Hi listener Family. If you are asking this question, please have a listen. We all have sinned and have fallen short of God's glory. No one is better or worse than the other in God's eyes. Whether you agree or disagree with someone's sexual preference or gender identity, ESPECIALLY if you're a believer in Jesus, above all else, we are to love and keep loving people as they are (however that looks for each individual relationship/situation connected to you). God doesn't wait to love us until we are doing everything perfect and right in His eyes. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

I say this from a perspective of being personally humbled and corrected by God with this dicey matter, because I used to operate out of a confused pharisaical, or self-righteous mindset for a time, and from what God has revealed to me, I just could never imagine rejecting my son or daughter or loved one, right off the bat, for ANY reason and then call myself a Christian..

Come as you are, because He loves you no matter who says He doesn't. πŸ’žπŸ«‚πŸ™ŒβœοΈ

God told me today that He is not looking for me to be perfect, but rather He is looking for my consistency; the time I intentionally spend with Him on a daily basis, however that looks like between Him and I. And He also told me not to let different things I may still be holding onto that I think He may not like hold me back from still coming to Him consistently everyday, letting go of the shame and guilt of it, pushing past that, to get to Him, over and over everyday. I felt that He wanted me to share that with you, too. I needed that so badly, and it set me free from a lie I was believing, that He wanted me to be perfect already or I couldn't come to Him until I was. No, He just wants me, and He wants me consistently. That's how relationships work, both sides must be consistent for the relationship to survive and thrive. So there's the teaπŸ’―πŸ«‚β€οΈπŸ™ God wants you and loves you, no matter what the world says we are, or even what we say we are. To Him, we are simply His, and He is ours. βœοΈπŸ’œπŸ™Œ
"Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins."

Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, family, This is Jess. I'm Jess in the mess.
I felt the urge to get on here because the
Lord brought something to my mind, to my memory, and
it was strong in my heart, and he wanted me

(00:23):
to get on here to share. So I believe it
was maybe a couple of years ago, maybe even like
three years ago. Me and my sister had went to
this bar one night and I was talking to this

(00:47):
girl at the bar, like at the actual bar part
where you buy the drinks and everything. And at first
she was being like very flirtatious with me, and I
was probably even being flirtatious back, and it seemed very

(01:13):
like those kind of vibes at first, and I was still,
you know, getting to know myself in the Lord and
was having my own spiritual battle within myself going on.
And we got to talking more so, and she had

(01:34):
said something about being a lesbian. And then the next
comment that she made after she admitted that to me,
and mind you Jesus and God, that did not come

(01:55):
up into conversation at all, you know, And so so
she said she was a lesbian, and then she said, uh,
I'm trying to remember her exact words. She said something

(02:16):
about she had been kind of battling within herself about
you know, faith and the whole Jesus thing. And she said,
she just doesn't know if he would still want her
with her being the way that she is, because she couldn't.

(02:40):
She felt like she couldn't change that, like that was
who she really believed she was, or you know, just
her sexual preference, you know, not her identity per se,
but just something that she felt like she couldn't change
about herself. She made a comment along those lines. I
can't really remember her exact words, but as soon as

(03:05):
she said that, I leaned over and I whispered in
her ear, and I truly believe this was God urging
me to do this, and was speaking through me into
her ear. And all I said, all I said was

(03:29):
that does not matter to him. He just wants your heart.
And whenever I leaned back from her ear and I
looked at her face, there were tears streaming down her face.

(03:51):
And she said, thank you so much for saying that,
because this is something that I've been battling with for
the longest time. And she quickly gave me her number,

(04:13):
and she quickly walked right out of that bar that night,
just that encounter happened and she just walked right out,
and I just I felt, I felt her heart be
set free and like a bunch of shame and unnecessary

(04:37):
shame and lies from the devil, I felt it be
lifted off of her and it was just so beautiful,
and it did something in me that night. And I
feel like I was supposed to get on here tonight

(04:59):
and share this because I feel like there is a
lot of people, there are a lot of people out
there who are dealing with that same battle. And I'm
here to tell you that he just wants you. He

(05:22):
just wants your heart, and he will take care of
the rest. He'll give you the answers that you need,
and you need not worry about anything else. Just keep
your eyes on him, open up your heart to him.
He already knows exactly where you're at, what's going on

(05:45):
in your heart, how you're feeling, what you're dealing with,
what things are coming against you. He already knows, So
be open and honest with him because he wants to
hear from you. He already knows. So I was just

(06:13):
supposed to say these words, and I will leave off
right here. I love you, whoever's listening, and Jesus loves
you too, oh so much,
