you guys. I'm going to talk about a little about me,
and as much as this podcast is about me, it's
also about you guys. And so I'd like to know
what you guys would like to hear and if there's

anything that you would like me to cover over these
podcast series, let me know and I will try and
fit that in. All right. So, my name is Joan.
As you know, I live in Canada. I am a
Filipino Canadian. I have lived in Canada for all my life.

(01:39):
Pretty much. My journey as a medium, clairvoyant, medium has
been always There was always never a time where I
did not know spirit, Spirit did not talk to me
they were always talking to me that I don't even
remember a time when that was non existent. All Right.

(02:03):
I would hear I would get visions, I would hear spirits,
they would talk to me. We just it would be
part of my normal, everyday life and it would be
all great in a sense because I didn't know any different.
All Right. I was very scared of the dark when
I was child, because again it's in you know. Everyone says, well,

(02:28):
things go bump in the night, and well they did
for me. Most people's like no, but it did for me. Anyways,
that was my normal. What else? Now that I'm older,
I'm able to understand and receive the messages that I'm

(02:51):
here to give to certain people if it's needed. So
now instead of hiding away where I would tip do
that because this can be kind of uh raw and
weird to tell people about what you can do and

(03:14):
anything like that. I don't know, but maybe it's the
Catholic upbringing that I've had. What's it called? So one? Also,
I don't know what else we like to talk about. Actually,

(03:34):
who I'm nervous, So bear with me, and I appreciate
that you guys came on even though I was late. Okay,
so let's get into it. How do I prepare for
for a reading. Well, I typically do a meditation, so

(04:00):
let's quickly do that so I can let's kind of
calm in and connect to the earth and ground. Right,
So we'll take three deep breaths. And now if you're
driving again, you can take three deep breaths. But you know,
don't close your eyes or anything like that. I wouldn't

(04:20):
want you to get into a car accident or anything
like that. Okay, So three deep breaths. Take your energy
or feel the energy from above and allow it to
come and pour down into you. Now it's going to

(04:42):
come through. It's going to come through to your head
down and through your crown chakra into your third eye,
completely coming showering you all the way down. Now we're
at your heart center. And now it's gonna keep coming

(05:05):
down and we're gonna go all the way down down
through your feet and all the way down into the earth.
Now we're going to try and go down if you can,
if you can visualize this, this would even be better.

(05:26):
Visualize going down right to the core, the core of
the earth, all right, and once you're there, that energy
with the energy from above. So the earth energy and
the energy from above are going to connect, and they're
gonna start to swirl, and they're gonna come up like

(05:47):
an elevator, and they're gonna come up through your feet,
through your legs, up through your stomach, your solar plexus,
your heart center, and all the way up right perfect,

(06:10):
and then we're going to take it. We're going to
combine that energy and we're going to expand it out
through our heart. And as we expand it throughout out
from our heart, we're going to encase ourselves like we
would have, like in a cocoon around our body. Okay,

(06:33):
and once you're there, now, instead of keeping that cocoon
really tight and close to your body, we're going to
expand it. We're going to expand it even bigger than
the room that you're sitting in or in your car
or wherever you are. So we want it bigger, and

(06:55):
now we're going to expand it even more. Okay, and
then we're going to make it as big as North America,
let's say, all right, and then we're going to wrap
your energy around the globe. Great. Now, now that we've

(07:19):
done that, we've kind of settled those are the type
of things that I do to get ready for a reading.
When someone says, hey, Jo and I'd like to have
a reading with you, I sit and I meditate. I
make sure I ground myself and I allow my footing

(07:39):
to just focus on you, my client. Now today I'm
a little bit frazzled, not only because because I had
some technical difficulties. We've already got here, so I'm trying
to ground and release and just allow all that energy
to just flow out and allowed to go. All right now,

(08:06):
I hope you guys are all feeling better.

Now.

We are going to we are going to commercial here
really soon, and then we will talk about more things
on how I do my readings. All right, and we
what else? Now again, if there's anything that you would
like me to discuss, and I will try and discuss

(08:28):
everything that we go on through this and then we
can get going and allow and just go all right.
Who okay? So again a reading. I sit, I focus,
I go okay this John Smith, they want a reading?

(08:51):
I sit, I meditate, I ground myself, and then I
allow all the messages to come in for John Smith
or whoever, right, and then I start the reading from
there right and I ask the guides and angels to
come in, even your guides and angels to come in

(09:12):
if there's a particular message that you would like, they
would like you to know and get right. And I
believe we're getting close too commercial, and so I will
we can relax, feel that energy keep flowing, and make

(09:32):
sure you keep the energy out wide only because if
you keep your energy really close and you have a
lot of anxiety, your anxiety will become more because everyone
else's energy can come into your space. So focus on
keeping your energy wide and large, and it will allow

(09:54):
you to be more grounded and feel more comfortable in
your body because it's only your energy that's in it
instead of attracting and feeling everyone else's energies. If that
makes sense, okay. And so the tighter we have it,

(10:18):
the more energy that can attach to us and feel
and we can feel it and feel more anxious about it.
So the larger our energy field is, I like to
wrap it around the whole world so that it's I
can feel more grounded, I can know that it's mostly

(10:39):
it's my energy and I'm not necessarily picking up everyone
else's energy. Tenseness, the stress there problems, et cetera. All right, Okay,
so I am I apologize. I am new to this.

(11:02):
I am trying to figure out the seconds here, and
I know we're going into commercial here right away. Thirty
seconds is a long time, all right. What else? When
we get back, I will talk about asking for guidance

(11:25):
from your guides and angels and what meditation feels like
or what a meditation is, because everyone thinks that you
got to sit in quiet and it has to be perfect.
You know, you are closing your eyes and you do
all these different things. Meditation can mean different things for

(11:49):
different people. Some people have busy minds, and sometimes the
busiest minds get lost in their busyness and that can
also just to be a meditation as well, as long
as you figure out and you realize that that's not
a bad thing. And so when we understands our bodies

(12:14):
and we can accept who we are, it is not
necessarily things are bad. Things present us the way we are,
and when we accept it, things follow suit and it
allows us to be us authentically. And moreover, it reduces

(12:39):
the stress in our body and that allows us to
feel like a human being and not have a perception
or a that we have to be perfect in order
to have a perfect meditation or for to have messages
come to us. Right, so that is very important about meditation,

(13:04):
guides and angels, same thing. What is your perception? Are
you blocking yourself from receiving messages from your guides? All right?
And let me see when we have a notion of
what guides or like guide our guides and angels or

(13:30):
even the voices on our head, how it's supposed to
feel like or be like, we imagine it as a
bad thing or that can't be because that's that's not
how so and so does it. That's not how you know,

(13:52):
Teresa does it, or that's not how Tyler Henry does it,
or that's not how the guru down the street does it,
or even the guy you know, the Tibetan monk master
that you've come across, how he meditates is totally different.

(14:14):
And that's okay. It's okay to be different. You just
have to accept you for being you and allowing things
to be you. Let me see, all right, anything, all right,

Welcome back. Thank you again for tuning in. We're going
to talk about guides and angels. Okay, everyone's got guys
in angels. Everyone wants to see them, they want to
feel them, they want to hear them in a certain way,

(18:24):
like in a different voice or maybe some all those things. So,
all those things are different types of perceptions. And when
we have perceptions on how certain things should go, it
sometimes blocks our energy and it blocks our way to

(18:44):
actually getting the messages. So a lot of times when
we are looking for our intuition and trying to get
our messages to come to us, we actually have to
turn back to our bodies because our bodies will tell us. Right. So,

(19:05):
there might be a tingling in your body, So then
will you ask, okay, so what does that mean? Okay,
So I feel a heaviness in my heart. There's a
heaviness in my heart, and it feels like it's somewhat
hard to breathe. Someone is going through a hard time, right,

(19:28):
So then I ask myself, I ask, body, does this
belong to me? Or does this belong to someone else?
And if it says this belongs to someone else, okay, great,
when did I pick that up? Now? Even though I
say to expand your body and your energy, body out big.

(19:53):
Because I'm a medium, people really want healing. Their soul
and their spirit will come kind of knocking on my
door on my energy field, and then I will feel
the wave and the whoosh of the energy. And I

(20:16):
might not get it right then and there, because again,
not everyone is open and willing and ready, and it
sometimes takes a little bit, right because it depends if
I'm busy doing something or you know, I'm attending to
my kids all these different things. Right, I'll go to

(20:37):
a mall. Am I agitated? I don't know why I
am agitated? Then I have to stop and think, Okay,
let's take a deep breath, all right, is this mine?
Or is this someone else's? Okay, Well it's someone else's, okay, great?
Is it necessarily something that I need to talk to
them about? Is it something? No, it isn't right. The

(20:57):
body will say Okay, no, Joan, it's not. They just
walked by you and they just since you're a natural healer,
it you take it so you can release it for them, right,
And so then me, for me personally, I go and

(21:17):
send them love, some love energy. Now some people love
energy can be tricky because some people are like well,
but love like love can be hurtful, love can be
all these different things. But this is more of the
love in the light, right, Like you're like a parent's

(21:39):
love for their child. A mother loves their child, right,
God loves Jesus right, So you just you send that
energy to them and then you bless them. Then I
bless them with pure light and love and pure purified

(22:02):
source energy is what I send them the energy, and
then it just kind of goes all right. And then
so the body always tells right and for me anyways,
sometimes I actually hear it it just like they're whispering
in my ear. But a lot of times during a

(22:24):
session or right before a session, I will feel extremely tired.
I will feel like something's wrong with me. And really
part of that is me getting ready for my session
to come. Right. And so when I sit and meditate
for you, my clients. I sit there and then I

(22:48):
start getting all these images and visions and messages for you.
So whether they come in verbal, sometimes they come as
a film or a picture, or even a picture of
a person. Now, if I'm doing a reading in person,

(23:10):
if if you give me something to hold that belong
to your loved one, the connection gets stronger because their
energy actually stays in that piece of jewelry, maybe like
it was a pocket watch, right, or a ring, a necklace,

(23:33):
or even their favorite stuffed toy. Right. So there's a
whole bunch of these things that's going on now. I
personally still have this heaviness kind of in my chest.
It's a little bit hard to breathe. I know there's
a few people watching now. I don't know if anyone

(23:56):
that's watching has really bad anxiety at the moment. It's
either anxiety or there's a heaviness because they're just unsure
of what to do next and life just isn't the
way they're expecting or wanting it to be at this moment.
Life should be more not necessarily easy, but not so burdened, right,

(24:26):
not so heavy. There needs to be more joy in
your life. So if this is you, try and see
the good in things in each day instead of going, well,
this sucked today, this sucked today, this suck day. You know,

(24:49):
I obviously no one loves me. God doesn't love me,
He's not there. Everything is going to shit, and what
was it? And so why do I have to go
through all this stuff? Why do I need to be

(25:12):
feeling this is just so heavy? Now? It's not like
what's it called a super deep depression. But at the
same time, it's like they feel like they don't have
any luck. Well, luck is there and luck is always
with you. And I like to say luck is like spirit.

(25:36):
But in order to experience the luck, we need to
be able to see all the blessings that we have
in front of us. Right, And so it could be, Hey,
you know I found a dime on the ground. Well,
that's from my angels, or that's from my guide. Who

(25:58):
were you thinking about right before you saw that?

Right?

Chances are that's who the message was from.

Right.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Maybe you were just going about your day day and
all of a sudden you see a Harley Davison. Yeah,
I was just thinking about my mom and she loves
Harley Davison's. Well that was a message to her, like
from her to you to say, yeah, I hear you,

(26:31):
I'm here, I'm listening, I'm always with you. So we
need to love everything we see, and we need to
appreciate everything that comes our way. And even if it's
you know what, the person in front of you bought

(26:53):
your your what's it called your coffee before you, that's great.
It's not like wow, who you know what? Someone just
left me and it feels great, you know, for us
to allow and accept things and receive things for us

(27:16):
so we can be grateful. We just have to remember
to go thank you. I am so grateful for this,
you know. And yes it's you might think, well, that's
just you know, that was only a dollar, Joan, that
was two dollars, but it doesn't even really matter. We

I hope when you talk about your GUIDs and angels
and you're listening that everything can be just more kind
of calm, right, So just allow and breathe. And the

(31:08):
message is when you ask your body where is this
coming from, it will tell you within the first three seconds.
And if you don't hear a message in the first
three seconds and it's after that, then that's when we
actually make it up ourselves, right. And the more we
get anxious about wanting to know things from our guys

(31:31):
and our angels, the more it becomes at like a
sticky point because now we're going, well, I don't know
what like I know, I feel like I'm making this
stuff up, right, So then the quick answer is ask
yourself a yes or no question, and then it will

(31:53):
just come really quickly and allow. Right, Your guides and
angels want to be there for you. They are there
with you every day. They want to see you succeed.
In this world that we live in. Everything feels like
a rat race. And you know, we got to be
better than someone else. We got to do this. But

(32:15):
I'm going to tell you this world is full of
abundance and love and the only person that you are
actually competing against is yourself, right, And so when we
start competing with ourselves, it doesn't feel like we are
competing with ourselves. We feel like we're competing with others, right,

(32:39):
But reality is we're only competing with ourselves. And the
more we accept ourselves as who we are, the more
we can grow and we can learn and we can
start living the life that we actually want to live. Right. So,
if we start looking at someone right and we go, well,

(33:03):
they've got the fast car, they've got, you know, a
house in the suburbs, there got two kids, and they're
super happy, but we don't know that, right. Maybe is
that their goal? Is that your goal? Or is that
the social media goal that's supposed to you know, that
everyone's supposed to have. Maybe that's not Maybe your goal

(33:28):
is to just be happy. You don't necessarily need all
those things. Do you want those things or is that
something that someone else has taught you that you need
to have in order to be happy, because having all
those things equal success. But if that's not success to you.

(33:52):
Then those things won't make you happy, right, And so
we look to our guides and angels and say, why
am I not happy? I have all these things? Why
can't I be more happy? I feel empty? There's something
wrong and I feel super empty. While the more we

(34:15):
feel that, the more we have to look within. Right Again,
it comes back to our bodies. So we look within,
and we truly feel we kind of have to sit
in our staff, right, So if we're unhappy, we have
to sit in it, and we have to observe, right.

(34:36):
And when we observe, we have to remember to be
kind to ourselves because as human beings, we are the
worst to ourselves. We would not even be friends with
ourselves if our self was another person, right, we would

(34:56):
cut them out and we'd be like, absolutely not, are
so fucking toxic, I Am not going to be friends
with you at all, right, So we need to be
remembered to be kind. So when we're observing and looking
at our life as a whole and wanting to know

(35:18):
what you know, what or where we need to improve on,
we have to be kind because remember, we chose all
those things, even though society may have told us. We
should do X Y and Z. We still chose it right,

(35:39):
and it's okay to go. You know what, I don't
like X Y and Z. I don't want, you know,
the house. I don't want, you know, like a white
collar job. Maybe I like working with my hands. Maybe
I want to do a podcast, right and tell everyone

(35:59):
about what I do and help them awaken themselves right
and understand their own intuition to allow them to grow,
which happens to be mine. Right, and so that's okay,
and that's there is no wrong in this world, right.
It's only wrong when we perceive it's wrong. Right. Gone

(36:25):
are the days where a lot of people can shame
you for doing as well. Why aren't you settling down?
You know, why do you keep traveling? That doesn't matter anymore, right,
because we are now empowered to be ourselves, and so
we are free to do whatever we want and it's accepted.

(36:50):
Right when we tell our children, what do you want
to do? What do you want to be? That's okay,
that's great, you can be whatever you want, right, parents,
there's not very many parents today with the young kids
that say absolutely, you cannot do that. No, you can't
talk to that person, because you know what, they aren't

(37:13):
what's it called, They're not in our status right now,
it doesn't really matter. No one really cares. And again
that comes back to your perceptions and what you were
told as a child. What was right, what was wrong?
And it just honestly, what feels good to you? What

(37:35):
is the kind and the love you know that you
want to transmit and emit to other people around you. Okay,
and so you know I'm gonna I know we are
talking about guides and angels, but I want to actually
touch base on your New Year's resolutions. Now we are

(37:57):
in we're just you know, we're at the end of
the first quarter, right, and many, I don't know how
many like I don't make New Year's resolutions because it's
a more of a whole all the time kind of

(38:18):
how do I improve myself and how do I do
this kind of goals? Right, So New Year's resolutions, they calm,
everyone's pumped, work great, and then all of a sudden
we realize, you know what, this isn't really for me.
You know, I said I would work out, but I
just don't love it. Right, But who says working out

(38:40):
has to go to the gym. Why can't working out
be going for a hike and then making that hike
instead of a three kilometer loop, making it a five
kilometer or you know, I don't. We're you're in the States,
so you know whatever mile miles right, So for me,
I would do like a one kilometer, two kilometers three,

(39:04):
and then you would make it more challenging, go on
a hike that has inclines, right, and then or it's
more hilly, right, or bring your dog, bring whatever. Make
it fun, make it fun for you. And when you
can make it fun and you can actually love it
and enjoy it, you are actually going to stick to it. Right.

(39:27):
So if you say no, i'm gonna get fit, I'm
gonna do CrossFit, I'm gonna do like a boot camp,
well I can tell you I did a boot camp
and it was more like military style, and they were
yelling at me at five am in the morning, which
is super early for this medium. This medium likes that's

(39:48):
almost i'm just starting to fall asleep kind of thing.
So when I did that, I don't know why I
signed up for super early, but I did. And I
can tell you when I was done because I completed,
because I was like, no, I'm going to finish this,
and they're just like, you need to, you should come back.
You you did really well. But again, for my heart,

(40:10):
I actually don't think I actually lost any weight because
I did not enjoy it, right. I did not enjoy
people yelling at me, yelling my last name at me,
like get your ass in here, get on, like help someone,
why are you so slow? Keep going? Keep going right,
Like that's great and dandy, and a lot of people

(40:32):
love that. I just didn't right. And so for me, exercise,
exercise is more like stretching, maybe doing some handstands. I
have a handstand like bench that I could do it myself.
I also do arial yoga, and I enjoy that kind
of thing, right, So find your passion, and when you

(40:54):
have your passion for your goals, your New Year's resolutions,
it becomes super easy. But we have to remember when
we set our goals, they're here. But if we attain
them super quick and we changed the benchmark, we can't say,

(41:17):
you know, at the end of the year, oh my goodness,
I didn't meet any of my goals. I can't believe this.
I'm a failure. Why did this work? Right? Even though
you met all.

and the sticks in the you know, perfect grounding situations. However,
you know I have starlink and when it snows really heavily,
sometimes it goes haywire on me. And today, along with

all the other technical difficulty ties that I've had today,
we do have a snowstorm here out in Alberta. And
so I apologize, and so bear with me, and I
hope you're getting a lot out of this, all right,
So to recap about your goals, right, your New Year's resolutions,

(44:34):
make sure you happy with them, like and they can
be super easy. It doesn't matter, right, it doesn't matter
if you reach them in the first quarter. But if
you if you move the benchmark, just remember you were
already successful. You chose to add more. And you know

(44:54):
what if you actually look at it, because usually when
we meet all our goal in the first quarter, we
add like we're like, well, that was super easy. I'm
going to add like twenty more things, right, and then
at the end of the year we've are like feeling
down on ourselves going, oh, I didn't do so well
because you know what, I only got halfway through. But

(45:17):
if you think about it, you actually succeeded three hundred
times more because maybe you had five the first time
and then you did ten more. So that's three times
the goals that you had set for yourself initially at
the beginning of the year, and then we were good.
All right. Anyways, we are almost done here today. I

(45:44):
want to We're going to go to a quick break
here in a minute, and so I just wanted to
come back and I'm going to tell you who comes

and so we figure out because a lot of people

So the most asked questions when someone comes to me
for a reading is what am I going to meet
my person? So love life, love life through and through.
Next is money and career, then after that is health. Right,

(50:04):
But the love life a lot of people some and
it's not just women that come and ask about when
I'm going to meet my person. Men come to me
as well, and hey, I haven't found the right person.
Why can't I find the right person? Could you help
me with that? What am I doing wrong? How can I?

(50:26):
Am I blocking this? Am I blocking them from coming
to me? Most often it's they're not actually just getting out,
They're not going to anywhere to meet someone, right, So
nowadays it's different, Like I haven't dated in a long time.
So what I do know for my friends is there's
online dating and online dating is a whole different ball game.

(50:48):
So if you don't want to online date, that's fine.
No one says you actually have to online date. But
how are you getting out? How are you gonna miss like,
how are you going to meet meet missus right?

Speaker 4 (51:01):
Right?

Speaker 2 (51:02):
Or how are you gonna meet mister right? How? Unless
you get yourself out there. You have to put yourself
out there. And so whether you go to a bar,
you go dancing, or you go out with your friends,
maybe you go on trips to Mexico, you know, or
you do a singles cruise, or you go to a
singles resort, right, things like that, If you don't put

(51:27):
yourself out there, I'm gonna tell you, mister right, mister
right or missus right isn't gonna knock on your door
and say, hey, I heard you were looking for me.
I'm here, I love you, Let's get married, let's go
do and let's have a wonderful life. Right. They are

(51:49):
not gonna do that, right. Maybe they could be in
your building, but again you would have to go to
social events for you're building, right because or when you
get the mail, or do you talk to your neighbors,
all those kind of things. We have to put ourselves
out there in order for mister or missus right to

(52:14):
come forward. All right, So money, money, everyone's always worried
about money, money and career. You know, I feel like
money is super tough and it feels like it doesn't
welcome me, right money. Everyone else has money, but I don't.

Speaker 4 (52:36):
Right.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
So, but when we think about that and look at that,
we're comparing ourselves again to someone else. But when we
look at our own situations again, because we are only
competing with ourselves. This earth is super abundant, and spirit
wants you to abundant, and it's there for the taking.

(52:59):
You just have to reach for it. But you have
to get out of your own way in order to
be able to attain it, to grab it, to see it,
to allow it to flow freely towards yourself. Okay. And
so everyone's like, well, why don't I have this? Why
don't I have that? So then take a look at

(53:20):
yourself and your surroundings and all the things that you
actually have. Like maybe you say, well I don't have
my own car. I lease it, okay, but do you
have the money to lease that? Absolutely you do. Right,
There's all these different things right, we have to be
grateful for all these things. Money comes to us easily

(53:42):
and effortlessly when we allow it to.

Speaker 4 (53:44):
Right.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
However, if we sit there and we just spend spends,
fends fens, spend on certain things that don't necessarily bring
us joy, right, or we feel like other people people
are in more need than us, so we put them
higher than ourselves. Right. So I'm going to tell you

(54:11):
to living the life that you want to leave lead,
you have to put yourself first. You are number one always, Okay,
And so if it becomes between you and someone else,
they say they were in an earthquake or whatever. Now

(54:34):
I'm not saying you can't help them, right, but if
we only have a certain amount of means for ourselves,
I would say, take care of you first, and once
you're taken care of and you have extra and you're
more abundant, then you can start giving. Right. We want

(54:57):
to make sure like we pay ourselves first. Right. Have
you ever wondered why churches are always super rich because
they pay themselves first, and they make people give them
ten percent of their way first. Right, and then once
they have everything taken care of, guess what? Then that's

(55:21):
when they start helping others, right, So we have to
look at it as we are our temple, we are
our church. We need to pay ourselves first, and then
once everything is done, then we can start to give
to others, all right. So a lot of that is,

(55:43):
you know, like it's a lot of adjusting and understanding
and knowing that we are worthy of having this money
and it's not greedy to have this money. And just
because you can't help someone at that moment doesn't mean
that you are greedy. It just means that you are

(56:04):
taking care of yourself first. Okay, we need to take
care of us in order for us to be able
to take care of someone else. Again, it's like sitting
on the airplane the mask come down. You are no
good to someone else if you put on their mask

(56:26):
before you, because as you're trying to put the mask
on someone else, you could be falling down on the ground.
And then what happens because you don't have enough oxygen.
You're on the ground unable to help that person. And
then that person isn't able to do help themselves, and
they certainly aren't going to be able to help you

(56:48):
because most likely they're the child, right, and they're depending
on you to be the role model to help them
out in that situation, because you're the calm when there's
a huge storm, right, So put the mask on you first,
allow yourself to enjoy that and then like make sure

(57:10):
you're like you're fitting, your footing is stable and everything
is good for you. Then you place it onto the
other person. Right, You got to make sure it's securely
on you, and then you place it onto someone else.
So we always always take care of you. You are
number one, and it doesn't mean that you are again

(57:32):
selfish or you know a bad person for thinking about you.
It isn't right. We have to take care of our temples,
and our temple is our body. We are out of
