Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's another weekend. The movies are in theaters. Sometimes they're
worth your money, sometimes or not. That's why we talk
to Jason at the Movies. Jason Man, what's going on
in theaters this weekend?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Three movies all coming out this week. We'll start off
with the animated The King of Kings. This is an
animated movie about Jesus because actually is Charles Dickens telling
his son about Jesus and then they imagine themselves walking
hand in hand with him. As I said before, family
movie animated and actually getting some pretty good reviews. Also
(00:30):
getting good reviews. That's actually had a lot of promotion
really for like a month or so, would be the Amateur.
This is the new Romi Malick movie along with Laurence Fishburn.
So Romie Mallick plays a guy that works for the CIA,
but he's just a decoder. He's in the basement, but
his wife is killed in a terrorist attack and so
he goes to the powers that be and says, hey,
(00:51):
we got to do something, and they go, nah, don't
worry about it. So he takes matters into his own hands.
Also getting pretty good reviews.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
And the last one you got is.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Drop. So this is probably my pick for the weekends.
This is a movie about a woman who she's a widow.
She goes out on a first date. Everything's going great.
Then she starts getting air dropped messages to her showing
that somebody's in her home and is threatening to kill
her child unless she kills her date.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Dude, that's in my lane right there. That sounds like
John Wig vibes.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, yeah, it does. And I also kind of like that. It's,
you know, kind of a cheesy throwback. Let's just have
some fun.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
You can check out the movie reviews with Jason at
the Movies every single week with the iHeartRadio app of
this podcast, or you can hear it right here.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Thanks Jason, Hey, you got it.
