Zombies 4 follows Zed and Addison as they embark on a road trip the summer after their first year of college. As adventures unfold, they unexpectedly discover the warring worlds of Sunnyside and Shadyside and come into contact with two new groups of monsters. Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim reprise their roles as Addison and Zed, Seabrook’s star-crossed zombie/cheerleader couple, in the fourth installment. Donnelly and Manheim also executive produce. Cast members Chandler Kinney and Kylee Russell also return as werewolf Willa and loveable zombie Eliza, respectively. Newcomer Freya Skye and Disney Channel star Malachi Barton (Disney’s “Villains of Valley View”) star as new characters Nova and Victor, mysterious supernatural strangers whom Zed and Addison encounter during their summer travels.

Good enough, Gray, Yes, I am excited to be talking
to you. I've talked to both two of you before,
but macconey were new for me, so it's great to
be back. So let's I was Zombies four. I am
super excited for this. I have watched all three of
the other Zombies movies. I've done interviews, and I'm just
excited for this new one. Start with Julian. Zombie's four
(00:52):
brings a new light to the Zombies franchise. It has
new characters, the day Walkers and the Vampires. Talk to
me about what the film brings to the franchise.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
I mean it brings you know, two new opposing sides
of monsters, day Walker's vampires, day Walkers from Sunnyside Vampires
from Shady Side. It brings some more. There's family, and
there's love, and there's friendship, and there's also kind of
the opposite of friendship, right, there's people not liking each
other and figuring that out and how to work with that.
(01:20):
And that's just a great message to put out in
the world. And that's something I think Zombies does.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
I agree. I mean, I think the message of it
is really what's the most important. I mean, you have
these two sides that are kind of going against each
other and they need to find a way to well,
mainly the main characters. They need to find a way
to help these characters reunite with each other. So, so
talk to me about the message of togetherness and how

Zombies four does a good job of producing that message
but also teaching it to a younger audience.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
I think the cool part is that the past three
Zombies movies have taught you so much about what it's
like to unite and and I think what it's like
to bring different kinds of people together and what unity means.
I think the cool part is that you get.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
To meet two new people in this franchise. You get
to meet the day Walkers in the vampires, and you
get to see the chemistry within the vampires and the
chemistry within the day Walkers, and you get to see
how they live their different lives, one on the night side,
one on the bright side. So I think it's really
cool getting to meet these new people and getting to
see where this movie journey sort of takes them, and
then what role the ogs sort of play in that.
(02:27):
I think I'm really excited for people to see where
this movie takes them and what message we kind of portray,
because I think it's one of those things for Zombies
is a franchise where you can take it any sort
of way you want.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
So Macon and talk to me about the new character,
starting with you, What does your character for you like,
resonate for you, and what will we see out of
them in this.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
What made me fall in love with this character is
just kind of his take on situations. He's you always
try to see the positive and things even when it's
not so easy. He's fun guy, he's lovable, he's he's cheeky,
he's funny, he's silly, and I'm like that in real life,
and so being able to bring that to the character
is really fun, and I'm really excited for people to

be able to see that and their take on it.
And yeah, I'm excited to them to see it and
everyone else's characters, She's, She's, They're incredible.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And another thing that's a big part of Zombies, of
course is the music and the dancing. So going back
to Maconey, because I know you dance too, talk to
me about the part of getting to dance and do
the music.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
It's really it's a dream role. I mean, yeah, like
to go to work and just singing dances just so
much fun. Like it just it didn't even feel like
I was working it. It felt like I was dancing in
my room at three am in the morning, Like it
was so much fun. And being able to do with
like these guys was just just made it even the
chowry on top.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
And so then just lastly, with this being obviously it's
a new and stallment, we have such a strong message
as for the youth, what do you hope that people
get out of Zombies for making it stand out from
the rest?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Friendship, love and hope And I know that that's you know,
been in every single movie that they've done, but it
shows double in this one.
Speaker 5 (04:03):
The thing I would hope fans takeaway is made like
to celebrate your differences as something I would say, and
celebrate your differences. What side do you come from? Celebrate
your differences and I hope fans resonate with that.
