This scene shows radical friendship and unshakable faith. The paralyzed man couldn’t get to Jesus on his own, but his friends were relentless. They tore through a roof to place him before the Healer. That kind of determination and love moved Jesus deeply. It’s a picture of intercession—lifting others when they can’t move forward independently.

We’re called to carry one another in faith, prayer, and action. Sometimes, your faith will be what brings someone else to a breakthrough. Be the kind of friend who lifts, persists, and believes in others, especially when they can’t do it alone.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You honor bold faith and the compassion that brings others to You.

CONFESSION: I haven’t always gone the extra mile to help others encounter You.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people who have carried me in prayer and stood by me when I felt weak. Thank You for showing us what true love in action looks like.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, give me eyes to see who needs to be carried closer to You. Make me a faithful friend and intercessor. Let my faith not only impact my life but lift others, too. May my actions reflect the love that makes a way where there seems to be none.

Dear Lord, You went to great lengths to free me from sin and shame. You exemplified what it means to be a true friend by laying down Your convenience for the sake of my comfort. I pray that I would do the same. Every day, I know there are opportunities to show Your love and sacrifice. Give me vision and clarity to see those opportunities. Give me the conviction to act. I want to be a good friend who stops at nothing to bring my friends to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
