Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, the weekend is here in every Friday. We talked
to Jason at the Movies, who's been in movies bragger
much anyway, also TV and stuff too, But you tell
us what to see streaming or what's in theaters. And
this weekend's got a couple of big ones too, right, Jason.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Huge, huge weekend, two massive movies. We've got the eighth
Mission Impossible movie, the Final Reckoning, the Final Mission Impossible. Yeah,
I don't know, I mean, I mean, none of these
things really ever die, especially Tom Cruise, but this is
a nice little button bow that he's putting on the franchise.
I've seen it, the biplane scene especially, and there's a

(00:39):
couple of others are really pretty fascinating and you know,
surely edge on your seat. But it's not the best
one in the franchise, which is not an insult. All
the Mission Impossible movies are very watchful, very good, and
this one's good too, but it just it's not quite
as good as the last few have been. It is
getting really good reviews and the pop corn meter is

(01:01):
really up charge with this one.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Nice. I like that, you know, and Tom Cruise, don't
is all own stunts being the ag is they're pretty incredible.
I hear too, and Jason, as long as we've known
each other, you know, I'm not a fan of the
live action movie remakes they do of Disney. But how
is Leelo and Stitch gonna do well?

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I was doing some research earlier because I thought, well,
which one is going to make more money this weekend?
Is it Leelo and Stitch or is it Mission Impossible?
Leelo and Stitch is projected to make twice as much
money as the Mission Impossible movie, So this is projected
to do really, really well. Disney still kind of licking
their wounds from the Snow White live action which did

(01:39):
not perform well. But this one's tracking really good, looks
pretty funny, is getting pretty good reviews. Popcorn Meter are
pretty good. But the critics say it's all right. But
as I said, stands to make a bunch of money
over the weekends.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
And you've been there, you saw it, and you said
you laughed out loud in the theater, right.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I was laughing. My daughter kept looking at me, like,
why do you think this is so fun? But I
thought it was funny. I don't know what to tell you.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
See every weekend we do this with Jason at the Movies,
we find out what you should see in theaters this weekend.
Clearly it's Leelo and Stitch or the New Mission Impossible
but always if you want to know, go to the
iHeartRadio app and go to the podcast feature and check
out Jason at the Movies and we'll see your popcorn
meter next weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
My man, Hey, you got it.
