Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hello, everyone, Welcome back to a very special initiative Jake
Sake with Jacob elash our podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
The reason why it's so special is because.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
The man on the right, on my right, he just
won challenged forty one.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
That's versus new threats. Please help me. Welcome back to
the podcast. Army hichelo.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
That's up, Jacob Man, thank you for having me. So
happy to be here, dude, really looking forward to to
chopping it up man, talking about the final talking about
what we've seen, how everything's been all right?
Speaker 1 (00:48):
He hear me.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
First, I gotta say this, I was right?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Are you right?
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Going to make that vile man?
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Do you have no spoilers? You have no spoilers, you
haven't seen at all. Sorry, that's a fairy. You know what?
We can still say, you're right, that's all right?
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Absolutely absolutely So. Yeah, maybe we got a lot of
ground to cover because this is part two of your
game talk. So let's get back to the moment where
you and the Beeves arrived back in the house after
setting home Johnna and Gabe.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
So what what's what through your mind as you walk
back into the house.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Oh, dude, I was uh, I was relieved. One hundred percent.
I was very like, I was very elated. I will
say I was pretty tired though. It was very late
night that elimination, so just getting back to the house,
I was very very much ready for bed, but I
was I was really happy, you know what I'm saying,
Like to go into elimination for the first time in
(01:47):
my challenge career and then to uh to come out
on top. You know. I sent Gavin John a Holm
it felt really good, and uh, you know, me and
Avive we went into uh we went into the back
of the house and we sat together and we just
like held hands to each other and we were like, man,
I'm so We're just so happy right now. It was
a great moment.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
So that just continued because in Punch in your Face, Sorry,
that was the episode time everybody, I'm not gonna bunch
hearing me face ever ever, ever one on the Running
Man Challenge. So why did it mean to not only
win that daily challenge but to also go to the
film premiere?
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Dude? It was It was awesome. Just the fact the
fact that we won that challenge was unreal, you know
what I mean, Like coming out of elimination into that challenge.
It looked freaking gnarly and on that that challenge was
so cool in my opinion, it was like one of
the best all season, you know what I mean. We
ran to those uh, those containers and we had to
undo the chains and the ropes, and we ended up
(02:47):
winning because we just we just murdered those chains in
those ropes. We were doing a really really good job.
We had a great strategy, but to win that movie
was so great and uh. And then here in real time,
I think I just went to the premiere of The
Running Man, probably like three or four weeks ago, and
(03:08):
it was so great, Jacob, I gotta tell you, I
took my mom. My mom was my plus one to
the premiere and I got to take her there. She
got to buy a dress and dress up, she got
to walk on on the carpet, she got to see celebrities,
and obviously we got to watch the screening early. But
it was just an amazing just like opportunity to involve
(03:29):
and bring my mom, Like, you know, she told me
how grateful she was to do it, to be there,
and there are so many times we were there. She's like,
I can't believe we're here. You know, there's you know,
for a big chunk of our life. You know, we
never felt like we would ever belong in that kind
of setting. So the fact that we were able to
get there, it met the world.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
You belong everywhere, my friend. Don't let anyone stop you.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Thank you, but I appreciate you, dude, all right, So
we got to.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Talk about the game move that changed everything. You made
the biggest move of the season when you claimed Olivia
and am I being bam.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Loosel So why did you say? Why didn't want to
risk on Olivia?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
On Olivia and leave your partnership with the viv which
you guys were swimmingly perfect and to work with Hope,
to have the opportunity to work with Olivia, who you've
been targeting since day one.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, no, man, it was that was a huge It
was a monumental play and it felt that way. The
nerves felt that way before I performed the action. And
like you said, man, I had been working probably from
the beginning, or at least from the point in which
(04:53):
she helped Derek Travis try and rally numbers up against
me to get me put in an elimination. I had
been working against her the entire time. So the fact
that I had to stake a claim on her was, uh,
was tough, man. You know, idea, I really didn't want to.
I didn't want to leave Aviv. I love I love Aviv,
and she was she was an amazing partner. And we
(05:15):
were killing it, dude. We were killing the challenges. Our
communication was perfect, we had a mutual interest. We really
really wanted to get to that final together, and uh,
you know, our backs were just up against the wall
and it was the last thing that that we could do.
And she wasn't. She didn't feel like her staking a
claim was going to have the same outcome that it
(05:37):
would have if I stuck it. So yeah, that day,
having to muster up the courage, it wouldn't have been
possible without Aviv and Sydney. Sidney was a huge component
of helping me to remember my why and helping me
to remember who I am and that I need to
(05:58):
always continue to try.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
I agree. I agree.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
That was probably one of the most chaotic moments I
have seen in seasons, and I was probably insane, and
we'll get to a little bit about it. However, with
one surprise partner, there was a very and I was
a little and I apologize. I'm going to be a
little bit of a fanboy here because there's another team
I've been working, I've been rooting on for a while,
(06:24):
and you want to guess who what that team wants?
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Oh? Was it was it?
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Uh? Somebody fell off?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
No no, no, no no no, somebody worked with the
half a fellow bond because yes, because here's let me
tell you before we preface this whole thing. I've said,
sadrig I got to give a shout at Seddrick because
he did. He and I have been interacting with the
instagrams that he was. He's one of the team, my
(06:57):
team members of Team Jacob, So that was that thing.
And also I went I had the opportunity to go
to Bryce and Wendell's Survive a watch park in Kansas City.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Chat at to Bryce and Wendell. They're incredible.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I did meet Mikayla, and one thing that stood out
to me was I saw and Mikayla one of the
nicest people I've ever worked saw with. But the thing
that stood out to me was MICHAELA went out of
her way because there was a super fan and drove
all the way from Minnesota he hurt her and her
mom and she facetimes Cedric and they talked for almost
twelve minutes. That was so that moment really made me
(07:31):
awe of Cedric and Michayla. So what I want to say,
and I apologize because I was very disappointed in that
narrative near the end of that portrayed Cedric and Michaela
as villains when they worked, and I lost a lot
of respect at Nonny. In fact, I came at her
on Instagram in the old school Simon Kowl Howard Stern
All Simer style when she went on that when I thought,
(07:53):
call hers everything in the book Ben and shout out
to Ben and both and an unmutual friend, Pierre said, Jacob,
that was not right when I said when I said,
I said, I don't want to say that because I
do not like giest Lie.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
I understand, I understand, but everybody's got different perspectives. It
was very Uh, it was. It was a crazy time, dude.
Taking that claim was I'm telling you, I I described
it this way several different times, but taking that claim
was the equivalent of me like just dropping a grenade
in the house. It blew everything up. People had these
back door alliances or these back door uh deals and
(08:27):
stuff like that that they thought it was gonna happen
like this. This is what was gonna be the outcome
of this, Like I mean, they just they thought they
were gonna get me man and uh and we saw
what happened.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, And I've got to say that I went on
literally ripped Nanny new and the way that she yelled
at Cedric mccalleman, because that was so unnecessary.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Wrong. And believe me, I'm almost right to tept if
I see it.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
I challenged me and you or Zach Nichols event live events.
I maybe tapped do a little bertie that.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
That I made that Donna spur the trouble trouble. But however,
I was sad and disappointed.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
That you fell with fell off with a fellow veteran
because I thought that veteran things would always stay together.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
But I could be but I was wrong.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Yeah, are you talking about like my little three way alliance?
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Yeah, I with Cedric and with yet with turb I
believe Yeah, man, I.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Mean what did you think about that? What did you think?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
I did not see that coming.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I did not see that coming because I did not
see you. I did not have the cards of you
and your you and Cedric going to Turba. I thought
you would probably go to Derek or Potassium.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Well, that's the thing, Jacob is, we actually did not
go to Turbo. Turbo came to us after he was
the victim of a stray vote in the in the
Izzy nomination. I think there was a stray vote that
got cast on to Turbo in d when they were
partners at that time. After that happened, Turbo grabbed me
(09:58):
and Cedric and and was like, you know, all these
all these you know people over here, all these bets,
they're gonna target you. They're fake as hell. We need
to partner up. We need to ally together and make
it all the way to the end. And uh and
we can run the final together, Turbo said, you, me
and Cedric, we were all in the same closet. There
(10:19):
was actually a flash of that on the screen when
Cedric was actively denying that that alliance was ever even
held true. And if you didn't catch that, what are you?
What do you think about that?
Speaker 2 (10:32):
I did not catch that moment. I did not catch
that moment. So you caught me, my friend, you caught me.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Well, it's it's tough, man, it's tough. But that was
that was a big thing that happened to me after
the stake of claim. One of the big one of
the biggest pieces of knowledge that was revealed or exposed
to me after the stake a claim was one MICHAELA
was the root of this. Like everybody tried to say, like, oh,
(10:57):
Nanny and Justin jumped board, jumped out or upstairs alliance
jumped off board, switch to the other sign botuses in,
But in reality, Mikayla was the catalyst of the move
by asking for me to the other side prior to
that happening, and then Cedric knew about it, didn't tell
(11:18):
Will and also denied knowing about it when asked if
he knew.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Oh, okay, okay, So yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Hey, I'm just here, Jacob.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
I'm not on I'm not trying to trash talking nobody.
I am just giving you the facts. I am here
to inform you of what happened in that house and
what was revealed to me after that and how it
made me, how it made me change my perception of
different people in the house.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Alrighty, alrighty, So we're all going to have some different things.
It's like, And I told you on my first interview.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
You know I'm a writer.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
When I have my writer eyes, you know about my people.
So yes, I always try to make make sure that
my people are okay. Yes, so believe me, I am
gonna it's gonna be like if Jay, If for example, Jay,
Sarah and Paula Califierry are on the same season together,
I will be shredding, be sad, tourns apart because those
(12:16):
two are my books. Like you and Cedric are like
my cousins of the new Jen generation. You and Ben
and Justin and Seid and Cedric are my cousins, honorary cousins.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
So to see family torn apart like that was not happy.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
And I knew there was something on because I saw
that Ben Cedric like Ben's thing and do you like
Justin's things?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
So I knew there was something. I knew there was a.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Clue there earlier, all those, when all those, when all
this started. So all right, the challenge can change on
a die, my friends.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
So absolutely can.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Man, You're right, all right, we got to talk about
that final So as you walked into the into like,
I gotta get my friends Pierre and Zach shadow because
that podcast you watched, you watch that winning moment.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
So what were so before this event started?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
What wortants through your mind when like, Okay, this is
the first this group is going to watch me win,
or like how is it going to how is that
gonna be possible? Like how did you mentally prepare yourself
saying Okay, they're gonna either cheer or scream my name
or they're gonna.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Be like what the heck? Yeah? Man, my reaction, bro
is like you you uh, everybody is cheering for different
people in the final, right, some people are cheering for
two teams, some are charing for one team. But everybody
has their teams that they want to win. Right. So
when I was like, you know, Zach and Pierre are
(13:47):
gonna watch this, you know what are they gonna think?
Are are they gonna you know, are they gonna argue?
They're gonna be on my side? I wasn't really thinking
about if they were gonna be on my side or not. Man,
I was just hoping that their reaction was going to
be that of watching what it was. I mean, it
was an absolute comeback, man, Like the hardest comeback that
(14:12):
you can think of, and it was unpredictable and unexpected,
and the fact that it ended up happening like that
is something that I'm really happy about. And I really
wanted the reactions from not only the audience but from
also other challengers to see that, to feel that, you
know what I mean, to be like, wow, this was
(14:34):
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Like this was.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
This is part of the reason that we watch certain
shows like that, right, Like movies are crafted in the
way that they are with suspense building right all the
way to the climax, and most times shows are not.
They are let loose, right Like we competitors, We compete
and how it falls is how it falls. So the
fact that this final ended up being what it was
(15:00):
was was just like moving magic created in reality. It was.
It was just an incredible uh you know, ending to
a beautiful season.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Absolutely. So let's talk about some elements of the final.
One element I got to talk to you about was
he j s the Vinyl chance to steake a quay.
So what went through your mind when he said time
for the last stake of the claim was season?
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, man, I was. I was surprised that the steak
a claim was happening, right, because I was like, oh, hell,
I couldn't believe it. But I was also like, I'm
really curious. I like almost like stepped forward and looked
down the line. I was like, I want to see
anybody who is going to muster up the courage to
(15:48):
do this right in my head, And a lot of
fans' responses have been that they wish that I stuck
a claim on Sydney. Sidney stuck a claim on me.
But when we dissect that game, we see that, we
see that Sidney, I mean, she could have stuff claim
on me to be with me, but besides that, she
(16:08):
really had no reason. Right, Sidney was a front runner
in this in the final by a significant amounts, right,
like a really large margin, and Turbo's really really good
at puzzles, So in her head she was like, I
have a super solid partner. Even though they didn't get
along super well as partners, they were one hell of
(16:30):
a team, right, don't fix something that's not broken kind
of philosophy. And for me, I can tell you straight up,
I was just exhausted. We had done so much that
first day, so much running, so much elevation game. I
got my ass whooped on the StairMaster, which Alli y'all saw,
and I had to swim in that lake, so I
was cooked. I was like, no, I'm good. I am
(16:51):
good with Olibya. I looking back on it now, I
think the one person that it probably would have benefited
the most would have been Adrianne or or Cedric. I
mean Cedric's was kind of massive, like his partner was injured,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
And that's the West called West called Michaela's ankles in
are Anisa era in her era, Sorr.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
That was West riding, not me. I was just reporting.
That's hilarious, bro, that's hilarious. But but yeah, man, I mean,
like a huge props to Mikayla because she you know,
she thlugged it out through that whole final. But I mean,
if we're gonna be talking about strategy, Cedric's look, okay,
this game gives you certain twists like stake acclaims, and
(17:48):
they allow that, and it's for a reason. It is
like a hail Mary attempt to better your game, right.
The only the thing is is they take an exceptional
amount of courage. They also are an enormous risk and
if you can choose to use them, in the right time,
(18:10):
they can completely change the trajectory of your game, like
you and everybody saw, after my sake a claim. And
I think that if Cedric tried to, like if you
could have mustered up the courage to do it at
that point, that was the very last chance that the
challenge gods were giving him to be like, hey, take
(18:31):
your fate into your own hands. You can you can
grab Olivia, or you can attempt to grab Olivia, and
if you do, you might give get yourself out of
this this you know, final hole that you're in with
Mikayla's ankle. But again, there's always different, different ways of
looking at things, and he chose the very very honorable
(18:52):
and very loyal path of staying with Mikayla and choosing
to finish it all out with her, which I think
is very respectable.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
And now we have a lot of respect for Cedric.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
But that, like I said before, to you two are
in the new faces of the of the new of
your new generation. And I gotta say this, I have
love to see you guys on a season, but however
we got it. I hate to bring it up, but
that insidious connect.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
For I know, bro, Oh my god, you would think
that that, you would think the Connect four is like
rocket science. For me, that's the thing, bro. And I've
gotten all these like reactions like yeah, I mean, like
how did you lose three times in a row? And
I'm like, I don't know. I mean, like, how do
you lose Rock Paper Scissors four times in a row?
(19:41):
Like you know what I mean. It was like one
of those things where like you've played Connect for in
your life and I tried to. I played all the
way to the end on every single game, man, but
I just lost. And it was devastating, you know what
I mean, Like we went from second to last and
got a ten minute time penalty.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Oh yeah, that one.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
However, that comeback the final climb, you guys. I've never
seen you guys so energized. It was like watching you
like if Goku brought Android eighteen and you guys are
partnering it up, and you guys charged up the mountain
s THEO and Adrian, who by the way, did not finish,
passed Cedric and Mikayla who got third place. Finally you
(20:27):
overtook Sydney and Turbo and plodded over that. That was
for I gotta say this, and I said, it's one
of my most liked tweets from the Challenge of it's
Howie Mandel going like this, Yeah, I love AGT by
the way, So I had to put that. So I
was congratulations to the Uremi and Olivia for waiting to
(20:48):
create one of the greatest comeback stories in Challenge history.
What did it mean to pass pass Sydney and Turbo
and then unlock that chest?
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Yeah, man, it it meant everything, dude, it meant everything.
Because what my favorite thing about this final is is like,
we weren't supposed to win, you know what I mean.
We were all the way in the back, and this
final proved that you can if you are willing to
(21:23):
fight hard enough, you can change anything. And you know,
so many other people, if they weren't in the position
that me and Olivia were at at the bottom of
that mountain with a ten minute time penalty, not even
being able to see Sydney and Turbo looking up this mountain,
would have been completely distraught, you know what I mean.
(21:44):
They would have been completely defeated, and it was very
difficult to not be defeated in that state. But you
had to just focus solely and just concentrate all of
your energy on on just pushing man. Like I remember
telling Olivia at the bottom of that mountain, I was like, man,
(22:07):
after that connect to her, I was like, this is
gonna be hard, and it's and it's it's been hard,
but this is gonna be the hardest part. And I'm
going to kick it up an extra year, which is
gonna make going to make it even harder on you.
And I'm not gonna break you, but I need you
to know that this is not gonna get any easier,
so please just just just be here with me. And uh,
(22:30):
you know, she was like, I've been trying so hard
this whole time, and I'm like, I know, I know
you have, but it's do or die here, right, you
have to be willing to die out there, and we
were willing to die. Moving up that mountain. We did
not stop at all. I think there was one time
that Olivia like was in dire need and she was like, year, me,
(22:50):
I absolutely need to stop. And I told her. I
was like, okay. I was like, I'll let us stop,
but we're only going to stop for fifteen seconds. And
in those fifteen seconds, take your big breaths, take your
big breaths. Do whatever you need to do. After those
are done, we're going to continue to go. And she
didn't complain. She didn't, she didn't want her moan. She
took her fifteen seconds and we continued on.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
And here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
She did that pregnant. She did that pregnant. After all,
after all, it's been revealed she did that pregnant, which
is incredible. The only time I've seen that happen in
modern day child was when Melissa Reeves made the final
total of total madness. But however, they had a lead
because she was pregnant. Matter really because she was pregnant.
But like I gotta say, good for good for Livia,
(23:37):
good for you, and good for her baby.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Yeah the challenge, baby dude. And to that respect, I
will say that I think Olivia's story is so great
because of everything that she wanted us how to do
in her challenge career, all of the ups and downs
and all the all the differences that she's had. But
in this season, I mean, she was a staple, right.
She had been trying so hard from the beginning. She
was an enormous target. There were so many things, although
(24:03):
odds were against her for a really really long time
and the fact that she was able to push through
that final the way that she did really just highlights
and is a testament to the resilience of Olivia, you
know what I mean, Like she put it all out there,
and being pregnant on top that is just an additional
(24:27):
element of things that she had to deal with. Hormones changing, right,
all of these different things that are going on and
changing in her body, and she had to do that
all why we were literally in the pits of hell
fighting our way for that crown and she did it,
and that she has got to be one of the
strongest mothers in Challenge history.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Oh yeah, oh yeah. I definitely want to see a
mother up between her and Rachel Robinson in the future.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
That would be really good.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
All Right, So, as I mentioned before, I'd like to
learn can you take us back when you and a
live back to that did Zach Nichols live event where
you guys watched that when you guys unlocked it and
you saw that for the first time?
Speaker 2 (25:14):
What was that reaction? Like, can you take us in? Like,
can you describe what the crowd was?
Speaker 3 (25:19):
Yeah? Man, So like we were in the Alamo draft house, theater.
We had vented it out for the Zach Nichols podcast
and we held a meet and greet with a watch
party and a live Q and a after and we had,
you know, over one hundred people show up, and it
was amazing. You know, I got to uh, we got
to sign posters and answer questions and take pictures with
(25:41):
a lot of the fans, and it was one of
my favorite parts. I absolutely love connecting with this community
because I in myself am a fan and have been
a fan of the show for the last five years.
So when I get to meet other people who are
genuinely passionate about what this show is, what it stands for,
(26:02):
and the people that get to our privileged to compete
in it, I'm very very happy and I feel like
I can geek out with all of them. And it
was just an amazing time. And we all got to
uh to meet for a while, and then we sat
down to watch it. Everybody got to order food to
their seats, everybody got to order drinks to their seats
because we were in Alamo Draft House and UH and
(26:24):
you know, we were watching it and it was so
cool to be in a movie theater with a row
full of my family and a theater full of amazing supporters,
and every time I was I was surpassing a team
on that mountain. You know, everybody was getting hype and
they were cheering. There was whistling, and then you know
(26:45):
the moment where where we pushed through the final ascent
to the top of the mountain, like you know, everybody
started cheering the link and park music was on the screen.
I mean, the energy was electric in there, man, it was.
It was amazing, bro. It was amazing to be in
(27:07):
a room full of such passionate people for this show
and for them to be cheering for me in my moment,
one of the largest and most impactful moments of my
entire life. To get that much love, to get that
much support in the time that it was happening, I mean,
it meant the world to me.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Man, I'm so glad to hear that. And I, guys,
just a little give you every one moment.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
I did then the army a private video, because the
thing is, I do that to every every one of
my friends that.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Makes a final. So I was so proud of you.
I was, yeah, I was like, come on, I was
like so happy when you had that, because the thing is,
I was so happy wouldn't want thank you.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
I appreciate that you're welcome, But I gotta say this
as someone that's a surreality TV geek.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
You just came back from the overt Edge weekend.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
How was it seeing some of the challenge for family
members but also other members like your Amazing Race Survive
or Big Brother? So what was it like we're able
to geek out and then I'll say, okay, wait a minute,
just in case we're on Traders or something.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Yeah, no, dude, it was. It was so great. Man.
I didn't really know what to think about going to
that event. I'd never gone to an event of that
stature before, and I will say the only downside of
it was that it was extremely overwhelming at times. It
was essentially like a very long social endurance event. But
(28:36):
it was awesome, man, Like I got to meet so
many different people from so many different shows, like we're
talking Squid, Games of Challenge, Naked and Afraid, Big Brother,
The Amazing Race survivor The Challenge Destination X. You know
what I mean, Like we're like, are you the one?
Whatever it is we met? I met so many people
(29:00):
and I love it because I don't watch all these shows,
you know what I mean. So to be able to
talk to them about what was your life like on
the show, what was your experience like, how did it go?
Did you like it?
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Did you not like it?
Speaker 3 (29:10):
That was amazing. And then at the same time, getting
to spend time with so many of the fans of
all the different shows that were there. It was incredible. Man, Like,
I got to spend real genuine time with the people
that watch and that make this show what it is,
you know what I mean, the army that creates the empire,
(29:33):
you know what I mean? Like that was an amazing
part of it for me. I really really enjoyed to
not only hear everybody's stories of where they came from,
how far they flew to get here, how much they've
been enjoying it, but their thoughts on the season, what
they thought about the new rookies, what they thought about
the final right, what they liked and what they didn't like.
I loved hearing about it and it was so much fun.
(29:55):
And then meeting all my all the extended Challenge family
bro I met like, I met absolutely legends there, you
know what I mean. Like I I met Mark Long
for the first time. I met Pauli for the first time,
I met Fessi for the first time, and Jordan.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Because the thing is, I want to see a battle
between you, Eassio and Jordan's so bad because I'm even funny.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Yeah man, yeah dude. But he was, like, he was
just a really awesome guy. I met all of them.
All of them were great. They were so great, you
know what I mean. Like I had certain, like I
don't know, like expectations on meeting every single one of
them and what they might have been like just based
on watching them. But every new member of the Challenge
that I got to meet, I just was blown away.
(30:43):
They're they're so amazing, and it was it was awesome
to hear what they had to say about the challenge
and their life and where they came from, but also
to to get their their compliments to me on what
had just happened. So it was it was an awesome,
awesome event. And I would love to say this to
(31:04):
your your listeners and your viewers. Anybody likes reality TV
in any form fashion, you have to make it out
to one of the over the edge of celebrity weekends
because it is a night it's not even nice entire
weekend to remember, and it is so much fun.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
I may have to go out one these days and
maybe I may have to he call something with Scott
a panel or something.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Reality TV's got talent, maybe Judge.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Yeah, dude, there's you know what I mean. And the
best thing about that is so many people have so
many different ideas on things they're willing to collaborate on
and things like that, you know what I mean, So
exactly what you're talking about. I mean, you could do
like these those on the fly like TikTok interviews where
someone's just like filming on a flashphone and you're just
have a little mic and you're interviewing them about their
show or just little questions and you can literally hit like,
(31:55):
you know, like a hundred different you know, reality TV
players that an event like that, I mean, they're the
options for creativity and ingenuity are completely, you know, just
out of this world. At that event, you can do
so many different things.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
All right. That might be I may put a pin
in this and put it out and now we put
it out in the universe.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Maybe I might be visiting over the edge in twenty
twenty six, Fingers crossed everybody. But however, I want to
go back and talk. Now, you're part of the really
Challenged family. Are there some legendary members of your clan that.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
You want to face off in future seasons? And why? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Man, there are definitely There's tons of people from my season,
in my and my my rookie class that I would
love to see back and that I would always love
to compete with because they're you know, they're awesome people
and awesome competitors. I will say Sydney all day. Love
her to death. She's one of the best things.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
He's tell Sydney to come back reconsider.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
I know she's so adamant that she doesn't want to,
but man, I think she needs to bro Like Sydney,
Adrian was a was a killer, you know what I mean. Gabe,
Gabe deserves a crazy redemption story. He's and insane competitor.
Will Will Me and him didn't even really work together
at all, but he is a killer competitor. He brings
a lot of life into the show with a lot
(33:18):
of the things he does and the stuff that he
gets into. So I think he would be great. And
he's just like across the board, really really good already,
said Adrianne Man. Cedric. Of course, bro Cedric is a
dog dude. Cedric is so good. I love Cedric. I
think that he is a great competitor for this show,
and I think that he also really enjoys this show.
(33:40):
So I think it's something that he absolutely should come
back for. He's going to be, in my opinion, he's
going to be one of the new faces of of
this era and they absolutely need to have him back.
But there were so many people brow, there were so
many people that were.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
So person and the mutual friend of ours, Ben the
Bane Davis bro Ben.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
Brent was dog broke. He had the heart, you know
what I'm saying. I think that, and he was just
like Ben was one of my best friends, Bro. I
miss him all the time. But I loved the heart
that he brought to that competition, you know what I mean.
There are some people that don't try that hard, or
they don't they don't put that much emphasis into it
or maybe even take it that serious. But Ben was
(34:21):
really like he really cared to be there, and he
really tried his best, and I would love to see
him get a call back. I have to agree.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
Like the thing is I would love to see you
take on like either a physical challenge or an eating
challenge with Tony.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Okay, Tony time, I think would be fun.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
And then also, I know you had Ashley, but have
you experienced the terretic force of Amanda Garcia?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Amanda Garcia? No, I don't think I know who that is.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
You don't know who Amanda is?
Speaker 3 (34:52):
I don't think so you're not talking about You're not
talking about like Devil Horn Amanda. Yes, oh okay, I
definitely know who Amanda is. Then yeah, No, I like Amanda.
She's cool, bro, She's kind of like Ashley, you know
what I'm saying. I think she brings so much to
the show. I think she's so much fun. I would
(35:14):
love to play a season with her, just to just
to get to meet her, get to know who she is,
hear her story. She has a beautiful story. I'm actually
watching her right now. One of the seasons that I'm
watching in my current like Challenge. You know a lineup
is Spies, Lies and Allies. So I'm watching her compete
on it right now and I'm loving I'm loving it.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
She's really cool, she's amazing, and of course you got
it a lot of people have been saying for Carl
Maria to come back, but also bring Marie Rhoda with her.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Marie's been napsing for so long.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Okay, yeah, I definitely don't know her, but.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Half a cow.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Yes, I'm gonna need to check that out. Bro, I'm
not gonna lie like I have not. I haven't gone
past like season thirty. Yeah, i haven't gone past season
thirty to watch, so I've been watching like the last
ten year one. So I'm not super familiar with any
of the players who come from before that era. But yeah,
(36:10):
I'm sure you know. There are so many people that
they go on the show and they make an incredible
name for themselves, and I would be happy to see
any of them back.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Oh yeah, absolutely absolutely. We'll talk off camera afterwards. Back
who I think would be wonderful for you. In fact,
I'm going to name and name drop. I want to
see you go up against Rachel She's one of the
greatest women ever to do the show, and coming back
after a long period of absence to claim it would
be great. And also a guy that I've been waiting
a long time to see you back. I would love
(36:39):
to see how you would be able to go up
against either Shane Landram, Frank Sweeney Fox or Pollen.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Nice. Yeah, that's a great lineup. Yeah. I love Rachel.
I haven't actually met her before in Florida. She's so
so nice and she's absolutely ripped too. I love that
for her. She's so fit and just watching her on
like Season forty and stuff like that, I really like her.
I really like the style that she plays. She's incredible.
(37:08):
She's an incredibly strong female and an incredibly strong competitor too.
So I hope that I get the honor and privilege
one day to play with her as well. And I
would love to play with with you know, Paulie and
Frank eventually one day too. So we'll see how it goes. Man.
You know, we got a lot of We've got a
lot of future left, so I hope that I hope
(37:30):
a lot of these things line up one day.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Alrighty, And also congratulate since I'm making the first for
an Amazing Race, you are officially the first Amazing Race
alone to win show.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
So now does that mean that you wrote that purse?
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Hey, that's really cool, man. I hope so, Bro, I
hope so. Being from the Tar family. I I've gotten
a lot of love from from the fans from my show,
from the fans or from the the competitors of The
Amazing Race that also like the Challenge. I've gotten a
lot of a lot of praise from them, and I
(38:05):
really appreciate and I love them. And I hope, man,
that this helps to show the Challenge community, but also
like the reality TV community as well, that The Amazing
Race has has some really incredible competitors, you know what
I mean. And I know that we are underrepresented in
the Challenge often, but there's a lot of really really
(38:28):
good competitors that are in there, and I think they
need more of an opportunity to get to, you know,
cross pollinate and compete on the Challenge. So I hope
that I was a no. I was hoping. I hope.
I just hope that I'm so many that can show
the Challenge in general, that you know, this this show
can compete.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Too, absolutely, and I think you are truly a role
model for that community or me. So last question, are
you ready?
Speaker 1 (38:57):
I'm ready, man, Let's get it where my audience connect
with you on social media.
