Speaker 1 (00:00):
The weekend is here, so that means more movies at
the weekend or streaming. So we talked to Jason at
the Movies who goes to the movie so you know
what you should spend your movie money on or not
spend your money on. So what's know in theaters this weekend, Jason?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Probably the biggest release this weekend is the How to
Train Your Dragon Live Action remake, which you know, I'll
be honest with you, I haven't been huge on a
lot of these Disney live action remakes, some of us,
some of them I have not. This is one that
I really loved. I really loved the original animated version,
(00:37):
but this one is really cool. There are some things
about it that don't quite translate when you go from
animation to live action, but overall, I really really liked it.
And it is ninety nine percent on the popcornd Meter
on Rod Tomatoes from the audience, so people are loving it.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
So that means everybody's going to probably go stair away
from that becu they've already seen Leelo and Stitch and
everything else they're in. Go ahead and go to How
to Train Your Dragon a Live action right now? And
then there's a comedy in no horror movie this weekend.
I thought it was kind of weird, But what's the
comedy this weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
We've got Materialists. So this is Dakota Johnson. She is
playing a New York City matchmaker. Oh but then she's
torn between the perfect match and her ex which they're
played by Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal. Also getting pretty
good reviews, but totally totally different then How To Train
(01:31):
Your Dragon Live action. It's kind of like counter programming.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
So send the kids over to one theater and then
you take your date to the Materialist. Right there you go,
all right, Well, if you want to find out whatever
is going to be in the movies or streaming, whatever
you want to see, we got the guy that's been
all of them. Yeah, he's been to all the awards
shows and everything else. And it's Jason the Movies on
the iHeartRadio app
