Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jason at the Movies actually talks about movies every single
week in here on the iHeartRadio podcast, just so you
know what you could spend your money on when you
go to the theaters. And there's a lot of stuff
in Imax this weekend, right, Jason.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Yeah, there is. They're actually so they put f one
back in Imax, which we mentioned last week, so you
can still see that this weekend. But on Friday night
they're running the Prince movie Son of the Times, which
is kind of cool. It's like a concert movie the
level of Purple Rain. It's still pretty cool. But then
the big thing that I'm excited about and I actually
have tickets for, is Jaws, where its fiftieth anniversary is

(00:34):
back and it's in Imax. It's going to be really
cool to see that in the theater.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
All I forgot that was coming on Imax. That is
going to be cool.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah, for sure, that's the one. I already got to
my tickets. I'm rolling to it, Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
And then we got like, what two other movies come
out this weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Two other movies that have big cats and they have
good reviews. First one being The Roses. This is Benedict Cumberbatch,
Olivia Coleman, Andy Samberg, Like I said, great cast, Jay
Roach to the director, he did Austin Powers Meet the
Foker's that sort of thing. So this is a remake
of the eighties movie that is War of the Roses,

(01:08):
where this is a couple that seemingly is very successful
as a great family, but under our deep things, it's
really bubbling up and then they lead to divorce that's
going to cause all kinds of craziness. The original movie
is pretty wild. This one's getting pretty good reviews sixty
three percent on rot Tomatoes, although I'm really not that
interested in it. I thought the trailer was bad for

(01:28):
this movie, but it's getting good reviews.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah, but Andy Samberg right, you can't go wrong with that.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I do like Andy Samberg.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
So what else is in theaters for the last one
we got coming on this weekend?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Okay, cot sealing another great cast. We've got Austin Butler,
Regina King, Zoe Kravitz. This is a guy that his
neighbor says, hey, can you watch my cat? And he goes, yeah, sure,
and then next thing he knows he's caught up with
all these rival gangs and criminal minds and all these
things happening in the city and he's got to navigate that,
but he has no idea what's going on. Getting really

(01:57):
good reviews, this is my pick for the weekend.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
See if you're gonna go to the movies this weekend,
you've got lots of options, lots of back in Imax,
especially because it's a holiday weekend. The Roses caught stealing,
and you can always hear what's going on in the
theaters or streaming whenever.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
