Speaker 1 (00:00):
So the weekends here, which means we get new movies out,
streamings out, new music comes out. So we talked to
Jason at the Movies to find out what's new in theaters.
So we got two this week or just one, Jason?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I mean really, there's there's a few little movies that
come out in some markets and some markets they don't.
But probably the biggest movie that's wide is Honey Don't,
the new Ethan Collen movie, so Ethan being of the
Coen Brothers, but the Coen Brothers broke up, which is
really sad, especially if you're a movie fan, because we

(00:34):
love Coen Brothers movies. But this one's got Margaret Qually,
Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans. It's called Honey Don't. Aubrey Plaza
is in it, as I mentioned, but she's also the
main character, being Margaret Qually. She plays Honey and she
is a private investigator who's trying to investigate these strange
depths that are tied to this weird church that Chris

(00:56):
Evans is the is the pastor for so getting kind
of middle reviews. I mean, again, this is why the
Coen Brothers probably shouldn't break up. It's not, you know,
not the best, but I mean I get this something.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
It's something, but then something else is coming back to
Imax this weekend though, too.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yes, they're putting F one back into Imax, and I
will tell you it's one of the best movie going
experiences I've had this year in the theater seeing F
one as loud as possible. So I would absolutely recommend
if you haven't seen it yet, go see it this
weekend and either.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
See, that's one thing that I did not get a
chance to see. So I'm glad they actually brought it
back because you said that before, and you could check
it out in the podcast on iHeartRadio that you're listening
to now anyway with Jason at the Movies. But yeah,
that's one I definitely want to see. So honey booboo
can stick on the side.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Right, Yeah, yes, honey booboo can stick on the side.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
That's right either way. So check out the Movies every
single weekend streaming whatever you want to find out what's
good and what's worth your time and your money. Check

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
