like a year expired and somebody found it in a
desk drawer twenty nineteen or like this.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Where all of the same thing is up there for offering. Essentially,
it's like someone's trying to kick their liquorice.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Habit, right, liquorice habit, yeah, twenty twenty five, ten twenty one.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Liquors for you, Josh, thank you. It's good weekend, is it?
By I mean a lot of family crap going on
for me. We had a friend birthday party for read,
so we went over to the Mills Mall there in
Golden and went to Slick City. So let the boys
play there for a while. It's at indoor place with all.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
The slides and everything.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Oh that's fun.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
They get all stinky and sweaty and which is really
spot on. I mean, on the way there, the car
smelled fine, and we've got a big old suv so
we got like nine people in there, you know. So
on the way back though, I had to crack the windows.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
It was sweat. It was really really bad.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
They are at that age where it's like, oh, I
can smell you guys.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
So we did that. My nephew had a birthday on Saturday,
so we.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Were over at my sister's house for like nine hours, uh,
playing and farting around.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Cookie monster theme.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Your family's birthday parties are like they all day of bed,
they go all day.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I forgot it was this weekend and Nicole's like, hey,
we've got you know, the nephew's birthday.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
I go, oh, well, there goes Saturday. But it was
good we had.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
It was a cookie monster theme, and they had a
cookie Monster pinata for all the kids and then all
these big cookie monster blow up balloons that we were
all being very inappropriate with a few cocktails.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Tell me there's lots of cookies. There was a lot
of cookies. There's good food. It was good food.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
And then don't get jealous, but the highlight.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Of my Sunday.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Our entire main floor is hardwood floors. So we've got
large like rugs, like in the family room. It's like
a family room size rug. You know that everything's on
so you at least have some softness. And then there's
also one in our living room and they were due
to be washed, so we pulled those out on the
driveway at like eight am on Sunday because the front
of our house just gets blasted with the sun. And
(03:25):
we were out there powerwashing the gigantic rugs out on
the driveway, waking everybody up.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
I was like, I bet your neighbors love.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
We are such early birds. And we were out there,
you know, and we're hitting them with so.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Power washers are loud, Yeah you're yeah, neighbor.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
And then we were looked at Nicole Empires like, hey,
it's only eight o'clock. She's like, oh my god. She's like,
you're right, we're such early birds. We're pissing everybody off.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Probably.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Anyway, the best part was though, towards midday, when the
sun had moved to the back we decided to pick
the rugs up and move him to the backyard. And
one of them was a little lighter of a rug
and we zipped it right into the backyard.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
The other one that was on the driveway was like a.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
It's a really big, thick, heavy rug, easily one thousand
pounds full of water.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Oh gosh, no, we moved it.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
We did.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
We had to try to hoof it to the backyard,
and I, oh, you know what I should do. I
should pull up some of my I should pull up
my Cameras we were dying laughing, She's like, if anybody
is watching us right now, they are having a pretty
good show of watching trying to huff this thousand pound
rug into the backyard.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Look at the clowns.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
I look at these idiots.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
And we ended up having to call the kids out,
and I'm like, what are the kids gonna do?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
And they helped us like pull it into.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
The back and I scraped it over Nicole's foot because
the bottom of them it's like really rough, so like
pulled skin off of her feet. As I'm trying to
pull it, I like pulled all my fingernails backwards.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
I was like, this is the last time we're doing this.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Your neighbors like this is what they get for wakeness.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
This is what they get. You know what we're doing
next time? You know what we're doing. We're calling zero res.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Yeah, there you go, buddy.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
He did it.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
I don't know either.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Like Nicole even said that. As we're pulling it in
the back, She's like, why didn't we just get zero
res out? Here and you're like, I.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
I know the guy who does it. They are the best.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Thank zero, Rest you Monday, don't be jealous.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
That was the highlight of my Sunday. What was your
guys this weekend?
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Mine was good.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I we were out of Broncos training camp again and guys,
but the first big injury happened good Sanders, No, it
was not, Thank god, Broncos linebacker Drew Sanders. He had
some tendon injury to his foot and he got carted off,
which is never a good sign.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
You don't ever want to see that.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
And he's, uh, he's like this up and comer defensive
back who is he's very very good win healthy and
unfortunately it's looking like he's gonna be out for some
extended time, like into the season, which is something that
has happened the last year and a half two years
now with him, which is such a bummer because you
just don't want to see that. Training camp was going
so well so far with the injury bug and injury luck,
(06:17):
like really nothing was going on, you know, knock on wood,
and then the first big one happens and you just
don't want to see that.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
That's not fun. But training camp this weekend was very busy.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
I know we do this all the time in my family,
but I had more family come in from Texas over
the weekend. Those are the guys that actually showed up
on the training camp video that we talked about last Friday,
and it's so much fun. Those are people that I
usually get to see like once every two years or so,
and it's so fun to see them and talk about,
you know, what they've been up to and how grown
their kids have gotten. Oh my gosh, it's crazy to
(06:48):
see as like a cousin or uncle when you don't
get to see family and young children very often because
they sprout up like yeah every two years and you're like,
holy crip, right.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
So we don't need to talk about that.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
And then my sister, So, my sister hosted that party, and.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Is this your hot sister?
Speaker 5 (07:04):
It all beautiful.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
It's my older sister, Jeremy.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
A gorgeous like.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Anyway, So she hosted and I've never been to her
house and it was awesome. Yeah, and her huh yeah,
her husband and her Yeah, they got a new house.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
And it's funny.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
They live out way way way down in like South
Parker and wherever you go, like you look out their
backyard and they're just wild animals everywhere. Like I saw deer,
I saw wild I almost hit a turkey on the
way in. Seriously, there was like a flock of turkeys.
And then you they see bears out there, they see elk,
they see all these different animals, which is really cool
to see.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
They keep their small children inside out.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
They do well.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
They have a bunch of dogs that'll ward off the predators,
so don't worry. But one thing that was funny was, uh,
my brother in law has a golf simulator and you know,
me and golf. I love golf so much, so I'm like, hey,
let's try that thing out when the kids get playing
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
And he was like yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
So I'm out there hitting this golf simulator and everything
and I'm you know, I'm doing all right, having a
good time. And the cool thing about is you can
choose wherever you want in the world to play that course,
and you can play that course. And so I'm like, well,
let's play some fancy courses.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
So I do that.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
We're hitting the ball and then like I hit this ball,
it hits off the screen.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
And bounce it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
The ball bounces off the screen and then decides to
bounce off of my face and it hit me right
above the eye, like on my eyebrow, and it hurts
so bad.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
I've never been hitting the face with the golf ball.
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
So the rest of the night I felt like an
idiot because I got injured using a golf simulator and
I had ice up to my face trying to talk
to my family the rest of the night. Oh yeah, no, yeah,
above my eyebrow or above my eye. It it hurt.
And I was like, I'm the guy you know over
there that's like it's fine. Oh, I'm okay. And then
I'm like, am I bleeding?
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Is everything okay? You know? Talking to my brother? Oh seriously,
I'm like, did we drop that?
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Dad stitches?
Speaker 3 (08:59):
But oh my gosh, it hurts so bad, you guys,
it was terrible. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
And then yeah, the rest of the night it was
so funny. I was like, oh, I don't need ice.
I think I'll be okay. My Mom's like I'm watching
it swell up in real time, Josh, so we should
probably get.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
You some ice.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
And uh, I think we're doing all right. This you know,
over the weekend. Yeah, oh, we'll be fine. It probably
was an improvement, but it uh yeah, I got injured
using a golf simulator. So that was a very humbling
thing to happen to me, especially in front of all
the little kids.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
They're like, oh, Josh doesn't.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Know how to makeup.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Is covering it up? But yeah, no, the blush is work.
We're working for it. So but it was a fun weekend.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Good Katie will get to you in a little bit.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
I know, I'm sorry you cried like a baby, like
a little baby.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Yeah, well, you can tell us what happened with your
weekend at the beginning of p M I, because that'll
be coming up next. We'll send you on your way
with Katie's story and a positive, a minus, and something
interesting
Speaker 2 (09:52):
This morning with Jeremy, Katie and Josh
