Speaker 1 (00:01):
Jared, Katie and Josh one hundred.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
What's up my little t MoU team.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Hey dude, the flap sail nugget.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Good morning, Hi everybody, Good morning.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
That's not good either. No shave my head.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I told you I was gonna do it.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
It looks I did it. I did it. Oh that's
what Nicknack said.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
She's like, you look tough.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
And I was like, oh, stop, we have salad for dinner.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
A light bollad. IM feeling a little heavy te.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
A little blow. But I murdered those croutons.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Brood man, Yeah, it feels good.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
I was standing in the well. First of all. I
was driving home yesterday and I had.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
The sun roof open to my truck and I was
looking in the rearview mirror and I was like, man,
I see a lot of scalp. Oh sun was beating down.
I was like, screw this mess. So yeah, last night
before I got the showers.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Yea, yeah, really good though when you cut your hair,
really so good.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
You gotten a shower afterwards though, you're like, oh shampoo,
now you shampoo.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Just get to cut your own hair too.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I took it, took the number two blade to it,
and yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Then Nick Knack went around the edges and just trimmed
me up in the spots. I couldn't do the back
to just a little back around the neck.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You know, got the neck hand.

Speaker 6 (01:18):
I cut my hair too, but it's I shouldn't. Takes
about a week for me to get it even. Oh
there's a bee yours.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Look, thank you very much. I like it. Yeah, it's
just so low maintenance. I'm all about that.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I will tell you, Katie kat that I put your
magnet up on my fridge last night. For those of
you that don't know, Katie came back from New York
City over her break and she brought us magnets, the
little license plate magnets, you know, with your names on them.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah, she got joshue yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
On my fridge.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Perfect.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
And then there's a running joke that I don't remember
how this even came up. I think a listener maybe
called me it, or Josh has called me it instead
of Jeremy called Jimmy.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah, Jimmy, that.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Jimmy.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Listen, Jimmy, it's Jeremy. So Katie got me a license
plate magnet that says Jimmy on It's so happy.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
It was great Like when I saw it, I was like,
I have to get that, Jimmy, Like I absolutely. It
was right next to Josh and I find a Jeremy
on and off, so I was like, Jimmy's perfect, Jimmy.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
It is, it will work.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
So it's on the side of my fridge.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Jimmy, and every time.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I see it, Jimmy, you have to say it like that.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
What else is going on in my role?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I just have one one more quick funny story, and
I want to talk about the Broncos practice yesterday. But
my son last night, I guess was on with a
buddy of his facetiming and you know, school goes back
for them next week, and I've been pushing him to,
you know, work out more, Like you need to start
exercising more, get off your VR headset and get off
the three D printing, and like you're going into eighth

(02:55):
grade and into high school next year, you need to
start doing push.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Ups every day and just you know, becoming become a man.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, start bulking up a little bit so you don't
get taken advantage of in high school.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
So he's been trying.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
To lift weights more and all that, and I guess
he was doing workouts with a buddy of his over
FaceTime last night.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Okay, now do ten push ups. Okay, now let's do
ten curls. Okay, now do some squats.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
And Nicole was just kind of.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Standing back in the doorway, just kind of listening and
watching it.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
She said the best line was Reid told his friend, Dude,
I'm gonna be so jacked by the time school starts.
And we both laugh because school starts on Wednesday. It
looks so jacked by school starts. Okay, all right, so.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I say, like, I ate a salad? Can I be skinny? Now?
That is my logic. I love that Reid's funny.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
He's at least he's starting to work out, and he's
trying to do that thing where he you know, bounces
his pecks.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Hey, that's a big Okay. I was doing it the
other day at lunch.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I was kicked back and I was like, you know,
making the kids laugh because I was bouncing my bob.
And so ever since then, he's been like coming in
with his shirt off after the shower, trying to bounce
him and everything, and it's just so fun.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
But that's a big, momentous, monument like moment when you
can do that, because I remember I was a freshman
in high school when I was able to put on
enough muscle to where I could do that, and my
friends and I would show each other people going on music.
You know, we dance going on Yeah, it was you
do it.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
I've never tried to do that.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Be so jacked, broke, so jack, so jack.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
That is so funny.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Speaking of being jacked and big old dudes, how was
Broncos practice yesterday?

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Dude?

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Oh my gosh, it was hot. First of all, we
sit out in the sun for hours and hours as
they gear up towards the regular season starting in what
three ish weeks?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Oh yeah, man, it's coming in. But uh, it was fun.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
There's a lot of national people that come and go
for Broncos practices. They make the rounds throughout training camp.
My personal favorite was there yesterday. Her name is her name,
Her name is Kay Adams and any why for anybody
that doesn't know who, Immediately with Google search of her,

(05:16):
you'll instantly find out why.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
She's my chest is bouncing again, Yes she is.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
And so when you see her on TV, everybody, I
think when you see on like a stage or a TV,
you think they're bigger than they actually are. Like there's
a lot of country artists or music artists that are
pretty small people. She's a little like pocket sized, fun
sized girl.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
She is so cute.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Oh my gosh, she is so cute and tiny, and
I just want to pick her up and.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
She is beautiful. You pick her up, give her a hug.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Obviously.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
She is actually a fantastic report of the way that
she can get Sean Payton to open up is like
no one else in the media field can do it.
Like she is like so friendly, so kind, and then
she hits you with those big questions and you're kind
of caught off guard. Well she does that, I know anyway,
So she was there yesterday.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
She's so sweet.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
She's awesome.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
I got to see high to her as I froze,
I said, hello, she's awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
She actually it's so funny.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
And I don't know if this isn't a huge secret,
but she brings donuts for the Broncos media every single
year that she comes. So she's so sweet. She brings
donuts to everybody, and they're really I don't know where
the box is blank, so I don't know where she
gets them. She probably I'm gonna say she homemade makes them.
She makes them at home. That's what she does. Yes,
that's what she does.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
I love it. She's like she.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Could feed you a cardboard box and you'd be like,
days have dead.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
I would eat it up. Box.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
She's the best cardboard box I have ever had. So
she was there yesterday. That was fun. And I've noticed
some things too about different because I've been covering the
Broncos now for six years along with the Abs and
the Nuggets. We get to do everything. And I've noticed
with Aves and Nuggets when they do training camps for
practicing games, Uh, when they start to know your face,
you they get lacked.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Security gets back in.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
They you're not a threat.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
No, they're Josh, how are you? They know me by
my name, they're very and Katie you know this too.
When we were doing Nuggets practices and stuff like.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
That, they're so nice to you, Like the security people
are some of my besties out there, incredibly.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
N They're nice.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
They get to know you and they're like, how's your day?
They talk to you and stuff a little different at
Broncos practice.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I've been doing that and.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I've noticed that it it changes with what coach is there.
So with Nathaniel Hackett a few years ago, uh, it
was as wide open as can be. He was like,
bring the cameras, bring your friends, bring your family. He
was so happy, go lucky. I'm so happy to be
a head coach in the NFL, like he did not care.
With Sean Payton, everything is so secretive, tight nipped, like

(07:41):
oh my gosh, buttoned up to the top. And so
now it's like again, I have been covering the Broncos
with the same staff virtually at Broncos for six years now,
and they are like, if you don't wear the right
credential or the right badge or anything like that, they
are like, who are you? What are you doing here?
Why are you here? How long you're gonna be here?
Something must have happened. And I'm like, you know so

(08:05):
and so don't you know who I am? Kind of
though in the.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Yes not the lanyard usually does it totally, especially the
KSC ones like that, how.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Do you get in?

Speaker 5 (08:19):
You have to show additional credentials essentially your social security Now,
I mean, is it's crazy? So like we have so
many media members at Broncos practice for different things like
the altitude sports. They broadcast from the practice area, so
they have their credentials. We have ours. I'm given a credential,
so I'm fine. But in terms of parking passes, normally
you can park in the media a lot, well, there

(08:42):
are only so many parking passes that can go around.
So if you don't get that parking pass, they send
you to about a mile and a half away to
a random soccer field that they're like, go park there.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
That's a great spot for you to park. And you're like, again,
don't you.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Know who I am?

Speaker 5 (08:57):
And that's exactly what they have, Like the well, ourgust
crew out there being like you shall not pass. They
gamned off you out there, and it's one of the worst.
I'm like, I've been doing this for so long. How
do you not know me. I'm not stealing anything, I'm
not videotaping anything. You can't take pictures, you can't take videos.
There's allotted times. And I've just noticed that where the
abs and Nuggets are like, hey, Josh, welcome, something must.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Have happened or I think it's paranoia.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
I mean I really think you know it's it's Sean
Payton being like, do not failm at my practice.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
You'll know, our super secret flea flicker plays and I'm like, oh,
you're gonna see his bonicks through a couple of picks.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah, right now, that's what's happening.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
How's he looking? Not so good?

Speaker 5 (09:38):
Honestly, okay, And this is Price staring at that pretty news. Gosh,
I'm not trying to cause any Hey he's married. I'm
not trying to cause any panic. But Jared Sidam has
looked a lot better than Bonnicks, and he looked a
lot better in the game too, So we'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I think they're just trying some new things, but uh
bo better it is.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
We're just trying some new things like interceptions, interceptions, something
so different this year.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
He's going to close his eyes every time he throws
it up there.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
Colon Sutton's down there somewhere, chuck it, hold and prey.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
That's exactly what it is.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Hold, pray, never broken, go brock brocos. So that's what
practice was like. It was all right, well, good man,
we'll be out there today.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
HOPEFU shirt.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah,
