knew right away he was a dork yep u, Hi, guys,
Katie's firing up the YouTube feed, jacking with the cameras
right now? Why do we have an issue with the
cameras every single day? The camera? That's all right, you
don't need to see that. It's all right. What are
you doing? Well, if you're dying to see what the

Speaker 1 (01:14):

Speaker 2 (01:16):

of course at seven point thirty with Fast five. We've

prize today a four pack of tickets to Elitch Gardens,
So double prize again today.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Bro amazing, amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
That'll be come upping up. That'll be coming up at
seven thirty with Jeremy, Katie and Josh. I had the
weirdest day yesterday with just people working at stores, just
young people that have no idea how to communicate and
talk into being public. It's the strangest thing anymore. The
first thing, I mean, I kind of put it's a
little bit on me because I had to go into

(01:54):
Target yesterday and return top a bikini top, just the
top part that Nick Knock and I get picked up
and it didn't fit. So there I am in there
with just a single bikini top standing in line with
my receipt. You have these like creeper. And then I
rolled up and you know, I gave the guy the
top and I said, I need to return this. It

(02:15):
doesn't fit. I go it's too tight on me. Laugh
And he didn't like break a smile. He didn't look
me in the eye. He just scanned it, scanned the receipt.
Would you like that back on the card?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Love it back on the card, sir? So he put
the twenty bucks or whatever it was back on the
card and I was like, man, what a wasted joke
A Jersey.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
How I feel like I totally wasted a joke on you,
Like I can't just go get this again.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
To joke ways.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
He's probably like.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Sir, I'm an hour eight of twelve. He's give me
the courtesy, like, yeah, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
We've all worked in customer service, right is you know,
an expected response and we're just not getting it out there,
not at all.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Give me a I chuckle. And then after the show yesterday,
I wandered over to Park Meadows and did it to
some quick shopping in a store which will remain nameless,
but I was in there and I was looking at
some t shirts and I wanted to try them on.
So I snagged one of the young associates in the store.

(03:19):
I was like, hey, can I try these on? Are
the fitting rooms unlocked? And she just gave me a
blank stare. Like then she goes, oh, okay, okay. I
did think this is that big of a re it
was buffering. She walked back there and she's like, going
to unlock the door and she goes. I said, I'm like,
well that was even too loud.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
What she's a mumbler?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
She I was like, and I didn't know. I had
no idea what she said. So I go, how are
you today? How are you doing today? She's like so,
I don't know if she was asking me like how
many pieces of clothing I had or you know, and
she goes, I'm good. Okay, let me know if you
need anything. I was like, no, I won't, I'm good.

(04:07):
So then I got out of the dressing room and
I went up to the checkout area where she was
doing something. Same girl, Same girl, and I had two
T shirts. One was an Excel, one was a large,
A large one was blue. I wanted the blue one.
I was like, hey, can you do me a quick
favorite and see if you have any of the blue
one in xcel again glazed, and this was a different girl,

(04:30):
same girl, And she didn't say anything. She just pulled
out her phone and started tapping away. I was like,
is she texting somebody? I have no idea what's going on.
She didn't say, yes, let me look up and see
if we have that in stock. She's jacking around on
her phone. Then she boop scans the tag on the
blue one and goes, we don't have it. I'm like,

(04:50):
So then I proceeded to ask her. I was like, hey,
I'm kind of closer down to the Southwest Plaza area.
Do you guys have a store Cellos Plaza? By chance?
Oh my god, you would have thought. I asked her
to do a complicated mass. At that moment, she goes
and then she like did the thing. She stared at
the ceiling.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
What's up there?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
She goes, I don't know. I was like, you don't know, dude.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
You need to know your store.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
You need to know various locations. Yeah, you know, help
people out. Okay, then I'll give you one more thing.
So then I'm standing there that I was like, okay,
I'll take this one then it's the Excel. It's the
one I want as of right now, and she still
stares back at me, and then she kind of turns
around and points to the register behind her and says,
I need to do it here. Oh my gosh. So

(05:39):
she didn't take the clothing item from me and say, hey,
you know what this is great, let me ring you
up on this site. Come on around. I was like okay,
and I had to grab the T shirt and walk
around to the other side, and then there was just
no talking from there.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
She wanted you to hold her hand through her drop.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It was the weirdest thing ever. And obviously she was
probably I don't know what i'd pay her as nineteen twenty,
twenty one, twenty two, probably right in there, early twenties.
You know, she went home to her parents and she's
like this man asked me hard questions today, really hard.
I don't even know if she can make her way home, honestly.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Right exactly, she's probably still lost.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
She's probably sitting at the food court, like at the
Panda Express, wondering how to get home as of this morning.
You know, it was the weirdest thing, you guys, And.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Those interactions like I had one kind of similar where
I was walking around in a store and you know,
it's like a department store, and then within that store
there's a makeup store, right, and so you have the
woman from the makeup store standing out there at the kiosk,
and it's like as you walk by, you know, it's
just like the people at the mall. At the kiosk,
they're trying to make eye contact with you so they

(06:48):
can sell you stuff or tell you about the lady.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I never, right, don't ever exactly.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
I know the kiosk people are like, oh my gosh,
but I feel bad for them, and I'm like, I'm
gonna at least make eye contact with you, and exactly
are knowledge you so you don't super day we're ignoring you.
And so I'm walking by and this woman at this kiosk,
I like, try and make eye contact with her, and
she immediately looks up and starts looking around like she's me.

(07:14):
I'm like, oh my god, I'm doing you a favor.
I am trying to make you feel better. Now you're
making me feel awkward, Like your whole job is to
talk with employee, with customers.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
You're in the public, you're trying to make a buck.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah, you're supposed to talk to me, That's the whole point.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
I would just stand there next time and stare at him.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
No, like you would have thought that I actually said
some awful thing to this woman, the way she looked
around and was trying to avoid eye contact with me.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
But and again, another young person.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
I'm like you in your.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Head in your phone so much that you just don't
even know the basics of manner, you know. Oh my gosh,
why they well, why these people are like, you know,
who needs.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
To be our customer service, front of house person?

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Any choices? So this is who's worst. Shelley is the
only option when it comes to these stores in the mall,
it's gonna be younger people, younger kids generally, so slim pickens.
Probably at least if you look halfway decent, they're probably
gonna hire you. You can talk or not.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Secret shoppers again.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Like you know, I was tempted to take the survey
at the bottom of my receipt. I was tempted, and
I generally don't do that. Hey, side note, can we
get rid of those stupid kiosks in the middle of
the mall? I know, does anybody even buy anything from
those people? I walk by them so fast, I mean
so fast, Oh God, And I like those if they

(08:39):
give me a new screen protector or something. You know,
who's the worst. I was assaulted at least three or
four times yesterday. What massage? Massage like this? One guy
on my way out, I was way past him and
I hear it's like and I turned around. It was
like me, He's like, yeah it was I was like, no,

(09:02):
half way the hell out of here.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
He thought you had nice shoulders.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
I maybe he was into me. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
That's it. You know, that's it.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
You're sprinting after you. They need to hire that guy
and put them in the store that.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yes, that guy knows how to talk to people. You
need an excel sir, what

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Oh shopping
