After helping break the Curse of the Bambino by winning the 2004 World Series with the Boston Red Sox and thereby achieving legendary status, Johnny signed as a free agent with their hated rivals and nemesis, the New York Yankees. In 2009, he won a World Series with the Bronx Bombers, joining only the Bambino himself as a player to win World Series with both teams. Currently, he is focusing on bringing a nutritional edge to all through his new sports drink, appropriately named, A-GAME.
