Pesquisadores do Instituto Agronômico de Campinas trabalham há mais de 20 anos no desenvolvimento de um café naturalmente descafeinado. Atualmente, o processo é feito na indústria, mas uma planta que produz o café sem cafeína está sendo desenvolvido em laboratório. No JR Agro, o pesquisador do IAC, Júlio César Mistro, conta como a nova planta foi criada e dá mais detalhes dessa pesquisa revolucionária.
