Speaker 2 (00:56):
Welcome and good evening. You're watching Journey with Joan only
on the Full to Brave TV network. Thank you for
joining me tonight. Tonight we are actually going to talk
about navigating the currents of change. So why did I
choose this topic, Well, because it is February tomorrow and

(01:17):
I wanted to check in to see how all of
you guys are doing on your New Year's resolutions. And
speaking of New Year's, happy Lunar New Year, the Year
of the Snake, the snake reminds us in order to grow,
we need to shed. So that is really all about

(01:39):
what we're going to talk about tonight, which is change.
In order to obtain the things that we really want,
we must be open to change. We must be willing
to let go of our old selves in order to grow.
All right, So what does this entail? Pretty much, what

(02:02):
we resist will persist and it will continue the loop
of what and where we live today. All right. So
the year of changing. So when we're talking about our

(02:22):
New Year's resolutions, we talk about things that we haven't
been able to accomplish or things that we strive to
do and that we continue to strive to be. So
a lot of resolutions are based on wait, are based

(02:44):
on I want to live a little bit better, how
I want to be more positive. So these things when
we go in that way, we start out strong, we
start out really well. But then what happens is it

(03:05):
starts to die down. And why that is is our
old patterns and behaviors start to come up. Meaning in
our minds it says, well, you know what, it's okay,
we won't go to day. And then it's like, oh,
I just don't feel like it's only one day. And

(03:27):
then it just keeps happening, the cycle of no, maybe
next time, Oh I just don't really feel like it,
and then come July we're going, wow, I totally dropped
the ball on my resolutions and my adaptation to change

(03:50):
and the reason being is in the sub conscious level
of who we are. We have these things where if
we've never been able to accomplish our resolutions, what happens
is it starts going on. Of course you've never of
course we're never going to do this. We've never been

(04:11):
able to achieve this before. We've never achieved any of
these things, So why do you feel like you can
do it now? Again? That is within ourselves, and then
it perpetuates for the future, and so it's always going

(04:32):
to be the same, the same, and the same, even
though we don't we don't want that, we shove it down,
we don't want to look at it. But it just happens.
How did that happen? It's a belief pattern, It's a
belief system that we inherited, depending on how old you are. Also,

(04:57):
it just depends on how strong that is within you.
Did someone tell you you were a loser or someone
told you that you could never get anything done, and
then you bought it and sold it to yourself, So
then that's what happens. It just you can never get

(05:20):
anything done. So maybe it was a parent, maybe it
was a teacher. Usually it's someone that was of importance
to us so and of authority. Right? So was it
a boss? Was it a babysitter? Right? All these little

(05:40):
things can help us get stuck in these ruts now. Also,
change also brings a lot of chaos within our body. Right.
Our bodies want to keep us safe, So our mind
and body always have to be in alignment in order
for things to change. When our mind is set, and

(06:07):
it's our subconscious mind that allows us to be who
we are, it creates a sense of safety, and this
safety goes Okay, we did this, It's okay to move on,
So let's continue this path because it was safe, right,

(06:30):
So our body will then go great, that feels good.
It's safe. I'm going to keep that safety. Okay. So
then the moment we throw in let's change this, let's
do something different. I feel like I want to stop eating,

(06:54):
stop eating junk food? Maybe sorry, And then it's okay,
we can do it. You can, you know. It's it's
kind of like a little bit if you will, like
doing a dry january. If you're a drinker and you decided, hey,

(07:14):
let's just do dry january. All of a sudden, your
mind and your body you physically go, WHOA, I don't
know if I can handle this. I don't know, Like,
this doesn't feel safe. It doesn't feel right that I'm
denying myself of this because when I was doing it,
it was safe. Do you see? Like there's so many

(07:37):
different things that inhibit us from growing And sometimes people go, well, no,
that's just crap. You just have to persist and just
keep doing it. And then once you do it, it
will just become it and us to a point, yes,

(08:02):
that can be, but there also has to be a
moment within ourselves where we look and go, why do
we need that? Why are we using that? What is this? This?
In a sense, some people call it shadow work. I

(08:24):
don't necessarily like to call it that because that means
we're in the shadow, but and it gives a negative connotations.
What I like to call it is finding the things
that you are like that you don't necessarily share anyone.

(08:45):
These are the things that we keep to ourselves. What
are those things? What do we quote unquote hide from
other people? And we hide those because we want people
to like us, or we want people to understand us

(09:09):
the way we want them to understand them or us. Right,
So again, it's it's only sharing tidbits or explaining things
about who we are so that people will either like us,
or we can get along with others, or we can

(09:32):
get that job all these things, or actually we could
be part of that group that click that everyone loves
to be in that club. Okay, So there's so many
different aspects to wanting change creating change. Literally, we have

(09:57):
to get out of our own way. We have to
do some work. It's not going to be a little
bit uncomfortable. Uncomfortable in a sense where we have to
truly look at ourselves and honor who we are and

(10:18):
try and understand why we do some of the things
that we do. It's really from being conditioned when we
are younger to what worked to get a friend, or
get ahead, or make a team or live cohesively with

(10:47):
other people. So when we have realized what worked, we
kind of stick to it and we don't allow ourselves
necessarily to sway too much from it because that creates

(11:07):
an uncertainty, and in that uncertainty, it's harder for us
to want to sit in that because when we feel
some uncertainty, wow, it feels a bit feels a bit crunchy,
and we're unsure how this can make us feel we're

(11:33):
unsure if what the future is because as humans, we
like to control things. We like to control and have
control of what we want to do or how we

(11:53):
want others to treat us. There's a sense of control
of controlling our outcome, controlling the future, if you will.
But as spiritual beings, as energetic beings within this body
in earth, we have the potential to have more and

(12:16):
to gain more because the creator, God, Allah, or whomever
you want to address, they love us so much that
they will give us whatever we want. If we want
to be miserable, they gratuate that and they give us

(12:39):
the miserable, the misery right. Misery loves company. And it's
so easy to get stuck in that rut because that
energy of complaining is just so easy because we want

(13:00):
others to feel what we feel. We want others to
understand how we live or feel or have experienced our life.
But based on everything and our changes, everything in our

(13:22):
life today has been based on our past experiences. So
whatever our experiences were, or how we accepted them and
how we live them typically define our future now. If

(13:43):
we can let go of some of those experiences and
really be open to complete change and not worry about
any sort of repercussions and letting go of say control,

(14:10):
we can really honestly start to live and expect the best.
And on that note, we're going to give some love
to our sponsors. We'll be back in two or maybe not.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Welcome back, you're watching Journey with Joan only on the
Bold Brave Tea Network. We'll say that again, only on
the Bold Brave TV network, and I'm your host, Joan Widen.
Today we're talking about navigating the currents of change, all right.
So before the break I discussed about all the different

(17:21):
things as to why change can be difficult, and change
can be difficult because of all the things that we've
lived in our lives. And when all these things that
we've lived in our lives are within us, we start
to radiate that energy out. So there are people that

(17:47):
say to me, Joan, how can I find a relationship?
I want a relationship where the you know, where they're kind, decent, honest, forthcoming.
All these things and their past experiences with relationships were

(18:14):
the opposite. So falling in love was very hurtful, falling
in love cost them money, falling in love meant they
were being taken advantage of, so all these different things
where their experiences were complete opposite. But yet they're looking

(18:43):
for the you know, the good, the kind, and in
order for that to actually come into fruition and come
back to them, they would actually have to sit in
their space about relationships in general, about about any relationship,

(19:08):
whether it's with a love interest or even friends. They
have to sit and go, okay, so, yes I got burnt,
Yes they were mean, Yes I got used, and feel
that energy. Really hone in on that and start to

(19:34):
let go of that of those and I know it's
hard to want to let go of that because that's
our protection mechanism that allows us to stay safe. But
when you let go of that and you start to go, no,

(19:58):
this is what I would like. So you would visualize
this perfect relationship with your friends a lover right, start
to visualize it, but you have to really start, like

(20:18):
really really visualize it. See it as truth, and not
only see it now, you have to also believe it
because you have to. The body has to go. Okay.
It is a possibility. It is one of those things
that I can do. If it's if the mind and

(20:42):
the body are not in synchronization, it it starts to
fight each other. And when it fights each other, the
frequency of what we're emitting, of what we're asking the
universe to deliver for us, is not clear. It is

(21:03):
not clear cut. It's more like a radio wave, if
you will, so you know, for a radio, if you
have an old radio tuner. You have to adjust the knob,
and so adjust the knob just right in order to
get it. And then sometimes it's it's a bit staticky.

(21:23):
Sometimes it comes in clear, but unless you're very precise
and move it there when you're listening to the radio,
it's it can be again staticky, it can be unclear.
Versus if you're like a laser beam. A laser beam
is clear. You can see where it shoots. It is

(21:49):
one thousand percent, there's no doubt about it. It goes
exactly where it is. So think of your thoughts as
a laser beam. It has to be very clear and
concise of what you really want. And not only that

(22:09):
your thoughts are there, but the emotions of it has
to be there too. So the emotions of it, you
have to be grateful to the possibility of the possibilities
that have not even come yet. So the gratitude and

(22:33):
feeling love towards something that isn't here yet. But you
show the gratitude as if you were already in that situation.
So find yourself in that. But again, if your mind

(22:53):
and your body or your heart does not align the
frequency for you to achieve your change, will be more
difficult than it should. Okay, So aligning yourself with your

(23:15):
mind and your body, because it's the tuning frequency. We can,
you know, fake it until you make it. But the
thing is, if you feel poor and you and you
see in your mind that you are prosperous, well off, rich,
but you your heart the emotion of it, you feel poor.

(23:42):
There's no way you're getting that money to come to you.
So fix the relationship with money. Why do you feel
that way? Why are you looking into lack? Right? So
with the relationship, why do you feel well like every
person that comes to you is out to get you?

(24:06):
So start to fix those things. Because when reradiate that energy,
radiate so much in love with the possibility of a
new lover, a new friend, it cannot help it but

(24:32):
to come back to you. It's almost like you know
when kids go, I'm rubber, you're glue. Anything you say
bounces off you or bounces off me and comes back
to you. So it's like when that is, whatever we say,
it actually really bounces like it comes out of us,

(24:54):
and whatever comes out of us, the universe will bounce
it back towards us. So if there's like shame fear, guilt, anger,
really look in and find out why, what are those things?

(25:17):
How did they come about? Within you? When you look
at someone and you go you know that person's got
it all together, or that celebrity or whomever you want
to you use as a person that you want to achieve,

(25:39):
to be be like, or see how they've accomplished things.
When you see them, what is what are your thoughts?
Are you immediately going to the competitive side. When you
go to the competitive side, I'm going to tell you, really,
you're you're competing with yourself. It's not about competing with

(26:06):
other people. It's about you. It's competing with yourself. Like
if you're willing to step over yourself to get ahead,
how does that work? It doesn't work. It actually makes
you feel more crunchy or more agitated and frustrated because

(26:30):
you're not able to reach and attain those levels. But
when we look at it as a not a competition
with someone else and that it's just about us, we
start to tune in and we start to understand how
maybe we are getting in the way of ourselves. When

(26:54):
we get in the way of ourselves, it starts to
look like, Okay, I'm frustrated and angry and I want
to compete. Well, why are you trying to compete when
it's already innately within us. And again, the universe, God

(27:15):
Allah Creator will give us whatever we want. We just
have to emit that frequency out. We basically have to
shed every doubt and every disdain that we have about

(27:39):
life and what we have contained within our body in
order to achieve that. And once we do and we
let go, and we go, Okay, yeah, I know this
is going to happen. I know I can see it,
and I can feel it. I really truly believe it,

(28:00):
then we have to let go. We let it go.
It's like letting go a balloon and you don't know
where it goes. But then the universe brings it back
and gives it to you, and it returns everything to
you the way you want it. It is really that simple.

(28:24):
We can't control the outcome. We have to be open
to the infinite possibility that we broadcasted it out. And
once we broadcasted it out, it truly doesn't matter how
it comes. It really doesn't. So again, if we're emanating

(28:50):
feeling insecure or feeling like other people are out to
get me, or others are doing things to me, or
we have that victimhood energy. That energy is you're always

(29:11):
going to be victimized. It doesn't matter, what, doesn't matter
who the victim, you will forever be. But when we
decide to shed that and let it go completely, we go, okay,
so why did I feel like I was the victim?
Why do I feel this? We sit down and we

(29:34):
think about it, and we sit in it, and it
doesn't feel great. It doesn't. But once we can understand
and hone it in because guaranteed it doesn't happen to
you all the time, and so start to feel all
the times that it hasn't and where you had risen

(29:55):
above it and that you've grown feel that and start
to emanate that out and go, yes, that's what I
would like, that's what I want. And then you start

(30:15):
to envision it and then your body, our bodies, energetic bodies,
our frequency starts to change and it starts to again
signal it out to other people and it allows us
to be who we are with Gracie's and joy. It's

(30:36):
amazing when things happen. And when you start this shift,
you will find that when you let go of the control.
You also will find that all of a sudden the universe.
It will be a surprise and you'll be like, wow,
this actually this actually happened. Wow. Right, and then we

(30:58):
can learn what we do in order to keep it going.
And on this note, we are going to give some
more love to our sponsors. We'll be back into.

Welcome Back. You're watching Journey with Joan only on the
Bold Bravy. I can't say it today. I don't know
why we're watching Journey with Joan Only on the Bold
Bravy Brave TV network. All Right, we're being silly today.
That's okay, it doesn't matter again, it's a change. We're

(33:47):
talking about change, okay, change, the winds of change, change, change, change.
Everyone's like, let's do resolutions, let's upheaval our life, and
let's change now with that. If we do not address
the reasons of why things were the way they were,

(34:13):
they just continue to follow, like I hadn't mentioned before,
because subconsciously they are there. It's emitting without you even knowing,
and it's there, and we oddly are addicted to the
emotional draw that our past experiences have given us. So

(34:40):
it's mind blowing really that we would be addicted to that.
But we're addicted to that because we want to make
sure we are safe. And once we don't feel like
we're safe, we start like a Our bodies go into

(35:01):
a tantrum. It can it can throw us into anxiety,
it can throw us into shakes in it it goes WHOA,
this is not right, I can't handle this, this don't
do it. It goes danger danger, danger. Though change can
be good, obviously, you know nothing's going to change about

(35:27):
a stove being hot. You never that's not a thing
where oh no, it's never going to be hot again.
I can touch it and I won't get burnt. Okay.
So there's things that obviously do not change like that.
But this high, this we need to find out because

(35:51):
the longer we live in that high where you know,
we got to play it safe, we need to. So
we're always living in the past because obviously it's all
based on our experiences, and that experience obviously isn't right now.
It happened, whether it was five minutes ago, a minute ago,

(36:14):
it's in the past. And so we are protecting ourselves
based on experiences. And in these experiences, it's trained us
to be heightened and to be on alert and to go, Okay,

(36:35):
I need to do this and this and this. I
need to save myself, I need to all these different
things in order to feel safe. But what that actually
does when we're living in that heightened frequency, it creates
chaos within our body and in our brain because our

(36:57):
brain is always on fire, right like, it's always on
survival mode. And when we're in this survival mode, all
the chemicals like cortisol levels, all these like toxic emotions

(37:18):
are bubbling. It's creating chaos within our bodies. So our
nervous system is no, like is running on autopilot instead
of our brain going okay, well now we can decompress
a little bit, but we're no, we're always like on
autopilot because we're always on edge. We're always feeling like

(37:43):
like even though you don't feel it per se, it's
there and that can lead to disease illnesses. It can
change our body structures, can change our DNA. So again,

(38:10):
I am not a medical practitioner or a psychologist or
anything like that, so I just want to put that
out there. But from a spiritual what like spiritual side
of things, it really changes our body. We can shift ourselves.

(38:36):
We can change our DNA with visual intent and strong
thoughts and feelings about how we want to live and
how we want to go. So again this has been
there are some studies where you can where it. We

(38:59):
can actually change your DNA by visualization, thoughts and intense
like intense feelings towards this. So if you have, for example,

(39:20):
if you're predisposed to any sort of illness, I'm not
gonna stay any So if you're predisposed to any sort
of disease, like you have markers. You did the DNA testing,
so it shows that you have these distinct markers. You

(39:42):
if we automatically lay down and go yep, that's it.
I'm doomed. I'm gonna get it. Guess what you for
sure will. It's great to know these things, but if
you're in that mindset, as soon as you know something,

(40:05):
you can't unsee it. Some people are like that. But
when you can let that go and you can go, Okay,
I'm gonna change. I'm going to change for the better.
I have the intent that even though that marker is there,
it doesn't apply to me. I am healthy, I am strong,

(40:28):
And you see yourself as living healthily, happily and growing
in a way that you're thriving today, and you can
honestly emit that loving energy out through the universe. That's

(40:57):
healed the past, that's changed the present, and it opens
the door to the future and the future meaning is
the endless possibility of healthy and wealthy, prosperous side of things.

(41:19):
You just grow, you emanate and it changes. And some
people go no, no, no, you can't, but their studies
shown that it does change. It can change you decide.

(41:39):
You can decide whether or not you want to accept
it and take it, take it and put it within yourself. Now,
how do we start to change these things. It's going
to be a lot of it is sitting within yourself,

(42:02):
and it can be through meditation. Meditation is a huge
thing where you can sit within yourself and go, okay,
these are the things if you want. These are the
markers that make me this way, These are the markers
that make me feel insecure, These are what makes me angry,

(42:32):
These are what makes me closed. So instead of that,
we go I am knowing, I am healed, and you
feel young. Right, we can change our whole being in
within hours and overnight and say, oh my goodness, who

(42:58):
baseball tryouts or exhausting as a mom and it aged
me by ten years. I'm sure. Okay, so just that one,
and I'm going to use me because you know I
did say that, and I didn't have very much great hair,

(43:22):
And honestly, the last couple of weeks you can visibly
see I have lame, more gray hair. So again that
is gone, that is no longer I am young. That
So watch what you say, because words are spells and
so whatever you say you are ends up being that

(43:48):
and that can change within like hours. So again, watch you,
watch what you say, how you're tone, if you mean it.
Just like when people come to me and they're like, oh,
I just need a break, I need this, I need
a break, and I'm like, oh, please don't say that,

(44:09):
because usually when people say that, then what happens They
end up breaking something. They either have a nervous breakdown,
or they break a limb or some their car breaks
something like that. And really we don't need to emanate that.

(44:31):
So when you need to relax, it's like I would
like some peace, Give me some peace. I need peace.
I need a new sense of being that shows me
I'm an infinite being in this body that can accomplish

(44:52):
whatever I want and know that it is coming right
to me. How it doesn't matter, It really really doesn't matter.
And what was before no longer serves me. And when

(45:12):
we can look at things that no longer serve us,
we go hmmm, so how is that working for you?
Is that working for you? And the answer is typically no, No,
it's not working for me. I don't know why it is,
but it's not working for me. And I don't love it? Right?

(45:35):
So again, how are those things working for you? How
are they preventing you from reaching your potential? A ton?
We just want to grow and again emanate way more love, right,

(45:55):
So I'm gonna send you guys some love because we
have to go on a break again, so sending you
energy of love will be back into Are.

Speaker 2 (48:12):
Good evening, everybody, welcome. You're watching Journey with Joan only
on the Bold Bravy TV Network. I can't see we're
talking about change. And I stated at the beginning, I
don't know why I can't say this, but then I
can't and so what spirit is funny? Haha? I haven't
been able to say that all night. So watching the

(48:36):
Bold Brave TV Network and I'm your host, Joan Widen.
All right, So when we strive to live and create
what we want, so we say this is what I want.
I want to lose weight, I want a new job,
I want whatever. Start to visualize that and see that.

(49:00):
If you want a new job, what is the job
that you want? Are you telling yourself I can't actually
get the job that I want because I don't feel
like I have enough credentials for it. What are the
things feel it? Are you undercutting yourself because you're insecure

(49:21):
and you have let you're not confident within your own abilities?
Check that, check that and see live in the unknown.
When you live in the unknown, the infinite possibilities that
can come your way are amazing. There so much things

(49:45):
that you can live for and want and strive for
and just know that they're there. Like it's almost like
picking fruit off a tree, as long as you can
feel it and no, and sometimes it's so like you

(50:08):
can almost cry because you can believe, you believe it
so much that it's there. I want to also say
taste right, So if you're wanting some sort of food
and that someone someone's going to bring it to you,
and you go great, thank you, right, and you don't
know someone's going to bring it, but you put it

(50:29):
out there and going, gee, I would really love whatever pizza, right,
just let it doesn't matter how, doesn't matter when it
will come to you. Right, So be really clear on
your intention. Make sure your intentions match your emotion, match

(50:58):
your heart, because is when this your head, your mind,
and your body fight each other, there's no the frequency
doesn't start to emanate. And what I mean by emanating
it would be like this care bear stare. If you're

(51:20):
old enough to know the care bears right, and so
it just emanates out exudes from your body. You are
walking around perpetuating this love and the existence of everything

(51:40):
comes back to me that I have requested and that
I know I deserve. Now, sometimes people are like but
isn't that selfish? I can't. Okay, that is a thing
where you would have to look at and go, why
do you feel it's selfish to receive what you want?

(52:02):
Is it hurting anyone now? Because we or you would
be manifesting what you want for you. And when we're manifesting,
we're not manifesting hurt to be thrown to others. We're
not manifesting like destruction to others. It's all about us

(52:26):
and we are in our own universe and in our
universe because the creator, God Allah, the divine spirit, goes,
what do you want and how are you feeling? Yeah, okay, great,
here you go. I now bestow this on you. And

(52:52):
so it is. It really can be that easy. Just
like you know other people, some people look at them
and go, man, that person's got horseshoes up there, ass
how do they do it? And that is how they
do it. It's not luck. It is emanating the frequency

(53:16):
of receiving, receiving what you know and what you know
that you deserve. Right, So, if you are feeling like
you're unworthy or you're not deserving of things, check that,
find out why where did that come from? And start

(53:38):
to let that go, release it, so you can heal
that past. You can you can fix the past, I
should say, and you can heal the present and then
you open the doors for new because it doesn't matter
how it comes, because it just comes. Just know that

(53:59):
it's there, and be thankful and grateful every day, in
every way, in every minute that life is good and
that you love your life right because there is no
time or space, and all the dimensions are running congruent

(54:23):
like along each other. So whatever you heal here right here,
right now fixes all the different dimensions in all the space,
so it doesn't even matter. There is even a study
that has done where people were told to pray for

(54:46):
a group of people that were in the hospital and
they were really sick and all this stuff, and those
people actually got better. But you know what, they didn't
realize they were praying for these people that were sick
ten years prior, and it still made a huge difference. Okay,

(55:12):
So when we fix and heal, when we fix our past,
we can heal the present or heal the past. We
can fix our presence and allow the doors to open
to whatever possibility that we can dream of, and we

(55:33):
can exude and share. But the key really is through love.
When you love yourself, you love the actual energy of
emanating love and sharing it with others, it really does

(55:57):
bounce back to you. Okay, So be grateful for all
the things that you haven't received yet, because they will
come back and it will delightfully surprise you and you'll go,
holy wow, this is amazing. I feel great. Right, and

(56:19):
then we start to learn what are the things that
we did We just let go and it doesn't matter.
It's like you know, cast your net and there will
be fish, and just knowing it and loving the fact
that you know, being grateful for it, then there they are.

(56:43):
It's really that, like we have so much free will
use it, use it to the greatest advantage that you have.
We are energetic creators. So you know when you post
on social media and you have this idea and everyone

(57:05):
likes it and you're like, oh, this is great. That's
the same thing. We are creating our energy and so
start to create it within ourselves that we know that
it will spread joy to others and it just automatically
bounces back to us. So fully commit to this. Fully

(57:27):
understand that this your mind and your heart, your body
aka your body. The emotions have to be one thousand
percent aligned in order for the doors to open to
the future, to allow you to get exactly what you want.

(57:48):
And with that, when you can create everything in your life,
you can start to share it. But you share it
before that it doesn't really matter, Okay, So really constantly
broadcasts as signals that you are worthy and that you

(58:08):
are in love with your life and that you are
completely grateful for all the great things that have come
into your life. All right, So until next time, embrace
what feels the soul. You're watching Journey with Joan only
