How was Broncos practice yesterday?

Hot? It was the last one, wasn't It was the

Uh, good on you for knowing that, by the way, today, Yeah,
it was the last one available to the public and
to all of us media members out there. And it
was a joint practice. So the Arizona Cardinals are in
town for the game this weekend, and they practiced and
scrimmaged against each other yesterday, So we got to see
Kyler Murray and uh, Colorado's very own, CSU's very own

Trey McBride probably one of the best tight ends to fague,
Oh my gosh. And they're unbelievable. Marvin Harrison Junior by
the way, too, Jar, I know you love him. I
was out there as well. It was fun. It was
a very high intensity practice. I love the joint ones
because you get to see the teams fight each other.
And yesterday there was there was a scrum and there
was a fight and some punches.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Were thrown, and oh.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah, I like that because I think it's so funny
men get mad each other and punch each other when
they have helmets on, and I'm like, that's just so
funny because it's not gonna hurt that.

So I like that. We got to see a high
intensity practice. It was probably Bonnick's best practice the time. Dude,
the entire training camp periods.

No, but there's an asterisk next to that.

Last year they far exceeded everybody's expectations. I mean people
were saying at the beginning of the season they were
gonna win four games, and so when they, you know,
come out winning ten, that's a solid, huge deal.

Yeah, So I.

Don't know if they're gonna be much better than that
ten win. They might be able to replicate that because
the defense is probably the best in the league. That
defense is unbelievable, so they might surprise us.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
You know, it might defenses win championships.

Josh points a game of you're rights are going undefeated
this year?
Speaker 3 (02:49):
It is a It was good.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
It was hot yesterday. The fires are burning, so it
was very smoky. Had one of the Broncos players have
to go off the field and get into an ambulance
yesterday because really you have like crazy asthma attack because
of all the smoke. So it was very hot and
muggy and very long press conferences yesterday. So I just
baked in the sun like a little baked potato. So
you're happy that it's over for you?
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Or do you have to go back?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
No, not until the season, So once the season starts,
will be going back. But we're in the locker room
at that point, so it's nice and cool, which you
love hanging out in Min's hanging out. Yeah, they walk
around naked in there.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yes, I can't.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Let me tell you something funny, right, Well, it's it's
a lot of it's a locker room. I honestly, I
don't think media members should be allowed in there, that's
my humble opinion, because the poor dudes are like, we
need to shower and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (03:39):

I cannot tell you how many times I have just
stared at the ceiling and counted the ceiling tiles while
a bunch of six foot eight because I'm not the
tallest guy in the world six foot eight linemen walk around.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Yeah.

Yeah, And look, I feel bad for everybody, the men
and women that are in the locker room trying to
do their job because we are we're all professionals here.
But there's naked linemen that are three hundred and fifteen
pounds walking around, and you're just like, oh, yeah, this
is a nice ceiling.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
I'll never forget my time in sports radio and lock arms.
Really yeah, I mean, and sometimes players will just be
like very apparent about it to make you uncomfortable, right,
they'll just get it right out, powdering themselves, you know,
maybe wiggling a little and you're like, oh my gosh,
like because they just they want you to flinch or

like catch you looking right, and so.

You have to look straight up the whole time, and
it's like the most uncomfortable thing it is. But man,
I've got stories about some of those players that I
like to tell people.

I say, like ninety five percent of them do a
good job. They're wearing the towels there. You know, they
get changed in discrete ways. But I do feel bad
un out with my jockstrap on my face.

Jeremy was a professional athlete. I can't.

Oh do you imagine me just standing there in nothing
but a jockstrap trying to interview the players.
