
in so low because They were probably one of the

best technical and dance and visual dance act of all
of the season, and one of the best ones we've
seen in a while. And I kind of wish they
were in the top three. But however, America, I don't
know what's going on here. Moving on to fourth place,
we have Leo High School Choir. And then the biggest
shock of them all was Jordan Blue being denied the

top two. He came in third place. I was wow.
I think Jordan has a bright feature ahead of him.
I definitely think moving on, I think moving forward, I
could definitely think in the history books we could see
that fans were shocked that Chris and Jordan blush and
switch places. And speaking of Chris, he's in the final

two with Jessica Sanchez. Now the moment we've all been
waiting for the winner as season twenty is justin good Sanchez.
I was so I screamed when I heard Terry read
the name. I was so so happy that Jessica a

lot because in all honesty, I was scared the history
was going to repeat itself and Jessica was going to
be the nid of honor yet again. However, justice for
Jessica and Jessica's now officially now in the pantheon of
AGT and she is Sophia Bergard's second Golden Buzzer APT

we have a lot to get to. So the show
started out with Eric Lloyd in Top ten singing the
Birthday song, and there were flashbacks from past seasons playing
on the stage. Then we have the final backstage, behind
(10:27):
the scenes moments of the season. In all honesty, you
had an hour to do that we did not need that.
We could have recognized the agto eleven night that were
in the audience. I think that the producers need to
really focus on what to do for their next one.
So anyway, moving on, we got the biggest waste of
time ever, Michael Palace and Manuel Tozio. It was a
(10:49):
waste of time. It should have given micha spot to
Barbara Vedia season four runner up of AGT and the
fourte tenors who made it to the Top four on
season eight. They would blew the roof off the Pasadena
Civic Center auditorium and I would be cheering on so hardly.
So moving on, We've got Leo High School Choir and
(11:11):
Ali Black. They performed the man Alo. Black still has
the voice that gives me chills and the performance put
a smile on my face. Moving on, we got Jordan
Blue and Danny O'donahue. They performed break Even, the song
that started Jordan on his agt journey. I love seeing
the script frontman, and I really hope and Danny and
(11:32):
Jordan have the opportunity to record a song in the future.
And even I love hearing that Danny offer Jordan a
spot on a twenty twenty sixth script tour. I really
hope Danny honors his word and gives a spot to Jordan,
because he that would be so great for him. Moving on,
we had Stevie Red Latson and Leo High School choir
(11:54):
seeing bloots like mine. I kind of wish that they
had Drake Milligan or Chapel Heart who are touching music Trailblazers,
or possibly Shaboozi or Morgan Wallin do something with him,
or ports Malone do something with Steve Ray Ladson. It
had been much better instead of staying the choir at
the background answers. Moving on, we got the best performance
(12:15):
of the evening that came from Lightwire and Leona Lewis.
If I when I first started this was going to
be in their names, I'm like, this is gonna be
an interesting combination, and then I did rot and I
gotta say, as much as I love hearing Leona singing run,
that song for Me this year belongs to Stacey Bladbetter,
who performed on BGT earlier this year and as of
(12:39):
this recording. Her audition on a BGT channel got over
six million views in one KSI's Golden Buzzer. The thing
that I have a problem with is I could not
hear Leona's vocals at certain points of it. Otherwise it
was a spectacular presentation. Moving on got and now you
(13:00):
see me, Now you don't cast and they interacted with
three of the goats of AGT Magic, Matt Franco season
nine champion, Piffed the Magic Dragon season ten finalists, and
of course two time champion of Regular and Spinoffs shin Linny.
So the cast each gave the magician a guitart card.

Shinn's had Judgment, Matt had the Empress, and piff the
Magic Dragon had Hermit and the cards formed a red diamond,
and they delivered that diamond to the AGET stage and
Terry's broke with a sledgehammer and turned out that it
had the name of the million dollar winner. That was
one of the best creative tians I have ever seen
(13:47):
with a movie and with the show, and I hope
to see more in the future. Moving on, we had
Team Recycled and Siarra. I did not see this combination coming.
Sire's a super performance, but she ate up Team Recycles Tom.
I think it was great visually, but I wish that
Team Recycles was incorporated more into serious performance. Moving on,

he had Sierra Mara, Circa Mara and Jessica Sanchez. Now
I really wish jessks someone to see with her was
Leona or for me, I would love to have seen
a reunion with her and Jennifer Holiday. And American Idol
fans know what I'm talking about, though, Go on YouTube
and google Jessica Sanchez Jennifer Holiday, and I'm telling you
(14:30):
I'm not going from Idol back in twenty twelve. That
performance still stands the test of time. Moving on, we
got Richard Goodall the season nineteen Winter return, and I
think and he's still the same guy. He's still working
in school. However, he's met a lot of incredible people
like Lenny Kravitz, Dana Carvey, and Dana Spade, and he's
(14:53):
working on new music. And I think he's performed with
one of Journey's frontman, one of Journey's men, Sean Jordan
Mon stage. Was great seeing Richard back on the stage,
although I kind of wish we had a Heidi Glome
cameo because that was Heidi's only Golden Buzzerrack winner. But
maybe she can win another season. Hopefully she returns. But however,
moving on, Yeah, Chris Turner and with Boma, Saint John,
(15:17):
Akie Watson, I believe I wish we had this was
another time waster. I think you have Chris there can
he I wish he could stand up again some of
the stand ups in agg history. He had Vicky bar
Black and my jigs take with Jake about is your
friend Vicky bar Black in the building. I would love
to see that, Chris, do do go joke up with Vicky?
(15:40):
Or maybe I had Drew Lynch out with min fun
or Tom Cotter the or Preacher lost It or Mikey Manfield,
Mikey Winfield. I got to say, that would have been
a much better option than seeing Chris Turner joke around
with Bozma Saint John. Anyway, moving on, we had Mama
Duke and Sainted and they it was a pairing. I

was very surprised and enjoyed it. They performed Mama Duke's
breakout song, It's So Good to Be You. It was
a very fire repair and it's and Sainted's appearance definitely
elevated the song to new heights. Before we could get
the results, they did one more montage of the top
(16:22):
fans from each act, and I got to say this
to put the producers and production team, we should have
had the top fan messages at the first hour recap
because that would be so much better. But hopefully you'll
find a chance to do it when season twenty one
comes around. Now we get to the top five, and
(16:44):
this year's top five is Chris Turner, Likeswire, Jessica van Schez,
Jordan Blue, and probably one of the biggest shockers of
them all, Leo High School Choir. I was very impressed
they made it to the top five, and for the
first time in a long in a while, Jake's Takes
(17:06):
with Jacob El Shark Acts to Watch has four out
of the five Acts to Watch. I've made it to
the top five, so I'm so happy and excited. So
now we get to the final rankings and fifth place
was Lightwire, and I was so surprised that Lightwire came
in so low because They were probably one of the
(17:27):
best technical and dance and visual dance act of all
of the season, and one of the best ones we've
seen in a while. And I kind of wish they
were in the top three. But however, America, I don't
know what's going on here. Moving on to fourth place,
we have Leo High School Choir. And then the biggest
shock of them all was Jordan Blue being denied the
(17:51):
top two. He came in third place. I was wow.
I think Jordan has a bright feature ahead of him.
I definitely think moving on, I think moving forward, I
could definitely think in the history books we could see
that fans were shocked that Chris and Jordan blush and
switch places. And speaking of Chris, he's in the final
(18:12):
two with Jessica Sanchez. Now the moment we've all been
waiting for the winner as season twenty is justin good Sanchez.
I was so I screamed when I heard Terry read
the name. I was so so happy that Jessica a

lot because in all honesty, I was scared the history
was going to repeat itself and Jessica was going to
be the nid of honor yet again. However, justice for
Jessica and Jessica's now officially now in the pantheon of
AGT and she is Sophia Bergard's second Golden Buzzer APT
