Speaker 1 (00:00):
Every weekend we talked to Jason to the movies about
what sitting theaters or like. This week there's a new
streaming one, So Jason, do we go theaters first or
streaming first? This week?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Well, I think you know, the new Wicked for Good
movie is going to be huge. Yeah, and the biggest
box office of the weekend, And I mean probably in
contention for the year because the Wicked following is so
large and the first one did so well. This, of
course is the follow up to Wicked Part one. If
you're a musical fan, Wicked Part one was the first

(00:31):
act of the musical. This is the second act. Everybody
knows or for the most part, that the second act
is not as good as the first act. You know,
the first one's got those bangers in it. This movie is, Yeah,
it's okay, It's got some good parts. The ending I
actually thought was really emotional in the last frame was

(00:52):
was pretty awesome. But otherwise I hate to say this,
but it's really just Wicked or pretty good.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
That's not good, especially after they've been putting so much
behind it. Now, thanks Ariana. Time for a sandwich girl. Okay,
Brendan Fraser's got something news week. I saw he was
on good Win in America the other day. What's he promoting?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Now? Okay, so this new movie Rental Family. Brendan Fraser
plays the data and his luck actor in Japan, and
he gets hired by this service to where you can
come and just you. You're an actor, so you can
maybe they hire you to go to a funeral, or
they hire you for a wedding, or I need to
hire you to be my dad at this meeting that

(01:33):
we're going to have. Of course, he ends up getting
emotionally involved with certain people. I really love this movie.
I think this is probably going to end up in
my top ten at the end of the year. It's
getting really good reviews. I've talked to some other people
that saw it and didn't quite love it as much
as I did. But I was really charmed by it.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
See, and I'm a Brendan Fraser fan. I mean I
love everything he's done. So I think this is going
to be in my lane as well. And then you
went on to last week to do something with Netflix
for what show was it?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Now? Yeah? So it's a new movie, Train Dreams. It's
based on a novella and it's Joel Edgerton. It's Felicity Jones,
William Hmathy, It's got some people in it. It's really
kind of a melancholy, poetic movie about early twentieth century
this guy and him going up to the Pacific Northwest

(02:24):
and just the different things, building a home, meeting his wife,
having a trap. It's really one that sticks with you.
It's a beautiful movie. It's maybe not for everybody, but
it's streaming now on Netflix that I would recommend it.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, I'll totally check that out because i need something
new for my Netflix watch list because I've been in
like all the mood stuff for so long. But every
weekend we talked to Jason at the movie so you
can find out what you should do, whether it's like
in theaters or streaming, and we will talk to you
next week again.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
All Right, you got it.
