Speaker 1 (00:00):
So every weekend we talked to Jason at the Movies
on our iHeartRadio podcast for what's happening in theaters. And
this weekend, Jason, nothing's different. We got good movies come
out this weekend, right.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
We really do. We've got three. I don't know if
they're big movies, but they all have really good reviews
and I think they all have their own individual probably
audience for it too. So let's start off with The
Naked Gun, which is I guess the sequel to the
Originals because Liam Neeson plays Leslie Niels for Frank Drevin

(00:31):
no relation plays his son in the movie, so it's
directly from the original three. This one also has Pam
Anderson with in it. It's a lot like the originals.
It's just joke joke, joke, joke, joke. You miss half
of them because people are laughing. You're laughing all the
way through. It's getting rave reviews and I will say
it is really funny.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Oh really, so we'll laugh the whole time. So Naked Gun,
you want to go check that out. But then Something
for the Kids is out again today too.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, bad guys too. So this is a follow up,
of course to the original Bad Guys animated feature this one.
You know, in the original one, I don't want to
give anything away, but the bad guys try to be
good guys. Oh no, I know, I know, But in
this one they end up getting sucked in by the
bad girls and then they have to go on a

(01:17):
globe trotting heist. Also getting really good reviews and good
animated feature for the families, because you always want something
for the kids to go see.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
The movies absolutely, and then there's the gratuitous horror movie
for the weekend, like we always got.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
But this one looks good.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
I think, yeah, this one looks wild. So this is
together Alison Bree and Dave Franco, who are a real
couple in real life. And you know, I don't mind
horror movies. I like a good, solid, kind of crazy
horror movie. This one always body horror, though, and I
just can't do that. However, I will tell you it's

(01:54):
getting really good reviews by both the critics and the audience,
so people do like this kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
So how do we pick this weekend if we got
three good movies.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Out, I think it's just you find the one that
seems to speak to you and you just hit that up,
or maybe hey go see all three?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, all three. Well, that's why we do this.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
It's the Jason at the Movies podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
If you're ever wondering what's in theaters this weekend, if
it's good, worth your money, should you buy the popcorn, whatever,
always check out the podcast first.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Thanks a lot again, Jason. We'll see you at the theaters.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
All right, you got it.
